ARC "Crown of the Damned" -Part 2

"How in the hell am I suppose to get back up?" I said while walking around.

I scratched my head in irritation.

I sighed and stared at the ground.

I killed Haku's father.

Mercy didn't exist when it came to killing him.

No son or daughter deserves to lose their parents.

I'll just have to come clean with him.

If he hates me then so be it. I'll accept that. But I won't accept letting him suffer alone.

I already have to many demons eating at me..I don't need another one.

I went back to where I 'fell.'

"What comes down must go up." I said.

I focused my power to my legs.

The ground shook and I jumped as hard as I could.

'I think I jumped to hard.'

'Shit! I did! I didn't mean to use that much power!!' I said to myself.

I slowed down as soon as I got a couple feet away from the window I jumped out of.

"Shit, I can't reach it!" I yelled.

I tried flapping my arms to glide over but it didn't work at all.

"That doesn't work?!" I yelled as I fell.

Someone grabbed my hand and pulled me in.

I was pulled into someone's chest, and they were hugging me and rubbing my head.

I looked up and saw a smile staring back at me.

"It's you. What was your name again?" I asked.

"You really don't remember me, huh?" He asked.

"I do no-"

I felt a familiar kind feeling wash over me.

They way he rubbed my head and smiled at me.

It was so much like..Uncle Magnus.

"Wow, you look so much different." I said.

"Great, you remembered! And thank y-"

"You look even more depressing than before." I said.

Uncle Magnus face went blank.

"Ha..haha..ha.." He laughed. Not sounding to happy.

"Wait, why are you here on the surface?" I asked.

"Uh.." He avoided eye contact.

"Don't beat around the grass." I said.

"That's 'Don't beat around the bush..' And..I wanted to see my little nephew. Is that so bad?" He asked.

"No..thank you but, it's dangerous for you." I said.

He chuckled. "(F/N), you don't realize just how powerful I really am, do you?" He asked.

"No, how strong are you? Can you beat dad?" I asked.

"N-No..but I can probably beat everyone here in hell. That goes for you, to." He laughed.

"Haha. You might have been able to beat me before, but I've changed since then. Yes, just a little over thirty minutes ago, I acquired the remaining seventy percent of my father's power, all at once. If you're gonna fight me..then you have to fight my father, to. And possibly a psychopath." I said.

"You did what?!" Magnus yelled, which made me jump.

"What..?" I asked.

"Y-You..didn't go berserk did you?!" Magnus asked like a worried parent.

I stared at him for a moment then looked away.

"It was..my fault. I was to weak to fight back her influence. I ended up murdering Hades and twenty of his soldiers." I said.

Magnus stared at me in shock.

"H-Hades..? You..killed Hades?" He asked.

I slowly nodded in guilt.

"He hurt you, didn't he? That's why you did that." Magnus said.

"Still..it's no reason to kill him, is it?" I asked.

"Listen carefully, (F/N). You are the last of Typhon's bloodline. You carry his power, his emotions, his eye, his personality..and a piece of his heart. He sacrificed himself for you, did he not?" Magnus said in a serious manner.

"Stop.." I whispered.

"(F/N)..it was not your fault that you went berserk..even Typhon could not control it at first. Every being in Heaven and Hell did their best to stop him. He killed many God's and Demons in that war. But..he came back to us. You know how he did it? He tried to pull out his own heart." Magnus said.

I went wide eyed.

"The only one that could truly help him. Was himself. Please, remember this the next time you lose control. And I feel like there really will be a next time. I'm very proud of you though. It took days of endless fighting before Typhon came back to us. And it only took you a few minutes. It doesn't matter that he was so much stronger than you. The influence will always be the same. I wonder, how did you stop it?" Magnus asked.

"By..trying to claw out my heart." I said.

Magnus couldn't help but laugh so sincerely.

"You two really are just alike." Magnus said.

"That's more than fine by me." I whispered with a smile.

A sudden force knocked me into the wall extremely hard.

"(F/N)!" Magnus yelled.

He looked around everywhere, trying to find who knocked me into the wall.

If it wasn't for consuming the extra seventy percent of my dad's power, that would have definitely cut me in half.

"Who..the hell..did that?" I asked, trying to catch my breath.

