After weeks of training, the Sports Festival was upon the UA students. In the locker rooms, Starling was speaking with Mirio, Nejire and Tamaki.

Mirio: This is it guys! The UA Sports Festival is upon us!

Nejire: Time to show everyone what we're made of!

Tamaki: Y.....y.....yeah......

Starling: Chin up Tamaki. This is our chance to show the world the heroes we can become! 

Tamaki blushes as he raises his head up. Nejire jumps and hugs him. Starling can't help but feel jealous about Nejire hugging Tamaki.

Starling: Um Nejire.......

But before Starling could finish, Mirio interrupted. 

Mirio: All right guys! This is our time! No matter what happens, let's give it everything we got! Even if it comes down to us facing each other, let's give it everything we got!

As Mirio said that, Starling's thoughts fell on her brother. The Sports Festival was her chance to honor her brother. After that, the class is called to walk across the Arena to the Stage. On the stage is the Pro Hero Present Mic.

Present Mic: All right every one! You're all here to show the world what you're all made of! I see Hero material in all of you! Giving the student pledge will be Mirio Togata from Class 1-A!

When Mirio was called, he walked up to the stage while Nejire and Starling cheered him on. Tamaki simply remained silent. Once Mirio got on stage, he began speaking.

Mirio: I wish each and everyone of you all luck! I'll be giving it my all and I want you all to do the same! This is our time to show the world our potential to be heroes! Give it everything you got and remember: Go Beyond! Plus Ultra!

Everyone began cheering. As Starling cheered, Carver got her attention.

Carver: That Mirio guy really knows how to give a rousing speech! I haven't seen such optimism in someone since All Might!

Starling: You're not wrong. 

Carver: I hope you trained your hardest Starling! Cause everyone else did.

Starling: Don't worry about me Carver. I didn't come all this way just to fail. I intend on winning the Sports Festival for my brother. I gotta warn you, I don't intend on holding back.

Carver smiles at Starling's determination. But as he does so, Present Mic makes an announcement. 

Present Mic: All right everyone! Now that we have the Student Pledge out of the way, let's begin the UA Sports Festival! 

All the UA students went to the starting line to begin the first event of the Sports Festival. The Event would be a three part Obstacle Course. As they waited for the event to start, Starling offered some words to her friends.

Starling: Just so you all know, I'm going to give it all I got! The Sports Festival is my chance to honor my brother! I'm not going to hold back nor do I want you all to hold back.

Mirio: That's the spirit Starling! I wish you luck!

Nejire: I just hope there's no hard feelings!

Tamaki: Y.....you don't have to apologize Nejire. It's the Sports Festival after all.....

Starling: Tamaki's right. There shouldn't be any hard feelings. We're here to compete! 

Mirio: Then may the best student win! 

As the four friends smiled on Mirio's words, they all vowed to give it their all in the Sports Festival. Meanwhile at the hideout of the Raptor Gang, Repton gathers a small group of Raptors inside his office.

Raptor Lieutenant: What's going on here Repton?

Repton: Got ourselves another job from the Cyclonian Syndicate. A simple assassination job.

Raptor Lieutenant: Another one? Hope it pays well!

Repton: Oh it will! But to make sure this goes smoothly, I want you boys to draw the attention of the Heroes away from me. Last thing I need is one of those Heroes getting in the way!

Raptor Lieutenant: Won't they be a little preoccupied with the Sports Festival?

Repton: I don't want to take any chances! Besides, the Cyclonian Syndicate wants the target dead without incident. I'd rather get this job done quickly and without incident. 

Raptor Lieutenant: So what do you want us to do boss?

Repton: I want you to go down to Hosu City and cause some mayhem. Grab the attention of any Heroes not attending the Festival. I'll contact you when the job is done.

Raptor Lieutenant: Got it boss! Let's move out!

The Raptor Lieutenant then led a group of Raptors out of the hideout to launch their attack on Hosu City to keep the Heroes away from Repton while he deals with Wren. He soon gets a call from Count Ulric.

Repton: Do you have the target's coordinates?

Count Ulric(Phone): Our informant has relayed information on Wren's location. He will be watching the Sports Festival from his home. Remember, I want it done discreetly.

Repton: Don't worry Count. I sent a few of my boys to cause some trouble in Hosu City.

Count Ulric(Phone): Good. I saw send a small squadron of Talons there to assist your men.

Repton: How mighty nice of you! I'll contact you when the job is done.

Repton then hangs the phone as he gazes upon his wall of trophies he's collected from the people he's killed. Among the trophies is Interceptor's shield. To Repton, Interceptor was his greatest fight yet. He hoped that there would come a job that would offer him a greater challenge. But for now, he had a job to do while the UA Sports Festival began.
