Magnus stayed by his side the whole time after Alec passed out. He has a breathing tube connected through his nose and his breathing is improved since before. They removed the tube on his chest earlier as they had removed enough air in his lungs. Alec's face is pale and his eyes is swollen like he has been crying for hours. Then Magnus heard rumbled coming through from outside of Alec's room. He stood up from the chair he sat on as the door banged open causing him to startle and feared. He saw a tall woman with dark long hair tied up in a ponytail and she wears a Burgundy colored dress that covers till her knee with a black heels and a black pursed matched with the whole outfit. She looks worried and her face focus on Alec who's on the bed lying helplessly. She ignored Magnus' present in the room as she went straight to Alec and held his hand. "Alec, hey sweetie mummy's here. Wake up baby." She cupped Alec's cheek and run her thumbs on his chin. She teared up and Magnus saw her tears fall as she wiped it with her fingers.

Magnus stepped back away from her to give her some space when he saw Izzy walked into the room. "Mama." Maryse looked over her shoulder and looked back at Alec still holding his hand. She kiss Alec on his forehead before she stood up and turned to face Izzy. "What the hell have you two been up to? Why didn't you tell me anything? He has been sick and you hide it from me! The doctor told me he might have gone and exposed himself in cold weather too much. Have you two been sneaking out again behind my back?" Maryse shouted at Isabelle and she couldn't help but to tear. It wasn't her fault for Alec being stubborn and always sneaking out middle of the night. She was about to say another word before Magnus interrupted her. "Actually, he sneaked out to see me. Its all my fault, don't blame Izzy on this." Maryse shoot Magnus a look and her eyebrow crooked. "Who the hell are you and why my son sneaked out to see you?" Magnus sighed trying to explain the situation. "He's Alec's friend from school." Izzy spoke and Maryse crossed her arm on her chest. "When your father got home you both are so grounded! You hear me!" Izzy didn't answered she just nodded weakly and looked down.

They all sat by Alec's bedside waiting for him to wake up. Its been hours and Magnus saw how Izzy tried not to yawn in front of her mother. She tried to keep her eyes open and Maryse still sitting by Alec's side holding his hand. She looked down at her only son and the memories haunt her. The time where Alec always been at the hospitals fighting for his life since he was just a baby. Then she felt Alec's finger moved in her grip. He moves her head from the side to center and tried to open his eyes. Both Izzy and Magnus already at their feet closer to Alec. "M-Mama" he spoke, his voice cracked and it sounded like he had something in his throat. "Shh, shh baby, I'm here." She cupped his face and stroked her thumb to soothe him. Alec leaned at the touch and falls back to sleep. Magnus and Izzy both sat back on their chair waiting again for Alec to wake up properly. But in their heart, relieved since Alec is better now. He's just too tired to stay awake.

It has been hours since the incident and Magnus didn't bother to check on his phone. He was leaning by the wall of the hospitals hallway while he was getting some coffee. He forgot to tell his parents and when he took off his phone he saw 58 missed calls from both his mum and his dad. There's few text message from them and Ragnor asking to hang out. He ignored the message and called his parents.

He sighed preparing himself for the yell of his life. It rings not more than 3 when someone pick up, "Magnus! Where the hell have you been? You come home right now!" His father's voice is loud as he shouted through the phone. Magnus kept his silence and they both did. "Magnus." His mother's loving voice spoke through the phone. "Is everything okay sweetie? Tell me where you are, I'll come and pick you up." His mother is truly an angel and Magnus felt guilty making her worried. But he couldn't help when he tried to held back his tears. He held up his palm on his mouth tried to hide the sound of him crying but his mother knew better. "I'm sorry mum, I'm at the hospital." He heard how both of his parents gasped hearing the word hospitals. No parents ever wanted to hear that from their child and they started to imagine awful things that happened. "I'm fine, its not me, its Alec. I'll explained later when I got home. I just want to make sure he's okay before I go home alright? I love you both. I see you soon." Magnus ended the call quickly as he couldn't bear his heart to hold back his tears.

He tilted his head back on the wall when suddenly he felt a punch on his face making him stumbled on the floor. He fell on the side and when he looked up he saw Jace with a furious look on his face. "You bastard! What did you do?" He was about to lunged another punch when Izzy stopped him and pulled him to the side. "It wasn't his fault! If anything you should be thankful he is there to bring Alec to hospitals. If it was for me, he might be dead in the room cause I don't know he passed out." Izzy held Jace against the wall. Magnus stood up and rubbed his sore jaw and looked at Jace. "Whatever Izz, he still to be blamed. What he did to Alec is not acceptable." Izzy sighed and let go of Jace from her grip. She might be smaller but everybody knows not to mess with Isabelle Lightwood. "I know, he apologized. Can we move on now?" Jace rolled his eyes and headed to Alec's room leaving Magnus and Izzy alone. Izzy looked at him and grabbed his chin tilting it to the side to get a closer look on the bruise. Magnus shoved her hand off of him and wiped his tears that dropped earlier. "Are you okay?" She asked trying to be nice. He nodded and didn't dare to make eye contact with her. "Thank you for stood up for me." Izzy looks at his eyes and he saw Magnus blaming himself for what happen to Alec.

