When they got to the village, Spitfire looked around to see many Eevees and Eeveelutions. He saw some Vaporeon swimming in the pond splashing water at each other.  Many Sylveon were prancing around in a myriad of flowers. Jolteon and Flareon trying to show whose stronger in battle. Espeon and Leafeon resting in the sunlight and Glaceon and Umbreon laying in the shade under a tree. A few Eevees were running around and playing with each other.

"Wow! You're home is a very pleasant place" Spitfire said.

"Yeah, you may think so, but we've been watching out for the Dark One" Lillie spoke up.

"Whose the Dark one?" Spitfire asked.

Lillie and Serena looked at each other and back to the bird. "Well... we don't know what he is and what he actually looks like but we heard about him from stories that the elders told us about." Serena explained.

"Well how can you watch out for something that you don't even know what it looks like?" Spitfire asked.

"Well... that's a good question. We would tell you if we knew" Serena answered.

They stopped near a den. "Here we are. The nursery" Serena said. "Come on, Spitfire."

"Wait!" Lillie shouted.

"What is it?" Serena asked.

"Are you sure we can even trust this bird. I mean, we just met him. Why would we just bring him into our village and let him into our nursery. He could be working for the Dark one and we won't even know" Lillie said.

"Just calm down. I know what I'm doing. Besides, we saved him so he has to do what we say" Serena responded.

They walked into the den to a certain Glaceon and Leafeon.

"Hello Serena and Lillie. Whose this bird Pokémon?" Breeze asked.

"Oh... this is Spitfire. We befriended him while we were... er... playing in the village" Serena lied, not wanting to tell the truth about going out in the forest without permission and finding him in a net.

"Befriended him while you were playing in the village eh?" Blade said not buying it.

"Well er... yeah." Serena said.

"Well since I'm here maybe I could help you with your egg for I am an egg expert" Spitfire added.

"An egg expert?" Breeze and Blade said in unison.

"Well yes, for I have the ability flame body. Which allows me to incubate eggs and help them hatch faster" Spitfire says.

"Flame body?" Breeze asked.

Usagi walked towards them. "You say you have the ability Flame Body right" the Sylveon asked.

"Yes,mam" Spitfire replied.

"Hm... interesting. Would you mind letting him use his ability on your egg, Breeze?" Usagi asked.

"Well..." she began to think about it.

"Don't worry, I won't harm your egg" Spitfire remarked.

"Fine... just be careful" Breeze responded.

"You got it" Spitfire flew towards the egg and landed next to it. He wrapped his wings gently around the egg and his body began to glow red and orange, causing the den to become warm.

A few minutes later, the egg began to shake. Spitfire backed away from the egg as Breeze, Blaze, Usagi, Serena, and Lillie all surrounded the egg. They watched as the egg began to crack.

"Our egg is hatching, Blade!!!" Breeze said as she wagged her tail in excitement.

The egg continues to shake and crack until a white light came out of the egg blinding the group like a Dazzling Gleam. When the light dissipated, they saw a baby Eevee sitting in the hatched egg. She looked around the den at all the faces.

"Mama? Papa?" She spoke.

Breeze and Blade stepped forward and touched the young Eevee's nose with their own.

"She's beautiful" Breeze said.

"So what are you going to name her?" Usagi asked.

"Hm... How about Faith?" Blade responds.

"Faith is a perfect name for a perfect little Eevee" Breeze says.

"Faith" the young Eevee repeated.

"Faith it is then" Blade smiled.
