Welcome to Fairy Tail.

I like long cherry blossom hair, so that's what you have.

I was out on a mercenary job for a client. Apparently, some guys have been trying to break into his mansion lately. They did break in. Stealing some important stuff. The client contacted me and told me everything. I sat in a tree outside waiting for them to approach the mansion. It was sundown, the crickets around me chirped. It was so quiet. Just then, I heard twigs breaking under me. My heart skipped a beat from the sudden sound. I looked directly under me and at the trunk of the tree were eight people eyeing the mansion. All males. I didn't move a muscle. I'm afraid if I did, the leaves would shake. They all looked at each other and smirked.
"Maybe that old geezer is still gone?" One of them said.
"Man, this is to easy." Another one said.
"Yeah, I still can't believe this diamond was just on a counter in a bedroom." One of them said, holding up a small diamond.
'That's it.. Can't believe they brought it with them. I'm pretty lucky.' I thought to myself. That diamond was the one thing the client specifically asked me to bring back. I knew they were the ones who were breaking into the mansion, but I had to wait until they tried to break in again.
"Ready guys?" The leader said.
"Yeah." Each of them said with a smirk.
They all proceeded slowly to the mansions front door.
The leader raised his foot and went to kick it open.
Just before he did, he heard something. "What was th-" He looked behind him and all of his men were gone.
"Guys!" He yelled in a whisper.
I looked to see the leader panicking. I tied up the last guy I snatched from the group and took the diamond away from him.
"Don't steal stuff anymore." I said and casually smacked him in the face.
'Alright, let's scare him a little.' I said and jumped in the air, landing in front of him. "Ah!.. Wh-who are you?" He asked.
It was pitch black outside.
My right eye glowed red as blood. A shadow hovering around my body. He started shaking. "A..demon.." He said, trying his hardest to speak every word. I grinned at him sinisterly. "N-No..s-stay away!" He fell to the ground shaking and wet himself. I stopped.
"Pfft.." I covered my mouth to try to keep from laughing. The leader passed out on the ground. "Hey, you okay?" I asked the unconscious leader. My client opened the door to the mansion and seen the leader on the ground in front of the door. The old man stared at him for a bit. "Is he dead?" He asked in a low, rusty voice. I pointed at the leaders pants. The client stared. "Hahahahahaha!" He laughed. "Good job, my boy." He said.
I nodded. "And here's your diamond back. Make sure you keep it safe this time." I said and handed him his diamond. He smiled warmly. "This was my wife's. I got this for her when we were about your age." He said. "She loved big jewelry. So I went out and got the biggest diamond I could, after working for half a year to save up." He said.
I smiled at him. "You put a lot of work into it, and kept it for so long. I envy people who can protect something close to them." I said as he handed me my pay.
"Envy? If anyone feels envy, it's me. You're a good young man. You have the power to protect yourself and others. You protected my mansion and my wife's diamond, didn't you?" He said wisely.
My eyes widened a little.
"Oh..I guess I did, didn't I?" I said, looking away. "Thanks, old man." I said to him and walked away.

Later on that evening

I walked along the forest trail, counting the jewel.

"One million jewel.. that's a lot. So in all.. I have around 8.5 million jewel saved up. Now I can buy a nice house." I smiled.

"Maybe I'll live in Magnolia. I've heard it's a beautiful and lively town with lots of stores and things to do. Also.. It's the home of Fairy Tail. Fiore's strongest guild. I hope I can join. I.. have the strength i need to protect the things close to me now." I said.

I thought back to a certain memory that changed my life forever.

My father had shielded me from a powerful attack that would have disintegrated me.

He coughed up blood.

"Soul Slayer's divine art..." My father looked up with pure hatred in his eyes "...Death."

His body started glowing pure black.

In front of him were ten demon-like humans. The leader had long black hair in a pony tail. And held a book called E.N.D.

He yelled out over the sound of my father's magic pressure crushing the ground.

"You've gotten weaker, God of the heavens. Do you really believe you can take us all on at once?" The leader asked in a sinister tone.

My father looked back at me and smiled a warm and calm smile.

"Son.. Hear me. You are a demi-god. And the son of Typhoeus, the God of the heavens and underworld, the mightiest God in all of existence. When I cast this spell, all of my power will go to you. Take this power and get stronger." He said.

He faced the ten demon's in front of them.

"Tartaros..Is to strong. I have grown weaker over the past few decades. This spell will incapacitate them, but destroy my body and corrupt my soul in the process. Take that time to run! Don't look back! Run as fast as you can. I promise, I will always be watching over you." He yelled.

As he said that, tears streamed down my face. I was holding my mother's dead corpse in my arms. "Don't leave me.. Dad!" I yelled.

