"Huh?" Natsu asked.

"Hold out your hand.." I said.

Natsu hesitated for a moment.

He looked me in the eyes in a serious manner and held out his hand.

"Natsu, will you allow me to borrow your power?" I asked.

"Yes." Natsu said sternly.

I clasped his hand.

'I had a dream..That person told me I could use another's power..and..I need to get rid of this trauma once and for all, what better way than to do it with Natsu's power.'

"Natsu, I'm honored you gave me this opportunity. I promise, I will not besmirch the power of Igneel..of Natsu.." I said.

"I know you won't." Natsu smiled.

Natsu's hand lit on fire. Also lighting my hand on fire.

I had flashbacks of laying there..Just burning away under that god forsaken, blazing piece of wood.

My body grew cold.
My oxygen escaped my lungs.
My heart filled with terror.

But then..I noticed that these flames..weren't hot at all. They were warm. A cozy feeling, like home.

I exhaled deeply.

'Don't be scared..Don't be scared..You're a demon, (F/N). Burning away in hell is second nature to demons. It can't hurt me anymore..Besides..It's different this time..This time, these flames will protect me.'

I looked up at Natsu.

Natsu gave me this look, this familiar expression that reminds me so much of him.

Right before he died, the last thing that he said, those three frightening words that only scared me more-

"Don't be afraid." Natsu said.

I held a wistful smile on my face for a few moments.

I absorbed his red flames.

My veins grew red as Natsu's power passed by. All the way from my hand, up my arm, and to my heart my veins glowed.

My body grew warm.

Flames rested on my entire body.
My hair was replaced by flames, but was oddly enough, still straight and long.

Natsu's eyes widened a little at the sight of my flames.

"A beautiful white.." Natsu muttered.

"Beautiful, huh? Yeah..that word describes these flames down to the very core." I said, my eyes lost in the flames.

"Come on, we got a score to settle." I said.

"Damn right!" Natsu said.

"Hey, what the hell are those?" Natsu said, looking up in the sky.

There were hundreds of yellow lacryma forming a circle in the sky as wide as the whole town.

"That's lightning magic, for sure. I can sense it. Everyone of them is overflowed with lightning magic..Damn..enough so that it could destroy the entire town if each one of them exploded simultaneously." I said.

No way..How do we get them down!?" Natsu said frantically.

"I'm..not sure. I've never seen anything like this before. I have to test it out before we can do anything. Stand back." I said.

Natsu stepped back a little.

"What are you gonna do?" Natsu asked.

"Come to me, blade of the Archdemon Queen." I said, holding out my hand.

My katana appeared in my right palm.

"What? it looks different..The other one didn't have a sheathe..There's a dragon on the koiguchi. The guard is the dragon's wings. How pretty..wait a second..I don't feel it sapping my power at all. Does that mean..I can have it equipped without having to worry about my power diminishing?" I asked myself, feeling excited.

"Well..looks like i'm going to be carrying you for now on. Douzo yoroshiku." I said with a smile.

I held my katana two my side with two hands.

I aimed at one of the lacryma and quickly sliced the air. A small, sharp wave of black energy was sent straight for the lacryma. The recoil made me slide back a couple feet, almost making me lose my balance.

"What the hell!? It's so much more powerful than before! And I can control how much power I put into it. Just what is going on?" I said to myself, shocked.

I watched as my attack sliced the lacryma very cleanly, destroying it.

All of a sudden the packed lightning was coming straight for me. It was to fast. I know Lightning travels two hundred and twenty million miles per hour. But this lightning doubled the speed of regular lightning.

Out of reflex, I teleported beside Natsu.

Lightning struck the ground, creating a crater a few hundred feet deep.

"I thought so, Organic Link Magic..what the hell are you thinking, Laxus. That would probably put someone in a near death situation. He's planning on destroying the entire town.." I said.

"What!? And what's Organic Link Magic?" Natsu yelled.

I attached my katana to my lower back.

"Natsu, what do you think? Katana placed on my lower back, or on my side?" I asked.

