Magnus's pove________

It was getting dark wich means we will stop at any minute now.

I was at the same horse with Alexander, although we didn't talk I enjoyed the ride. Have the chance to get closer to him.

I noticed that he was getting a little too far from the others. Was he doing that on perpuse?

I thought that this was my chance to start a conversion with him as the others were too far to hear us.

I was about to talk to him when he said.

"Em, may I ask you something?"

He sounded a little nervous.

"Of course darling go ahead"

" Why are you so nice to me? I mean its known that you don't like shadow hunters...."

That got me off guard. It's true that I am known not to like shadow hunters which is true.But how should I put it?
.... He has unlocked something in me.

" Well, let's say that you are special."

"what is that suppose to mean?"

This time he turned his head to face me. We were some inches away from each others faces . We were breathing the same air and we were looking in eachother's eyes. Once again I was hypnotised by those gorgeous blue hazel eyes. We were getting closer and closer... When...

" Hey Alec! I think I found the perfect spot for our camp!"

It was Jace.......
One day! I will get my revenge just you wait.

Alec blushed and rushed to go there.
I almost fall from the horse but at the last moment I grabbed him into a tight hug. He blushed even more.
I smiled at the sight, he is a comenesion of cute and hot. How is that even possible!?

We catch up with the others. Alec looked at the spot and climbed down the horse  and so did I.

Alec: Okey let's prepare for the night.

Clary: What should we do?

Alec: Clary gather some wood with Jace and Izy and I can go find some food.

Magnus: I don't think you will need to do any of that.

Alec: Why not?

Magnus: I am a worlock. I can snap my fingers appear whatever I want.

I said and snapped my fingers.
A small fire appeared at the middle of the open space and a small table with food.

Then I looked at Alec who seems to be surprised.

Jace: Thank goodness I am too tired to go anywhere.

Said Jace and sat close to the fire.
Clary sat beside him.
Izy smiled and went to eat some food.
Alec didn't move. Now that it was lighter I could see the  bags under his eyes.

Alec: I am going to check the area then.

Said Alexander and disappeared in the shadows.
I turned to face the others.

Izy: Don't mind him. He is just overprotective.

Jace: Yea.

Then I took a sit next to Izy.
Some time passed and Alexander didn't seem to appear.
The others were talking but I couldn't hear them my mind was at Alexander.
Why does it take him so long?
What if he is in danger?
It's very dark what if he got lost?

" Don't worry." Said Izy and drank some water.

I looked at her surprised.
" He is strong he can deal with everything." said Izy and gave me a smile.

I turned at Clary and Jace, they were sleeping. How long have I been thinking? that I didn't even notice them falling asleep.

Izy: Magnus, I like you.

I looked at her socked.

Izy: As a friend.

I sigh in relief.

Izy: I don't care if you are a downworlder but I want make clear that if you hurt my brother I am going to came after you.

Magnus: Understandable.

Izy gave me a small smile and leaned on a tree. She yawned and said with a very low voice " Good night".

Everyone had fallen asleep. Except from me.

I start to get worried. Where is Alexander?

After some minutes I heard a clack. I turned to see what it was. It was Alexander.

Magnus: What took you so long?

Alec wasnt looking at me wich made me even more worryed .
Alec: Nothing... Just walking around.

He looked out of breath.
Then I started walking towards him.
I noticed that he was trembling a little.

Magnus: Is everything Okey?

I said consered and touched him gently at his shoulder, I made him face me slowly.

He looked like he saw a ghost or something.

Magnus: Are you Okey?

I wanted to hug him so badly. To tell him " I am here for you".....

Alec: ...... Yes, I am fine.

He said and once again he looked elsewhere.  I put my hands to his chicks and made him face me once again.

He was socked by my action.

Magnus: Say that while looking into my eyes.

Alec: I... I-I...

I smiled at him and huged him.
Unexpectedly he huged me back.
We stayed like that for a moment when I let go and grabbed his arm.
I dragged him a little further from the others.

Magnus: I know that we don't know eachother that well, almost at all. But you can talk to me.

Alec was looking down with a small blush. He sigh and sat down. I also sat down.

Alec: It's complicated.

Magnus: Well, we have plenty of time.
I said with a charming smile. He took a deep breath.

