It has been three hours since they have Alec inside. Magnus and Jack was pacing around and every time someone came out from the room they stood up but was disappointed as it wasn't for them. An hour later only somebody called Alec's name and they rushed to the person. "Are you family?" He asked. Jack shake his head and explained to the guy that they are the guardian at the moment since he is in school trip. He nodded and brings them inside a private room and closed the door behind him.

"Sir, I'm gonna need to ask your son few questions if you don't mind. Magnus nodded to Jack signing its okay but his heart is beating faster than usual. "Is he okay? How is he? What happened?" Magnus asked. He couldn't contain his heart anymore. "I'm Dr Carl, I'm one of the ER physician who handle Alec Lightwood cases. Mr Lightwood was overdose on some pain killers but that is not one of the main reasons. We found few substances abused in his blood test, he was drugged and I want to know who did this to him." They all gasped hearing what the doctor just told them.

"Is he okay?" Jack asked. He still concerned of Alec's well being. "He's stable for now, we reversed the effect and pumped everything out. We ran a test, there's no sign of sexual assaults only he broken his ribs and there's nothing much we can do about it, it will heal on its own." Magnus heart clenched as he heard there's no sexual assaults, when he put all the pieces together, he knew now that  Alec and Sebastian didn't had sex with each other. Now he felt more fool cause Alec was literally the victim. He was drugged by Sebastian and he slept through just to make Magnus and him broke up. He never felt more guilty in his life and he wanted to see Alec immediately, he wanted to tell him he's sorry.

"I want to see him." Magnus left the room and rushed to Alec's cubicle lead by Dr Carl. As he reached his side, his heart shattered. Alec was lying on the bed with monitors all over him. Oxygen mask on his face, and fluid line on his arm. He's asleep but Magnus wished he would wake up to tell him how much he's sorry, how much he loves him and he wish he could take it back everything he said to Alec. He broke Alec's heart jumping to conclusion and blamed him for no reason.

"Mags we need to tell his parents. They would be worried if he didn't come home." Magnus turned around and tears flowing run through his cheek. "Dad, please you can't tell them. They will send him away. I can't lose him please." Jack frowned and Mary was more confused than ever. "What do you mean?" Jack asked. He turned back and sat beside Alec, holding his hand. "His dad will sent him to New York with his abusive uncle if he messed up. This considered as messed up. I will called Izzy and tell her what is happening but I need you guys to hide this from everyone else."

Mary and Jack was stunt and they couldn't help not to agree on Magnus' plan. "Mags we cannot do that. We need to file this case to the police. Whoever drugged Alec has to be put in justice." Mary said and Magnus scoffed. "The person who did this is Sebastian Atler, if you have some higher connection with the DA be my guest and bring this to justice as you please. I don't have any prove to blame Sebastian but I know he must have something to do with this." Jack sighed as he is not surprise hearing it was his doing. He pinched his nose and shake his head, he was clueless and he can't decide on anything that won't hurt Alec more.

Magnus stayed beside Alec the whole time. They moved him to the ward for closer monitoring. Funny thing cause he didn't feel hungry nor he feel tired waiting on Alec. He made a phone call to Izzy earlier and told her not too panic or her mum would be worried. They came up with a plan to tell her parents Alec would be staying with Magnus for some part time job with his dad. His dad was not really happy about it but he didn't questioned anything. Probably he was happy Alec is not around at home to bother him. He told Izzy to come tomorrow instead even though she was yelling at him for her to come and see her brother but Magnus doesn't want their dad to get suspicious. So she agreed to it.

Magnus was lost in his thought when he felt Alec moves his hand. He clenched it tighter and stood up. He cupped Alec's cheek and stroke it softly. "Alec, hey. Its me." Alec tried to open his eyes but few attempts failed. He managed to open them after a while, he swallowed few times and licked his dry lips. "W-water." He voiced is hoarse and barely audible. Magnus grabbed a glass of water and bring to Alec's lips. The scene was dejavu to Magnus. Jack and Mary was watching closely.

After Alec swallowed few drinks he tried to got up but winced back in pain. He clenched his chest and Magnus felt guilt all over him. "Magnus." He called. Magnus wont dare to to stare at Alec's eyes. His gaze looked down to the floor but Alec cupped his face turning back his gaze. He saw tears rolling down Magnus cheek. "Mags, I would nev-" he wasn't able to finish his words before Magnus lips crushed into his. They shared one deep kiss before Magnus pulled out from their trance. "I know Alexander, I'm sorry. I should have believe you and let you explained. I was so stupid. I'm so sorry." Alec pulled him for a hug and they both sobbed in each others embrace.

"Mr and Mrs Bane I'm so sorry to put you in trouble." Alec said after they both pulled away from their hugs. Magnus helped Alec to sit up, he propped the bed for Alec to sit properly. "Nonsense Alec, we just glad you're okay. Mind telling us what happened?" Mary said and Jack was nudging her not the right time. "Its okay Mr Bane. I owed Magnus an apology. I didn't take my medication properly and I should have told you I was not okay instead of lying on your face. Camille offered me something to help with the pain and I bought it. I should know better not to trust those snakes. They gave me a drink and they put something in it cause the next thing I knew I was blackout."

Magnus sighed and Alec could see his face turned to anger as his hand clenched tighter in a fist. Jack and Mary shook their heads unable to process what happened. "What are we gonna do. Alec are you gonna press charged?" Jack asked. Alec looked at Magnus and turned his gaze back to them. "I don't think I would win since he's the mayor son. I didn't see my dad come and barged in meaning you guys haven't told them anything yet." Magnus looked up to his parents before his gaze turned back to Alec. "I couldn't Alexander. You know what he will do to you and I can't lose you just yet."

Alec smiled at Magnus before he continued. "Thank you, I don't think I can face anyone of my family at the moment. But if you don't mind I might need a place to stay." Jack looked at Mary before they both smiled at Alec. "Considered it done. We're going home, Magnus you're coming?" Jack gestured but Magnus shake his head. "You're crazy, of course not." Mary chuckled and so does Alec. "Mags, go home. I'll be fine." Alec suggested but Magnus wont budge, he crossed his arms to his chest and pout like a toddler. "No, and no one will make me leave." Jack remembers when Magnus used to be rebellion and always a hard head. "Here, buy you guys some dinner, we're going home." He held a couple of notes and Magnus took it happily. He looked at Alec before both of them said the same thing, "Pizza!"
