We were sitting in the yard, when Elizabeth, who studied in the other group, came to us and said that we had to come back to the meeting. She added that the headmaster mentioned some details about the concert. He also thanked the girls from the design faculty twice. We stood up and returned.

   Our seats were free and we took them. I was trying not to bother myself with the headmaster's speech. He seemed not to see us in the crowd. Daniel had already sat on a chair in the first row, far from Eric's seat.

   "It's really amazing that the work is very productive, but I should mention that not everything is fine, you see? Sophie," he mentioned my name and looked at me. I was shocked to hear my name at that time, "why haven't you got the stage completely ready? Are you sure that you can manage this work?"

   All the students from the college who were at the meeting turned to me to see me answering something. I saw some questions on their faces like "what does he mean?" or something else.

   "Well..." I whispered. "I just need time. I have some problems, but everything will be ready on time. Don't worry, I'll do it."

   There was a long pause after my words, but he heard me.

   "Okay, but tell me if something's wrong," the headmaster composed himself.

   I wanted him to go on speaking, but Alex White stood up and stopped him questioning. I hoped you still remembered him (the guy in the pub). He seemed worried and weird, but started to say something inappropriate.

   "I... I want to be in the group with Sophie. I can help her," Alex suggested.

    I had to repeat my words, because I could notice that Alex hadn't heard what I had said or he was just meditating.

   "I can cope with it myself. I assure you."

   The next moment I was expecting him to stop and sit down, but it didn't happen. He stammered a lot, trying to find some appropriate words to convince me to be a member of my group. Everybody wanted to know the reason why, but he answered that he was ready to help us.

   It was his usual behaviour. He was to use any means to look in a weird way in front of everyone. The headmaster promised him to discuss it later. He also added that the plan of the concert had already been confirmed, but anyway the headmaster was eager to consider his suggestions for the next concert.

   The guy was disappointed. All the students were laughing. That incident revealed the degree of Alex's stupidity. Still there was something he was gonna achieve as I thought. Or not?