Alec: The past week I... I think I am being followed by someone. He has black hair/eyes and pale skin. I don't know him. I have seen him three times so far. First at the institute, then at your party and now when I was checking the area.

Magnus: Is that why it took you so long to return?

Alec: Yea, I was washing my face to keep myself awake at a river when I looked at my reflection. He was behind me. I turned to attack but he wasn't there, I didn't felt his presens either . Every time I see him I feel.... Scared.

Alec almost whisper the last word.

Alec: I don't know why but he makes me feel afraid. I was shaking , I didn't want the others to see me in this state so I just tryed to calm down or wait for everyone to sleep.

Alec looked sad. My heart was hurt seeing Alexander like that.

Magnus: Alexander. Thank you for opening up to me.

Alec gave me a small smile.

Magnus: We can think something -

Alec: No, we first need to finish the mission.
He said with a cold voice.

Magnus: But -

Alec: It's Okey Magnus, my mind is propably messing with me . After all I haven't slept for some days know.

Magnus's eyes went wide open. Alec hadn't  realize what he said until he saw Magnus expression.

Alec:....

Magnus: You haven't slept for... Days? 

Alec: I....

Alec didn't like mentioning the nightmare thing.

Magnus: And why is that?

Alec: I just can't sleep.

I could see in his eyes he was lieing.

Magnus: Then I am going to keep you company.

I said and went beside him.

Alec sigh. Alec layed his back against a tree and crossed his arms .

Alec: You can go sleep. I will keep an eye.

Magnus: No need to. I am not sleepy and I putted a magical barrier that doesn't allows other people or other things to get through.

Alec nodded.
Magnus then saw the rune Alec had used before.

Magnus: What does that rune do?

Said Magnus and pointed at a rune.
Magnus didn't show the rune he was really interested in. He didn't want to seem suspicious, as he was staring at him when he did it.

Alec: This rune gives me the ability to run fast.

Magnus: And that one?

This time Magnus pointed at the rune he was really interested in and leaned closer.

Alec: This is an energy rune.

Then Magnus smirked and pointed at the rune at Alec's neck.

Alec blushed and flinched a little.
( Sensitive at the neck, I see) Thought Magnus.

Alec: Em, t-this is the deflect rune.

Magnus leaned closer to Alec.
Alec looked away while blushing.

Alec: I-I think I am sleepy...

Magnus smirked even more .
(How much I want to attack him right now.) Magnus thought.

Alec: Em, may I ask you a favor?

Magnus: Whatever you want, beautiful.

Alec blushed even more.
He still wasn't used at Magnus's compliments.

Alec: If I start to... Move or talk to my sleep wake me up please .

Magnus: I would do it.

Alec: Thank you.

Magnus: But. I want something in exchange.

Alec:... Name it.

Magnus: Tell me the reason. Is it because you don't want wake up the others or there is something more into it?

Alec: It's kinda childish.

Magnus: I won't judge.

Alec:.... I see nightmares.

Magnus: What are they about?
Asked Magnus consered.

Alec: Me.... I am downing into the darkness. It's hard to move and even to breath.

Magnus: Then?

Said Magnus and took Alec's arm and started playing around with his and Alec's fingers.

Alec: I just go deeper and deeper expecting for someone to save me
But... No one appears.

Magnus: And then?

Alec: I wake up with a panic attack.

Magnus: I can be the one to save you.
Said Magnus with a low and smooth voice.

Said Magnus and leaned his head at Alec's shoulder.

Alec was socked he didn't expect to hear that.

Magnus: I once saw nightmares like yours. The nightmares that will torture you every night.
I was looking myseld as a kid standing at a dark forest all alone with blood in my hands. And my cat eyes glowing at the dark.

Alec knows about Magnus 's cat eyes. But he has never seen them.

Alec: And how did you get over it?

Magnus: I didn't. I just don't see them as often as before.

Alec: Magnus.... Can you.... Nevermind.

Magnus: Tell me darling.
Magnus wanted to spoil Alec so badly.
But Alec wasn't his to do that.... At least not yet.

Alec: It's nothing.

Magnus: Fine.... Then can I ask you something?

Alec: Go ahead.

Magnus: Why did you tell me all this. I am a downworlder after all.

Alec: Well let's say that you are special.

Magnus was surprised.

Alec: Good night.

Said Alec and turn to his side to sleep.

Magnus: Good night... Alexander.