Izzy and Magnus both headed to Alec's room and as they entered, they saw Alec sat on the bed talking to Maryse and Jace. He looked at Magnus when he entered and Izzy squealed in excitement when she saw her brother is awake. "Alec!" She screamed his name and went to hug him. He winced at the grip when Izzy accidentally hold his chest and touches the area where they poked him before. "Sorry, sorry. Are you okay? I'm so worried about you." Izzy released her grip as Alec leaned back catching a breath from the pain. She got worried again but Alec smiled nodding at her signing he's okay. His gaze stares at Magnus not with a smile but rather with a frown. "What is he doing here?" Maryse looked at Magnus and back at Alec. "What do you mean? I thought he's your friend from school. Wasn't he?" Alec looked at his mother and back at Magnus. "He was. Not anymore." Magnus heart felt like it shattered after a thousand feet fall. He can't help when his tears flooded his cheek and he hides it by running out from Alec's room. He heard Izzy hauled trying to catch him but she failed as Magnus was faster and he flee the hospital drove away with a broken heart and tears in his eyes.

"What the hell was that?" Izzy shouted when she returned to Alec's room. Alec looked at his sister and turned his gaze away from her. "Don't you dare Alec, he saved your lives and you should be thankful!" Izzy point her finger at her brother making her points. Alec shoot back a look, "and I have saved his, now we're even!" Maryse looked at her children fighting each other and looked at Jace. "Do you understand any of this?" Jace shrugged his shoulder and shook his head signing no. "Izzy what is wrong with you? Why are you protecting him instead of Alec?" Izzy looked at Jace and she raised both of her hands to her waist. "Because you are stupid enough not to see they are clearly in love with each other but letting the fucking man-ego had to be in your way!" "Izzy! Language!" Maryse stood and she had to do something to stop her children fighting. True that Jace is not her blood but he always been there for Alec and she always thought of Jace as one of her own. Izzy turned on her heels and head out from the hospital followed by Jace. 

As they reach outside Jace pulled her back trying to stop her. "Izzy wait! Would you explained yourself?" As she turned Jace saw how she was at verge of crying. He didn't think twice and pulls her into his chest for a tight hug. Izzy sobbed in his chest as he stroke her head. She pulls back from him and wiped her tears ruining her mascara and her eyeliner. Jace couldn't help but to laughed at her face being smudge and she punched him on his arm as he yells in pain. "Ow! Why did you do that?" He held his arm as Izzy start to laugh at him. "Because you're an idiot." She smiled and Jace held her shoulder. "Now would you tell me what is going on?" 

She sighed and went to sit by the bench while Jace stood before her. "Alec loves Magnus and I know Magnus has a same feeling towards him. They have been playing cats and mouse for how long now? I never seen this side of Magnus ever." Jace sighed before he spoke. "Izzy, Magnus hurt Alec and we both saw how miserable Alec got. I can't let Alec get mentally and physically tortured again by some glittery guy who doesn't appreciate him around." Izzy looked up at Jace, "That's because he's scared. He's scared that if he loves Alec it might not worked out." Jace stares at Izzy and to him doesn't matter how much he hated that guy, Alec deserve some happiness too and Izzy was right. Everybody who fells in love will have the same fear of losing their relationship and their love one. Just like how he's afraid to lose Clary one day. "Come on, lets get you home. It's late, we talk about this with him later when he's better." Izzy nodded as she stood up and they went home together.

Magnus drove back home after what happened at the hospital. As he arrives he turned the car key off and he sat back in his car recollecting his memories on what happened today. He thought that he lost Alec today but then he realized he did. He lost Alec from being his friend and for god knows how long. Alec has every reason to be mad at him and its all his fault. He sighed as he stepped out from the car and looking at his house in front of him. Now he has to face his parents and he knew how mad they are right now. As he opened the front door he was greeted not with a yell but rather a hug from his mum. He returned the hug and hide his face in her neck. He can't hold back his tears as he sobbed in their hugs. She rubbed his back softly calming her son down. Behind her is her husband looking down worriedly at their son as he rubbed his arm together. "Mags I'm sorry I yelled at you earlier. Its just we're worried and you could've call to tell us what happened." He's voice is calm and they both released from their hug looking at each other. Magnus rubbed his face from all of the tears. They pull him to the living room and he sat on the couch.

Mary stood and went to the kitchen to make some tea as she knew it would calm Magnus down. When the tea is ready she brought it to the living room along with three cups. She poured the tea in each cup and held it to Magnus and her husband. They both take it willingly. Magnus sipped it slowly and put it back on the table. "What happened?" She asked her son and they have waited patiently for some answers. "Alec got sick, he had some lungs problem since he was a kid. I bullied him at school cause I was protecting Camille but the person I should be protecting is Alec. He got stressed out so he went out every night to think and that is how he got sick." Mary rubbed his shoulder as Magnus kept on telling his story. "Mags, you can't blame yourself for that. Although I'm not happy for what you did to poor Alec but I know my son, he will make things right. As for Alec, give him time, he will come around, I'm sure." Magnus looked up to his mother and smiled weakly. As he went on, he felt his body was so exhausted and he kept on yawning. "Come on, time for bed. You've got school tomorrow anyway buddy." His father gestured as he stood up and smiled. He felt relief talking to his parents and every time he had issues, his parent are the only person that could understand him. They will never judge all the bad things that he did and putting him down but instead listen and advice accurately. 

Guys sorry for not updating much lately, work has been busy and now I'm trying not to get sick again. I just want to say, I really appreciate your comment and I'm really working hard on writing it properly. As for our #saveshadowhunter I'm really losing hope cause all the casts are. But finger-crossed, maybe they might save the show. It would be crazy if they let all the fandom down. I know I shouldn't have involved myself into this and look at where it got me.
