Chapter 4 - First Kiss

He drew his head down to me, I sucked in a breath as I stared ahead unmoving.

His breath tickling my forehead, it aroused goosebumps at the back of my neck, in puzzled state my hand shot up, I firmly placed it on his chest where I could feel his slightly erratic breathing,"Sahil, what are you-

"Your earring got tangled, here, it is out now" he said, while pulling it out which by somehow got again wound up in my hair. My earlobe burned where he touched, I looked down at my lap expected him to step away now that he got it out. Instead he stayed near challenging my heartbeats, "what did you think Serra, that I am gonna hurt you?"

I looked up through my lashed catching the amusement in his voice, "I-I-I I I" I closed my mouth, embarrassed at my pathetic gaping like some fish.
He smiled teasingly still not moving, glanced where my hand was placed on his chest. I withdrew it back, on realising, he laughed lowly at my reaction.

I cleared my throat, felt my neck prickling suddenly, did I catch a fewer? "Sahil you are invading my personal space" I said, shifting back on the bed to get some space between us.

"You didn't mind it, before" He said, his sharp eyes shone as he covered the distance that I made, smoothly.

"That- th-at was different.." I reasoned, breaking the eye contact looking for a way to get him off me.

It really didn't take time for the tables to turn.

"Double standards?huh?" He asked placing his hand on the bed blocking the way where I was looking which was at the door(door+ Serra shippers raise your hands 😂), wishing I was magically near it or basically outta it.

Unwillingly, I had to look at him the nearer he came, the more unsure I became about my restraining ability.

When there was not much gap between our faces barely a paper thin gap, my breathing and uncontrolled beating of my heart the only sound in the room could be make out. His body told he was calm and unfazed while his eyes were dancing with glee and lips held in that annoying half smile seeing me squirm.

He was so enjoying it and I don't know for how long I can hold on to this battle of whatever was going on.

"Okay, Sahil what do you want?" I asked, painfully and stupidly doing the mistake of looking down at his lips when his smile broadened. I snapped them up.
He raised his brow,"what do I want? Well it depends on you"

"Of course, it depends on me!" I said sarcastically.

"Glad to see, you didn't lose your sarcasm" he said grinning more, if it was possible.

"Cut it out, tell me what do you want?" I snapped, turning to get up and move away from left, he instantly brought his right arm down too, now caging me completely with his big body, "not so fast" he said, above me.

My eyes widened staring up at him. In this position I don't know what I will agree on to.
"This isn't funny anymore" I whispered because that's all voice I could manage out.

"You are right, this is very serious Serra, maybe through this, you will understand not to mess with winners" he paused looking at me,smugly "you always, end down"

I narrowed my eyes at him,"what did you say" I lifted my head purposely banging my forehead with his.
"Ow" he shuffled back holding it with his hand, his face twisted in pain, I could get it because headbutting was a two way road, it hurt me as badly as it did to him.

"Sheesh..." I groaned rubbing mine, though I didn't miss the sound when the door opened.

"Oh wow...., what do we have here? Omg... My not so very innocent eyes!"

My hand dropped in shock, I peeped over Sahil's shoulder who froze too on hearing his sister's voice. I scrambled up to get up startling Sahil, his hand slipped and he toppled over me. Wonderful

I fell hard on my bed with Sahil's warm body covering mine and his lips pressed to mine - I stopped working with the realisation of what had happened, it was approx some two seconds contact then it was broken haphazardly with equally shocked Sahil, staring in daze down at me, he grew concerned when I remained like a stone statue.

And this way?

"Serra, Serra are you alright? Oh shit why are you not moving" Sahil cupped my cheeks lightly nudging me.

I blinked focusing on him because I felt like I blackout for a moment, that could have been the best but now turned worst moment and when reality dawn I pushed him away knocking the cap off from his head making Divyanshi burst into laughter and I shot up, rushing to the bathroom for refuge.

Next morning, I woke up with bloodshot eyes with barely awakened body. This was weird when you didn't sleep a wink yet you feel so restless as if you slept all day or it was only me?
Somehow, I got myself dressed and ready for the journey to home. The dreadful ride with the boys of course they planned to make it a road trip or whatever but I knew better, the real motive was, to make sure Serra, doesn't runaway. Anyway I was too sleepy, out of mind, lacking my first kiss, to plan a runaway.

"You don't need to hide your lying face in the bathroom Serra, it's alright I don't mind,"Divyanshi said from her side of the room.

I was looking in the mirror then put it down after not recognising the person in it.

I glanced at her way,"what are you saying?" I asked acting dumb. Maybe if we didn't talk about it we can make it not happen.

