**** I DO NOT CONDONE THIS VIOLENT BEHAVIOR THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE A STORY ABOUT IDEAL OR GOOD LOVE. THEY'RE GANG MEMBERS THEY DO NOT TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY THEY SHOULD I DO NOT ROMANTICIZE THIS OR THINK IT IS OKAY BECAUSE IT IS NOT, IT'S JUST FOR THE SAKE OF THIS STORY****
"So, before anything, you should know-" Rap Monster started to speak as I walked over to a ratty couch. Not paying much mind to him - I couldn't focus, so much had happened - I sat on the couch, hoping to rest my aching body after all that happened.
Instead, I was immediately scared by a loud yell of indignation, and I jumped up to see a beautiful girl laying on the couch already.
She looked pissed, her green eyes moved to slits. She was glaring at me, and I quickly backed up with my hands up in apology.
"Fuck, I'm sorry, I didn't see you," I stammered as she stood up and started walking towards me.
"Oh, I get it, ha ha, I'm short so you didn't see me?" She said, her voice like daggers.
I looked down at her as she came up to my chest.
"You think just cause you're towering over me I'm gonna be scared, huh? Think again! I'll kick your ass for waking me up," she said, shoving me back.
I sat down, partly from the force and partly because I thought maybe if I was on the ground she'd feel tall and then maybe she'd leave me alone.
She was sneering in anger, but even with her death-dagger eyes, she looked cute. She had dimple piercings that made it look like she was perpetually smiling at you. Her collarbone piercings made a stark contrast between her pale skin.
"Aish, I said I was sorry," I muttered, not daring to look up at her.
There was a sound of struggling, and I looked up to see the girl being tugged away by a boy with mint hair that wasn't much taller than her.
"She's not usually this aggressive, but you woke her up and she hates that," Rap Monster explained, and I glared at him. He held a hand out to me, as if he was going to help me up.
"Could have told me that before, now she probably hates me," I grumbled, ignoring his offered hand, getting up and dusting my pants off. This wasn't the cleanest establishment I've been in....
"Well, I was trying," he said, shrugging and walking away. I huffed a little, looking to a silent Levi next to me. She didn't talk much; ever since all that had happened, she hadn't said a word. Maybe she was in shock. I wouldn't blame her, today had been hellish.
I sighed, scratching my neck and grimacing when I felt sweat pooling at the base of it.
I shrugged off my leather jacket, letting it drop from my shoulders. I hadn't even gotten it all the way off when I heard a commotion.
"Yah! Namjoon, who did you bring home?" I heard the girl's voice yelling, and I looked up to see Mint hair stalking towards me, and then I was grabbed from behind, my arms pinned to my body by the sleeves of my jacket.
I struggled in the makeshift straightjacket, staring at the angry eyes of 4 unfamiliar boys. If this wasn't cause for terror, I don't know what would be.
"Hey, what are you-" I was interrupted with a shuddering, and then the crowd parted to allow Rap Monster through. He towered over me, grabbing my chin to force me to look up into his eyes.
"I'm going to ask you this once. What gang were you in?" He said in a low, intimidating voice. His pink hair and dimples did nothing to lessen the dangerous aura he was putting off.
"What are you talking about, I don't-" I was interrupted again, this time from someone shaking me, my body flailing like a punching bag that was hit full power.
"The tattoos, you can't lie. Now tell me, who! Did someone send you?" Rap Monster said, glaring down at me.
"I- what? Tattoos? I'm not in a gang, come on!" I yelled, scared beyond my wits, but I didn't want to show that.
"Yah, wait guys. Isn't she american?" The girls voice piped up from behind the crowd of boys who wanted to eat me like I was a sole gazelle that had walked into a pack of lions.
"You need glasses, come on, she's clearly asian" a boy said, sneering and glaring at me.
"No! No! I'm Korean - American, I've lived in America my whole life, my tattoos are for showing my creative passion, I'm not in a gang! For God's sake, if I was in a gang I would've kept my damn jacket on," I yelled, struggling against all the boys.
I could hardly see a quiet Levi huddling into the wall, fear clear in her eyes. There was a boy holding her arm, as if she had tried to fight and was being guarded now.
"Hah! Namjoon, you picked a good one. I like her, she has a point," the girl said, and I huffed, glaring at the Mint haired boy squeezing my arms tight.
"True.... I guess it wouldn't make sense for her to be so careless if she was in a gang..." Rap Monster said, turning to me, "though if you are, we'll kill you."
Rap Monster seemed like the obvious choice to head this gang. He had the charms, the wits, and all the right tactics to intimidate.
"I don't doubt it. Can you tell your dogs to let go of me now?" I snarled, glaring and wincing backwards as Mint hair bared his teeth at me, clenching his jaw.
"Guys, let her go," Rap Monster said carelessly, turning his back on me. So I was right, he was the leader.
I sighed in relief as I felt them release me, the one behind me loosening his grip on my sleeves just enough for me to break free and untangle them. I wrapped the jacket around my waist, rubbing my sore arms and glaring down at the angry red marks from where the sleeves pinched my skin.
The girl came up to me, nudging my shoulder before walking over to the couch. I followed her, sighing in relief when I felt Levi fall into step next to me.
"I like you. I figure if you don't wake me up again, we'll get along just fine," the girl said, grinning to me cheekily.
I smiled back unsurely, looking her over.
She had full sleeves, tattoos covering her arms, and I realized that she must have been in plenty of gangs, that or she had been in this one for years, because it must have taken forever to get all of them.
She grabbed my hand, rubbing her thumbs against it. I jumped a little in surprise, but her warm hands soon felt comforting.
Her short short's left little to the imagination, showing her curvy waist perfectly, while also showing off her healthy, pale legs. Her black tee only emphasized her pretty pale complexion.
"Whenever you're done checking me out..." she said, smirking at me. I blushed, biting my lip in embarrasssment.
"I'm so glad you're here, it's so boring with all these testosterone thugs," she spoke easily, like we were already best friends. Completely different from our first meeting, she was warm and kind, acting towards me like she cared about my wellbeing.
"Oh please Star, you and Suga definitely find ways to distract you from the boring," one of the boys teased, and the girl snorted.
"Yah. Whatever, you're just jealous," she said, winking at me and chuckling.
I smiled slightly, leaning back into the couch cushion and closing my eyes, feeling Levi's familiar hand on my thigh, along with Star's warm hand enveloping mine, her slender fingers lightly touching my knee.
They seemed like a family. Could I be in it?
