On the darkest side of the forest, cages with a whole bunch of Eeveelutions and Eevees were being held hostage.

"Get us out of here this instant!!!" A Glaceon demanded.

A low evil cackle came from within the shadows. "I don't think so... All of you will be of use to us."

"What do you want with the Eevee Villagers?" A Green Espeon asked.

"Ha Ha Ha that is none of your concern, Green Eon!" The voice responded.

"Who are you?" Ripple asked. "Are you the Dark One?"

The creature in the shadows broke down into a huge maniacal laugh. "Oh no... I am only his servant. The Dark One is far more scarier than you imagine. The Dark One has told us about an Eevee with great power, so which one of these Eevees is it? Hades, sniff out the little ragamuffin!" A Houndoom walked out of the shadows. His eyes were pure red and his horns were much larger than a normal Houndoom. His spear like tail looked like it could stab a Pokémon with one quick jab. He looked half-dead and half-alive.

He sniffed around the terrified Eevees and looked back in the shadows. "The Eevee is not here!" He growled.

"What do you mean the Eevee's not here, we got all the Pokémon from the village. How can she not be here?" The creature in the shadow asked.

"I don't smell any power in this Eevee bunch. That means that you've missed one. You better find her or the Dark One won't be happy with you! He has given you the power to fuse with those two idiots of yours and he orders his servants to help you if you need it so you better not fail him or he won't be very happy with you!" Hades growled.

The creature in the shadows groaned in frustration. "Once we find her, the Eevee Village will be our new era, where only we can live because nothing will be able to stand in our way for no longer."

"Now Hades, call in the other servants so they can help with the search of Faith the Eevee. Without Faith, it is impossible to please Arceus." He continued.

Hades growled in annoyance. "Fine!" The Houndoom soon vanished.

"Once we get that Eevee. There will be no hope left for the village."

"How do you know you can catch her? You don't know where she is and neither do any of us" Breeze said.

"Oh don't worry... There will be a dozen among a dozen of us that will be after her so there's no way she can win" the creature in the shadows spoke. "Well I'll be back and don't you dare try to escape I have eyes everywhere on this area of the forest. You are on our turf now."

A Sylveon named Melody who was in a cage with a few other Sylveon and Espeon began to sing 'An Unwavering Heart' to try and calm herself.

It didn't seem to do the trick however as she heard a few murmurs and yelling of annoyance in the shadows. Whatever the creature was that was speaking to them was correct. They were being watched.

Faith sat on the cold ground, mourning for the loss of her fellow villagers. "I was too late" she sighed, sullenly. "I failed the villagers... I failed the spirits... I failed Clairvoya and Sino.... I failed even Arceus..."

"Faith..." she heard a calm voice in the wind speak to her.

"Clairvoya?" She looked up to the blue sky. She could have sworn that she saw a spirit of an Espeon resting on a huge cloud in the sky.

"Faith, don't lose hope. I have Faith in you. I know you can do this. You just have to be brave and go search for your lost villagers. You are their last hope! Now go! this is what you are destined to withstand." Clairvoya told her.

"You're right. I can't give up on my villagers, not in their darkest hour. I won't abandon them, I have to fight back for the Eevee Village." Faith replied.

"That's the spirit Faith" Clairvoya said. "Remember that we'll be watching you and we'll be glad to help you any way we can."

Faith nodded as she quickly grabbed the three stones from her den and set off through the forest, following the scent of her lost village residents.

Unbeknownst to her, she was being watched in the shadows. The dark figure only had his mouth visible in the light as he licked his lips. "There you are" he mumbled, under his breath. "You will be ours very soon, Faith."

Faith continued through the forest, in search of her villagers. Suddenly, she realized that she passed a Moss Rock and evolved into a Leafeon. However she wasn't surprised as she was already used to evolving. It was now normal to her.  All of a sudden, her stomach began to growl. She was getting hungry. "Welp I can't continue with an empty stomach, can I? Now to look for the closest berry bush."

A few minutes later, she found a Sitrus Berry bush and picked a few up. Once she turned around, she saw a small Bulbasaur that was smaller than the average size. "H-hello..." she responded, shyly. "Could I have some berries? My mother's very sick, I want to give her some berries to hopefully make her feel better."