A man appeared in front of us.

He looked so emotionless.

"I'm guessing that was you..you son of a bitch.." Magnus said.

"Yeah..so what?" He asked.

"Who are you?" I asked.

He focused his attention on me.

"My name is Esdras. His Majesty, Mard Geer has ordered me to kill you. You are now a major threat to us and absolutely must be eliminated and your soul sealed away for all eternity. I don't understand why, since I just thrown you against the wall with ease." He said.

"Dammit..Esdras..I've heard to much about him. He kills for fun. He's a demon general. The third strongest demon general." Magnus said.

"Well, I never get tired of fighting, so I'll play with you. By the way, who's the strongest Demon General?" I asked.

"His name is Satan. He is God level strong. And the second strongest is Lucifer, I heard Lucifer fought with Satan and did pretty decently for a Archdemon.." Magnus said.

"That's my bro for ya'. Sorry to ask this of you, but will you stay back for a bit?" I asked.

"I thought you'd say that. Will do." Magnus said.

"I probably won't win so..kick his ass for me then?" I said.

Magnus smiled and nodded.

I faced Esdras. Standing only a few feet away from him.

"Well, guess I'll need the help of someone stronger than you." I said.

I activated Lucifer's power.

My eyes turned Black and White.

Black, White and Red essence hovered around me.

I rested my hand on my waist and breathed in.

"I always get excited when I conjure Lucifer's power." I said softly.

"Bullshit..no one can use a Demon General's power, It's impossible.." Esdras said.

"Come and find out for yourself." I smirked.

We stared at each other for several seconds before we both teleported in front of each other. Esdras threw a powerful punch at me, almost breaking my arm when I blocked it.

"Demon God: Fury Fist!" I hit him in the gut as hard as I could.

I swear his rips cracked, but it didn't look like it fazed him whatsoever.

He jumped back and put his hands on the ground.

A Curse circle appeared under him.

"Rise." He said.

And ten creatures came out of the ground.

They were rotting corpses.

I breathed in, accumulating as much power in my body as I could.

"Demon God: Roar!!"

It shot out like a Jupiter cannon, lasting for at least ten seconds.

The corpses were turned to ashes.

But, Esdras was still standing. Unfazed.

He smirked at me.

I charged at him and quickly teleported behind him and hugged his waist and suplexed him into the floor. Our fight could create a earth quake with all of the pressure and shock waves coming from our attacks.

I jumped up and grabbed his legs, lifting him up over my head and smashing him into the ground.

With each attack I gave, the Palace shook more and more.

I jumped back, held my arms out to my side and pointed In the directions on both sides of me.

'Time to try out this new attack. When I consumed dads power, more spells unlocked. And this one should do some damage.'

"If you hear me, please grant me more power to defeat this enemy of mine. Hell's Core." I said.

Power rushed through my veins immediately and it wouldn't stop flowing.

"Soul Slayer's Divine Art: Dragon God's wrath."

My soul blew out of me and formed a gigantic Dragon with it's one thousand heads and Serpent fingers and Dragon wings.

It made a huge whole in the ceiling. Standing as tall as the sky itself.

And it said...

"Lethe Drákon..Cataclysmic Adversity."

All went inaudible.

A quick beam of pure Red and White flames shot from it's mouth and hit Esdras point blank.

The beam exploded in a huge and brilliant Red and White flame.

The Palace and half of the mountain fell into ruin.

I fell to my knees, almost unconciouss.

I gained an amazing amount of power capacity when I acquired this power.

I'm certain I could use my mother's most damaging attack non stop for at least thirty minutes.

But that Divine Art took everything.

Not even fumes remained.

The smoke cleared up around Esdras.

Only his legs remained. Pieces of his flesh and unimaginable amounts of blood covered the area around him.

Magnus was on one knee, with a barrier around him.

He was breathing rather heavily.

"Yep, your Typhon's son alright." Magnus said, standing up.

"Remember what I said to you before I started this fight? Time to get your ass in gear.." I said silently.

"Huh?" Magnus said.

Esdras legs started walking towards me, his flesh and blood regenerated within seconds.

He stood over me with a sadistic smile and kneeled down to me, caressing my cheek.

