Yup!

That's how it all began, my friends :) 

Hello, this is Jemimah aka Jemi, starting off a new project, a new book.

Why them, you ask ?

Well, let's start from my journey of knowing these two. So before Alia came into the industry, I obviously like million others on this planet, crushed on Ranbir Kapoor. Adored his charm and his selection of films. That boy had talent and how! When Alia Bhatt came into my life (a lil before SOTY happened thou), I knew I'd give anything to watch these two in a rom film! They were my dream pair and little did I know that God had other plans for me and for them. 

*grins*

Brahmastra as a project of Ayan Mukherji, starring Ranlia had come around 2014/15 and I still have the countdown of that film (supposed to release by 2016 then) in my diary! YAS!

I AM A HARDCORE FAN OF THAT PROJECT!

That announcement back then was my dream come true. My dream pair coming together for my director crush Ayan's film. But then it took years to come as a solid film in making though. 

I thus started a fan account in Instagram on Oct 3, 2017 :

since I couldn't find another Ranlia FP)to ship #AlooBir and share updates on Brahmastra Film! That decision changed my life as heck! So this is where Universe played it's charm and made something that I never expected to happen :

RANBIR AND ALIA FELL IN LOVE FOR REAL!

I WAS LEGIT SHOOK !

Within no time, my page grew like a bamboo cane! I formed this gigantic family of great thinkers, amazing friends, superb shipper community and I'm proud to start it all first. Many big media page features (inc Filmfare), actor follows.... ain't bragging but just letting y'all know how far we came and what made me start this book. NEVER FELT MORE GRATEFUL 

What more did I wanted ? Got more than I deserved. Me and my Queen Alia are such lucky gals coz let's admit, ain't this a true crush turning into a fairytale of sorts thing ?

IT HELL IS ! 

Since that one year, my mind had been clouded with Ranlia imagines and when my followers came to know I'm an author here, they urged me to write something on our main ship as well. If not for my dream pair happening for real, God alone knows what would be my condition after my parents broke up(Sidlia). I had an alternative yet strong ship to sustain me through that rock hard phase! 

Therefore Ranlia are even more precious to my heart.

As I began loving them, I observed Ranbir more closely. His family, clan, habits, pets, likes/dislikes, films, talent, basically everything. I found myself falling more in love with this mysterious human. He was too genuine for his fame and at times felt too bad that he never got a PR to clean his media image.

He has earned my respect well enough. I believe him with my girl. 

THIS RELATIONSHIP IS SOMETHING MORE DEEPER THAN HE EVER HAD. MORE MAGICAL, MEANINGFUL.

Therefore everyday I dream about them. Since now I have somewhat a clue on his side of world as well, I think I can fairly manage to do a real life fanfic of both (just the way I did for my book #DWB - Sidlia) Since these days all I think and fantasize is them, hence I thought let's put the creative juices in the correct direction. 

HOW WILL I MODEL THIS BOOK ?

So, I'm certainly not in for doing a regular fanfiction like the one's I've done here. For example - Like in DWB (my other book) or books in general, a certain story track/plot is continued throughout the book. They are what you usually read in here as well but this book won't be that way. 

WHAT I'LL DO HERE IS A ONE SHOT (OS) 

Now what's a One Shot ?

A one-shot is a single, standalone piece, with a self-contained story, and not as part of an ongoing series or miniseries. You can consider it short story like. But the difference is that every chapter is a stand-alone version. The next chapter will be completely different and new. That is only one body of text. 

So I'm planning to do a timeline of Ranbir-Alia's relationship (briefing this later below) and that too in an OS format! But how ? Here's the deal : 

Every chapter would be a single piece of text except few chaps that might need a continuation in the next. Or else everything would be like little short stories compiled together in a book. I honestly can't take the risk and effort to write a standard fanfiction with lengthy tracks and stuff... so this was the safest yet nearest rescue. Thus I'll be satisfying y'all with my fantasies as well as I don't have to push my brain for coming up with new ideas on the story continuation. 

And now explaining the deal on the content. 

So, by timeline of their relation I meant a basic beginning (of what I believe was where it all began) of their meeting cum romance i.e 2018 New Year onwards (Brahmastra prep time), crossing the different phases they went together and how the romance budded all along, their families etc. Stuff that some of you guys must have already wished to know more about. 

So I'll put majority of incidents (or spottings) that have HAPPENED FOR REAL and then play along with it to create a fanfiction atmosphere.

That's what I'm wishing and hoping to do fellas!

MY RanLian fandom (Instagram, my fans/followers, Twitter) who appreciated my creative talents and when they couldn't be satisfied with the little snipbit ff's under my insta captions, they pushed and supported me to the zenith. LIKE DAMN INCREDIBLE! I cannot tell y'all how important that push was to my inner author. If not for you guys trusting and encouraging me to give this book a try, those lovely fantasies of mine regarding them would have died within me and none could have benefitted from it! 

I surely have scored a sixer of a century with my fanpage RanbirAliaFC (IG) cause swearing to Lord, never have I seen such a mad and amazing fandom ever before! The sort of dreams that have got fulfilled through the power of that page is JUST BEYOND MAGICAL & SPECTACULAR! THE REACH IS SO DARN AMAZING THAT SOMETIMES I BLINK BACK MY OWN HAPPINESS THAT HEY, I CREATED THAT PLATFORM! THE KIND OF EPIC FEATURES, NOTICES (by almost everyone in Ranlia's family including Alia), FOLLOWS (by a huge southie actress as well) AND RESPONSE IS SO FREAKIN LEGENDARY, STUFF THAT HAPPENS RARELY TO A SHIPPER ACCOUNT! THINGS THAT ARE PURELY DREAMISH & WILL ONLY HAPPEN WITH A DREAM SHIPPER ! (aka me :) 

So, Thank you sooooooooo very much for backing this laaaaazzzyy human and making her believe in her own magic. Making sure to stand with her and giving her your immense love. 

All my RK fandom friends who welcomed me into their world of Ranbirians with warmth and LOVE. People who fell in love with Ranlia, by seeing my insane love for them, THANK YOU!
