One Year Later

I took a seat in my nuclear physics class and started getting ready. My phone started ringing I looked at it, Happy was calling. I rolled my eyes and hit ignore and put the phone on vibrate. I don't know what his problem was lately but he seemed on edge and every time I asked him what was wrong he would just blow me off. He knew this was my class time so he needs to leave me alone. It started buzzing again so I stuffed it into my bag as my professor began speaking

"Alright guys today we have a very special treat for you, please welcome our guest speaker Mr. Tony Stark." He said and I wanted to sink into my seat as everyone gave him a standing ovation. I looked at the door trying to make an escape plan as everyone was still clapping as he walked in wearing a navy three piece suit. I looked down at my notes and just kept staring as he started talking about nuclear missiles. I kept thinking about leaving but of course I choose a seat in the middle of the room, so there was no way to sneak out, then my phone started buzzing again I reached in my bag to put it on silent

"I'm sorry am I boring you miss.." Tony said and I looked up at him

"Teller." I finished our deja vu introduction

"Ms. Teller see me after class." He said and everyone laughed but me I just rolled my eyes and put my phone on silent. Then I focused on his lecture, as soon as class ended I tried to make a run for it as soon as I stepped out into the hall I heard

"I know you weren't going to leave without saying hi to me." I turned to see a smiling Happy Hogan

"Hi Happy." I said returning his smile

"No hug?" He said holding out his arms and I walked over and he pulled me into a big squeeze

"I thought we were friends." He said and I chuckled

"Well it's been awhile," I said and he nodded

"Boss wants to see you." He said

"Yeah I'm busy, so let's do this some other time." I said then turned to leave and I ran right into Tony

"Gianna Teller forever showing me up at my lectures."

"I didn't even say anything this time." I said

"You didn't have to." He said looking me in the eyes and I felt that bubbling in my stomach again

"How have you been Tony?" I asked him

"Good, as you just heard we're working on a new missile project,"

"I know it seems very promising."

"What are you doing in Seattle?" He asked changing the subject

"I moved up this way almost two years ago, I got a job with Microsoft."

"Good and you're going for your masters? That's great." He said and I nodded

"I-" We both said at the same time

"You first." I said

"I'm sorry about the way things went down, it wasn't my place to tell you what to do."

"It's fine in a way you were right, I should've taken it when I had the chance, things have been different I like Microsoft but it's not my dream job."

"I miss working with you." He said and I felt myself blush

"I'm mean while I appreciate the help of the people I have working for me now but, they don't get me like you do." He said and I raised an eyebrow and he shook his head

"Work wise we-"

"We work well together." I finished with smile

"Do you want to get some dinner?" He asked and I pulled out my phone to check the time I had seven missed calls from Happy

"I can't." I said

"Can't or won't?"

"Can't I'm seeing someone Tony." I said and I saw the disappointment in his eyes but he never lost the smile on his face

"Cheer up I heard Victoria Secret is doing a shoot a few blocks from here." I teased and he chuckled

"Well sounds like my evening is booked, then." He said and I kissed his cheek

"I'll see you Tony."

"Hey wait!" He called and I turned to face him

"You still have my number right?" He asked and I nodded

"Call me if you need anything," He said and I nodded and gave him a smile then I waved to Happy and walked away

When Gianna didn't answer for the fifth time, I got on my bike and sped over to her school. Who the hell did she think she was not answering my calls? When I got there I planned on yanking her ass out of whatever the fuck she was doing. She didn't need this bullshit anyway and the only reason I really allowed it is because Jax asked me to, but enough was enough. I parked my bike next to her car and headed inside on my way in I passed a Mercedes parked in the fire lane, I shook my head

'rich fucking prick' I thought as I entered the building, I rounded then counter and stopped as I saw Gianna up on the second floor talking to some guy in a suit with dark hair. I knew him from somewhere but I couldn't see his face, I could tell from the body language and her smile that they were flirting. I felt my blood boil when she kissed his cheek then as she walked away I saw his face Tony fucking Stark. What was he doing here? She acted like she didn't care but I could tell she had feelings for him. From the look she was giving him those feelings were still valid. i can't compete with him so I turned and walked out the building and sped over to the clubhouse. I walked over to the bar and grabbed a bottle of jack

"You good brother?" Kozik asked I just ignored him and grabbed the blonde crow eater off the pole and took her back to my dorm, and bent her over the bed trying to remove every trace Gianna's blue eyes and smile she was giving to fucking Tony Stark