"Your mother and I will live on in your hearts for as long as you live." He said. A bright warm light shone from my dad as the spell erupted.

The light shone from miles and miles away. After several seconds, the light flickered and went out.

In front of me, my father's body was fading away into bright red orbs, returning to the sky.

All that remained in the demon's places were a huge hole in the earth.

"Now go, my son.." I heard my dad's voice all around me.

A red light, the color of blood, glowed in my chest. I hesitated to leave my mother's side, crying in agony. I laid her body down, kissed her forehead and ran.

"I'm so happy I can move on, knowing that my little boy can live his life for a little while longer. Tartaros will sleep for a while now. But when they return, they will come after you..Because you are my son. When they return, show them the true power of Typhoeus." My father's voice said.

The memory stopped.

I grabbed my chest. "Dad..mom..I'm stronger now." I said.

The next day

I finally made it to Magnolia. I had been walking from last night until this morning. I wasn't tired though. I have insomnia. I stay up for two days and then got to sleep on the second night and wake up the next morning.

Everyone stared at me.

I did look like what my occupation was. I wore dark blue skinny jeans, black long boots, a black silky flannel with the sleeves roled up and under it was a dark Gray cutoff shirt. And I wore a small black scarf tied behind my neck i use to cover my face when it's cold. I sowed it myself. It was made out of silk. And skin tight black gloves. And my right arm was bandaged.

I didn't like everyone's stares at all.

I pulled my scarf to my nose and slipped my hands in my pockets.

'Jeez..stop staring..' I thought to myself in a grumpy tone.

'I guess I should find a house to live in.'

I walked for about thirty more minutes until I found a small two story apartment that was in front of a river. It had a sign that said,

"For rent: 500,000J deposit, and 90,000J a month."

'Hmm..so I'll have 8.000.000J after I pay the deposit. 90.000J a month for 60 months is 5.400.00J and I'll have 2,400,000J after 5 years. It's not so bad.' I thought to myself, rubbing my chin.

"Okay, this will do." I said and smiled.

I walked up the door and knocked on it. I heard a door open to my left and I seen a pretty and busty blonde girl in a very short skirt and a small blue cutoff jacket with sleeves that revealed her shoulders. And for some reason, a whip on her waist.

'A sadist?' I thought.

She stared at me, smiled and waved. I didn't react. She walked off her steps and passed by me.

"Excuse me?" I said.

The blonde girl stopped and turned to me.

"Yes, can I help you?" She smiled at me.

"Where is the person in charge of this place?" I asked her.

"Oh, are you moving in?" She asked and walked up to me.

"I was hoping to." I said.

"She's actually in that apartment over there. That's where I live. She came to get my rent today. She's pretty slow on walking out though." She said with a small laugh.

"Umm..you can actually afford this place?" She asked in envy.

"Yes. I'm going to make a deal with the person and pay 5 years worth of rent." I said casually.

She went wide eyed. "Five years!?" She yelled.

I nodded.

The door to the blondes apartment opened and out came a short middle-aged lady with with revealing clothes. She had a pretty big stomach.

"Oh, there she is. Come on, I'll introduce you." She said and we walked over to the landlady.

"Hey there, landlady." The blonde said.

"What do you want, Funbags?" The landlady asked.

The blonde tried her best to force out a smile.

'They do look fun.' I thought to myself.

"This person here wanted to rent the apartment beside mine." The blonde girl said.

She looked at me. "You're hair is pretty unusual. It looks like a cherry blossom." She said.

"So I've been told." I said back.

The last person who said that to me was my mother. My dad had white hair and white eyes. And my mom had reddish-pink hair with red eyes.

I took after both of them and had cherry blossom hair. My left eye was red and my right eye was white.

I look more like my mom though.

My long hair covered my white eye, and I still had my scarf pulled up.

"So..why are you covering you're face?" The landlady asked.

"Oh..I'm sorry, I'm use to wearing it so much, I didn't realize." I said and pulled my scarf down.

As soon as I pulled it down, a small wind came and blew my hair, revealing my white eye. My hair gently blew in the wind.

"I hope you can forgive me." I smiled politely.

The blonde and the Landlady blushed with wide eyes. They were speechless for a second.

"O-Oh don't worry about that, cutie. You're just fine." The landlady said, twiddling her thumbs.

"Thankyou." I said.

"So, will you allow me to live here? I have the deposit plus 5 years worth of rent right here." I said and pulled out a sack of Jewel.

She choked a little.

"W-Well, what I like more than pretty guys like you is pretty guys like you with money." She said with hearts in her eyes.

I handed her the sack of Jewel.

"Okay, let me show you the apartment." She said with a smile.

