'I am Iron Man!'" I snapped hitting his arm we had left Stark Industries hours ago and he was now hiding in my condo because no one outside of him, Rhodey, Happy knew where it was

"I had to."

"No you wanted to! Why? Is everything you have not enough?"

"You remember what we talked about? About me being meant for something more? This is it I know it."

"Where do I fit into all of this?" I asked and he took my hand and kiss it

"I know this is a lot to ask but I want you with me. I-I don't normally do this but I want to be with you Gianna."

"You want to be with me?"

"Yes." He said firmly

"Are you sure because I have a lot of baggage."

"Well load it up with mine, you and I we fit all I'm asking for is one chance. We can make this work even with me being Iron Man."

"And do I keep working for you?"

"Work with me, yes I want you will me all the way." He said and I leaned in and pressed my lips to his all of those feeling I had earlier came rushing back he pulled me close and I wrapped my arms around his neck on hand playing in his hair

"Ok." I said against his lips

"Yeah?"

"But first, no more other women I've been there done that I want a monogamous relationship. I know we just agreed to take things to the next level but my last relationship I wasted over three years of my life and I knew we weren't in the same direction. So I think it's fair that I tell you now what I want for my future."

"Well what do you see in your future?"

"I want to get married someday, I want a house in New York not in the city though in suburbs because I want to have white Christmases. I want kids at least two, most importantly I want a partner who loves and respects me and treats me like an equal, that's what I want."

"Then your going to have it, I want us to have it but let's start slow. I'll go home and change make sure a reservation at Mastros you go get all dolled up and I'll be back to pick you up in an hour."

"I love Mastros."

"I know." He said then pecked my lips and stood

"Wait what about the press? I thought you were hiding?"

"I'll rent the place out then, just be ready for our date." He said then walked out of my house. Once I made sure he was gone I facetime Kayla she picked up on the second ring

"He's Iron Man?!"

"Oh yeah you saw that?"

"Uh yeah every channel has been interrupted by that announcement."

"Well I have a better one, we're going on a date tonight." I told and she screamed making me laugh

"What's wrong!?" I heard in the back

"Nothing David I'm fine." I heard her tell him

"When did this happen!?"

"Just now I need you to help me pick out an outfit."

"Of course, what happened to make him finally get off his ass?"

"Last night was a lot it's a long story I have to tell you in person, but he did tell he never stopped thinking about the other night."

"Where you guys danced and flirted and all of that?' She asked with a smile I could feel myself blushing

"Have you guys kissed?' She asked and I nodded and she let out a scream making me chuckle

"How was it?"

"Life everything I thought it would be, I know it's early we haven't even been on our first date yet but this feels right."

"Because it is right, and it's something you really want. Just you no one else is in your ear."

"Please you've been on team Tony since the beginning."

"Because I can see how happy you are with him. When are you guys going out?"

"Um in about 50 minutes."

"What the hell are doing! Lets go get ready!"

After trying on 4 other dresses we picked a silk blush pink wrap mini dress, that Kayla said showed off my assets. Once I finished my makeup we hung up and I promised to call her and tell her all of the details of our date. I was putting my earrings in when I heard my doorbell, I looked myself once more then I went to get the door. I opened to to see Tony holding a box of multicolor roses

"Wow." He said softly I felt my face get hot

"Hi." I said

"You look amazing." He said

"Thank you, you look pretty handsome yourself."

"Did you have any doubt I would?" He said and u rolled my eyes

"and you just ruined the moment." I said letting him inside

"Will these make it better?" He asked holding out the flowers

"These are so pretty!" I said taking the box,

"They last for a year." He said and I raised an eyebrow he was showing off.

"I love them thank you." I couldn't stop smiling I can't remember if I've ever gotten flowers before. I put them on the table and Tony took my hand and we headed out to the restaurant. When we got there it was very quiet

"How did you dodge the press?"

"Happy may have let it slip that I would be eating at Nobu in L.A tonight."

"Good job." I told him and we went inside

This was officially the best date I've ever been on, things between us just flowed because we already knew each other so well. I can't remember the last date I've been on, the most romantic Happy would get was a dinner at home instead of being at the clubhouse.

The waiter was clearing our plate and I looked out at the ocean, this is way I loved this place it had the most gorgeous view of the sea, I heard the beginnings of one of my favorite songs 'The point of it all' by Anthony Hamilton

"Oh I love this song, let's dance." I said standing up

"I thought you didn't dance?"

"Please?" I asked with a pout, he sat his napkin on the table and took my hand and we walked to the dance floor
