After completing the first events of the Sports Festival, Starling and the other UA students prepare the final event of the Sports Festival. It would be a tournament of one on one fights. The matches were decided and displayed.

Match #1: Starling VS Suzy Lu

Match #2: Carver VS Dove

Match #3: Rinjinn VS Tamaki Amajiki

Match #4: Triton VS Nejire Hado

Match #5: Mirio Togata VS Billy Rex

Match #6: Harrier VS Screaming Queen

Match #7: Bullet VS Blister

Match #8: Hattori Aizen VS Ryuki Shizako

Once the matches were decided, the first match was underway as Starling and Suzy Lu offered some words towards another.

Suzy Lu: Good luck! May the best Hero win!

Starling: Don't hold back on me now!

Suzy Lu: Oh don't worry! I won't!

When the match began, Suzy Lu used her Ice Quirk to launch a powerful ice attack on Starling, but Starling uses her Energy Blast Quirk to disrupt her ice attack. Suzy Lu was impressed by the Quirk.

Suzy: Not bad! That's quite a Quirk you got there! 

Starling: Thanks! But you ain't seen the half of it!

Starling then shoots blasts of Energy towards Suzy Lu, but she uses her Ice Quirk to create walls of Ice to block her attacks. Starling then charges at her while shooting energy blasts at her. 

Suzy Lu: (What is she doing?)

Once Starling gets close, she lets out a devastating attack using her Energy Blast Quirk on Suzy Lu, sending her out of the ring. 

Present Mic(Intercom): AND STARLING WINS THE MATCH BY RING OUT!

Suzy Lu: Man that was quite a fight! Had me on my feet the entire time! Guess I should've kept a closer eye on you!

Starling: You didn't do too bad yourself!

Starling soon returned to the stands where Mirio and Nejire rushed up to congratulate her.

Nejire: That was an amazing match Starling!

Mirio: You're really showing everyone what you're capable of!

Tamaki: Um guys? The next match is about to begin.

As Tamaki said that, Carver and Dove entered the arena and prepared their fight. When the fight begin, Caver flashed a cocky smile.

Carver: Good luck Dove.

Dove: It is you who needs luck. 

As the match began, Dove activated her Bone Claw Quirk and popped up three bone claws from each of her hand. She begins charging at Carver, but he uses his Spike Quirk to shoot shards of spikes at her. Dove managed to dodge his attacks and gets a couple of slashes at him.

Carver: I see.....you're a close range fighter.

Carver then uses his Spike Quirk to cover both his arms in sharp spikes. Dove and Carver then engage in an intense fist fight. Both were able to deal blows on each other. As the match dragged on, Dove soon gained the upper hand as she began to overpower Carver. 

Dove: Now this ends!

Dove slashes at Carver's face and kicks him to the ground. Dove then pounces on him and holds her claws to Carver's throat.

Dove: The match is over. You've lost.

Carver quickly realized that he couldn't win. He could try to get Dove off of him, but she could still overpower him.

Carver: I surrender.

Present Mic(Intercom): AND THE WINNER OF THE MATCH BY FORFEIT IS DOVE!

At the stands, Starling and her friends take notice of this.

Mirio: At least Carver gave it his all! 

Tamaki: Looks like you'll be facing against Dove.

Nejire: Dove seems to be pretty strong! 

Starling took note of Dove's Quirk and fighting style. She would not underestimate Dove. Meanwhile at a household, Wren watches the Sports Festival from his home. He's overjoyed to see his granddaughter emerging victorious in her match against her opponent.

Wren: That's how you do it Dove! 

As Wren celebrates his granddaughter's victory, Repton picks the lock to Wren's house and sneaks in. As Wren watches the Sports Festival, an announcement was made on the radio in his home. 

Radio: Attacks are being reported on Hosu City by the hands of the villain group known as the Raptor Gang. Heroes not attending the Sports Festival are on the scene fighting the Raptors.

Wren: Looks like my work is never done......

Repton: It will be done soon, my friend. 

Hearing Repton's voice caught Wren off guard as the mercenary begins to attack him. Wren activates his Bone Claw and attacks Repton.

Wren: A villain? In my home? 

Repton: Nothing personal Wren. I'm just here to collect a bounty on your head. 

Wren: Good luck collecting a bounty on my head!

Repton smiled as he pulled out his sword.

Repton: Then make it a good fight Wren! 

Repton and Wren begin fighting. Despite his age, Wren was able to keep up with Reton's attacks. The fight quickly moved in Repton's favor as he began to overpower the old hero. Repton body slams Wren through the table in the living room. Wren attempts to attack Repton, but he kicks him to the ground. As Wren tries to get up, Repton slams his boot on Wren's Bone Claw, shattering them. Wren screams in pain as Repton does the same with the other hand.

Repton: They say pain is the one thing that shows strength. Strength and adversary through pain shows the bearings of a warrior. 

Wren: You........you bastard......

Repton: You fought well Wren. Not many can say that. As I said before, this wasn't personal. 

Repton then raised his sword to the downed Wren. Wren looks to the TV to see his granddaughter on the TV.

Wren: (Dove.....I'm......I'm sorry......)

Repton: The Cyclonian Syndicate sends their regards.

As Repton spoke those words, he finished Wren off with his sword. Afterwards, he contacted the other Raptors to retreat from Hosu City as his mission was complete. Before he left the house, Repton took one last look at Wren's body and felt a hint of sorrow as he left.