"Alright, I should get going then." The blonde said.

"Thankyou for your help, miss." I said.

"Call me Lucy." She said and smiled warmly.

"Lucy..I'm (F/M)." I said and held out my hand.

She took my hand gently.

I avoided eye contact and we both blushed.

"Stop flirting in front of me!" The landlady yelled.

Lucy let go of my hand in embarrasment.

"Well, shall we get going?" I asked the landlady.

"Yeah, let's go." She said.

I waved Lucy goodbye and we proceeded inside the apartment.

On the outside it looked like a normal apartment. But on the inside it was luxurious.
The walls were white and the stairs were made of dark oak wood, they were well made.

We walked up the stairs and the Landlady unlocked the door. I walked into a big living room. The air smelled lovely, like fruits.
The curtains were a pretty white. I looked to my right and walked into a dining room. It had marble flooring, and a chandelier above it. Next to the dining room was the kitchen. The cabinets were wooden, the stove and refrigerator were black. And a sink you had to touch to turn on. To turn on the hot water you touched it twice. I moved on to a walk-in style japanese bathroom. I moved on to the last room, my bedroom. It was big and cozy. The walls were dark gray and the room was empty.
I liked it. The whole place was clean and smelled amazing. It was a comfortable place.
"It's a lovely place." I said and smiled. "But it looks like it would cost atleast 200,000J a month." I said.
"Well, it was originally 150,000J a month. But no one would pay that kind of money." The landlady said. "I'm happy someone came around. The blonde bimbo was the only person I was making money off of. But with this, I'll be okay." She said and smiled. "Thankyou very much." She said.
"Thankyou." I said.
"Here's the key. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask." She said.
"Well..actually, where can I get furniture?" I asked.
"There's a store with nice furniture beside Caldia Cathedral. It's the Cathedral in the middle of the town." She said.
"Thankyou." I said.
"By the way, are you planning on joining Fairy Tail? You look like a wizard, do you use magic?" She asked, eyeing my body while biting her lip. I was skinny and my arms weren't that big, but my stomach was pretty well built.
I shuttered. "Yes..I was planning on joining. And I do use magic. I'm an ability-type." I said.
"Oh, interesting. Fairy Tail is a wonderful place. I'm sure they will accept a beautiful boy like you." She said.
I laughed nervously. "I appreciate your kind words." I said.
"Well, go on and get your furniture." She said
I nodded.
She walked out ahead of me while I looked at my new home one more time.
I smiled.

Later

I could see the Cathedral from my apartment so I had no trouble finding my way there. "Ah, there it is." I said and walked inside the store.
It was a big store filled with nice furniture. The only people that was in there were a lady in her late thirties and the employees.
"Welcome!" One of the employees said. She had red hair and had the voice of a noble knight.
"Hi. Do you have any beds?" I asked.
"Yes, come with me." She said.
As we were walking I seen two guys with pink and dark blue hair.
"Man, why do we have to do this? I wanna go out on a real job!" The pink haired one said.
"To bad. Man up and do your job." The dark blue haired said.
"But I don't wanna.." The pink haired one said, hanging his head.
"Here they are." The red haired girl said.
I looked at the beds, trying to find a queen sized bed. I loved big beds. I walked over to a good-sized bed and pressed down on it with my hand, testing the softness. I looked on the tag and it said. '60,000J.'.
"I'll take this one." I said.
"A wise decision, sir. Do you need help taking it to your place of stay?" She asked.
I looked at her wide eyed.
"You guys move the furniture, too?" I asked.
"Yes sir. We help move everything we sell." She smiled polietly.
"In that case..I'm going to buy a couple couches and tables." I said.
"Thankyou, sir." She bowed. And walked me over to the couches.
I seen a nice long couch fluffy couch that was 40,000J, a recliner that was 35,000J and a smaller version of the other couch that was 25,000J. And a black kitchen table with matching chairs for 50,000J. "I'll take the two matching couches and the recliner." I said.
"You decide pretty fast, don't you? They are nice furniture." She said.
"I'm not to picky about where I sit and lay." I said.
She chuckled. "If you would follow me over here, I'll write out the papers and collect your pay, and we'll move your furniture over to your home." She said.
I nodded. And we walked over to the counter.
She typed on the cash register. "That will be 210,000J." She said.
I pulled out a smaller sack and handed it to her. And took the remaining 10,000J out of my wallet and handed it to her. She counted it and placed it in the register and handed me a receipt.

"If you have any problems, contact us." She said.

I nodded.

"Natsu! Gray!" She yelled which made me jump.

The two guys were arguing with eachother and looked over at the redhead.

"We're going to be helping this customer move his furniture to his home." She said.

