"shawn! someone's at the door!" i yell through the house, not getting up from the couch.

"can't you get it?" shawn yells back, from somewhere in the house.

"no i just had an organ out three days ago!" i shout back, concentrating back onto the television.

"coming!" shawn gives in, running down the stairs, walking past me and sending me a wink, before walking to the front door, and opening it, revealing brian. "oh hey man, you're early."

"yeah i know," brian snorts, walking in, and shutting the door behind him. "how's anya been bossing you around?" brian and shawn come into training lounge, brian smirking at me and shawn rolling his eyes, coming to sit next to me.

"she doesn't boss me around, she's ill." shawn wraps an arm around me, pulling me to his chest. "isn't that right, baby?"

"well i do like a personal butler." i shrug, as brian lets out a laugh.

"told you, man." brian says to shawn, all of us sharing a laugh. "how are you feeling, anya?"

"a little pain, but that's just because they cut me open. other than that, i'm fine." i shrug, leaning my head on shawns shoulder, sighing softly.

"brian, do you want a drink or anything?" shawn asks, letting go of me and standing up from the couch.

"do you have any soda?" brian asks. "wait never mind, you do, i'll go get it." he stands up, walking past us, and straight out of the lounge.

"well okay then." shawn chuckles, sitting next to me. "do you want anything, hun?"

"cuddles with shawn?" i ask, a small smile on my face. he laughs again, nodding and pulling me into his side, as i sigh happily, leaning my head on his chest.

"i need new clothes for south america, do you wanna come shopping with me?" shawn asks, rubbing my arm. "not today, tomorrow or something."

"i guess i have to start getting up and going out." i shrug. "but shawn, you're gonna get the same grey long sleeve and black jeans." i point out, as he rolls his eyes.

"i'll get a black one then, and grey jeans." he swaps around, making me roll my eyes.

"you already have like twenty black long sleeves, and three pairs of grey jeans." i point out again.

"do you want me to get back into the khakis and h&m t-shirts then?" shawn chuckles, putting his feet up on the footrest.

"i do like guys who wear khakis sometimes." i smirk at him. "you'll look like little shawn again."

"i was tall for a 15, 16 year old, shut up anya." he chuckles, his chest vibrating. "what do you want for dinner?"

"pasta?" i suggest. "i'll make it."

"you're not making it, you're resting." shawn says to me, as i sigh, shaking my head.

"i have to get up and start walking around at some stage, and don't give me that shit card of how i got discharged this morning so i still have to rest." i say in a breath. "honestly, it's just cooking pasta."

"alright." shawn mumbles quietly, sighing and taking his arm from around me, standing up. "i'm gonna see what brian's up to, is it okay if we go to the studio downstairs?"

"yeah, i'm fine alone." i shrug. "shawn why- never mind." i quickly say, sinking into the couch.

"brian will be leaving at around six." shawn tells me, walking out of the room, and not turning around to look at me.

what the hell did i say this time? sighing, and deciding to ask shawn about it later, i lean my head on the couch arm, shutting my eyes and falling into a slumber.
-
i wake up again at around 5pm. i sit up, yawning and rubbing my eyes, wincing in a slight, uncomfortable pain. i reach for my glass of water and painkillers, popping two pills out of the package, and swallowing them with some of the water. standing up slowly, i stretch out my legs, rubbing my hands over my abdomen, sighing softly.

i walk out of the lounge, reaching the hallway, and opening the door to the studio basement, slowly hobbling down the stairs. i see shawn sitting in there, his headphones on, and his laptop on his lap, whilst he types away a few things at his main mac. a quiet buzz of music runs through the room, and i quickly hobble up behind him.

"shawn," i whisper, touching his shoulder, and linking my arms around his back, leaning down to the side of his head. he jumps slightly, taking off his headphones, and putting his laptop onto the desk, smiling sadly.

"oh hey." he mumbles softly, rubbing my arms.

"did i say anything back upstairs?" i bite my lip, as shawn sighs, pulling me to his lap, letting me sit down.

"i was overreacting, i know that you should be getting your independence back, it's just i still want to do things for you." he says to me. "i'm sorry if i made you think i was annoyed at you."

"it's okay," i shrug. "what are you doing down here? did brian leave?"

"he left about twenty minutes ago." shawn says to me, pressing a kiss to the side of my neck. "i'm making music, do you wanna hear some of it?"

"ooh, yes please." i beam, as shawn slips the headphones over my ears, picking his laptop back up again, and placing it on my lap again.

immediately, i'm blasted with the sound of shawns voice, and i can't help but smile. his voice is so calming, yet so raw and passionate, and i can't help but to fall in love immediately. the twenty seconds that shawns finished editing end, and i slide the headphones off my ears, putting them back onto the table in front of me.

"wow shawn." i smile, turning to him and cupping one of his cheeks. "it's amazing, i already love it." he blushes softly, shutting his eyes and opening them again, sending me a small smile.

"i've really missed you over the past few months." he whispers, rubbing my arms with his hands.

"i've missed you too, shawn, so much." i mumble back.

"you know the moment something happened to me, all i wanted to do was to tell you." he whispers again. "anya rose steinburg, you will forever have my heart." he leans forward, placing his lips on my forehead, letting them tingle there for a while.

"come on, lets go up so i can cook us some dinner." i stand up from his lap carefully, sighing and stretching my back lightly.

shawn chuckles, lifting me up swiftly, and taking me back up to the kitchen.

i truly am glad that we are back together.

also i'm not really sure what to do with this book right now and i'm becoming really busy with work, school and applications, so should i get to a point where i will finish it completely or get to the end of a point but stretch out the book through loads of different points in their lives as bonus chapters and update really slowly (and i mean slowly, like one every two months or something like that), comment your thoughts!!
