"Leave me alone!" I shouted.

His expressions were mixed up- he was angery, fearful, worried, confused.

"We need to go!" He repeated.

"Shouldn't you be with Emily?"

"We broke up." He said, tightening the grip on my wrist.

It was shocking for me. Ryan, who left me for Emily had left her as well. What can we expect from a guy like him? But what bothered me was the fact that he was back to me! Did he mistook me for his toy?

Does he think doing all this stuff out of nowhere would make him any better? Does he think it would change my mind?

"I. said. Leave. me." I was very serious, "If it's Chase, then let him be. I don't care. I like him. He talked to me for hours and actually cared. And you?" With this I freed my hand from his grip.

His face was as hard as a stone.

"Please don't do this."

"Get away! I will meet him." I replied. He just smirked as if he didn't care anymore but I know him a little too much. He went back to stage for practice.

"Hi Mia!" I heard Chase. He was wearing a a pair of sky blue jeans and a plain white t shirt.

"Hi Chase."

"So."

"So?"

"I am your friend. Your phone friend. Aren't you happy?" He said casually.

"Yeah... I am." I said with a huge smile. Wow finally, I was really happy that I met him. But it wasn't anything like I expected.

So... No butterflies? No sparks? Nothing?

He chirped, taking me into an embrace, "I can't believe that it all started with a dare. Like, oh my god, Mia. Come on, we will hang out some time. Hey why not tonight? I am throwing another party." He grinned.
"parties are going to be our thing!"

I forced a smile.

I didn't know how to reply. Wasn't it weird? "Sure." I said hugging him back.

Suddenly, the sound of guitar filled the room. My gaze flickered towards Ryan, on the stage.

Oh my god! What was happening to me? Was I crying? Was it right? Being with and trusting Chase? My heart was not ready to accept Chase. Never. Ryan might be right.

"So you coming tonight?" Chase winked. No way.

"Er... Chase, I must be going. See you soon." With this ladies and gentlemen, I ran away, ruining my story again, Mia ran away.

But to my surprise, my phone beeped.
