Weeks after surviving Dark Ace's massacre of the Storm Hawks, Interceptor throws himself to finding the Cyclonian Syndicate and bring them to justice for their crimes. But while doing that, he raises his 13 year old sister sister Starling who has dreams of becoming a hero. In their house, Starling runs up to Interceptor.

Starling: Big Brother! Will you help me train my Quirk?!

Interceptor smiles as he hugs his little sister. He then pats her on the head.

Interceptor: Sorry Starling, maybe next time!

Starling: You always say that!

Interceptor: No rest for heros I'm afraid. You'll learn that once you get into UA!

Starling briefly pouted, but then hugged her brother as he went out on patrol. As he patrolled, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to happen. As he patrolled on his skimmer, he heard a cry for help.

Citizen: HELP! HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Interceptor then follows the screams into an abandoned apartment complex. Once he gets inside, he searches for citizen in trouble.

Interceptor: Hello?! I'm here to help! You can come out now!

But as Interceptor said that, a Raptor walks out of a corner with a recording device in his hand. He presses a button on it.

Recording Device: HELP! HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

As the recording ended, more Raptors began to crowd around Interceptor while armed with various weapons. Interceptor prepared his Energy Blast Quirk as he begins to attack. The Raptors attempt to gang up on Interceptor, but Interceptor holds his own.

Interceptor: Is that all you got?!

But as the Raptors prepared to attack Interceptor, Repton stopped them.

Repton: STOP!

Interceptor sees Repton as he walks towards him.

Interceptor: Repton?! What's the Raptor Gang doing here?!

Repton: You got a bounty on your head Interceptor! And I'm here to collect it!

Hearing that made Interceptor realize that the Cyclonian Syndicate was behind this attack. Or at the very least Dark Ace.

Interceptor: So Dark Ace sends the Raptor Gang to do his dirty work?! He didn't have the guts to kill me himself?!

Repton: The way he put it, you're beneath him!

Repton then arms himself with his sword as he lets out a sinister smile and a wicked chuckle. 

Repton: Nothing personal Interceptor! Just business! Nothing more!

Interceptor: After I take you down, I'm coming after Dark Ace and bring both him and the entire Cyclonian Syndicate down! 

Repton: Fight well Interceptor! Fight for your life!

Repton then charged at Interceptor while he shoots Energy Blasts at the Raptor, but he dodges them and lands a slash at his chest. Repton then begins slashing at Interceptor, but he dodges it. As the fight dragged on, Interceptor began to feel fatigued as Repton seemingly played with the Sky Knight Hero. 

Repton: You've put up worthy fight Interceptor, but now it's time to collect the bounty!

Meanwhile, Starling was walking home after buying groceries. As she walks, she hears the sound of battle. She follows the sound of the battle to the abandoned apartment complex. She climbed up to see Interceptor fighting Repton. 

Starling: (Big brother!)

As Interceptor put a valiant fight, Repton begins beating down on Interceptor. Seeing her big brother being beaten down by the mercenary greatly concerned her. Repton then raises his sword to the cheer of the other Raptors. Interceptor looked up to Repton as he raised his sword. His thoughts drifted to his little sister.

Interceptor: (Starling.......I'm......I'm sorry......)

Repton: Die with your head held high, Interceptor!

Repton then thrusts his sword into Interceptor's chest, fatally wounding him. Seeing this horrified Starling. She covered her mouth to keep herself from screaming in shock and terror. She then ducks below the wall to keep the Raptors from seeing her. As the Raptor's cheer, one of them smells something.

Raptor: Oi Repton! Someone's here!

Hearing that brought crippling fear to Starling as she found herself unable to move. The Raptor moved closer and closer to where Starling was. Repton moves to Interceptor's body and takes the shield bearing the symbol of the Interceptor. But before the Raptor could move in on Starling, Repton called out to the other Raptors.

Repton: Let's go! We got what we came here for! Let's get out of here before the heroes come!

As Repton and the rest of the Raptor Gang left the abandoned, Starling ran from her hiding place and to the wounded Interceptor.

Starling: Big brother! We.....we need to get you help......

Interceptor looked at his sister as he began to bleed out. As Starling tried to help him up to get him help, Interceptor moved his hand and placed it on Starling's crying face.

Interceptor: Star......Starling........don't be afraid.......

As Interceptor said that, his hand went limp as he let out his last breath and succumbed to his injuries and died. Starling tried to help her brother, but couldn't. Seeing her brother die in front of her nearly broke her. All Starling could do was call for help.

Starling: HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE! HELP! HELP!

As Starling cried for help, the Pro Hero Aizawa or better known as Eraserhead entered the building and sees a crying Starling and a dead Interceptor.

Aizawa: My God....

Starling: Please......my.....my brother........

Aizawa stopped Starling as she continued to cry over her brother. He then remembers a conversation he had with Interceptor long ago.

Interceptor(Past): If anything happens to me, I want you to look after Starling.

Aizawa(Past): It won't come to that!

Interceptor(Past): Please Shota! I don't know how long it will be until they send someone after me. But I need to know that Starling is in good hands if anything happens.

Aizawa(Past): Nothing will happen!

Interceptor(Past): Please Shota! Please.

Aizawa(Past): Fine. I'll look after Starling if anything happens, but it won't come to that!

Interceptor(Past): Thank you Shota......thank you....

Back in the present, Aizawa realizes what he must do.

Aizawa:(Interceptor........I'll look after Starling.......I promise.....)

Interceptor was now dead and Aizawa took in Starling in as she had no other family. Repton was nowhere to be found and there was no trail. For now, Repton has completed his contract from Dark Ace on Interceptor as Starling lost her big brother.
