"Okay, game plan, I'll get Jimin's body to the venue and try to buy us some time while we try to figure out where he went," Taehyung said. "Maybe along the way we'll figure out how to get him to switch back."
"And I'll try to go home and appease my father about my grandparent's visit," Birdie added, before letting out a sigh.
Taehyung looked over at Birdie, seeing the crest fallen look that came upon her face. Reaching out a hand, he placed it gently on her shoulder.
"Hey. Don't worry. We'll figure this all out...okay?"
"Okay," she said as she looked at him. "I just...I'm sorry. I feel like this is all my fault."
"This isn't your fault...if it's anyone it's mine. I gave Jimin that necklace last night. I had absolutely no idea that this would happen..."
"It's not your fault either. You were just trying to give a gift to your best friend."
Taehyung smiled then, causing Birdie's heart to do a flip in her chest. She had seen his famous boxy smile numerous times in videos on the internet, but never in real life. For whatever reason, it injected her with the spur of determination she needed to get through the day and save her bias.

Jimin had no idea where he was currently. He had tried to memorize the route his kidnapper had taken, but it was hard for him to comprehend it all. Despite the fact that she was carrying a life-sized cutout under her arm, her e-scooter whizzed about with ease and before he knew it he was at some sort of apartment building in the middle of who knew where.
Getting off her e-scooter, she carried Jimin up a flight of stairs and into her apartment. The minute he entered it, he was greeted by his own face. It was plastered over ever surface possible. Cabinets, floors, ceilings, walls...He could feel his heart pick up speed as she carried him through the apartment shalacked with him and into her bedroom. If it was possible for the interior of the bedroom to be worse, it was. There seemed to be an elevated shrine to him in there that was spilling out of her closet. Various scented candles that looked handmade that had labels like "Jimin's sweat" were lit and lighting up the faces of various pictures of him like some sort of Halloween display.
Sitting him down right at the front of the shrine, Sasayne moved to walk towards her desk. Her desk was facing it as she took a seat in the desk chair. She turned to angle the camera just so, so that it could catch her and the shrine in the background. Jimin stood there, watching as her computer came to life, bathing the room in a pale bluish glow.
"Hello world. This is Jimin's future wife, Sasayne Delulah, coming at you. I wanted to come live to show you the latest edition to my shrine."
Spinning the camera in his direction, he tried to keep his composure, wondering if Taehyung and Birdie would be able to find him and save him.

After parting ways with Taehyung, Birdie drove reluctantly back to her house. As she pulled up to the driveway, she noticed her grandparents' vehicles in the driveway. It was the same vehicle they drove back when she was a child. She was honestly surprised that it still ran well, hefting out a sigh as she parked behind them. Birdie couldn't get her mind off of how Jimin had been kidnapped. The fact that the concert she'd been waiting to go to for years being tonight wasn't even at the forefront of her mind anymore.
Digging out her phone, she went to open her Weverse app. Birdie knew that it was going to be like finding a needle in a haystack and that sending this message out would likely not help in finding him, but she had to give it a try. It was better than just sitting there.
"ARMY, I need your help. Someone has stolen my cardboard cutout of Park Jimin. I need help tracking him down. If anyone knows where he might be, please let me know. He means a lot to me and I really need him back."
Sending the message, Birdie slipped her phone away before getting out of the car and walking through the front door of the house, prepping herself internally for what she was about to face.
