Mirajane and Y/n where identical twins. They where both very Gothic. Although, for Mirajane, it was only a stage, for Y/n... that was just who she was. 

Mira and Y/n where both very protective of Lisanna. Mira and Y/n formed a team immediately after becoming s-class mages. 

They called themselves the Shadow Demons. As Y/n was a shadow Devil slayer and Mira used take over demon souls.

It was one of the few times that Y/n left on a job without Mira. While was clear that Y/n was the more powerful of the two, they where practically joint at the hip. Wherever one sibling went, the other followed.

Mirajane sighed as she twirled a ring on her pointer finger. It had been a gift from Y/n on their 10th birthday. She couldn't help but feel a little jealous that her sister was spending more time with Erza than her. 

Erza had made a good impression on Y/n and they had become friends since the day Erza strolled into the guild. 

Mira let out another sigh before standing up from her seat and stretched her limbs. 

Since she couldn't help but feel a little left out, Mira decided to go on a s-class job with Elfman and Lisanna, thinking they could handle it. After all, it was just a beast, right?

However, on their job, everything started to go wrong. Elfman tried to take over the beast soul and ended up being consumed by the terrifying beast. Lisanna was rounding up all the villagers for evacuation.

Mira was fighting Elfman with her last strength until she just collapsed. Tears slid down Mira's cheeks. Y/n, she would be devastated, everyone would be devastated.

Unbeknownst to Mira, Y/n was ridding over to the burning town. She had heard that Mira and her other siblings had gone on a s-class job there. If the town was down in flames, something must've gone wrong.

Y/n prayed that Mira was alright, because she didn't know what she would do if Mira was hurt or worse. She urged her shadow mare to greater speeds, feeling her muscles strain with the effort.

After what felt like years, they finally reached the town. Y/n leaped of her faithful steed and sprinted to the center of town, where she could see a beast of some sort raging.

She felt her eyes widen as she saw Mira shrinking away from the beast in fear. She scanned her surroundings, Lisanna and Elfman where nowhere is sight. Where could they be?

Y/n prayed for their saftey before spotting Lisanna standing in front of Mira. Y/n wanted to scream, to shout a warning at Lisanna. But her throat felt dry and weak. 

Lisanna spread her arms wide and put a friendly smile on her face, " Big brother Elfman, please come home with us. You know we love you." Lisanna said in a soft voice. ( I don't know what she actually said. Someone please tell me)

Y/n's eyes widened as she found out that the beast was actually Elfman, the little brother she loved to death, even if she wouldn't admit it.

Y/n tried to stretch an arm out to Lisanna, to pull her behind her. To protect her, something that she needed to do. Instead, to her dismay, Y/n's feet seemed to be glued to the ground. Only when Elfman's arm came down, could she move again. 

She tried to jump in front of Lisanna, only to be too late, as Lisanna's body went sailing with the force put behind Elfman's blow.

Y/n let out a heart wrenching shriek as an important person in her life was ripped away from her. She turned to face Elfman with nothing but rage in her eyes. Mira let out a sob and ran towards the place she had seen Lisanna fall. 

When Y/n attacked Elfman, her blows where precise and hard. Anger behind every blow as she yearned to avenge Lisanna, not caring that the person she was hurting was her brother.

She let lose a powerful Shadow Devil's Rage, hoping that Elfman would go down and she wouldn't have to hurt him anymore. 

Elfman staggered for a moment before falling on his face. Y/n didn't turn to look back at him before running over to Lisanna's prone body.

Mira was holding Lisanna's body as it shimmered and floated away into the wind. Y/n looked on with sadness when Lisanna's body dissipated. Y/n turned to Mira and hugged her, finally letting her tears fall.

That day, all of Fairy Tail mourned with them.