But Divyanshi was Divyanshi,
"I saw you were pretty shook up after getting caught on hooking up with my brother-

"For Einstein's sake! I wasn't hooking up" I cut Divyanshi off, annoyed now and also fully awake.

She gave me a blank which is not believing you at all look and you are still hiding it, I find it funny, look.

Damn, when did I care about the truth, the girl who always speaks lies suddenly wanted everybody to understand the truth.

"Gee, Serra I am not angry with you rather I am relieved," Divyanshi spoke.

I didn't bother to ask her to elaborate more, grumping I dragged my luggage out of my dorm room and I tripped on something. Great... What a mess I was today. I looked down to see the culprit, it was a green bag with peppy pink small hearts on it. Just that, was required to brighten my day.

I bent down to get what the heck was it? The possibility was making me giddy and that I can say was due to sleep deprived. I really acted weird then.

I picked it feeling several eyes from the hallway, the girls passing by one of them have to be Nadia. She scorned at me, I turned around and was face to with another ordeal, Divyanshi snatched the small bag and peeped in it rudely and invading, just like her brother.

Divyanshi said.
"oh it's my brother again, now you guys are totally hooking up- "
I glared.

She zipped her lips with a knowing grin,"your secret is saved with me, by the way thanks for shaving my brother's head that was incredible, I could never think of that way. Remind me to treat you for that" with that she left after handing me the bag and patting my back.

I sighed, looking down at the bag and the contents in it. I picked the green note.

Good morning, Sunshine

This is to remind you about yesterday you know... it ain't over ;)

There was a Slytherin cap.

Since I took yours, I will give you mine
Time to switch up our roles, I guess?

No kidding, there. Anyway, I put it on because it would be disrespectful as a potterhead, I can't discard it.

"No-one told me about our dresscode? Harry Potter theme seriously! I should've put on my Hufflepuff cap" Faisa said amused, looking from Sahil who had my cap on and then me, I had his cap on.
Faisal and Divyanshi stood between us. I could feel Sahil looking at my way while I continued staring down at my converse trying to hide my red cheeks. More reason added to the list to speed up the revenge plan.

"And this reminds me of Dhruv Bhaiya! He didn't return back my Ravenclaw cap and this also reminds me what are you doing here Mr. Faisu? Don't tell me suddenly you also wanted to drop a year and waste it here, like what's up with you guys? aren't you all being a bit unambitious and lazy?" Divyanshi asked in disbelief she was shocked to see Faisal when he came to where we were gathered around the parking area to leave.

Faisal smiled carelessly, "one year is better than many upcoming years"

Divyanshi squinted trying to understand,"what's this now a puzzle to solve? You have always been so ambiguous.. anyway bhaiya! Dhruv bro is coming too?" She shook Sahil by his arm to say something. I glanced at him for the answer. It's been almost an hour and there was no signs of Dhruv, I am not even surprised that he was late and making us wait for him.

After saying goodbyes to my friends and wishing them well, I came here right instant to leave as soon as possible. I dreaded these holidays but somehow I was excited too which was very odd.

Definitely, sleep deprived

I would miss Zoya and Ehaan so much thinking of Zoya we just resolved our last misunderstanding which was of course caused by Sahil, but anyway I made a promise to myself when I return back I will be a better friend and tell them everything.

Sahil scoffed adjusting his cap, no one could say that cap was there to hide his hilarious haircut, don't know what he did with it? Turned bald that would have been the best option, yet I hope so not. I worked hard on it, I smiled then covered it with my hand when Faisal gave me a weird look.

Our heads snapped when a red- black sports car entered dramatically,I rolled my eyes guessing who it was. It parked smoothly aligning with the two already parked cars، one was yellow Toyota of Faisal another was Sahil's black Audi and now came the extravagant sports car. So like their personalities.

The door opened upwards and Dhruv stepped out in sunglasses, he stretched his arms purposely giving full view to his model body.

I shook my head this was sadly so cliche that I turned my head until the other door opened and a girl came out, gracefully in that familiar navy blue blazer.

She looked up flicking her hair back, I think I know her.

She walked towards us with Dhruv. They both looked like models out of a magazine.

Faisal low whistled then burst into laughter looking at Sahil's expression, he was paled, "your girlfriend is here I invited her, you are so welcome dude! Hey Soumya so you did come girl!" He shouted in greeting. Soumya smiled at his way then noticed us too, her smile faltered when she spotted Divyanshi.

Divyanshi growled, "what the fuck is Cinderella doing here!"

At least, I wasn't the only unhappy one here with our new arrival.
