Uraraka POV:

"Hey, are you even listening to me round face?! Catch the goddamn ball!" the spiky-haired blond screams at me.

"Oh! Sorry!" I apologize as Bakugou throws a ball to me. Mr. Aizawa had assigned partners to practice our reflexes by throwing a ball to each other.

I wanted to work with Deku, but he got Todoroki and I was assigned to Bakugou.

"We are done for today. Tomorrow there will be a quiz, but I'm not telling you if it is practical or written, so you better train and study the material. That is all, go change." Mr. Aizawa announces.

Bakugou walks up to me, catching me off guard. He holds a hand out for me to shake; ever since Nabu island, he's really changed and is becoming less independent in that he realizes that teamwork is necessary for being a hero. 

"I still don't like you, so don't think this changes anything. But not bad; you've definitely improved since the sports festival." I giggle and shake his hand,

"You've also improved a lot, I personally really like your howitzer impact. Like, badass!" 

"Tch, thanks, I guess." He walks away and I go to meet up with my friends.

"What was that Uraraka? Did Kacchan just compliment you?" Deku asks me. 

"I know right?!" I say as I turn back to look back at Bakugou as he walks away with Kirishima. 

"He's really warmed up thanks to you. Damn, I never thought in a million years he would actually work together with someone, especially you, Deku." I tell Deku.

"Well, he understands that now he's at U.A., he is still extremely strong, but now he is surrounded by people who also got into U.A., and are quite strong. He wants to win, I want to save, so All Might explained to us after our fight, that he can save by winning, and I can win by saving, and that we would make the best heroes if we worked together to improve each other." The green-haired boy rambles.  

"It's so strange, ever since Nabu island, he's really changed, I feel as if he isn't as independent; I mean, teamwork is a necessary part of being a hero," I reply.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

"Hey Ochako, what's with you and blasty boy? I thought you had the hots for Midoriya." Mina asks me in the locker room, pulling me out of my daydream. Startled, I say, 

"What?! Nothing's going on Mina! He hates me, and plus, I don't even think Deku likes me..."

"Maybe we can have Toru sneak into the boy's dorms and listen to their conversations! Or Maybe Kyoka can listen through the walls!" Mina exclaims excitedly. 

"No! That is an invasion of privacy Mina! And plus, we could get in a lot of trouble! We could just ask them." Momo replies. 

"What! Come on Momo! This is so exciting!" Toru adds. 

"But think about how the boys would feel if they found out, that's so mean you guys." Tsu interjects. 

"Tsu has a point, that would be against the rules and the guys would feel so betrayed," Kyoka adds.

"Ugh! You guys are no fun!" Mina exclaims. 

"Let's just forget it. I'm hungry, let's go eat lunch." I state.

Class 1-A Dorms | 8:07 PM

Uraraka POV:

"Ochako! Ochako! I've got an idea!" Mina yells as she runs up to me.

"What!? What!?" I giggle. 

"You and Bakugou should act like you're a couple so that Deku gets jealous! It's full proof! Please! It'll work!" My eyes widen. 

"WHAT?!?! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!!!!" I scream and back away, waving my hands in front of me, getting the attention of the other girls mingling about the dorm common space. Everyone drops what they were doing and run up to me, concerned.

"What happened? Are you okay Ochako?" Tsu asks me. 

"Yeah, what's wrong?" Kyoka questions.

 I'm too stunned to speak, so Mina repeats what she said, "I said that Ochako and Bakugou should act like a couple so that Deku gets jealous of them and would want to be with Ochako." 

"Bakugou would never agree to that," Tsu replies. 

"He would probably rather lose to Midoriya," Toru adds. 

"But, Mina's got a point, since Ochako doesn't want to just tell Midoriya how she feels, making him jealous would be the plan with the highest chance of success," Momo says. 

"You're not wrong..." Kyoka says.

"See!?!! It'll work!" Mina says. After a couple minutes of debating, I finally yell out, 

"OKAY FINE!"

"Yay!" Mina claps her hands and jumps up and down. I know I'm going to regret this. I check the clock, 10:21 PM. Shit, we have training tomorrow. 

"It's 10:21, we should get to bed. Remember, we have training in the morning." I explain. 

"Yeah, it's pretty late," Momo says.

As we all are going into our rooms, I say goodnight to everyone and go to my respective floor, the same floor as Mina.

"Goodnight, ~lover girl~", Mina says in a singsong voice. I feel my face heat up and I awkwardly smile and shut the door behind me. 

I sigh and walk past my bed to the balcony doors, I open the doors and walk out. I shiver a bit due to the cool breeze and wrap my hands around my arms and lean against the railing, looking out at the night sky. Listening to the crickets singing their song, everything is still. After a few minutes of bliss, I decide to go to bed. 

As I'm lying in my bed, Bakugou and Deku suddenly pop into my head. At some point, I end up falling asleep.

I feel a weight and my bed sinks down, just like when my mom would sit on my bed, I feel a hand smoothing out my hair and I open my eyes to see Deku, stroking my hair with a caring look in his eyes. I sit up, 

"Deku? What are you doing here? You shouldn't be here, you could get in trouble." I say, sleepily. 

"It's okay, I'll be fine. Just as long as you are happy, I'm happy." He replies. 

"What do you mea-" Suddenly, his face starts melting off, similarly to Toga's quirk. He transforms into Bakugou, who has the same caring look in his eyes, with a hint of lust. 

"Baku-" my words are cut off by Bakugou pressing his lips onto mine, my eyes widen with surprise, but soon I give into the kiss and enjoy it. I suddenly start feeling light-headed and when I try to pull away, but Bakugou holds me close, not letting me go. 

I pass out and wake up in my dorm.

What the hell was that? I brush the weird feeling off and get ready for school.