"Okay." They both said.

"Wendy!" The redhead said.

I little girl with blue hair and a white cat came from a office.

"Yes, Erza?" She said.

"We're going to be helping this customer move his furniture to his home. Watch the store until we get back." The redhead said.

"Okay!" The blue haired girl said with a smile.

"So, what did you get?" The dark blue haired guy said as he walked up to me.

"I got a bed, two couches, a recliner, and a kitchen table." I said.

"Awesome. I'm Gray. And this is Natsu." The dark blue haired guy said.

"And my name is Erza." The redhead said.

"I'm (F/N). It's nice to meet you. Thankyou for helping me, your a big help." I said.

"Don't mention it." Gray said.

"Alright, point them out and we'll get ya set up." Natsu said with a big smile.

I walked them over to the couches. Natsu picked up the big couch and placed it on his shoulders.

And Gray picked up the recliner and two kitchen chairs. Erza picked up the smaller couch and the other two kitchen chairs.

"Wow, you guys are pretty strong." I said.

Though to someone else they would look superhuman.

I grabbed the kitchen table and set it on top of the bed. I picked up the bedover my head. It was pretty heavy, and I was on a time limit before I collapsed.

"Your not half bad yourself." Erza said.

"Yeah." Gray said.

His shirt was somehow gone. 'How did he take his shirt off while holding the furniture..?' I thought.

I shrugged it off and walked out of the shop, kicking the double doors just slightly.

We walked to my apartment, everyone was staring at us.

'Mommy! Mommy! Look! There so strong!" A kid said.

"Oh my." The mother said.

I was breathing a little heavy.

"Okay, this is it." I said tiredly.

"Huh? You live here?" Natsu said.

"You live right beside our friend, Lucy." Gray said.

"Oh, I met her a little while ago when I moved in. She introduced me to the Landlady." I said.

I was thinking of a way to somehow turn the knob on the door. I didn't want to set the bed and kitchen table because I probably couldn't pick it back up.

"Hey, you need he-" Natsu tried to say something but I had already kicked the door down.

"Haha that's the way!" Natsu said.
Erza and Gray sighed.

We brought the furniture up stairs and I set them down in front of the door.

I leaned up slowly and tiredly. My back bones and knees popped as I leaned up.

"Ahh, man. That sounded bad." Gray said.

"That was the sound of relief." I said.

I unlocked the door and opened it, sliding the bed on its side into my room.

"You can set everything down in the living room." I said.

I went out and grabbed the kitchen table and sat it in the kitchen and placed the four chairs around it.

I stretched my back as it popped a couple times.

"Ahhh.." I said in relief.

I went back into the living room and handed Erza a sack of jewel.

"Here, it's 60,000J for your hard work. Please accept it." I said.

"I'm sorry, but we can't acce-" Erza tried to say and I looked at her with puppy eyes.

She blushed a little.

"Th-Thankyou." Erza said, looking away.

I smiled.

"Hey, are you a mage? I can sense a strong magical pressure coming from you." Gray said, scratching his head.

"Now that you mention it, I feel it to." Natsu said.

Erza nodded in agreement.

"Yes, I am." I said.

"Oh, cool. So what kind of magic do you use." Natsu asked.

I had no point in hiding it so I told them.

"Soul Slayer magic." I said.

They all looked shock.

"What? Soul Slayer? Is it like dragon slayer magic?" Gray asked.

"Not quite. I um..use my soul for attacks and defense. It's very dangerous, if my soul gets hit to hard by someones magic, or if i use it the wrong way, my soul could disintegrate. It's an ancient magic. I've never met or heard of anyone else with the same magic as me so I might be the only one." I said.

There mouths drooped.

"W-Wow..that means your pretty special, if your the only one with that kind of magic." Gray said.

"That's so cool! I'm a Fire Dragon Slayer! I learned my magic from my dragon dad. Where did you learn yours?" Natsu asked.

"A dragon? Awesome!" I said.

"I didn't learn it, really. It was given to me from my father." I said.

"Wow. It's pretty rare to be given magic. You'd have to be naturally talented. Who was your father?" Erza asked.

