It's a few days later when they accidentally see each other again. It wasn't planned. It's a welcome accident, actually.
Jimin needs a break away from his boyfriend anyway. He's sure he has bruises on his neck and face, but Yoongi doesn't look at them for too long when Jimin looks up at him.
"Hey," Jimin says as Yoongi sits beside him, "It's you-"
"Yeah."
"What are you doing here?" He asks curiously, and Yoongi smiles just a little.
"I came here to be alone. But you're here, so..."
"I'm sorry," Jimin murmurs, standing. He smiles as Yoongi looks up at him, about to stop him. Yoongi raises his hand and Jimin flinches, stuttering out the rest, "I- I have to go anyway or- or else I... u- um... anyway... b- bye, Yoongi..."
Yoongi watches him go quickly. He wonders what's going on with him and why he seems so scared. He wonders what's with the bruises, the flinching. He doesn't want to get involved though, so he sighs and leaves it alone.
He doesn't stay for too long. It gets dark, and he heads back to his apartment.
On the balcony, he lights up a cigarette and looks out at the city lights. The stars aren't visible because of them. That's unfortunate.
He blows the smoke out into the cool air. It disappears in the darkness and he's left with his thoughts again.
Discarding his clothes, he takes a quick shower. He counts every visible scar on his body as a distraction, but eventually he gets out and falls into bed, not bothering with clothes since he lives alone.
He doesn't want to live anymore. He hates to actually admit it, but it's the truth, unfortunately. He's alone. He has nothing, no one to count on.
It's always like this.