"Umm..your lower back. I've never seen someone place it on their lower back. It looks kind of cool." Natsu said.

"Why thankyou. Anyways, In this case, the magic is rigged to shock you if you destroy one of the lacryma.
My telapathy won't reach everyone in town..I got an idea, I've been waiting for an opportunity like this to try it out." I said.

"Try what out?" Natsu asked.

I closed my eyes. I inhaled and exhaled deeply.

I placed my hand on my chest and opened my eyes. Both my eyes turned white.

I could see many glowing spots all around town. This vision is kind of like x-ray and thermal vision. I can see through anything except cloth. Yeah, so that means I can't perv on girls. Which I'm completely fine with. The glowing spots are souls, which is kind of like thermal vision.

I sent a little over a hundred soul spikes into the air to search for only the golden souls. Each one of them impaled my guild mates through their heart.

All of a sudden, I heard many people shout in pain.

"What the hell is going on? A spike impaled me straight through my heart. But I'm still alive!"

"Ahh! Get it out! It's making me nauseous!"

Many of them said.

"It's okay. Don't be afraid, it's just me, (F/N)." I said.

"(F/N)?" They all said.

"I'm using these spikes to speak straight to your heart. Think of it as telapathy. Do you see the lacryma in the sky? Each one of them is packed full of lightning. And i'm pretty sure Laxus intends to blow up all of Magnolia." I said.

"What!?"

"What does he think he's doing!?"

"That idiot!"

Everyone was furious.

"It's okay, as long as we can get them down, Laxus won't have anything else to threaten us with." I said.

"And how in the hell do you think were going to get them down, huh!? Were human! We'll die if it shocks us! Were not all demons like you, (F/N)! Were not all immortal like you! How about you take them down all by yourself, damn it!?" Max yelled.

Natsu grabbed my shoulder and shouted in my ear.

"Hey! That's going way to far! (F/N) has done nothing wrong to deserve those words, you asshole!! Who in the hell said that!? I'll kick your ass!! Don't talk to my friend like that!!" Natsu yelled, furiously.

I turned my head and looked at him. He was gritting his teeth and..there were tears in his eyes.

"Natsu..he didn't mean it. Everyone is just stressed. It's okay. It doesn't hurt me one bit." I said.

'I wish that was the case. But that actually did hurt..I never wanted one of my good friends to yell at me like that. It's like when your father yells at you when you do something bad..and you feel so guilty about it, a lump forms in your throat and you just cry..cry your eyes out until your father hugs you and says he's sorry.' I said to myself.

"YOU..SON OF A BITCH!! HOW DARE YOU MAKE (F/N) FEEL THAT WAY!!" Natsu yelled.

"Aww..man..i'm sorry. I..didn't mean to yell at you. I'm so sorry." Max said, crying.

"Huh? Did you hear what I said just now?" I said, my face pitch red.

"Y-Yeah.." Everyone said.

'Damn it! This technique allows people to hear into others hearts! Oh my god..that's so embarrassing.'

I burried my face in my hands and stayed like that for a few seconds.

"We umm..can still here you." Alzack said.

"I love you, (F/N)." A voice said.

"Huh? Who said that?" I asked.

"I'm not sure, it sounded like someone just confessed to you, man." Gray said.

"Ohhhh, she luuuuuvs him!" Happy said.

"R-Really..how sweet. B-But..we umm..have a more serious problem at the moment." I said, blushing.

"Tch..filthy human." Another voice said.

"Who was that this time?" Droy asked.

'That was definatley Kitsu..' I said to myself.

"D-Damn.." Jet said.

"(F/N)! Stop telling on me!" Kitsu yelled.

"Ahhh! Damn it! I'm never using this way of speaking ever again! Let's hurry and get this over with!" I yelled, frustrated.

"A-Anyways..like I was saying. We need to find a way to get all of these lacryma down, but i already have a plan now..Erza, i know this is asking a lot, but i need you to summon two hundred swords on the east side. Don't worry about power, i'm transferring a small fraction of my power over to you now. Eveyone else, start hitting them with your magic on the west, north, south side. I already have a plan for when the magic hits you. So you don't have to worry about that." I said.