I couldn't say my father was a god, they wouldn't believe me anyways. "His name was Typhon. He was a mercenary." I said, making up the part that he was a mercenary.
"I see." Erza said.
"You should think about joining our guild. You'd be great." Gray said.
I looked at him for a second.
"Are you three members of Fairy Tail, by any chance?" I asked.
"We are!" Natsu said with a smile.
"That's perfect. I was already going to try to join." I said.
"Awesome!" Natsu said.
"Yeah!" Gray said.
"We are still working a job at the moment so we can't introduce you to our Master, but Wendy can." Erza said with a warm smile.
"That'd be great. Thankyou." I said.
"No problem, we don't mind helping a customer out." Natsu said.
"Did you want to join now?" Gray asked.
"I'm free whenever. But joining now would be good to." I said.
"Okay, follow us back to the store and we'll get Wendy to introduce you to the master." Natsu said.
I nodded.
We walked out and I locked the door. We stepped out of the apartment building and began walking back to the store.
"So, (F/N). How about a fight when we get off work?" Natsu said punching his hand.
I thought about it.
"Umm..sure. I don't mind." I said.
"Yeah!" Natsu said.
Erza and Gray sweatdropped.
"Don't go picking fights with new members, Natsu." Erza said.
"Ah, come on. He said it was okay." Natsu said.
"If (F/N) is okay with it, then I don't mind." Erza said.
"Awesome!" Natsu fistpumped.
We made it back to the store and there was a guy with a gun pointing at Wendy.
"Just give me the money, damnit!" The thief said.
Before anyone could do anything. I got behind him.
Erza, Natsu, and Gray were wondering how I got from the door to there in just a second. I grabbed his head and smashed it onto the counter, leaving him unconscious.
Wendy stared at me like I was a prince that had came to rescue her.
"Thankyou.." She muttered in a low voice.
"I know you could have taken him. But this was the quickest and most efficient way to handle things without causing damge." I said.
"You handled that nicely." Erza said, walking up to me.
"Yeah, good job man." Natsu said.
"I didn't have time to react because you were so fast." Gray said.
"Well..I use to be a mercenary like my father. So I've been through this plenty of times." I said.
"Woah, a mercenary? How old are you?" Natsu said.
"I just turned seventeen a month ago." I said.
"Oh, so we're all older than you. Accept for Wendy." Natsu said.
"I'm seventeen, and so is Gray. Erza is nineteen. And Wendy is twelve." Natsu said.
"It's nice to finally meet someone around my age." I muttered. Only Wendy and Natsu heard me.
"Oh, that's right. Almost forgot what we came here for." Erza said and turned to Wendy.
"Wendy, this is (F/N). He's going to be joining our guild. Will you introduce him to the master?" Erza asked.
"I don't mind. It's nice to meet you, (F/N). This is Carla." Wendy said.
"It's nice to meet you as well, Wendy. And you, too, Carla." I said and petted Carla's head. Carla sighed. "I'm happy your wearing gloves." Carla said.
I stopped. Shocked that she talked. "Carla, don't be so mean.." Wendy said.
"No, it's fine. Shall we get going?" I said.
Wendy nodded.

A few blocks away from the guild

"So..what kind of magic do you use, (F/N)?" Wendy asked.
"It's called Soul Slayer magic." I said.
"Oh wow, I've never heard of that before. Where did you learn it?" Wendy asked.
I thought for a second.
"Can you two keep a secret?" I asked.
They both nodded excitedly.
"I do plan on telling the rest of the guild..but I can't right now. But I feel like I can talk to you, so I'll tell you." I said.
Wendy blushed.
"Well..when I was little, my hometown got attacked by a dark guild. They were beyond powerful. Everyone in my hometown had been murdered. Including my mother." Wendy went wide eyed.
"The only ones left standing were my father and I. There were ten of them. My father...saved me from an attack and took it head on. He released a spell that destroyed everything from a mile far and wide, including that dark guild. My father had vanished, and his magic got sent to me." I said.
Wendy gasped. "So your mom and dad..di-" Wendy couldn't finish. "Yes." I said
"Wendy, this is the part that I need you to keep to yourself. You, too, Carla." I said and they nodded.
"My father..was a god." I said.
They stopped and didn't know how to react.
"A..god?" Wendy said.
"Yes... And My mother was an ArchDemon. So I'm not even human. I'm half god, half demon." I said.
"So..your really powerful, then?" She asked. 'I don't have to ask. You can feel his magic from a mile away.' She thought.
"I can hold my own in a battle against several people on my own, I know that much. I don't know everything about this power yet. But I will learn it..and get revenge on those demons." I said, my eyes were full of hate.
"(F/N).." Wendy said.
"I know it's a lot to take in..but if you feel you can't keep something like this to yourself, tell it to someone you can trust with your life. That's all I ask. I will tell my story to the master, honestly." I said.
She nodded.
"Thanks for listening." I smiled.
She smiled back.

We walked up to a big building that said "Fairy Tail" and had the guild emblem on it. "Wow, it's big."

Inside the guild

Makarov's p.o.v

I was sitting on the bar counter and drinking my beer as usual. I felt a strange a powerful pressure from beyond the guild doors.
I looked up, ready to defend the guild.
"What's wrong, Master?" Mirajane asked.
"There might be trouble..." Makarov said.

