Kay's POV:
I was in my bakery cooking more cookies for Mania and Eliori, "hey?" I look up to see Jakey and Bryan "hey guys, how are you?" I ask putting the cookies in the oven. "I heard from a little Birdy that you are dating someone?" Bryan asks "oh, yeah me and Viper are dating" "wait Viper?" Bryan seems worried "yeah why?" "I'm sorry I need to talk with Jakey" they walk out. "That was odd" I go back to baking.
The next day Viper come to talk to me at my bakery. "You want to go on a date?" I ask "do we have to?" "No I just thought-" "great I have a guild hall to clean we can tonight if that good" he walks out not wanting for my answer. "That was..." "hey kay" Mania walks in with a basket "hey Mania how are you?" "I great! How are you?" "Oh I'm ok" "is something wrong?" She asks "no I'm good it's just... never mind it's nothing" "ok, you can talk to me about anything, yeah?" "Yeah... did you need something?" "Oh yes, you said you would make me cookies yesterday?" "Oh yes one second" I walk over to a cupboard I open it it's got a small box with bags of cookies I get two small bags for Mania "here" I smile "thank you, oh I brought you some ingredients I didn't know what you needed but I got you some eggs and milk oh and chocolate chips" She smiles "thank you, if you need anything else just ask" "I will have a good day" she waves.
I bake for a few hours before cleaning up the bakery, as I finish I let out a sigh "long day?" I look up to see Jakey with Oliver in his arms. "Yeah a bit" I smile "you wanna watch a movie?" "Yes... actually I have a date with Viper" "oh ok another time" he smiles "yeah have a good night" "you to" he walks out.
I walk over to Grimshade's new guild hall to find Viper I knock on the door a boy with black hair opens the door. "Hey?" "Hi I'm Kay I'm looking for Viper?" "Oh I'm Seek... are you from the protectors?" "Yes why?" "Oh I just did a quest with Jakey" he smiles "oh he's my best friend!" "Yeah sorry you wanted to see Viper?" "Can I ask why?" "We'll we had a date tonight" "oh your dating?" "Did he not mention it?" "No he didn't I'll take you to his room" we walk upstairs. "What do you think of Viper?" Seek asks "Oh I think his kind and sweet and-" "you do?" Seek cuts me off "yeah why?" I ask as we get to Viper's room "doesn't matter" he says opening the door. "Viper?" I ask his room was empty "maybe he's with Al" see says "Al?" "It's what my boyfriend call our guild leader I guess it's rubbed off on me" he smirks "oh who are you dating?" "Oh Colin" "oh I think I remember him was he in the grand magic games?" "I think so" "this is Al's room" he opens the door a man with white and purple hair was doing paperwork. "Yes?" He looks up "oh Seek who's the friend?" "This is Kay she's from the protectors she's looking for Viper their dating" Seek explains "oh wonderful- I'm sorry it seems Patrick wants to come out" "what?" I ask "he shares a body with a guild mate" Seek explains "Seek, I need you to leave this is Patrick" "ok me and Colin are gonna go on a quest we will be back later" Seek walks off.
"Look Kay I don't know why you are dating Viper but please you know what he's like" Patrick says "what? Why would you know?" "Look I know what he's like I've known him for over a year please be careful" "what?" I ask confused "please if you need help go to someone" "ok? Do you know where he is?" I ask "Allumos will one second" he closes his eyes when he opens them their red and and black "Allumos?" "Yes I'm sorry for him he's a dad he gets protective of youngsters" he explains "I see do you know where Viper is?" "He's training with Jericho and Marshie" "oh he said we would go on a date tonight" "oh I'm sorry I told him the s'morning I don't know why he would make plans and not follow though with them if he did" "it's fine it's not the first time" "oh he does?" "Yeah I get it he's busy with stuff" "kay are you ok?" "Why does everyone keep asking me that?" "Your friends are probably just looking out for you" he smiles "but I'm fine" "that's good now run alone I need to finish this paperwork" "oh ok bye" I walk out of his office/room.
As I get home I look over to Jakey's house I see Eliori, Bryan, Alex, LoPho and Jakey watching a movie. "Hey Kay your back Jakey told me you had a date how was it?" "Oh he was busy training some of his guild mates" "oh well do you want to go to Jakey's movie night?" "Sure why weren't you there already?" "I wanted to go but I wanted to make sure you got back safe" "oh thanks" I smile "let's go to Jakey's now" she drags me over to his house. We walk upstairs "Kay!" Jakey says excited "hey guys" I giggle "hello" Eliori greets me as Alex waves and Bryan smiles "how was the date?" Jakey asks "it went well" I smile "yeah she told me all the details" mania covers for me "what date?" Lo'Pho asks "I'll tell you later" Bryan says "so what movie are we watching?" I ask "we're watching Toy story 2" Alex small smiles "oh I love that movie" I sit next to Mania on a beanbag.
After the movie night everyone went back home I walk into find Viper "oh hey" I smile "hmm" he stands up walking over to me "are you here for our date before it's a little late-" "late?" He asks "well I did go to Grimshade and you were training some people" I explain "we'll I'm here now" "I'm tired can we go on a date another time?" "What ever!" "oh quite being so rude!" I snap "I-I'm Sorry" I cover my mouth "you!" He slaps me on the cheek my eyes begin to fill with tears "how dare you!" I hear someone yell I sit one the ground shocked from what just happened. "Why you!" "No get out!" "Why do you care!" I hear Viper and someone yells.
"What ever I'm out!" I feel my sense come back to me I look around seeing Viper walking away limping "what?" I whisper "are you ok?" Mania asks looking at my face "what happened?" I ask "that dick just hit you" she says rubbing my cheek "thanks I didn't expect him to do that he probably didn't mean it he was just mad" "Kay please I know your smart I love you and you know he doesn't I know deep down you know it's true you just wanted to feel like you were wanted by someone and you are but he doesn't care about you" he hugs me "I know" I cry into her shoulder. "It's ok" she pats my head "what happened?" Lo'Pho walks in "n-nothing I stutter "why did Viper walk out of here with a limp a blood nose and a cut on his shoulder?" "Lo'Pho please leave I'll tell you later if Kay's ok with it" Mania say stroking my hair "ok have a good night" he walks off "now you need sleep would you like some Ice for your cheek?" She asks "no I'll be alright" I smile.