"What's the plan for that, then?" Lucy asked.

"You trust me, Lucy?" I asked in a soft voice.

"Of course I do.." Lucy said softly.

"Then trust me. We don't have much time left, hurry everyone!" I said.

"Thank you for lending me your power, (F/N)." Erza said.

"Don't mention it. You earned it for what you're about to do." I said.

I pulled the spikes back to me. And they went back into my heart.

"Thankyou for taking up for me, Natsu..You're a good friend." I said.

"It's only natural I'd do that for my best friend." Natsu said with his usual cheerful smile, which made me smile, to.

"Okay, are you ready to take Laxus out?" I said.

"Hell yeah!" Natsu said, igniting his fist in flames.

In the meantime,

Everyone else was getting ready to destroy the lacryma.

Erza was already at her eighty seventh sword . I know (F/N) said two hundred. But that's not enough. Besides, his power is unbelievable, I feel like I could summon thousands of swords. But unfortunately, we don't have that much time." Erza said.

Laxus p.o.v

"Well, well..if it isn't Mystogan." Laxus said.

(F/N)'s p.o.v

Natsu and I flew straight through the ceiling of the cathedral and we both sent a roar at Laxus.

"What the hell!?" Laxus yelled in a panick.

Our roar's hit Laxus. Parts of the cathedral couldn't take the pressure and some of the walls broke and pieces of the ceiling caved in.

"We got em'" Natsu said with a smirk.

"No-"

A lightning fist had already impacted my jaw before I could say anything.

I flew through a pillar and through the cathedral wall and landed outside.

"You're kidding?" I said, getting back on my feet.

"That was pretty powerful." I said, pushing my jaw back into place.

Natsu's eyes widened.

"(F/N), are you okay?" Natsu asked.

"I'm fi- Who is that?" I asked pointing at a masked man.

He was carrying a few staffs.

"Huh?..That's Mystogan.." Natsu said.

"I've heard of you." I said to Mystogan.

"And I've also heard of you. (F/N) the demon." Mystogan said.

"Just (F/N) is fine." I said.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I..was fighting Laxus. But that changed when you two came crashing in-"

Before Mystogan could finish his sentence, Laxus shot lightning at Mystogan's face, removing his hood and mask.

He looked just like Jellal. Or rather it basically was him.

Mystogan looked like he was ashamed of his self.

"Jellal!!" Natsu yelled.

I stopped Natsu.

"It's okay..It's not him." I said.

"Bullshit!" Natsu yelled.

"I know it looks like him, but it isn't. Trust me on this, yeah?" I said.

"Fine.." Natsu said.

"How are you so sure?" Mystogan asked.

"A demon god's intuition." I said with a smile.

"So..you really are half demon, half god." Laxus said.

I stared at Laxus with furious eyes.

"You think..you can take over the guild? You think you can just throw our master out, our friends?..Our family? Even if hell freezes over and heaven burns to the ground, you will never have a chance at being master. Not like the way you are now.." My eyes turned dark red. And I tapped into the power Natsu gave me.

White flames took over my whole body.

Laxus smirked.

"I suppose I can leave this to you then?" Mystogan said.

"Please do. Thanks for keeping him busy, Mystogan." I said.

"Don't worry about it..(F/N)." Mystogan said.

"Natsu, go help the others." I said.

"Huh!? But I can take him!" Natsu said.

"I know you can! But Erza and the others are in more need of help right now. So please..help them." I said.

"..Damn it..alright. You better kick his ass, (F/N)!" Natsu said, running out of the cathedral.

"Are you sure you can beat me all on your own, pretty boy?" Laxus said.

I smiled a sinister smile and giggled. Whenever I get like this, that demon in me wakes up. My flames flickered from black to white again.

"I may not be stronger than you..but i swear, I will defeat you one way or another, Laxus." I said.

