Sigh!!

It was a perfect day, my fav day of the week.

'Sunday' it's a day when I don't have to deal with any kind of crap like school and people…

This is the day when I can finally relax. Then why I'm here at Lisa's house listening to her going on about her student life.

Actually it was better to just ignore her call when she called on my phone this morning. It was a mistake to just answer without even looking who's on the other side. I will mark this as one of the top 5 mistakes that I made in my life and please someone tell me how the hell she has my number.

Shawn...shawn, are you listening?

I guess she saw my frustration right through my face.

What's with that grin on her face. Her expression is like that of a small kind caught stealing cookies from the jar.. well to be honest it is kind of cute.

Listen,  I am here because you called me and said that teach wants me to start teaching you from today, but why today. It's Sunday.

Actually there's a wedding that I need to attend tomorrow, so you know that why…

 And I have to sacrifice my previous Sunday so that you can go to someone's wonderful wedding... great...what now. I'm here.

Clearly she can see that I'm not in a good mood right now. And that's my intention.

But that face, why am I so weak against that.

I got less than 16 on physics and computer programming.  

How did you got into this College anyway…

Seriously with these kinds of grades she will be thrown out of the college before the end of the semester.

Listen idiot ,  I am gonna whip you into the  shape for  the next exams. You better be prepared.

Huh! are you sure about that? I don't think you want to spend your precious time teaching a failure like me.

Yeah but it's a price I have to pay for my freedom. Anyway what about the other subject in which you scored better than maths.

Oh!! I actually got 95 on that .

That explains why you are still hanging around the school.

I replied in a sarcastic tone.

Okay then let's start with maths.

In about 1 hour, I tried to drill the basics into her head. I was surprised how quickly she gasped all that but it's good. I don't have to put much work in teaching her.

After an hour of  that struggle I was finally free .

So, I ask for my leave but she was like

"What about the other subject"

I replied that I will teach her the other subject later.

Afterall one hour is the maximum I can tolerate her.

Don't get me wrong it's not like I can hate her. It's just that...her continuous talk , at maximum I can only listen to that for one hour.  She... you know, too much of a chatter . Anyway, it's about time that I take my leave.

Is there something...that you did not understand?

This is why I can't tolerate her.

It's surprising that her home is just a 10 min walk from mine and there is a market in the middle. I think it's better for me to buy ingredients for today's lunch.

But, what should I make?

Something with a lot of cheese would be good. While walking to the market all I can think about is cheese. Is it normal for a boy to have thoughts like that.

I think it's better to just search the dish on internet.

Mac and cheese sandwich with braised short ribs sounds nice.

Umm.. the recipe seems easy...as well ok. So, today's lunch will be this cheese sandwich with long ass name.

Okay let's see, I need mac, I think I have some leftovers in the fridge. So, that leave cheese, ribs and arugule with lemon and parsley dressing , basically means some tangy salad.

After buying all this it's time to go home.

After I reached home I followed the recipe and made whatever called cheese sandwich. It was not perfect but it was delicious. The juicy flavour of cheese and ribs along with mac and not to forget that tangy salad. It was soo good that I considered making it daily for lunch but that would be too much. So I dropped that idea to the never visiting room of my mind.

After that comes revision of the subjects and then 1 hour of nap. So, work hard me.

After that sweet afternoon nap. While I was looking at the sunset. I saw some girls about my age arguing about something. Seems like they are forcing one of the girl to jump into the canal. Yeah,  there's a  canal just beside my apartment building.

After looking closely I realised that the girl they are forcing to jump is lisa.

After that I rushed to where they were as I remembered Lisa mentioning that she don't know how to swim during her long talk about school life. But, before I could reach there it was already late. Lisa already jumped down in the canal and all I can see is the other girls leaving.

 I heard them talking that they were just playing pranks on her but she actually jumped. 

I didn't had time to give them the taste of my foot...saving Lisa was my priority.

I jumped straight into the canal without thinking anything. All I can see is that I want to save her…

She was there struggling to not drown but it was like all in vain. It was like the water itself is pulling her deeper and deeper. It was a combat where water clearly had an advantage over her. By the time I reached her we were already at the bottom. 

I quickly grabbed her and pulled her towards me and somehow I managed to escape the grasp of water. I laid her on the ground. Checked her breath, only to find out that she isn't breathing. I gave her chest compression and then rescue breaths. It was like, all my luck was used at that time and then she came back. She was conscious now but a little afraid. She was shivering but I am glad I was there to save her.

 I took her to the hospital and gave the reason that I don't know how she ended up falling into the canal, when I was asked how she ended up there. I clearly don't know what was wrong with those girls. But next time I see them, I don't know how I'm gonna behave

After that I took her to her home.

It's better if  I visit her tomorrow. I still need to know what was going on.
