"We're just going to have to perform without Jimin," Taehyung tried to explain to Namjoon, Seokjin, Hoseok, and Yoongi as Jungkook stood alongside him nodding.
"He's sick," Jungkook added.
Namjoon didn't look like he wanted to believe the two in front of him, but the fact that the concert was about to happen soon didn't give him time to debate that fact with them.
"Fine, but after this you two need to tell me what is really going on. I can tell something is up."
Nodding their heads, Taehyung and Jungkook soon stilled while stylists whirled around them trying to do last minute adjustments to their makeup and outfits.

Birdie nearly flew out the back door once one of the maintenance workers told her where the chute ended up and how the bin it ended up in was due to be picked up soon. If the trash was picked up, she'd never find Jimin again and there was definitely no way to fix it then. As she rounded the back of the building, her eyes landed on the marsh green monstrosity of a bin, letting out a sigh.
'Do this for Jimin,' she thought, moving to climb up some of the metal on the outside to heft herself up over the side.
The outfit she had picked out for the concert was the last thing on her mind as she swung one leg and then another over the edge of the bin. Even though it smelled, she dropped herself into the garbage, beginning to look left and right at the mounds of garbage that surrounded her.
"Jimin!" she dared to call out softly. "Where are you?"
Not hearing a reply, panic set in more. She began to move garbage aside with her hands, looking as each pile unearthed more garbage, hoping beyond hope to see Jimin's face. The more she moved garbage and didn't see him, the more the panic built up in her which caused her eyes to mist with tears.
"I'm so sorry, Jimin," Birdie whispered. "This is all my fault. This is all..."
Her sobbed apology came to a pause when she finally stumbled across Jimin. Grabbing him, she pulled him out of the garbage he was buried under as if she was pulling the sword from the stone.
"Jimin, are you okay?"
"I'm...okay. Thanks to you."
Letting out a sob, she hugged him gently. In the venue behind her, she could hear the faint pulsing of music as the performance started. She didn't care that she was missing the BTS concert she had been waiting what felt like her whole life for. That wasn't what mattered in this moment.
"I'm so sorry...I never meant for any of this to happen, Jimin. I'm just...I'm so happy that you're okay."
Not hearing a response from him, she wondered if it was because she was hugging him too tightly. Pulling back, she looked at his face and noticed that his eyes seemed vacant and glossed over, almost like a photo.
"Jimin...Jimin, please say something! Don't tell die on me...please..."
Birdie hated to think he died, but began to panic, hugging him again as she stood in the trash bin. Birdie didn't know how much time passed as she stood there, but soon she heard the back door to the venue opening followed by the beeping of a truck. She figured that it was because the garbage was being set up to be removed. Turning her head when she heard metallic clanging against the outside, she gasped when she heard a loud 'Wait!' coming from an all too familiar voice.
"Jimin?" she said, watching as his face soon popped over the edge of the container.
His real, human face. Not cardboard. Flesh and blood.
Jimin locked his eyes on her, fixing her with a small smile.
"Come on, Birdie," he said as he held out his hand towards her. "I'm getting you out of here."
