Uraraka POV
"Hey, Cheeks. C'mon, let's go. I'm hungry." The blonde towers over my desk as I put my last book in my bag, swinging the pink backpack over my shoulder and standing up.
"Okay," I reply and intertwine our hands. Right before we leave the classroom, I feel like someone is staring us down from behind.Turning around, I see Deku, staring at our hands with an immense amount of rage.
"Deku? What's wrong?" I ask him.
"Huh? Oh. It's n-nothing..." the greenette stutters.
"Oh, ok." I cheerfully smile at him and walk away, hand in hand with my crush's enemy.
"What's his problem?" Katsuki asks me.
"I don't know," I say and turn around and see Midoriya, holding his head in his hands, looking defeated. I shrug it off and walk to lunch.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I sit down next to Katsuki with my tray of food. Katsuki puts his arm around my shoulders and nuzzles his face into my neck, which tickles. I giggle and squirm around. He laughs into my neck, causing it to tickle even more.
"Stop! Ahah Kat- Katsuki stop!!" I laugh and try to push him away. He stops and I try to catch my breath, but before I can, Katsuki's rough hand grabs the side of my face and presses his soft lips against my cheek. I feel my face heat up and I giggle a little. Katsuki smiles a little, his face tinted a light shade of pink.
Mina cups her pink hands over her mouth and yells,
"Get a room!" My face turns an even deeper shade of red in response to this comment. Katsuki throws a piece of food at the pink-haired girl. Muttering curse words under his breath, the blonde pulls me closer to him.
"Hey, um... Uraraka?" A familiar voice calls me from behind. I turn around to a pair of emerald eyes staring back at me. The normally bright and clear eyes I'm used to, are now dull and seemingly emotionless. Although I can tell that Midoriya is drowning in a whirlpool of emotions.
"Hmm? Oh. What's up Deku?" I ask the greenette. The freckles on his soft face are now accompanied by dark circles. The boy that seemed to always have a smile plastered on his face now looks broken and sad.
"Could I talk to you?" He weakly asks.
"Yeah of course! What's up?"
"In... Private."
"Okay," I reply. I get up and follow Midoriya. He walks us just outside of the cafeteria.
"I-" Midoriya starts.
"What's wrong?" I ask with genuine concern, "You've been acting off. Are you okay? Are you sick?"
"No it's just-" I stay quiet and let him talk, "I'm worried for you Uraraka. Like, what if Kacchan hurts you? I wouldn't trust him if I were you. I wouldn't even be dating him. He's gonna hurt you, Uraraka. It's in his nature."
I'm taken aback by his harshness.
"I thought you would understand, Deku. But it's clear you just don't understand. Katsuki is actually a really sweet guy, I thought you would know since you guys were childhood friends, but I guess you just have a one-track mind. I'll let you think over it. Stop throwing a fit and maybe try to understand why he makes me happy." I feel tears stinging my eyes and I bite my lip to force the tears back.
Walking back to the table, Katsuki notices my glassy eyes and immediately gets territorial.
"Ochako? What's wrong? Why are you crying? What did that bastard say to you?"
He doesn't even let me respond before he gets up and sits me down in his seat. Katsuki storms off to go confront Deku.
"What's wrong, Ochako?" Mina asks me.
"Deku told me that Kat is going to be 'abusive'." I make air quotes as I say "abusive". Mina nods and Katsuki comes back, fuming with anger.
"What did he say?" I ask the blonde next to me.
"He threatened me and said that if I hurt you, he would hurt me." He rolled his eyes and offered,
"Hey, do you want to go out and get some mochi and bubble tea later?" My mouth waters at the thought of sweets.
"I thought you didn't like sweets,"
"I don't."
"Then why are you taking me to get mochi and bubble tea?"
"To cheer you up."
I smile and respond in a childish voice,
"Aww thank you, Kitty Kat." I wrap my arms around his torso and squeeze him.
"Yeah yeah, I just don't want you to act like a bitch." he puts his hand on my head and tries to push me away.
"Stop squeezing me, dammit." I let go of him and intertwine our hands underneath the table.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Walking down the path in the park, I take a sip of my tea. I smile and get an idea. I touch my pinkie, that I usually keep up so my quirk doesn't activate, to the cup. My quirk makes the cup weightless. I let go of the cup and it idles in the air in between my hands.
I giggle and get Katsuki's attention,
"Katsuki look!" I laugh and look up at him. He looks down at the cup and remarks,
"Oh yeah? How are you gonna get it down?" I freeze, realizing what he means.
"Can you grab it for me?" I nervously chuckle. The blonde rolls his eyes and grabs the floating cup. I press the pads of my fingers together and take the plastic glass from Katsuki.