Mirajane understood what he was saying and looked at the door worried about what's to come next.

Reader's p.o.v

I pulled my scarf up to the bridge of my nose. I usually do that when i'm nervous. I opened the guild doors and walked in. Everyone was staring at me like they wanted to fight.

"W-Wendy..there staring at me like I just stole their girlfriend." I said.

'It's because the pressure your magic is releasing.' Wendy thought.

We walked to a bar counter where a silver haired girl and short old man were.

"Hey, Master. This is (F/N). He wanted to join the guild." Wendy said.

"H-Hello, I'm (F/N), it's nice to meet you." I said, shaking a little.
The master stared at me with a serious look on his face.

"Oh, well why didn't you say so." The master said. His face turning into a smile.

"Glad to have you, welcome to the guild." The master said to me.
"Th-That's it?" I asked.
"Well..um..if it's okay with you, I'd like to talk to you in private." I asked the master.
"Sure. Come with me to my office." He said and hopped off the table.
I winked at Wendy. "Thanks for helping me, Wendy." I smiled.
"Y-You're welcome." Wendy said, avoiding eye contact.

I walked with the master up some stairs and into his office. He walked behind his desk and sat in his chair.
"Please, take a seat, my boy." He said.
I sat in front in a chair in front of his desk.
"So, what did you want to talk about?" He asked.
I pulled my mask down.
"I wanted to tell you about myself, honestly. I felt It was better than keeping it from you." I said.
He crossed his arms.
"Go on."

I told him about my past and what my father, mother, and I actually was.

He rubbed his chin.
"I admit, this is a shock. And hard to believe. Do you have any proof?" He asked.
"I don't know everything about my power, yet. All I know is that I can kill anything with a soul. Humans, animals, dragons, demons..gods." I said.
"So you're magic is strong against anything and everything that has a soul. Have you tested this theory?" He asked.
"I haven't. But sometimes..my magic speaks to me. I don't hear any voices, I just see the words in my head. And that's what it said, and that's how I learned my magic." I said.

"And what of your Mother? Did you learn her magic as well?" He asked.
"Well..I don't feel a different power inside me. So I don't think so." I said.
The master thought for a moment.
"And your not human at all, interesting...I understand. I'll choose to believe you. I'm curious to see this magic of yours and how you develop over time." He said.
I smiled. It felt good to tell that to someone and understand.
"Thankyou very much, Master." I said.
He nodded and we shook hands.
"Go on and get you're guild mark from the silver haired lady at the bar. Once again, welcome to the guild." He said.
"Thanks for having me." I responded and walked to the door and opened it. A bunch of people came falling in on top of one another.
"Ow..." Natsu said at the bottom of the pile.
"What are you doing here already?" I asked.

Gray, Erza, Natsu, and a few other people stood up.

"Well we got off early thanks to you buying all that furniture. That place barely gets any customers so the boss was very happy and decided to let us off early." Natsu said.

I squinted my eyes and asked in serious voice.
"What did you hear?" I asked.
The all turned their heads and whistled. Some of them just blowing through their lips.
"Man! So you're half demon and half god! That's awes-" Natsu said before Gray grabbed Natsu's mouth.
"Shut up, you idiot!" Gray whispered.
I sighed.
"I was going to tell all of you when the time was right. I'm..sorry I tried to keep it from you guys.." I looked away with puppy eyes.
They all started to feel bad.
"Aww come on..we would have understood either way, don't feel bad. R-Right guys?" Gray said, looking at everyone.
"Yeah man! Don't worry about it." Natsu said, oblivious of the situation.
Erza walked up to me and placed her hand on my head.

The sound of my head hitting metal echoed through the room.

"Owww..." I said in a low voice.

And Erza walked away.

"S-Sorry about that. That's just her way of cheering someone up." Gray said.
I rubbed my head. "That's okay. I'm grateful that she tried." I said.
"Hey, I'm Cana. Nice to meet ya- 'hic'." A brunette said in a drunk voice.
"I'm (F/N). Nice to meet you, too." I said.
"I'm Elfman! I'm a real man!" A big buff guy with silver hair said.
"Y-Yeah, I can see that. It's nice to meet you." I said.
There was one more person. She had blue hair and was wearing a skinny dress.
She avoided eye contact but it was pointless because we made eye contact and couldn't look away.
'Awkward..' I thought.
I smiled at her. At held out my hand.
"What's you're name?" I asked.
"Umm..It's Levy." She said and took my hand.
I could feel her hand slightly shaking.
"You don't have to be afraid of me." I said with a straight face.
"N-No! That's not it. You're just.." Levy stopped.
'Really handsome.' She finished the sentence In her head.
I cocked my head.
"So!" Natsu said and grabbed my shoulders.
"How about that fight you promised?" Natsu said excitedly.
"Is it really okay?" I said and turned to the master.
He nodded, giving me the signal that it was okay.
"Alright, where are we fighting?" I asked.
"In the front of the guild." Natsu said.
"Okay, make sure you take it easy on me. I don't feel like breaking a limb today. Especially when I'm still moving in." I said.

