Levy's POV

I sigh as I watch the world swim by. I am currently sitting at the edge of the palace of Atlantis. I look around. If I swim straight I will soon hit the use to be boarder of the disbanded kingdom of Phantom Lord. Sharks and mermaids from Atlantis and Fairy Tail can take together. Marriage is iffy. My friend Lucy is going to marry Natsu. He is a Shark from Fairy Tail. They are both royalty so afterwards it will be legal. I can't wait for her wedding! I see two sharks swim up to me. They look like to be arguing.

"No we were suppose to go to the right not straight," one tells him.

"I'm telling you we had to go straight," the other explain.

"You need some help," I ask them as I swim over to them.

"Yes. We are trying to find the palace. We want to go of a tour," the shark that is green tells me.

"And we are not even close to it," the shark that is cherry red tells his friend.

"It's actually behind us," I tell them.

"Thanks for telling us. The name's Speedy. That's Gif," the green shark tells me.

"It's nice to meet you. My name is Levy," I tell them.

"Like Princess Levy?"

"Yup!"

Suddenly their friendly smile turns dark.

"Um...what's up?"

"Looks like we found one Regime. Let's grab her and go," the cherry red shark tells his friend.

"Yup."

They lunge at me as I spin and try and get away. In a blink of an eye as was not outside of the palace, but far away.

"Nice. In the safety zone. Now to get her to Master," Regime says.

They tie me up and hold onto my as they force me to swim away from my home.

"Let me go! Where are you taking me?!"

"Relax cutie. You will soon be off to who knows where and will never see your home again," the cherry red shark tells me.

"Yeah. We are right now in the land that use to be part of Phantom Lord," Regime tells me.

"Let me go!!!"

"No way. Your the catch of the day! Right Med," Regime as his friend.

"Yup! No one can save you!"

Suddenly a dark shadow surrounds us as they turn around. They shout if fear and drop my as they try to swim away. An Iron Rod hits them as they hit the sand and don't move. I look back to see crimson eyes looking at me.

"Ya alright there Shrimp," he ask me as he picks me up.

"Y-yeah. Thanks for saving me," I tell him as he cuts the rope.

"No problem Shrimp. So what are ya doing with those creeps?"

"They took me from outside of my home and brought me here against my will. And I'm not a Shrimp," I tell him.

"Are ya sure? Yer pretty small and cute ta be one," he tells me as I blush a bit at his statement.

"Anyway. My name is Levy McGarden," I tell him as we shake hands.

"Gajeel Redfox. So yer a mermaid princess," he states.

"Yup," I tell him.

"GeeHee. Who knew I would save a princess when I went out to check out the area I rule over," he says.

"You rule this area over," I ask as he nods his head.

"Yup. After José made Phantom Lord be disbanded I was able to unified this small area," Gajeel tells me. "I may not look like it, but I'm the true heir of Phantom Lord."

"Are you pulling my tail? They said that the prince of King Blackbite was lost a long time ago," I say.

"And that is why I hate José. Took over the kingdom to wage war against the other sharks to gain land and power. And yes, my father is Blackbite Redfox. Our last name are the same," Gajeel tells me.

"That is true. Where were you when José took over?"

"I was with the Iron Dragon Metalicana. My father wanted me to know Dragon-Slayer magic. His old friend was Metalicana so they turned me human for some time to I could learn my magic on the surface. When I hear that war have started Metalicana wouldn't let me leave," Gajeel explains. "So I was training with him until the potion wore out. Then I found myself here. Everyone in the area heard about my return and they wanted me to lead them. I said alright and here we are today. I'm trying to get enough sharks to help me to overthrow José and reclaim the capital. After that make another kingdom with a different name and bring the needed peace in this part of the Sea."

"That sounds fantastic," I tell him. "I'll be rooting for you to succeed."

"Alright thanks Shrimp. Ya wanna to stay at my place for the night? Then tomorrow Pantherlily and I can return ya to yer boarder so ya can go home," Gajeel ask me.

"Sure. And who is Pantherlily," I ask as I follow him as we swim off.

"A friend of mine. We were childhood friends and met up once I got back," he tells me.

"That's great to hear," I say.

Soon we reach his house. It wasn't a fancy palace or a grand castle. It was a basic house like how everyone lives in. Gajeel opens the door as I swim in behind him.

"Make yerself at home. Lily should be back from getting food soon. Then we can explain why there is a mermaid in our house," Gajeel tells me as I sit on the sofa.

"Alright. And thank you again for saving me. I don't know where I would be without you," I say as I smile.

"No problem Shrimp," Gajeel tells me as we hear the door open up.

"Hey Iron Head you in here," a voice says.

"Yeah. Stay right there. I'll be right there Erik," Gajeel says as he swim off to the door.