"You really bring out the worst in me, child..I haven't felt this angry in hundreds of years. How dare you do that to me, you unwanted trash.." Esdras said.

"Hehe.." I chuckled. "I wish I could say the same to you. Bringing out the worst in me is like going to war with all of Heaven and Hell by yourself.." I said with a cocky smile.

"I'd like to see that..Oh, I think I'll know what will make you tick. When your mother was Queen, I tried assassinating her. I leaded her into a private room and held her down and ripped off her clothes and slit her neck. Unfortunately, she had regeneration and she almost killed me. Really, a whore of a monster like that shouldn't even exist." Esdras said in the most cruel way possible.

My cocky smile slowly turned into a rage filled frown.

I take that back..this son of a bitch brought out the absolute worst in me.

BLOODLUST

My demon horns grew from my head intentionally.

My eyes and hair turned pure Black.

My K-9 teeth grew sharp.

Esdras jumped back defensively.

He felt the full presence of my mother and trembled in fear.

I stood up and stared at him.

A satisfyingly dark and direful smile formed on my lips.

My body was static. Appearing and disappearing as I prepared to teleport.

I disappeared and Esdras swung behind him but no one was there.

Instead I appeared in front of him and punched into his side and ripped out one of his ribs and shoved it deep into his eye.

He teleported away and pulled out his rib from his eye and threw it over the half eaten mountain.

His eye and side regenerated.

His hands shook. He didn't want to come close to me.

"Come, Blade of The Archdemon Queen." I said holding out my hand.

My sword immediately appeared in my hand.

The blade rattled like power was wanting so desperately to expel from it.

"The sacred blade..of Hell..but how did you get that?!" Esdras yelled.

"Soul Slayers Sinful Art: A Thousand Deaths."

I sliced through his body over and over, faster than sound and light, a thousand times.

His body didn't have time to regenerate. He stayed on his feet, his whole body completely cut up.

I took a few steps back.

"Demon God's Divine Art: Wrath Of The Holy Archdemon."

I swung the blade as hard as I could very slowly, with every single bit of my might.

A massive Black and White wave of energy was hurled at Esdras.

I showed not a single shred of mercy.

The attack went straight through him like a laser.

His body was turned into ashes.

There was no coming back from that.

My attack flew into a distant wall and completely devoured the rock, showing no sign of yielding. It went on for a little over a mile before it finally exploded. The explosion came all the way back out of the whole, turning every Demon Beast that was in the area into ashes.

I stood there with my insides feeling like they had shut down from over exerting myself.

I didn't even want to breathe.

My chest would ache so much from the soreness.

I walked over to Esdras ashes.

Every step I took several a couple seconds before I could handle taking another step. I don't know why I haven't fallen unconcious yet.

My pride wouldn't let me. It wasn't normal.

Magnus ran up to me and put my arm over his shoulder.

"Where..do you need to go?" He asked.

"To..his ashes. I'll be okay once I've finished with him." I said.

"O-Okay." Magnus said, walking me over to Esdras ashes.

I breathed in and held my hand out at Esdras remains.

"No..you're not going to find piece..you'll suffer along with me until I take my last breath. Your soul will not be treasured, but I will remember you. You will serve me and give me your power. If you try to resist, I will forcibly take it from you and burn your soul while you still lie dormant inside me." I said.

I forced his soul into my chest. My hate for him completely blocked off his emotions I would normally feel when I absorbed a soul.

A quarter of my power regenerated.

My body felt much better. And I could walk.

I smiled and gave a thumbs up to Magnus.

"You defeated a ancient demon at your age. It's an amazing sight. You've grown up to be a independent man." Magnus said, letting me go.

"Thank you, Magnus. I thought, if I'm going to be King..I should be more powerful than the Demon Generals at least." I said.

Magnus chuckled.

"Don't get me wrong. You are strong, (F/N). But Satan is something impossible to defeat. Like I said, he's God level strong." Magnus said.

"Stronger than you?" I asked.

"Most likely." Magnus said.

"Well..damn.." I whispered.

"You are taking the Throne, are you not?" Magnus asked.

"Yeah..I'm taking it. In about ten years when I finally make it there." I said.

"No, it will only take a couple hours to get from here to there." Magnus said.