I hear a scream and feel the ground shake.
"A villain!" somebody shouts. I look over the trees and see a giant villain. My jaw drops in shock and I drop my cup of tea. I realize what I have to do and I look up at Katsuki. He bends his knees and gets into a fighting position, a devilish smile plastered onto his face. He looks back at me and I tell him,
"I'll work on protecting bystanders, you deal with the villain."
"Don't tell me what to do!" He yells back at me. We take off running through the trees to the villain. Katsuki uses an explosion to get up to the villain's level. I see a woman pinned underneath a small tree, not heavy enough to crush her, but she can't get out.
"Are you okay?" I ask running up to her, she looks to be in her 40's.
"Oh young lady, you shouldn't be here! It's dangerous!" She warns me,
"Don't worry, I'm a hero." She sighs in relief and I touch the tree, making it weightless and I make the woman weightless so I can carry her to a safer place. A small-time hero runs up to me from behind.
"Hey, kid! It isn't safe here." I turn around and tell him,
"It's okay, I'm a hero student. Can you take this woman someplace safe? She was pinned underneath a tree."
I hand the woman to the hero and release my quirk.
"Do you know the blonde kid fighting the villain?" He asks me
"Yes, he's my frien-" I stop myself.
"Your what?" I think about my response for a little while and respond,
"He's my boyfriend."
The hero nods and starts to walk away, but the woman tells him to stop.
"Miss Hero, what's your name?"
"I'm Uravity,"
"Uravity, I'll remember that name for as long as I live. The beautiful hero that saved my life." I smile and hear a child scream.
I turn around to see a child, underneath the foot of the giant villain, about to be stepped on. My heart skips a beat as my legs run as fast as I can. I didn't even have a chance to think before running to save the little boy.
I pick him up and protect the small child in my arms. Kneeling on the ground, he sobs onto my shirt. I stroke his hair and comfort the boy.
My attention was so focused on the child in my arms, I didn't notice the large tree about to fall onto us both.
"Ochako!" Katsuki screams as he puts all his attention on saving me and the boy.
"Huh?" I respond and see a tear fall from his eyes and he uses a large blast to get to me as fast as possible. He tackles me and rolls on the ground, holding me in his arms like I'm holding the boy.
"Jesus baby, maybe next time try not to get crushed by a massive tree." I'm confused as I look to see where the boy and I were sitting. The concrete was cracked from the weight of the giant tree that is now embedded in the ground.
I shudder as my mind imagines what would've happened if Katsuki was a second late. Tears flow from my eyes as I sob into Katsuki's chest. The smell of smoky caramel fills my nose and I start to relax.
"What about the villain?" I look up at Katsuki. My eyes are met by a pair of glassy ruby eyes, overflowing with worry and a kind emotion that I can't tell what it is.
"Some wood hero showed up and took care of it."
"You mean Kamui Woods?"
"Yeah, I think so."
The boy in my arms yells,
"Mommy!" and wiggles to get out. I let go of him and he runs into the arms of a woman who looks similar to him.
I relax and wrap my arms around Katsuki and nuzzle my face into his neck, inhaling the smoky caramel smell that radiates off of him.
"Thank you, Kat." He grabs my chin to turn my face towards his. He presses his soft lips against mine. I'm surprised because there isn't anyone from our school here that we need to act for. But I give in and wrap my arms around his neck. He pulls away and says,
"Well, I wasn't gonna just sit there and watch you die." I smile and ask him,
"Why did you kiss me? Nobody's here, right?"
"But you seemed to enjoy it."
"Well I'm not complaining, I was just wondering why."
His eyes look at somebody behind us and turn around to see Iida, Todoroki, and Deku, standing at the front of the crowd. Todoroki seems to not care, Deku looks uncomfortable, and Iida is on his way to scold us.
"That is public indecency! You are tainting the innocence of small children!"
"Calm your tits, it's not like we had sex." Katsuki grabs my chin and makes me look at him. He kisses me again, tilting his head so he can kiss me deeper. My face heats up at this sudden passion and Iida panics. The blonde pulls away and smiles devilishly while making eye contact with Iida.
"That's worse! Bakugou! Uraraka! Do you not have standards?"
My face turns a deeper shade of red and I wipe my mouth.
A/N: I had to cut this one a little bit shorter than I wanted to. But I have so many ideas thanks to you guys. But I'm a little bummed out that it dropped to such a low place in #kacchako. But It's whatever. Now that my shitty 8th-grade year is over, I'll be able to work more. And also please let me know if I make any grammar mistakes, while I write, my brain kinda has a stroke. Like when you say or write one word over and over again until it doesn't sound like a word.
