I was woken up the next morning by my phone ringing

"Hello?" I said picking it up without looking

"Are you still sleeping?" Tony asked

"I'm jet lagged leave me alone, why are you up so early?' I asked him as I looked at the time it wasn't even 10 am yet

"I've been up all night," He said like it was nothing

"Tony when was the last time you slept? I asked he had a bad habit of once he got started working he wouldn't stop

"About 40 hours ago."

"Tony!" I scolded

"I know, I know but listen I figured it out." He said and I sat up

"What are you talking about?" I asked him

"Arc-reactor energy, I've been using the plans you were working on and I found a way to stabilize the generator."

"What?" I said as I processed what he was saying.

"I'm sending you the information, together we should be able to figure out the kinks and get it working properly." He said and I tried to get up but I got tangled in my sheets and I tripped and fell

"Are you ok?" He asked but I could hear the humor in his voice

"Shut up," I said getting up and I ran into the living room where I left my bags

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I heard Jax say I dumped my bag and grabbed my tablet and laptop

"Not right now." I said rushing back to my room

"You've kept me on hold for over two minutes this is unacceptable."

"Give me a break." I said going through my email and I found it

"So?"

"These blueprints are amazing." I said

"Well it's your work I just tried few extra things."

"Did you try a new sub-base?'

"Yes it melted in two seconds, and before you offer any of the regular options I've tried them all. We need something stronger, that's where we work to together with your brain and my significantly bigger brain we should be able to figure something out." He said I rolled my eyes. I looked up to see Happy in my doorway I held up a finger

"What about vibranium? It's the strongest metal in the world I'm sure it could hold the reactor energy."

"Vibranium? Why didn't think of that?"

"Because I'm smarter than you." I teased

"Funny joke, I'll call you back when I get my hands on some vibranium do you think you could come out to Malibu?"

"I just got home, I want to visit with my family."

"Alright I'll call you when I get the vibranium." He said then hung up

"Your boss?" Happy asked

"Yes,"

"What did he want?"

"Work stuff,"

"He's calling you kind of early for that shit ain't he? Don't he got office hours or something?"

"He's a little eccentric, he works on his own time. Did you need something? Or are you just here to give me the third degree?"

"Gemma made breakfast and she wants you to clean up your shit in her living room." He said then walked away

"Ok." I mocked then I changed out of my shorts into some sweats and walked out into the living room and I stuffed everything back into my suitcase

"So are you going to tell us what the hell that was about?" Bobby asked and I looked at the table to see the club there

"It was just work, I had some important emails." I said

"Anything good? You sounded really excited." Mom asked

"Really good actually but I can't talk about it for legal reasons." I said walking over to the table and sitting down

"Who do you for again?" She asked putting a plate in front of me

"Stark Industries."

"Stark? As in Tony Stark the millionaire?" Tig asked

"Tony Stark the billionaire."

"Ok loan me a hundred bucks I'm behind on club dues." He said holding out his hand, and Chibs slapped him upside the head

"What she's good for it, she works for Tony Stark."

"I'm sure she's never actually met him." Mom chuckled

"Well I have he personally offered my the job, I have been working with him since my freshman year." I said

"Just working?" She asked looking me up and down

"Yes, who do you think I am?" I said

"So are you planning to kept working for him from here?" Clay asked

"Actually, I've been accepted into the Cal Tech masters program, I can get my masters and work with Tony from there." I said and she gave me look she was upset I could tell, I knew she thought I was here to stay but now I've had my taste of the world I wanted more of it.

"Well that great, it's closer than Massachusetts." Clay said and I gave him a small smile

"Yeah and I could come home on weekends and holidays." I said to her

"We can always call the Nomads to check in on her if your worried Gem." Clay said and she still didn't say anything she was pissed I could tell. I didn't want her not speaking to me for another four years so I was slowly rethinking my plans maybe I could push it back a year. So we could fix our relationship