"Yeah, but with every demon chasing me, that time will be doubled." I said with a sigh.

"That's why you have me on your team." Magnus said.

"Why go through all of this for me?" I asked curiously.

"We're family, are we not?" Magnus asked.

A warm shock jolted my heart.

"And what decided that exactly?" I asked.

"The times we use to play Demon King together. The times you called me Uncle Magnus. The times you fell asleep in my arms after you exhausted yourself playing. And the times I watched over you while your father had business in Heaven." Magnus said.

I stayed silent and then responded by walking away.

"Well, let's go then." I said, my back turned to him. And a happy smile on my lips.

---

After making it to the bottom of the mountain the castle rested on, I jumped up a few hundred feet and held onto the mountain to get a better view of things.

I stayed there for a couple minutes, searching for Lucifer and the others.

About half a mile away, I saw Lucifer alone fighting Kanon.

Off to the side a little I seen Haku, Leviathan and Malacoda surrounded by a horde of Demon monsters. There must have been a couple hundred surrounding them.

"Found you." I said with a smirk.

I focused power to my legs and jumped, breaking the side of the mountain.

"Just what are you doing, (F/N)?" Magnus whispered to himself.

Just before landing, I pulled out my Katana and struck it in the ground as I landed.

A massive shock wave tore through the ground and the air, tearing through the Demon monsters like a hot knife to butter.

The remaining six Demons, I teleported instantaneously, slicing through all of them in a split second.

"(F/N)! You're okay!" Haku yelled with a genuine smile.

But I did not smile back. All I could do was offer him a saddened look.

Haku stopped, noticing that something was wrong.

"(F/N)...?" Haku muttered.

"What the hell are you doing with the sword-" Malacoda said.

I didn't stay to listen. Instead I teleported over to Lucifer and watched as he fought Kanon.

Lucifer had long Demon horns on his head and his eyes were Black and Blood Red.

"Blood Demon's Depletion." Lucifer said.

Kanon's blood suddenly drained from his eyes, ears, nose and mouth.

Lucifer didn't seem like he was having a hard time at all.

Kanon retreated into the sky.

Lucifer formed a spear made out of Blood in his hand and threw it through Kanon's chest.

He fell to the ground, unable to move.

"Wow..first time seeing your power." I said, standing up and wiping the dirt off my back side.

"Your Highness!" Lucifer yelled as he ran up to me, pulling me into a hug.

"Sorry to worry you.." I said.

"Kanon told me you jumped out of a window and fell to the bottom of Hell! Do you know how far down that is?! How are you still alive?!" Lucifer asked worridly.

"Uh..I got lucky, I guess." I said.

"My goodness, what happened to your hands?! They're all scared! And why are your clothes drenched in blood?" Lucifer yelled, holding my hands.

"Like I said-"

"Your Highness.." Lucifer interrupted.

I looked at him.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"You..consumed the rest of His Majesty's power, didn't you?" He asked.

I looked away, avoiding eye contact.

"I had no choice but to. Hades ambushed me while..uhh..he ambushed me and he..uhh..just took the vase and tried to use the power for himself. As soon as he opened the vase, the power automatically came for me. I couldn't do anything about it, due to being immobilized." I said.

"(F/N)." Lucifer looked at me with a serious look on his face.

His dominant and intimidating aura was very persuasive. Enough so that anyone would flinch in fear if he so much as moved a muscle.

"Tell me the whole story.." Lucifer said.

"I wanna know, to." Haku said out of nowhere.

A cold fear spread throughout my body like venom the moment I heard Haku's voice.

"You don't have to worry, Your Highness. Nothing could make us hate you." Leviathan said with a kind smile.

"I'm afraid there is a chance of that not being true." I said as I looked Haku's way.

"What do you mean?" Haku asked.

"I'll skip the small details. I found my father's secret room by luck. After two hours of searching around and watching my father's hologram, I found the urn. I was about to walk away with it but a..weird presence stopped me and was drawing me to the urn. I lost consciousness while still standing, as soon as I came to, Hades and his soldiers had me surrounded with swords and spears against my neck. After a little chat he tried to take the urn away from me but I refused to let it go. His soldiers stabbed me in both of my shoulders, then they cut my left arm off."

