JJ's POV:

Today was the big day. It was the day I was getting a vasectomy. John B was taking me as I didn't want Kie there to see me in pain.

I hugged and kissed my wife goodbye before John B came and picked me up for my procedure. I was so nervous and Kie could tell. She looked at me and said, "I love you, thank you for doing this"

"Anything so I can raw dog" I said smirking

"Shut up" She said embarrassed even though it was just the two of us

She kissed me and asked, "Are you sure you don't want me to come with?"

"Nah, it's okay... I'd rather you not see me in pain"

"Jayge, before you go I just want you to know that I want this too. We agreed on no kids and the miscarriage was a total accident and as much as I wish things would have been different, they weren't. I'm perfectly happy spending the rest of my life with you, just the two of us. I don't ever want you getting a vasectomy to come between us so right now I want you to know that I'm good with it. I'm happy and I can't wait to not have to worry about accidentally getting pregnant"

I looked at my beautiful wife and I said, "I love you and after all my follow-up appointments to make sure the swimmers are gone, you and me are going on a trip"

"Sounds perfect"

We kissed goodbye and then I got into the Twinkie as John B started heading to the hospital where they were going to do the procedure. I was nervous the whole drive and John B said, "I can't believe you're doing this"

"We aren't having kids and if I do this it means she can stop taking birth control because it's really fucking with her hormones and she hates the way it makes her feel"

"Damn, you're a good husband"

We got to the hospital and I got all checked in and John B came inside with me as he had to do some paperwork saying he'd be my driver. However, as I was filling out the paperwork, Mike showed up. I looked at him and he said, "Hey, I know today is a big day but I figured I'd be here for moral support if you don't mind"

"Not at all" I said as Mike sat down

I filled out the form and Mike said he'd sign to be my driver after the procedure. John B gave me a guy hug and said he was taking off. I was glad Mike was here.

He looked at me and said, "You know I had this done after we had Kiara?"

"You did?" I asked

"Yeah, Anna and I always wanted more kids but Kiara was a high-risk pregnancy and after she was born the doctors told Anna that she shouldn't have any more kids because it was too dangerous for her. She was on bedrest most of the pregnancy. I got the procedure to be sure Anna wouldn't get pregnant"

"How bad does it hurt?"

"You're sore, it's like getting kicked in the balls but the pain doesn't go away"

I made a face and said, "Yeah, not looking forward to it"

"It'll be okay...Bags of frozen peas are the best to help with the pain and swelling"

Mike sat there and talked to me about his experience and just about random things to help take my mind off it. He didn't once question if this was something I really wanted to do or try to talk me out of it which I really appreciated.

Kie and I have talked about it and we both agreed no kids. I don't want her to have to be on birth control forever so I'm happy to do this one small procedure for her.

"JJ Maybank" A nurse called my name

Mike and I stood up and he said, "You got this, I'll be here waiting"

"Thanks for being here" I said as he gave me a quick hug

I went back with the nurse and she had me change into a gown. She took my blood pressure and other vitals. She went over some questions and I was told to answer yes or no. Then they moved into questions regarding the procedure. The nurse asked, "Do you want kids in the future?"

"No"

"Have you talked to your partner about this?"

"Yes"

"Sorry, we have to ask but are you sure you want to have this procedure done today?"

"Yes"

"Thank you, I'll go let the doctor know you're ready"

I was alone in the room and I saw Kie texted me.

Kie: Don't be scared, I love you and I promise when you're feeling better I'll give you the best blowjob to make up for the pain

JJ: Dirty texts, huh?

JJ: I'm gonna hold you to that

Kie: I'm sure you will

JJ: I love you too, in case you didn't know

Kie: You know, I wasn't too sure I mean we are married but you never know

JJ: You're such a dork and I love you

Kie: Now go get those tubes cut so you don't have to worry about accidentally making a baby

The doctor came in and he confirmed my name and birthday before asking more questions. He said, "Just have to go over the risks one more time"

He told me all the risks and made sure I still wanted to go through with the procedure and I nodded my head yes.  He said he'd be back and then the procedure would begin. I was so nervous but there was no way I was asking Mike to come back here for all this. I didn't want to answer questions about my dick and sex life in front of my father-in-law.

The doctor came back and said, "Alright, JJ we're going to give you this shot to numb the area before the procedure"

I was so nervous about this, but it was all going to be worth it. In thirty minutes, I would be walking out of here and we'd never have to worry about Kie getting pregnant again. The procedure was starting. Here goes nothing.