Laxus felt a chill run up his spine.

"Well..what are you waiting-"

I teleported in front of Laxus and punched him in his stomach, using the flames as a booster to strengthen the blow.

He flew outside of the cathedral after breaking the wall.

"That's payback from earlier. Now..let's start shall we?" I said.

Laxus got on his feet and laughed.

"My adrenaline is pumping now." Laxus said with a smirk.

He teleported behind me and tried to punch me in the face.

I grabbed his arm and threw him over my shoulders and into the ground as hard as I could.

His body exploded with lightning, blowing me away.

I managed to land safely but Laxus was already in front of me, his fist aiming for my side.

'Shit..did he notice my wound!?' I said to myself in a panick.

I quickly stopped his fist with my hand and slid back a couple feet.

He tried everything he could to hit my weak spot.

He sent lightning after me.

He threw fast punches at me.

He tried to get close to me and explode his self again, just to weaken me.

Laxus stopped.

I teleported to the other side of the room. Now I was on the defensive.

"Well..you sure are protecting your side an awful lot." Laxus said.

"You sure are aiming at my side an awful lot." I replied.

"You can't hide it. Look, your shirt is stained with blood." Laxus said, pointing at my side.

I looked down at my side.

My wound had re opened.

'Tch..guess I have no choice.' I said to myself.

I grabbed a a piece of metal debris and heated it up with Natsu's flames.

I raised my shirt up and stuck the metal pipe to my side.

I clenched my teeth but didn't make a sound.

"What a trooper..If it was me, I definitely would have made some kind of sound. Really good job." Laxus said, clapping.

I threw the pipe at him as hard as I could.

Of course, he dodged it, and it stuck into the wall.

"Well..let's get back to it. My thunder palace will be going off real soon."
Laxus said.

"I'm assuming you referring to the lacryma in the sky?" I asked.

"That's it, only nine minutes left." Laxus said.

I started to get Impatient.

I got closer to him.

"Demon God: Quake!"

I punched the ground, sending a shockwave towards Laxus.

I managed to him him, but it didn't do enough damage.

"Demon God: Roaaaar!"

I hit Laxus with a wave of black energy and white flames.

I managed to cause a great deal of damage with that attack.

'I have to hurry.'

"Fine, if you won't go down easy, i'll just have to use this instead." Laxus said.

Lightning shot out from his eyes and mouth as his muscles grew twice his regular size.

"LIGHTNING DRAGON: ROAAAAAR!!!"

A gigantic wave of lightning magic hit me point blank. I flew into the cathedral's wall.

I tried to catch my breath and coughed up blood.

I was still attached to the wall.

And then I realized..

Oh, how unlucky I was.

I looked down and seen a metal pipe sticking out of my stomach.

That pipe I tried to hit Laxus with earlier..came back around and ended up impaling me instead.

I threw up nothing but a puddle of blood.

Laxus had the look of guilt and concern in his eyes.

"(F/N)!" Laxus yelled out of concern.

I placed my bloodied hands on the wall and pushed myself off of the pipe. I fell to the ground weakly.

"This is it..I really might not be able to pull through this time.." I muttered.

"You idiot! It's your fault! I might as well put you out of your misery!" Laxus yelled.

I laid there on my back, looking up at the ceiling.

He walked up to me and raised his fists over his head.

"Lightning Jaw!!"

Laxus swung his fists down.

Everything went in slow motion.

A bright blood red light shone above me. There hand reached out for mine.

Who's hand was it?

I couldn't see their face.

I felt compelled to take it.

As soon as I did..everything went black. A voice in the back of my mind said,

'Your Highness..I'm a good friend of your parents. You can trust me. Please..let me heal you..And accept a small portion of my power.' They said.

'N-No..I can't keep letting people help me..how pathetic can I get?..' I said.

I felt a sudden rush of power and adrenaline course through my body.

My blood soaked back up in my body and my wound healed completely in a matter of seconds.

I opened my black and white eyes.

I lifted my hand and grabbed his fists with ease.