Leviathan gasped, holding her hand over her mouth.

Lucifer gritted his teeth, his heart and eyes filled with rage.

Malacoda stared off into the distance with a lost, musing look in his eyes.

And Haku just listened in shock.

"I kept holding onto the urn with my life. Hades stabbed my right arm slowly, all the way to the bone with twenty six knives and then dug in my wound and ripped out a piece of my muscle. He finally got the urn after killing the only arm I had left. He opened it and the power didn't even acknowledge him, instead it was sucked into my chest...a-and...I..lost control and murdered Hades the same way he tortured me. And then I murdered all of his men. I somehow managed to come back from it. Then I consumed Hades soul."

My body trembled in fear of Haku's reaction. I couldn't even look his way.

Haku could only stare in silence.

The others looked at Haku in suspense.

"Are you okay..(F/N)?" Haku asked as he stared at the ground and clenching his fist.

I quickly turned to him curiously.

"W..What?" I asked.

Haku took a deep breath and exhaled.

"My father..he was the kindest man I knew..before His Majesty passed. Then he became obsessed over taking His Majesty's place as King. He..H-He..treated me like I was a lost soul in this place. Abusing me, calling me names, tossing me to the side like garbage. He acknowledged that overgrown mosquito more than me. What he did to you..was unforgivable. And he deserved what was coming to him. I'm so sorry, (F/N)..I'm so sorry.." Haku said as he silently cried.

He turned his back to us. His body slightly shaking, trying to hold back crying out for his father.

I bit my lip and walked up to Haku and held him from behind.

Haku held onto my arms and we fell to our knees.

I couldn't say a word, because if I did, I would be crying along with him.

I don't have the right to cry.

The only thing I could do, was this.

My right hand turned skeletal and ghostly.

I gently reached into his chest and touched his heart ever so softly.

'..I realize I don't have the right to ask for forgiveness. No amount of punishment and suffering will be enough to atone for what I've done to you. But..I will watch over you always. And when (F/N) passes on, I'll still watch over you, even when you die, I'll watch over you. (F/N) has grown to be a fine young man..Just as you have, Haku. (F/N)'s heartache, pain, sorrow, all of his emotions are now shared with me. I had no idea how he thought about me, but he really loved me as an uncle. I can feel his guilt for killing me..and leaving you with no father..Its almost unbearable. I know he will always protect you along with the rest of his friends. I will atone for my actions. Helping (F/N) carry his burdens, watching over you and everyone (F/N) holds dear to him will only be the start of it. Please..accept my power, Haku. For your friends sake. Since I'm (F/N)'s uncle, you're his cousin. He is the only family you have left. You won't ever be alone with (F/N) by your side..Be safe, Haku.

My veins shined Blood Red as Hades power ran through my arm and into Haku's chest.

Haku held onto my arm tightly.

I slowly pulled my hand out of Haku's chest and stood up.

Haku opened his Blood Red and Yellow eyes slightly.

'Dad..thank you.' Haku said to himself.

-

"Ah, you're finally here." Magnus said.

We were at the base of the catsle's mountain.

Haku screamed and jumped behind me.

"It's him! That's the monster I seen at the bottom of Hell!" Haku yelled.

"You wound me.." Magnus said.

"It's fine, Haku. This is Magnus. He is a fallen God. He's my other Uncle." I said, giving him a reassuring smile.

"Is he nice?" Haku whispered.

"Mm." I nodded.

"Um..It's nice to meet you, Uncle Magnus." Haku greeted Magnus with a handshake.

"Uncle?" Magnus asked.

"Well..I'm (F/N)'s cousin. That makes I family, to, right?" Haku asked.

Magnus sighed and smiled. "I suppose so."

"And these three are Lucifer, Leviathan, and Malicoda." I said, pointing towards them.

"Hello, sir." Lucifer and Leviathan said with a bow.

"Yo." Malicoda said casually.

"Hi, nice to meet you." Magnus gave a devilish smile. "You've been taking care of his highness properly, I presume?" Magnus asked in a intimidating way.

"W-We have, sir." Leviathan said.

"Good job. Let's move on, then. We have a long climb ahead of us." Magnus said.
