Midoriya POV:
Why do I feel so broken and angry?
Why does the thought of Kacchan and Uraraka together make my blood boil?
It's not like I like Uraraka... Right?
Why am I so mad?
I comb my hands through my messy green hair and get off my bed. I get dressed in my gym uniform and leave my room. Stepping out of the elevator into the common area, I see Kacchan and Uraraka.
Uraraka is sitting on top of Kacchan, which makes me really uncomfortable. Uraraka leans in, so I think they're going to kiss. I look away, but I hear a slap. I snap my head over to see what happened.
Uraraka had slapped Kacchan across the face and stormed off. The room goes quiet as Kacchan sulks. I jog towards Uraraka. She walks outside and sits on the steps, the brunette looks visibly upset. Standing behind her, I contemplate whether or not I should talk to her.
I walk next to her and sit down.
"Hey, are you okay?"
"I'm fine." venom drips off her words. She is pissed.
"What's wro-"
"I said I'm fine. Now leave me alone."
I'm surprised at the sudden anger. Uraraka is usually calm, happy, and laid-back, but this is so not like her.
"Oh. Okay." I abruptly stand up and start to walk away.
"Wait, Deku." Uraraka stands up and holds her hand out. I turn around. She looks down at her feet.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to be so rude."
"It's fine. I'd be mad too if I were in your situation." I walk away and jog down the path.
Uraraka POV:
"It's fine. I'd be mad too if I were in your situation." Midoriya jogs away. I stand there, full of regret. Watching the green-haired boy leave.
I drop my head low and walk back to the steps. Before I sit down, something snaps in my mind and my legs run as fast as they can down the path. What? My body's moving on its own. I sprint towards Deku.
I see a small green dot in the distance. I pick up my pace and press the pads of my fingers against my clothes. I lift up my foot and quickly touch my shoes. I stumble, but I feel lighter. I continue running.
The icy air stings my lungs as I pant. Sweat forms on my face, causing me to feel even colder.
I should have brought a jacket. The green dot in the distance increases in size. Soon, I can make out the blue PE uniform, and red shoes. The distance between us steadily shrinks.
Just a little bit more. I'm now running about 100 feet behind Midoriya.
"Deku!" I try to yell, but I can't yell very loud as I am short of breath. I feel tears sting my eyes. The warm tears are rapidly cooled as they stream down my face and get lifted into the wind.
"DEKU!" He stops and turns around.
"Uraraka?" I close the distance between us and jump into Midoriya's arms. Deku's surprised, but when he feels how cold I am, he wraps his arms around me.
"Uraraka? What's wrong? God, you're freezing."
"I- I'm sorry." I sob out. My knees buckle and I sink to the ground, dragging the greenette down with me.
"For what?" My teeth chatter as my body shivers uncontrollably. Deku takes off his jacket and drapes it around my shoulders.
"Look at me," I look up at him. He looks... better. His emerald eyes are bright and clear. The freckles on his cheeks are no longer accompanied by dark circles. I gently place my hands on his cheeks and look into his eyes. Without realizing it, I started pulling his face closer to mine.
I hook my chin over his shoulder and hug him. He gasps slightly.
I pull back a little and honestly place a kiss on his cheek. His face turns red as I tuck my face into the crook of his neck. He pushes me away.
I look at him, confused.
"I-I can't. Kacchan will kill me." He stands up. His green eyes are filled with sadness. Midoriya jogs away, leaving me sitting on the sidewalk... Alone.
What just happened?
The temperature of the air drops. Snowflakes glide to the ground. I shiver and pull the sleeves over my arms. I stand up and wrap my arms around myself, trying to conserve my body heat. Looking around, I realize that I have no clue where I am.
"Shit," I start walking down the path. I forgot my phone at the dorms.
The fog settling in the air prevents me from telling where the main campus is. I can see my breath.
"Maybe I should ask someone to use their phone?"
I shake my head "no" and keep walking.
Bakugou POV:
"Where's Ochako?" Asui puts her finger to her chin,
"Ochako hasn't returned yet..."
"What?! It's freezing outside!" I run to my room and grab 2 jackets and a scarf. I pull my arms through the sleeves of the jacket and throw the scarf around my neck.
Deku walks back in, his nose and cheeks are red and he's not wearing the jacket he had when he left.
"Deku!"
"Ah! Kacchan!"
"Where's Ochako? You left just after she left, right?"
"Yeah. Wait, she hasn't returned yet?"
"No! Where is she?"
"I don't know! But she went that way, down the path." He points to the main entrance and to the left a little.
I sprint outside and look back and forth to see if I can see Ochako.
"Damn it. The fog's to thick to see." I start walking left, looking for the brunette.
Uraraka POV:
"God, it's so cold. Am I even going the right way?" I'm starting to not be able to feel my hands or feet. I look down at my padded fingers. They start to turn pink.
"Ow," I blow warm air on my hands to try and slow the effects of frostbite.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
My hands start to hurt even more. They are numb, but they still hurt. The tips of my fingers turn red.
"That's not good..." My speech is slurred and I'm so weak that I am having trouble walking. At this point, the wind has picked up quite a bit, making me even colder.
I start to feel light-headed.
"Wha-" Suddenly, I collapse to the ground, out cold.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Bakugou POV:
"God, where are you Ochako?" The wind and fog start dissipating. I can see about 50 feet in front of me.
As I'm walking, I see a small brown dot on the ground. As I get closer, I realize that it's Ochako. The small brunette is laying on the ground, unconscious.
"Holy shit." I sprint towards her and kneel in front of her. Her padded fingertips are slightly red. Holding her in my arms, I realize how cold she is. I wrap the extra jacket around her and pick her up.
Sprinting towards the dorms, I try to wake her up.
"Ochako! Ochako! Please wake up!" Her auburn eyes open slightly.
"Kat- Katsuki?"
"Yes! Ochako are you okay?"
"n-no."
"Oh my god." I press her cheek against mine, trying to warm her up.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The fog has completely died down, so I can see the main campus. I run as fast as I can. Bursting through the front doors, I yell,
"Start a fire in the fireplace!" Yaororozu runs up to me to ask,
"What happened?"
"JUST START A FIRE! NOW!!!"
