11. Vibes
A few mystery drinks in, compliments of Star, and I had forgotten about the mystery Jin.
The music was still pounding, though everyone had long since stopped dancing, instead laying around in various piles messing around.
I grabbed Star's hand, pulling her away from Suga and dragging her to the empty space in front of the speakers.
"DANCE WITH ME," I yelled over the music, grabbing her hips and moving her back and forth, grinning.
She shoved my hands off, and began dancing a lot better than I could make her. I grinned at her, copying her movements in a sluggish fashion.
I gave up on her dance, instead simply letting my body move in whatever ways I felt, feeling like I was freed from worries and responsibilities. Maybe the gang life wasn't so bad, I didn't have to worry about taxes or funds or laws...
J-Hope came and joined us, and soon I was dancing with him while Star tried to pull Suga off of his butt to dance with her.
J-Hope was making crazy faces that distracted me, making me sputter and laugh as I watched his flawless movements. I was clumsy and awkward but he, he was dancing like he was born to do it, his hips moving perfectly to the beat of the music.
Noticing my absurd moves, J-Hope yelled excitedly and began dancing less like a professional and more like a gleeful drunk.

Jimin came over to us, clearly wanting in on the action, and then I was jumping around them as they danced in sync with each other, as if they had practiced this many times.
I was too drunk on the moment to care, so I just started running around them, throwing my arms up into the air and jumping, kicking my legs out and rolling my hips.
I felt hands on my waist, and I leaned back into the person, turning my head to see Namjoon staring down at me.
"You're a mess," he said, a cocky smirk on his face. I pouted, digging my shoulders into his chest, pushing away from him.
"At least I'm dancing, let's see what you've got," I challenged, grinning when I saw that Star had succeeded in getting Suga up, and she was now dancing with him, though it looked like she was doing most of the work, Suga simply leaning on her while she moved enough for the both of him, dragging Suga along with her.
Namjoon grinned at me, a goofy look replacing his arrogant face from before.
He started dancing, in ways I couldn't even explain. It looked like his body parts weren't connected, as there was so much going on, his legs and his arms moving in different motions. The best part was his face, as it was constantly shifting with different emotions, so fast I couldn't even recognize it before the next look came up.
My face cracked into a grin and then I was letting out loud, rumbling laughs that shook my body and I leaned over to clutch my stomach, unwittingly sending myself hurtling forward, losing my balance.
I reached my arms out, grabbing Namjoon's wrists in mine and letting my body clash into his.
"You're a mess," I told him, grinning widely.
He nodded, licking his lips and grinning at me.
"But you are too," he said, and I nodded, laughing and leaning my forehead against his chest.
I let go of his wrists, and he wrapped his arms around my waist, keeping me steady while I silently laughed into his warm chest.
I felt people's eyes on us, but I ignored it, keeping my face nestled against Namjoon to hide the happy grin currently taking over my face.
I opened my mouth to speak and then decided against it, instead reaching my hands up to tousle in his hair. I pulled my face back and grinned up at him, patting his cheek before pulling away from him.
I spotted Angel and Jungkook sitting on the couch, and I ran over, tripping over my feet and nearly falling on them.
They looked at me in surprise, and I grinned, grabbing both of their hands to pull them up and over to everyone else.
I took their hands and pressed them together before letting go, grinning approvingly when they began to dance. Although Jungkook was a blushing mess, he soon got used to the feeling and then he was spinning Angel around and dancing easily.
I caught Angel's eye and sent her a quick wink before turning and seeing V beside me, doing a silly dance with his hands, his face looking bored before pulling into a face of disgust. He caught me watching and his face contorted into an embarrassed smile, a light laugh barely reaching my ears through the music.
He gave me another smile, more genuine this time, before he turned and ran to Jimin and J-Hope, copying their dances easier than I'd imagine.
I felt someone grab my hand, and I turned to see a frazzled Star, grinning at me. I saw that Suga had returned to his position on the couch.
Star grabbed my hands and began dancing to a simple couple dance. I tripped over my feet a few times, and stepped on hers more than once as I followed along with her. Eventually I got it, and began to dance in step with her.
Just as I got used to it, a badly recorded song came on, and everyone immediately stood up, screaming and jumping in excitement. Star ran over to Suga, tugging on his arm and leaning into him like she was whispering to him.
I looked around, confused, before Namjoon strolled up next to me, clapping me on the back and grinning.
The low quality of the recording did nothing to hide the quality of the song, and soon I was listening to a familiar voice rapping.
Namjoon?
This must be a recording from a performance at the Underground, as I could hear fans screams overpowering the music at times.
There were unfamiliar voices after Namjoon's verses ended, and I wondered if it might be someone in this room, screaming and waving their arms around in the air.
V was losing his shit, screaming along with the song and bouncing his arm erratically in what should have been a steady bounce to the beat.
Staring over at Angel and Jungkook, who were still dancing despite everyone else being distracted to the point of having a seizure with all the energy they had, I smiled softly, my heart feeling warm at the sight.
Suga and Star were bouncing up and down, and I chuckled at their overly excited, overly adorable faces.
J-Hope and Jimin were dancing along with the fast paced beat, and I wondered if they would ever stop impressing me with their talents.
Finally my eyes slid up to Namjoon, who was already staring down at me. I gave him an approving nod, and he grinned, his dimples sending me into an overload of feelings.
I tore my eyes away before I did anything embarrassing, but I couldn't resist leaning against him as I stared at everyone. Already it felt like these people were my friends, maybe even a family.
