Natsu and Ares
"Hmph," Natsu grumbled, trekking through Olympus, "Dunno why Laxus gets to be king of Octopus."
"Olympus," Happy corrected, "And why do you want to be stuck ruling a kingdom? That's not like you, Natsu."
"I don't care about ruling," Natsu told his cat, "I just wanted to fight the god king! I bet I coulda taken him down! I could've roasted him faster then Laxus!" he glanced around, frowning, "Hey, Happy, where is everyone?"
"Looking for the other gods," Happy replied, "And since Laxus took over Zeus's spot, maybe you could take over someone else's."
"Yeah! I wanna be the god of fire!"
"I think the god of fire's also the god of metal work and stuff," Happy meowed, "And you're not exactly the most talented in that area."
"Then the god of fighting," Natsu boxed at an invisible opponent as if warming up for a fight, "There's gotta be one of those, right?"
"Ask Levy, she knows more then I do," Happy shrugged, "But I think that's Ares."
"Lucy's Celestial Spirit? Where's Lucy? I need to get Aries!"
"No, Natsu, the other Ares, the god of war," Happy put a paw over his face in exasperation, "I think that's him over there, riding the Harley."
"Who's Harley?"
"A motorcycle. He's riding a motorcycle."
"Oh, I see it!" Natsu put a hand above his eyes to shade his vision as he looked to his left to see a man on a motorcycle a few dozen yards away, "I wanna fight him! C'mon, Happy, let's go get him!"
"Aye, sir!" the blue cat flew after Natsu as the fire dragon slayer charged Ares.
Natsu skidded to a halt in front of the motorcycle, and it stopped abruptly, kicking up dust into their eyes. "Hey, punks!" Ares shouted, "Get out of the road, before I flatten you."
"Are you Ares?" Natsu demanded, pointing his finger in the war god's face.
"The one and only," Ares pulled off his biker helmet, his eyes hard and glinting with a dangerous light, "Why d'you ask?"
Before Ares had a chance to react, Natsu punched him off of the motorcycle, but the war god rolled to his feet. Ares straightened, cracking his knuckles threateningly, "Oh, you mess with me, you've got another thing comin'!" he drew a sword from thin air, and twirled it expertly in his hands.
Natsu's fists lit up with fire, and he banged them together with a grin, "I'm all fired up now!"
Meanwhile, Lucy had been wandering through Olympus, wondering where everyone had gone, and saw the thick, black smoke twisting through the air not too far away, immediately suspecting Natsu. "What has that idiot gotten up to now?" she frowned, but began heading towards the smoke to see what was going on.
Lucy climbed the ridge to see chaos beneath her. Natsu had burned down several buildings as he fought Ares, and Ares had blown a few things up himself.
Another blond haired girl walked up beside Lucy, giving the battle seen an irritated look, "Do they know how long it took to design that stuff? It took forever to design those buildings. Argh, there goes another one! Those crazy barbarians! If that's Percy picking a fight with Ares again, so help me I will teach him a lesson he won't forget!"
"Um... who are you?" Lucy frowned at the girl. She didn't look much like a god.
"Oh, I'm Annabeth," the girl still staring disapprovingly at the battle, "Daughter of Athena. Who're you?"
"I'm Lucy, from Fairy Tail."
"Nice to meet you. Any idea what's going on down there?" Annabeth glanced over at her with a questioning look.
"Natsu's fighting some guy..." Lucy looked back at the battle, which seemed to have gotten pretty intense, "Any idea who the guy with the sword is?"
"That's Ares."
"Oh, okay. Wait, WHAT?!!! Ares...? AS IN THE WAR GOD?!!!" Lucy shouted, "Natsu's picking a fight with the god of war?!"
"Yep," Annabeth shrugged, "So is that other guy your friend?"
"Yes," Lucy said stiffly, "He's going to get himself killed, the idiot!"
In the fight, Natsu ducked Ares sword, smoothly pulling back from the kick the war god threw at him, and landing a blow across Ares's face. But Ares retaliated with a swift uppercut, knocking Natsu back wards. Grinning in triumph, Ares raised his sword, but Natsu shouted, "Now, Happy!"
The blue cat zoomed up, dropping Ares's biking helmet backwards over the war god's head, so Ares staggered, unable to see, and Natsu slammed his fiery fist against Ares's face, knocking him out. "Yeah!"
"Yay!!" Happy exclaimed, "I'll go give him to Erza so she can take him to Laxus! Though you kinda cheated..."
"Eh," Natsu waved it off, "I still won. Now I'm the god of war!"
"I don't think it works like that, Natsu," Happy frowned, "Oh, well. Laxus will send him to Hawaii with Zeus and Hera."
"Who?"
"Zeus was the king of the gods, and Hera's his wife," Happy meowed, "Hera went with Zeus, saying something about a vacation. And Mirajane took her spot."
Lucy and Annabeth walked up as Happy said that, and Lucy frowned at them, "Isn't Hera the goddess of family? And did you say Mira's taken her place? Why are we taking over anyway?"
"I don't know who you are, but you owe Olympus a lot of money for those buildings you destroyed," Annabeth told Natsu, giving him a displeased look.
"Take it out of Laxus's money," Natsu shrugged, slinging Ares over his shoulder, "I'm gonna go take this guy to Laxus, 'kay Happy? Make sure Lucy doesn't burn anything down."
"ME?!!! HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT YOU DID TO THIS PLACE?!" Lucy shouted, pointing behind her at the smoking remains of the obliterated temples, statues, and buildings. "I'm not the one burning things down!"
"Whatever!" Natsu shrugged again, and sprinted back towards the castle building, followed by Lucy who was still shouting at him indignantly.
Annabeth was frowning at Happy, "Did I hear you speak a few moments ago?"
Happy decided it would be easier to not explain, so he shook his head, meowing.
"D-did you just shake your head?" Annabeth stared at him incredulously.
"No. Um, I mean... meow."
"You're a talking cat?!! H-how is that possible?!"
"It's a long story." Happy sighed, zipping off after Natsu and Lucy.
