I woke up and could tell it was later in the evening.

I look beside me and see a sleeping Jaden Hossler.

It was at that moment I realized he too was in a hospital gown.

He took a bullet meant for me!

I run my hand through his blonde ended hair just thinking.

"Your awake" a younger girl maybe 16 says.

"Who are you" I ask trying to not sound rude.

"Haley, Haley Hossler Jaden's younger sister, and you must be Piper the girl he never shuts up about" she replies pulling a chair over to the side of the bed.

Hopefully all good things were said.

"Nice to meet you" I reply as she lays her head down on Jaden's arm. "Why aren't you asleep too"

"Couldn't really sleep" she replies.

"I feel ya. I'm probably gonna be up all night" I say with a small chuckle.

"He was really worried about you" she comments without picking up her head "he likes you ya know"

"Well I like him too" I reply as she chuckles slightly.

"Do you know if my brother came" I ask concerned.

" ya they are all at a hotel" Haley replies

"They" I question.

"They, Avani, Anthony, Josh, Nessa, Griffin, Quinton, and your brother. Kendall and I are already good friends. We raided the cafeteria of its green jello supply" Haley says with a small laugh.

"Sounds like my Ken Ken" I chuckle coughing uncontrollably.

"Hey just breath" Haley says standing up.

"Haley I need him off" I shout causing everyone to wake up as I scream out in panic.

"Hey hey" Jaden says grabbing hold of me getting me to look him dead in the eyes.

"Stop, your hurting me Marcus" I wimpier.

"It's me Jaden, Marcus is in jail. He . . . Piper! He can't hurt you I promise" Jaden says bringing me into his chest as I break down more.

"Who are they" I ask once I've got myself under control referring to the two older adults in the room.

"That's my mom Amy and my dad John" Jaden whispers.

"I'm sorry for freaking out. I. . . I had a flashback" I say as he just lies beside me holding me.

"It's ok. I won't let anything happen to you again. That's a promise" he whispers.

"Don't make promises you won't be able to keep" I say back, earning a look of confusion and shock. "I'm bad news Jae"

-Jaden Hossler-

The next morning rolled on up.

"Mr. Hossler you are ready to be released from the hospital, but take it easy you have a concussion" The doctor says unhooking me from everything so I could go to the bathroom and change.

"So no riding TVs on skateboards down the street, got it" Anthony jokes as I shoot him a glare and Griffin shoots one of disappointment.

The doctor looks familiar.

"Are you the doctor from the court house" I ask.

"Yeah I am. Wanted to see your cases through. I'm glad it's having a happy ending, I was worried at first with the amount of blood Piper had lost" She explains.

"Thank you for helping us" I say.

"It's my job, plus I wouldn't hear the end of it at home from my 15 year old daughter if I let two of her idols die in front of a court house when I was there testifying and could help" she comments as we all bust out laughing.

"Since Pipers still here for a while if you wanna bring her by we would love to meet her" I say as the boys nod in agreement.

"As long as Mr. Hall isn't in attendance" she comments "we don't need him teaching my Tori to shoot gun red-bulls."

We all laugh a lot before I head to the bathroom to change into the sweats, t shirt and hoodie the boys brought me.

"She'll be here after she gets off from school" Griffin says as we enter the adjoining room.

"How's my best friend" Nessa says as Piper sits up.

"Ready to get out of this place" she replies with a cough. "Quite frankly I just wanna go back home and fuck around in the warehouse and maybe design some new stuff"

The afternoon rolled by with lots of conversations and eaten cups of jello.

Then the group is interrupted by a knock on the door as the doctor and a young teen walks in.

"Hey guys this is my daughter Tori" Dr.Hill says as Tori gives everyone a hug.

"Write your address down so I can send you some stuff from the warehouse when I'm finally able to leave and get home" Piper says.

"You really don't have to" Tori says shyly.

"I want to" Piper replies as we pull up a chair and start to get to know her.

She's quite talented.

She's a sophomore at the local high school and is on the cross country, and volleyball teams.

She also dances which is pretty cool.

5 days later.

My parents had gone back to Tennessee and the boys as well as Emmy to LA last night as Piper is being released from the hospital today.

"You ready" I ask as Piper emerges from the bathroom.

"Yep. Can't wait to sleep on my own bed again" she replies as we walk out of the hospital.

Piper- I made Jaden stop at Walmart so I could get the dinosaurs for this picture before we left.

A/N I'm in really poor mental health so if I stop writing for a while I have a few chapters saved so I might post those. This is also why lovly0ky doesn't have here cover yet for her second book.  When my mental health goes to shit I have no motivation to do pretty much anything. But writing this is helping cause I get a good laugh outta all the stupid shit I have the characters do. Anyway that's a little life update. And yeah.