Natsu laughed. "Don't worry." He said.

We walked to the door of the guild, everyone following.
Natsu opened the door and we stopped in front of the guild in the street.
"Okay, don't hold back. Because I won't either." Natsu said and flames enveloped his body.

I released my magical energy, a red light glowed around my body.
"The magical energy coming from him is insane!" Gray said.

A familiar blonde came walking up the street with a little blue cat munching on raw fish.

"I'll be sure to never make a bet with you again.." Lucy sighed.

"You shouldn't have promised me you'd get me a bunch of fish if you lost the bet." The cat said.

"Yeah, ye-" Lucy felt tons of magical pressure coming from the guild and hurried over.

She seen Natsu and I standing in front of eachother.

"Hey, what's going on?" Lucy asked Erza.

"Natsu and the new recruit are about to fight." Erza said.

"Natsu challenged him earlier." Gray said.

Lucy looked at me.

"That's.." Lucy said.

"Hear I come!!" Natsu yelled and tried to punch me with a flaming fist.

I dodged and elbowed him in the stomach and jumped away from him.

Natsu held his stomach.
"Ouch..that..actually really hurt." Natsu whispered to himself.

"Fire Dragon: Talon!" Natsu yelled and kicked me.

I grabbed his leg. And punched him in the stomach and face.

"Are you even..using magic?" Natsu said, holding his side.

"I am. I'm using my magic to enhance my attacks. Since my magic destroys the soul, I won't use my magic on you directly." I said.

Natsu stood up straight.
"I told you not to hold back. Don't underestimate me, I can take a hit." He said.

"Are you sure? Your soul could get damaged, or worse, destroyed." I said.

He smiled. "I'm sure. Now show me what a Soul Slayer can do!" He said.

"Fire Dragon..." Natsu was building magic in his stomach.

"..Demon God.." I accumulated magic in my stomach.

"Roar!!" We both shouted and his flames and my black and white energy hit eachother.

Mine overpowered his and hit him. Sending him flying back.
I quickly ran after him and caught him before he could hit the ground.

"His soul is still intact. But it's damaged. His soul should heal it's self. But just in case." A spear of black and white energy formed in my hand. I stuck it in Natsu's chest.

"What are you doing!?" Erza asked, thinking I impaled him.

"Don't worry, I'm just healing his soul." I said.
They all let there worries go.

"For everyone else's sake, don't fight me. I'm not saying I'm stronger than any of you. It's just dangerous. I could damage or destroy your soul." I said.

I looked at them with a serious face.

"Promise me." I said.
Everyone nodded.

I took out the spear and it disappeared.

I picked Natsu up, bridal style and carried him inside the guild and laid him on a table.

Everyone followed.

"He's going to be fine. He'll wake up soon." I said.

"I'm glad. You still haven't gotten your guild mark, yet." Mirajane walked up to me.

"Oh, that's right." I said.

"Come with me." She said and we walked over to the bar.

"Where do you want it and what color?" She asked.

I thought for a second.

"Are there multi-colors?" I asked.

"Sure, what did you want?" She asked.

"White and black. And right here on my side." I said pulling up my shirt a little.

"You know, your more muscley than I thought." She said and stamped my side.

"O-Oh..is that right?" I said a little embarrssed.

She kept staring at my chest.

"O-Okay, well, thanks for helping me." I said and quickly pulled my shirt down.

"Don't worry about it. Welcome to the guild." She said.

I smiled and nodded. 'Yeah, I think their worth protecting.' I thought to myself.

"Here's a drink on the house." She said and handed me a mug.

"Thankyou very much." I said and took a drink.

I choked a little on the drink. It was alcohol.

"Oh my, are you okay? Do you not like the drink?" She asked with puppy eyes.

I couldn't tell her I didn't like it with that innocent face she had.

"No, I like it. It just went down my wind pipe." I said.

"Oh, okay, be more careful." She said.

I looked at the drink anxiously. I took the drink and quickly downed it.

It burned my throat. I punched the counter a little and took a breath.

'Oh no! I've never drank alcohol before!' I said and got up.

"Thankyou, Mirajane." I said.
She smiled and waved me goodbye.

I seen Natsu raise his head up quickly.