That same bloodlust from before rushed to the surface.

I wanted to see blood rain from the sky.

I tightened my grip on him, shattering his wrist.

Laxus cried out in pain.

I stood up.

"Laxus..please, run. I know you're a good person, so i don't want to hurt you. I'm afraid..I won't be able to stop myself until it's to late." I said with a satisfying smile. I looked up at him with tears in my eyes.

"Soul explosion.."

My body glowed red. The ethernano is the atmosphere started to get sucked into my body.

My soul and body exploded.

This attack is more powerful than two Jupiter cannons combined. But it's dangerous. It damages my soul greatly. If I did it again, my soul would probably diminish.

The cathedral was no where to be found. All that was left was a crater.

The explosion tore my clothes.

Laxus managed to get away through his teleportation.

I looked at Laxus with rage in my eyes.

I teleported behind him and punched him in the ribs with all my might.

I felt his ribs crack and shatter.

He flew into and destroyed a different building.

I went into the building and grabbed him by his neck and pulled him out.

I smashed his face into the cement multiple times until his face was covered in blood.

Tears ran down my emotionless face.

He tried to punch me with his other fist.

I grabbed it and snapped his arm.

He was past the point of screaming in pain..instead..he didn't make a single sound.

I grabbed his arm and threw him with all the power I had halfway across town.

He was finished.

I stood there, staring at the ground.

"(F/N)..?"

No one's p.o.v

I couldn't believe what I was seeing..(F/N) almost killed Laxus. I was standing there, just a couple feet away from him.

My body was shaking in terror.

He started to turn around. I wanted to run.

He looked at me with his black and white eyes..tears streaming down his face.

"Levy.." He muttered.

A lump formed in my throat. My eyes watered at the sight of him.

His eyes turned back to his original red and white.

He fell onto his hands and knees and coughed up blood. His shirt was halfway torn. There was a whole through his stomach. Blood ran to the ground like a small waterfall.

(F/N)'s p.o.v

Levy ran up to me crying her eyes out.

"(F/N)!! (F/N)!!" Levy screamed my name.

"What do I do!? Please..tell me what to do.." Levy cried.

She wrapped her arms around me and cried on my shoulder.

My vision was blurry.

I looked up to the sky and seen magic and swords flying towards the lacryma.

'Here it comes...' I said to myself.

I let go of Levy and crawled on my right hand and knees a safe distance away from her. I held onto the hole in my stomach.

"(F/N)..where are you going?" Levy got up and walked over to me.

The lacryma were destroyed.

Suddenly, huge amounts of lightning struck me.

Levy fell back from the blast.

I couldn't even make a sound anymore.

Whenever I spoke to the others using soul spikes, I used a soul link to take half of there damage when the lightning struck them.

'Dammit..how many times will I go home half dead..I don't want to see my friends worry like that ever again. Please..someone..help me help help them.'

I finally lost consciousness.

'Yes, your highness.'

Levy's p.o.v

Lightning blew me onto the ground as it hit (F/N). I tried to grab him and shield him but I got blown back again.

After the lightning went away, he fell to the ground unconscious.

I screamed his name from the top of my lungs.

I thought for sure he was dead.

I heard footsteps running towards me.

I looked up and seen an older white haired boy wearing a kimono and an eyepatch, running towards us.

He looked extremely worried.

"Your highness!" He yelled.

"Please, help him!" I cried.

"Don't worry, he's going to be just fine. I'll heal him." He said.

He laid (F/N) flat on the ground and held his right hand over his wound.  (F/N)'s blood started to flow back inside his body. In just a couple seconds, all of his visible wounds and blood were restored.

"He's going to be fine. But, I don't think he'll be waking up anytime soon." He said.

I smiled and cried even more.

"Thank you so much.." I said.

All of a sudden, (F/N) opened his eyes and leaned up, holding his hand over his left side.

"(F/N)! How are you feeling?" I asked.

"I..I'm okay.." He whispered.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"I..think so." He said.

He was breathing fast and deep.

