Lucy's POV

I watch in astonishment as Levy, the deer, was turning on the computer AND TYPING IN THE OTHER CARETAKER'S PASSWORD!!!

"Wait, what?! Levy you can read and write?"

She nods her head yes.

"Does anyone else knows? Did the last caretaker know?"

She pulls word document up. I watch as she type:

No. For both question.

I look at her speechless. I don't know what to do. I know a deer that can FREAKING READ AND WRITE!!!!

"Is this how we can communicate?"

I can also write using a paper and pen.

Dang. This deer knows a lot.

"Ok. Is there anything you want so I can get it for you next time?"

A book please.

"Ok. I can do that. Let's go now," I say as we leave. I lock the shed up as we walk back to the deer pen. The zoo is about to open. I get Levy back into the pen and lock it. I walk around and take care of the deer. I see Jet and Droy watching me as I work.

Levy's POV

I walk in back into my pen as I see Jet and Droy.

"LEVY," they exclaim as the walk up to me.

"Where were you?! We were so worried," Jet tells me.

"I went for a walk. Is there a problem with that," I ask them.

"No. We just wanted to make sure you are safe," Droy says.

"I'm fine guys. I can take care of myself," I tell them as I walk over to my usual place to chill.

I look out to see a visitor watching me as I sit down. Jet and Droy are bucking heads again to try and get my attention again...why can't they give it a break? I'm not into them! They are like my big brothers. I sigh as I take a nap.

Gajeel's POV

"Gajeel-Kun! Juvia is here," I hear Rain Woman say as she walks over to me. "How with Gajeel-Kun doing?"

She pets me as I place one of my black paws onto her head.

"That is good. The visitors are going to come soon. Juvia wanted to tell Gajeel-Kun before the noise starts since Juvia knows Gajeel-Kun have sensitive hearing."

Yeah. My senses are better than normal lions. Mush be what they did to me to make that happen. I stand up as I walk out of my cave. I close my eyes and then open them as I look around. I paddle up to the water pond that they have for me here. I step in and walk through the pond to the flat rock in the center, where I usually stay for the day. I yawn as I lay my head down to take a nap. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

Levy's POV

I open my eyes to feel someone petting me. I look up to see Lucy's smiling face looks at me.

"Hey Levy. Lunch time."

I stand up as I walk down to where Lucy have put our food. Jet and Droy are already there eating. I walk over and eat some. After I'm full, I walk out and look at all of the people. I sigh as Jet and Droy tries and flirt with me. SAVE ME LUCY!!!!! I try and ignore their attempts, so I go to Lucy. She is in the back and I walk over to her and put my nose into her hand.

"Hey Levy. Are they trying to flirt with you again?"

I nod my head as she sigh.

"Alright. I need to ask Makarov something. Then I will be right back," Lucy says as she leaves as I nod my head.

Lucy leaves and I see the new password that she typed in. Now I can get out! Again...

Lucy's POV

After taking care of them, I walk to Makarov's office. I knock on the door and open it.

"Ah you must me Lucy. How is everything?"

"It's going great! The deer are nice."

"That's good."

"I have an idea that might be fun."

"Which is?"

"Maybe a petting zoo. We can take some of the animals, that are fine with people touching them, into a big area and it can be a learning experience."

"Hmmm...sounds like a great idea!"

"That's good."

"Alright. After closing you can bring it up at the Staff meeting and we can see what the others think of it."

"That you Makarov!"

"You can call me Gramps. Everyone calles me that."

"Ok Gramps," I say as I leave and head back to Levy.

Levy's POV

I sigh as I walk around in my pen. I look at the entrance, thinking about leaving this place and getting away from Jet and Droy. I think about it, then head over to the entrance to our pen. Jet and Droy haven't notice that I left yet. I punch the code in and the light turns green. I open it slightly and head out. I close the door and head out of find Lucy. I weave in between the visitors. I pass by different pens that holds different animals. I see a thin crowd around one pen and decide to check it out. I am able to get around everyone as I look into the pen to see a raven lion sitting on a flat rock surrounded by water. His crimson eyes flight through the crowd as they land on me.

"How did a deer get out," he ask me.

"I'm smarter that the other two," I tell him.

"And how is that?"

"I can read and write," I tell him.

"That's cool. The name's Gajeel," the lion tells me.

"I'm Levy. How is your day?"

"Loud and noise. Yers?"

"Two buck trying to flirt with me when I don't have any interest in them. Other than that, it have been fine," I tell Gajeel.

"This zoo is nicer that the one I as at," Gajeel says. "No one is throwing things at me."

"That's sad to hear. What zoo where you at before you came here?"

"Phantom Lord," he says as I gasp. "Yeah i know. It was horrible."

"I-I like your fur color. It's unique and it is yours," I tell Gajeel.

"Yers too. How did it get blue?"

"I don't know. I don't know much about my past."

"Makes two of us. Don't know how I'm not the regular tan color either."

I nod my head and look around. I get this great idea as I look at Gajeel.

"Hey Gajeel! Where do the entrance to your pen?"

"Why are ya wondering?"

"I was just wondering."

"It's around back. It's in my cave."

"Alright! I have to go before people notice me. It was nice talking to you," I tell him as I start to leave.

"You too," I hear Gajeel call as I make my way to his pen entrance.

I get there and look at the padlock. I blow my hot breath onto it. I see 6 of the 9 numbers glow up. I punch in the ones that are close to fading first and then the one that is clear last. The light turn from red to green as I open it up. I close the gate behind me as I walk in. My hooves make a ringing sound as I enter the cave. I walk to the front to see Gajeel and left the rock and he walks over to the cave entrance.

"It's me. The blue deer," I tell Gajeel
