Jimin wished that he could see what was going on in the store, but he was unable to from his spot in the car due to how crowded the store front window was. He could only sit there and hope that Taehyung and Birdie were getting the answers they'd need in order to fix things. As he sat there and waited what felt like an eternity for them to come back out, he noticed a woman riding a e-scooter coming down the sidewalk. She came to a stop a few feet from the car with her eyes on him. Jimin could almost see a glint in her eyes as she propped her e-scooter up and walked over to the open window.

"I was right. Look at this. A collector's edition life-size cutout of Park Jimin. Its condition is near pristine too," the woman muttered to herself as she came within steps of the window, looking him over.

Jimin didn't dare move or speak as he watched the woman study him for a moment longer before nodding.

"He needs to be a part of my shrine."

'Excuse me...what?!' Jimin thought, panicking internally as he watched the woman dig a tool out of the purse she wore to rig open the car.

He kept his gaze focused behind her, hoping that Taehyung or Birdie would come out any moment and stop the madness. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, and before Jimin could even realize it, the woman had him out of the car and tucked under her arm, riding off on her e-scooter with him.

'Well that was less than helpful,' Birdie thought as she and Taehyung left the shop and walked towards the exit after trying to talk with the woman about the situation.

She had expressed that, despite the switch happening between a real person and a cardboard cutout, the rules remained the same. In order for the switch back to happen, the desires of their heart, or their wishes, had to be fulfilled. Birdie couldn't help but to be filled with a sense of guilt as they eventually reached the door. She had wished to be happy again, but never thought this sort of thing would result from it. Right in this moment, she felt anything but happy. She felt ashamed.

The moment Birdie stepped out onto the sidewalk, a new emotion took over her though. The emotion of shock.

"Where's Jimin?" Taehyung asked as Birdie rushed towards the car.

The passenger door was slightly ajar and cardboard Jimin was no where to be seen. Both of them looked up and down the street, but couldn't find him anywhere in sight. He had vanished into thin air.

"Maybe he got the ability to walk back?" Taehyung suggested as Birdie shook her head.

"No...no I think he was stolen."

"Stolen? But who would steal a cardboard cutout? And in broad daylight no less?"

Each of them suddenly received a message on their phone then. Taehyung received a message from the group chat asking where in the heck he and Jimin were since soundcheck was about to begin shortly. Birdie's text message on the other hand was from her father asking where she was because her grandparents had just arrived. The messages caused both of them to let out a groan in unison.
