Once everyone was out of the building Coulson was calling for back up, I couldn't stop worrying about Tony. Where did they go? The his voice came though my earpiece again

"G!"

"Tony! Where are you?"

"I'm on the roof, I'm almost out of power, I need to get out of this suit." He said then I heard Obadiah in the background

"Nice try."

Then the line went silent again

"Tony!" I called but I didn't get an answer I glanced up at the roof but I couldn't see anything then I saw an explosion

"Oh my God!" I said to myself

"G I need you to overload the reactor!" He said

"Tony that will cause an electrical explosion."

"I know wait for me to clear the roof, then blow it." He said

"Ok be quick I'm going in." I told him ran into the building

"Get back here!" I heard Coulson say

I made it to the control panel and began turning all the power switches onto the highest level

"I'm ready Tony get off the roof!" I told him hitting the last button, once I flip the fuse it will go off. I heard glass break I ducked as it began to rain down on me once it stopped I looked up to see Tony hanging over the reactor from the roof , I felt my heart drop to the floor this was not supposed to happen

"Gianna flip the switch!"

"Not until your down!"

"JUST DO IT!"

"I CAN'T YOU WILL DIE!" I shouted back then Obadiah fired at him leaving him handing by one hand

"FLIP IT!" He screamed and I did then I ducked under as the reactor shot up, the blast lasted only five second once it was over I ran out of the building just as Obadiah fell directly into the generator causing an even bigger explosion

"Are you ok?' Coulson asked checking me over after the blast calmed down, I nodded

"I need to get up there!" I pushed away from him and took the emergency ladder up to the roof

"Tony!" I looked around but I didn't see him

"Tony!" I shouted again

I looked that when I saw the glowing light

"Tony!" I rushed over to see him laying near the hole in the roof he was unconscious I checked his pulse he still had a steady heartbeat. I leaned down and kissed his head

"I love you." I said softly knowing he couldn't hear me

I was stretching after spending most of the night in this uncomfortable hospital chair, Agent Coulson had Tony brought to this private hospital, while they cleaned up the mess at Stark Industries

"How is he?" Rhodey asked coming back in the room holding two cups of coffee

"Still no change, doctor says he's fine, just exhausted."

"That's to be expected." He said handing me one of the cups

"Thanks."

"Anytime."

"I mean it for everything, I just keep thinking if you didn't make to him in time, I don't know-"

"He still would have been ok, he had it all the work was done by the time I got there. He's going to be ok." He said rubbing my back

"I hope so." I said leaning over to take Tony's hand in mine

"I'm fine." I heard and I blinked twice making sure I wasn't crazy then I saw Tony smiling at me

"Oh God are you ok? How are you feeling?" I asked moving closer

"I just said I'm fine, are you hurt?"

"Not a scratch."

"I'm a superhero now." He smirked and Rhodey and I shared a look

"No your not." He told him

"Don't be jealous." He told him

"Tony if the government knows you have this weapon they are going to take it." He told him

"They can't do that, it's not like a broke the law."

"Well flying into an active warzone is breaking the law." I told him and he rolled his eyes and sat up

"You need to rest." I told him trying to push him back down

"Actually he does need to get up." I looked over to see Agent Coulson in the doorway

"We cleaned up most of the mess, we left some of appearances sake, but we've scheduled a press conference in a few hours explaining what happened." He said and I smile at him

"Thank you." I told him

"I'm just doing my job." He said giving me a small smile

"Don't smile at her like that." Tony told him and I rolled my eyes as Rhodey chuckled

"Yeah he's ok." He said as Tony got out of the bed

"You're good at this." Tony said as I covered his bruises

"Well I got a lot of experience in this department." I told him and he frowned I looked at the T.V. Rhodey kicked off the press conference explaining that the explosion was just an accident

"Do you ever think about him?" He asked and I shrugged

"Not really, sometimes he was my first everything basically and it wasn't always bad." I said and he nodded then went back to reading the paper article about him the press dub him 'Iron Man' and he was eating it up

"Hold still." I told him

"You they could at least get it right that the suit is gold titanium alloy."

"How dare they?" I gasped

"Here's your alibi." Agent Coulson said handing him a stack of flashcards to read

"You were on your yacht all night, we got your port papers that put you in Avalon all night, and sworn statements from your 50 guests."

"See I was think we could just say it was just Gianna and me." He smirked at me and I ripped the bandage off his nose, he frown I smiled sweetly as I made sure the cut on his nose wasn't visible

"Just read the statement word for word." Coulson told him

"Ok." He said then flipped through the cards

"There nothing about Stein here." Tony said

"That's being handled, he's on vacation and those small planes have such a poor safety record.'

"But I don't like the bodyguard part that kind of sucks."

"Just read the cards!" I told him as I double checked to make sure I didn't miss anything

"You're not the boss of me.' He said sticking his tongue out, and I did it back

"Play nice children, Mr. Stark you have 90 seconds." He told him then he turned to leave but I stopped him

"Agent Coulson, I just want to thank you for everything, this all would've been a disaster without you."

"It's what we do, but like you said you can handle yourself very well."

"I try."

"Well you'll be hearing from us."

"From the Strategic, Homeland, I-"

"Just call us S.H.I.E.L.D." He said and I nodded with a smile as he walked away then I turned to Tony who was frowning at me

"Let's get this show on the road." I said grabbing his suit jacket

"You know this is not that bad even I don't think I'm Iron Man."

"You're not Iron Man."

"Am so."

"You're not. This isn't going to be a thing." I said helping him into his jacket

"Alright suit yourself." He said turned to face me

"But you know if I were Iron Man, I'd have is girlfriend who is almost but not quite as smart as me and who knew my true identity." He said looking down at me

"Is that right?"

"Yeah and she'd worry about me all the time, but she would still be proud of the man I'd become."

"Hmm." I said as I fixed his pocket square

"Tell me you never think about that night," He said and I froze

"What night?' I asked playing dumb but he placed his hands on my hips and pulled me closer and I looked into those brown eyes I've come to love

'You know what night."

"You mean the night we danced and you went to get me a drink and left me?" I asked with a smirk and he nodded I felt his thumb slowly moving against my side then he presses his lips to mine, I kissed back placing a hand on his cheek. This kiss was everything I dreamed it was be his lips fit perfectly against mine and I'm sure if he wasn't holding me my legs would've given out

he pulled me closer then someone knocked on the door we quickly pulled apart, I looked over to see Happy standing there

"You're up boss." He said looking between us with a smile

"Um will that be all Mr. Stark?'

"Yes, that will be all Ms. Teller." He turned to leave but I stopped him and I wiped the little bit of lipstick off his lips then he walked out, Happy winked at me then followed him. I took a seat trying to calm myself down as the butterflies in my stomach tried to break free. It didn't help once he took the screen

Once he started talked that little blonde tramp Christine Everheart started up he could barley get a word out. Then he started rambling about being a hero

"Stick to the cards." I said to the T.V. it was like he heard me because he picked up a card and started to read

"The truth is..." He put the card down then he looked at the press,

"No, no, no." I said to myself

"I am Iron Man."