Faith glared at her. "No! All these berries are mine! Get lost, kid!"

"W-what? B-but there's plenty on the bush for the both of us. W-we could share..." the Bulbasaur responded.

"No, I found it first. Go find a different berry bush!" Faith said, selfishly.

"Y-you're starting to sound like a Snorlax. Please... You don't understand, my mother needs some berries. Please you have to let me get s-"

"No!" Faith snapped.

Suddenly, she felt a harsh breeze in the air. "Faith!! I don't like your act of Gluttony!" Petunia tod, her.

"Gluttony?" Faith thought. "What am I doing?"

The Bulbasaur tilted her head to the left in confusion. "H-hello?"

Faith noticed that she was starring at her. "Oh... I'm sorry. You can go ahead" she moved away from the bush and let the Bulbasaur get some berries. Once she got her amount of berries, she then ran off without another word. Faith looked down with guilt. She lost her control with gluttony now. She had to be careful. She continued on her way to find the residents of Eeveeville.

After a few miles, she de-evolved back into her Eevee self. She was getting tired. "Maybe it would be best to take a break to rest." She thought to herself.

She found a cave up a hill and she pushed herself forward to get to it. Once she made it inside, she found that it was empty. She decided to rest for the night. She looked up at the starry night above. The moonlight shined down on her making her evolve into an Umbreon. Her yellow rings made the cave walls glow like a nightlight. She laid down on the cold ground  and fell asleep.

Faith's dream:

Faith woke up to see a black Eevee. The Black Eevee grinned at her. "Hello Faith."

"W-who are you?" Faith asked, sitting up.

"I am a Shadow Eevee."  The Shadow Eevee paced around her.

"Why are you here?" Faith asked.

"I am your dark side. I was created by your sins. The Dark One has created me to haunt your dreams" The Shadow Eevee cackled. "I know your weaknesses. Every time you change form, I try my hardest to trick you into doing your sins. You may also call Me the strange power of the Darkness."

"Why can't you just leave me alone!" Faith attempted to use Iron Tail, But it didn't effect Shadow Eevee.

"Ha! You little fool! You can't hurt me!" The Shadow Eevee laughed.

"W-why can't I attack you?" Faith asked.

"Because idiot, I am basically the opposite of you. Your dark side. Didn't I say that before?" Shadow Eevee asked.

"Well yes, but why are you trying to make me fail? Why are you trying to make me get my powers  taken away?"  Faith asked.

"I... was... created...  by... the Dark One... Is it really that hard to understand?" Shadow Eevee asked.

"No! So the Dark One created you so I can't stop him?" Faith asked.

"Yup!" Shadow Eevee replied, somewhat proudly. "Pretty clever, huh?"

"No, it is not! Tell the Dark One that he can't stop me that easily! I will fight back my sins and you can't stop me from trying!" Faith shouted.

"Try if you will, but you're getting weaker by the minute. You already broke 3 out of 7. Oh... Maybe you should make that 4" the Shadow Eevee grinned and started laughing maniacally.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Faith asked.

"Oh nothing... Wakey wakey Lazeon!" Shadow Eevee joked.

"Lazeon?" Faith questioned.

"Faith, wake up right now!!!" Darklight yelled.

"Huh.... What?? Where??" She jolted awake.

"Faith! It took you an hour to wake up. You know tat your villagers are in danger, right? And you just lazed out like you don't even care. I told you to watch with your sloth and you didn't listen to me!" He scolded her.

"The Shadow Eevee... She kept me from waking up on purpose!" She thought to herself angrily.

"I-I'm sorry... It was an accident." Faith apologized.

"You better not do anymore sins like this again or we'll have no choice but to take your power away" Darklight said. "You must be careful. You have three sins you haven't broken yet. Lust, Pride, and Envy. You have been warned!" He then disappeared.

"Lust, Pride And Envy. I have three more that I haven't broken yet. I have to fight back the Shadow Eevee. I can't make her break me again." She told herself.

I will open a Contest once this book is done, which will allow people to make a character that could be featured in the second book. Whose excited for that?

Honestly, this chapter would have came out earlier if I wasn't too busy trying to hunt Shiny Cutiefly 😅 XD
But I've made this chapter longer than expected so there you go.