"Huh? Where am I?" He said in a drunk voice.

'Whenever I use the healing spear, the effects take hold of you after you wake up or a few hours later. And it makes you drunk.' I thought to myself.

Natsu got up and walked over to me, stumbling.

His head laid on my chest.

"You..fight me again..I'll..get you this time." Natsu said with his words slurring.

"Let's get you to your house." I said.

I put his arm around my shoulder and walked to the door.
I stumbled and caught myself on on a table.

'Oh no..the alcohol is kicking in.' I said to myself.

I looked and seen Lucy sitting beside Levy and a blue cat.

"It's you.." I said and looked at Lucy.

"Hey, I see you joined the guild." She said.

"Uh..yeah. Natsu, Wendy, Erza, and Gray helped me join." I said.

"Well, welcome to the guild." She said.

"Th..thanks." I said.

My eyes got heavy.

"Are you okay? You don't look so well." Levy said.

"Well..Mirajane gave me alcohol on the house and I didn't have the heart to decline her." I said.

"Woah, your drunk on the first day?" Lucy said.

"What about Natsu, did he drink with you?" Levy said.

"N-No.. my healing power works as a sedative to heal your soul and makes you drunk. So I decided to take him home." I said.

"Will you be able to make it?" Lucy said.

I lost my grip from Natsu and he fell to the ground.

"Ow..why did you punch me?" Natsu said In a low voice.

I stumbled foward and fell. Levy wrapped her arms around my waist and caught me.

"Nice..catch.." I said.
Levy blushed madly, from holding me.

"L-Lucy, take him." Levy said.

Lucy put my arm around her shoulder.

"Don't worry, we'll take you home." Lucy said.

Levy picked up Natsu and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"Where do you live?" Levy asked.

"Lucy..knows." I said.

"Yeah, he just moved in the building next to mine." Lucy
said.

We walked out of the guild and began walking to my apartment.

Levy was struggling beside me, Natsu was almost dead weight. I put Natsu's arm around my shoulder and grabbed his waist.

Levy still had his other arm.

"Thanks.." Levy said.

"I'm surprised you made it this far. Natsu's pretty heavy." I said.

"Tell me about it." Lucy said.

We made it to the front of my apartment. I removed my arm from Lucy's shoulder.

"Can you help Levy hold Natsu?" I asked Lucy.

"Sure." She said.

I walked toward the door, stumbling a little.

I tried to put the key in the door but I kept missing.

"Sorry it's taking so long..my doorknob keeps moving around for some reason." I said, still missing the key hole.

Lucy and Levy couldn't help but giggle a little.

I turned my head to them.

"What are you giggling for?" I asked.

"Oh nothing." Lucy said, smiling.
I gave up trying to put the key in and kicked the door down.

They went wide eyed.

I turned around. "Ladies first."

They went in and walked up the stairs.

They turned around and seen me trying to walk up the stairs.

"When did the Landlady install escalators?" I said.

I got on my hands and knees and crawled up the stairs.

Lucy and Levy sweatdropped.
I stood up and smiled.

"I love escalators!" I said and started to fall back.

Lucy grabbed my hand. "Be careful, you almost died." She said.

I chuckled a little. "I can't wait to see the day when a demon or god dies from falling down some stairs." I said, walking toward my door.

I got out my key and got in a fighting stance.

"So, your going to get in my way, too, doorknob?" I said.

I put the key in the hole as fast as lightning. I chuckled sinisterly at the doorknobs defeat and opened the door.

"Sorry for the mess, I still haven't set everything up, yet." I said.
"Oh wow, this apartment is amazing." Lucy said.

"I agree." Levy said.

"You can set Natsu on my bed in here." I said, walking to my room.

They laid Natsu on the bed and I face planted the bed beside Natsu.

"Thank you for helping us." (F/N) said.

"Don't worry about it." I said.

Natsu rolled over and hugged my neck.

"Your gonna be inside my stomach in a second, chicken." Natsu said, giggling.

(F/N) had already fallen asleep.

"They actually look cute when there hugging up to eachother like that." Lucy said.

Levy blushed. "Yeah, they do look cute." She said, staring at me.

"Mom? Is that you?" (F/N) said.
Me and Levy stared at (F/N).

"I'm sorry..for..abandoning you." (F/N) said.

Levy and I stared at (F/N) in pity.
I walked over to (F/N) and caressed his cheek.

"There you are..mom." He said.

I stopped and Levy and I walked out of (F/N)'s apartment.

That night, I dreamed of my mother.

"Take this, my son. I've waited a long time to give this to you. It's..my soul." She said and handed me a black Katana.

I took it.

"Call upon my soul whenever you're in trouble. I will protect you." She said and faded away.