"(F/N)..what's wrong? Why are you breathing so heavily?" I asked worridly.

"My..-"

All of a sudden he held his hand over his mouth.

Blood ran through his fingers and down his neck.

"Your highness!"
"(F/N)!" We both said in unison.

"I'll be okay. That pipe must have went through my left lung as well." He said.

"Can you heal him again!?" I asked the white haired boy.

He clenched his teeth.

"No..I'm sorry..It will be awhile before I can use my healing curse again..I can only heal what I know is damaged. I didn't know his lung was injured as well." He said.

(F/N) looked at him.

(F/N)'s p.o.v

"I am..very grateful for you healing me." He said.

"N-No! No thanks necessary, your highness! I promised your mother and father I would watch over you for as long as I lived." He said.

My eyes widened.

"M-My mother and father..?" I asked. My voice shaking.

"Yes. The day before..they passed away, his and her Majesty asked me to watch over you if anything happened to them." He said.

I clenched my teeth.

"The day before they passed away..huh?" I asked.

He looked confused.

I grabbed his kimono.

"Where..Where were you when my parents were killed..? You must have noticed something was wrong when they asked you to watch over me if something happened to them. Where were you when my father was fighting off their murderer's!!? Where were you when I was crying all alone!!?" Tears started to run down my face. "Where were you for all these years!!?" I screamed.

I laid my head on his chest.

"I was all alone..and I wanted so desperately for someone to come and hold me and tell me everything was going to be okay. I was so scared and lost. Every night I cried myself to sleep. Every morning I woke up wanting to end it all and go where my mom and dad went..I watched as my own mother died in my arms and there was nothing I could do..I watched as my own father turned to ashes..and there was nothing I could do.."

I cried in his chest without holding any tears or screams back.

Levy wrapped her arms around my waist from behind and laid her head on my back.

"I'm so sorry, your highness..I went into hiding after your parents passed. But..I was always watching over you. I know how you cried yourself to sleep at night. And how you tossed and turned in your sleep..I'm so sorry I couldn't show myself sooner. Tartaros killed off almost every demon in the underworld. The leader, Mard Geer, has taken the king's throne. Honestly, I was frightened. No..terrified. If their strength could defeat your father and mother..They could easily kill me without breaking a sweat." He said.

"No! They were nowhere near stronger than my father..He..died because he protected me. If I wasn't there, he'd still be here today. You don't have to spare my feelings and say it's not true because it is." I said.

"Maybe it is true..But you're still here with us today. I couldn't be anymore grateful for what your father did for you. He left us a fine king.." He said.

I stopped crying. I realized it wasn't his fault for what happened to my parents. I felt guilty.

"I'm sorry.." I whispered.

"Don't be. I'll put up with anything if it makes you happier. Your mother and father..meant a lot to me. At least you can say you are not hurting alone anymore." He said with a kind smile. But his eyes were filled with sadness.

His eyes showed everything. How he was crying inside.

I wiped my tears away.

I placed my hand on Levy's.

"I'm sorry..I'm okay now. I'm sorry for worrying you, Levy." I said.

"It's okay, really..I'm just happy you're okay." She said.

"Yeah. I'm okay." I said.

I gave her the biggest smile I could to reassure her everything was going to be okay.

"What's your name?" I asked the man.

"My name is Heylel, it means light bringer or morning star. But you can call me..Lucifer." He said.

"Haylel..Lucifer..Lucifer. Yes, Lucifer is easier to pronounce. It's a nice name." I said.

"Come on, we should go introduce you to the rest of the guild." I said.

"But your wound!" Lucifer said.

"This is nothing, really. I can handle it until you can heal me again." I said.

I walked for a bit. I started feeling dizzy. My knees got week.

"(F/N), are you okay?" Levy asked.

"Yeah. I used up a lot of my power. Thanks for your help, guys.."

I fell to the ground unconscious.

"I got you. Let's get you to an infirmary around here somewhere." Lucifer said.

"We have one at the guild." Levy said.

"Good. Let's get going shall we?"
