We find you and Lucy landing in the village, surprising the villagers.

Lucy: We've got trouble everyone!

Saber: We found the guys behind the purple moon. They plan to attack the village and we need to muster up some defenses.

Chief: What's this? Why haven't you destroyed the moon yet?!

Saber: Did you not just hear me?

Some villagers take the chief away.

Villager: Forgive him... He hasn't been the same since Bobo's death...

Saber: I understand... But we need to hurry.

Lucy: I've got a plan!

You use the Jackun-to-Domamenoki book to surround the village walls with powerful vines to thicken the defenses while Lucy has Virgo dig a pitfall trap at the village entrance.

Saber: You sure a pitfall will work?

Lucy: Of course.

You notice someone running towards the village. You get ready to attack until you realize it's Natsu with Gray and Theo over his shoulders.

Lucy: Natsu?!

The pink haired wizard keeps running towards the pitfall trap.

Saber: Stop!

Natsu does in fact stop... Right on top of the pitfall, causing him, as well as Gray and Theo, to fall into the trap. On the bright side, it does break the ice on Natsu's body.

Natsu: Ow! Hey, the ice broke!

Lucy: All according to plan!

Virgo: The ice was weakened by being out of range of the caster.

Natsu, Gray, and Theo get out of the hole and a villager points up.

Villager 2: Look!

You look to where he's pointing and bite back a curse. The giant rat monster is now flying overhead with a gigantic bucket.

Yuka: It took a long time to prepare the poison jelly but at least those wizards are all there as well.

Sherry: Those who get in the way of our goal must meet with death...

A drop of the bucket's contents falls and almost hits Lucy until Natsu tackles her out of the way. The droplet hits the ground and burns a hole in the earth where Lucy stood.

Villager 3: They've got a whole bucket of that stuff!

The rat swings the bucket, sending the jelly flying down towards the village.

Natsu: Everyone! To the center of the village!

Chief: I can't leave my son's grave!

Saber: You need to move!

Natsu: Fire Dragon... BRILLIANT FLAME!!!

Natsu unleashes a massive wave of fire that causes the jelly to part, protecting the villagers. A glob of the jelly flies at the chief, who is still holding his son's gravestone.

Villager: Chief!

He would have been hit if not for Virgo's quick reaction time, saving him with the gravestone being surprisingly intact.

Chief: Bobo's grave...

Unfortunately the stone is kicked over by Yuka.

Sherry: I wanted to make this quick and painless but you've chosen the path of painful death.

Saber: You...

You point your sword at the trio.

Saber: I'm putting a stop to this now! Because I will decide how this story ends!

You rush at the trio but Sherry flies after the villagers on her rat.

Yuka: You'll be the first to die!

You suddenly get hit by invisible force.

Saber: Gah!

Yuka: How do you like my wave magic? It will tear you apart!

He sends another wave of magic at you and sends you flying.

Natsu: Y/N!

Toby: Nuh uh. You're fighting me, Pinky!

His fingernails elongate into claws.

Toby: Have a taste of my paralyzing claws!

Natsu: ... Hey. You got something right here.

Natsu taps his forehead and the dog-faced guy does the same, forgetting about his own claws and paralyzing himself.

Yuka: I can't believe you fell for that...

Natsu: You're next, Eyebrows!

Natsu charges at Yuka and the blue haired wizard holds Natsu back with another attack and you notice Yuka's reliance on his hands.

Saber: Gotcha...

You punch the ground with your Jackun armored arm and vines surround Yuka, binding him completely.

Yuka: What?!

Hissatsu Dokuha!

Rekka Battou! Dragon! Jack-to-Mamenoki! Niisatsu Giri! F-F-Fire!

Natsu: Fire Dragon Flame Elbow!

The attacks connect and knock Yuka unconscious.

Saber: That's two down. Hopefully Lucy can handle the third.

Theo: Y/N...

You turn and Theo is barely conscious, dragging himself and Gray over.

Theo: We... Need...

He faints and you catch him.

Saber: Woah... Take it easy...

You de-transform and help a villager take Theo and Gray to a location the villagers use to store supplies.

Female Villager: Thank you for saving us from those horrible people...

Y/N: Unfortunately, there's still their leader to deal with. I'm going to keep watch. When they wake up, tell our friends here to find me.

Female Villager: Right.

You step out of the tent and see a sword pointed at your nose.

Erza: Y/N... You're in a world of trouble.

The next morning, Theo and Gray wake up. Theo puts on his glasses which are surprisingly intact. The villager from last night tells them to go to another tent but when they arrive, the find Erza sitting there with Happy, Lucy, and you tied up.

Gray: Erza?!

Theo: Lucy! Happy! Y/N!

Erza: Lucy explained the basic facts. Weren't you two supposed to stop them?

Gray: ...

Theo: ...

Erza: I'm too disappointed to even put it into words...

Gray: Where's Natsu?

Erza: That's what I want to know.

Theo: Lucy, where is he?

Lucy: I don't know.

Y/N: We fought the Sub-Zero Emperor's lackeys but I haven't seen him since.

Lucy: Then Erza told me to take her to where you guys were.

Theo: I'm surprised you found this place. The villagers use it as a secret place to keep supplies.

Erza: In other words, Natsu's running around because he doesn't know this location. Gray, Theo, I'm going to find him. Afterwards, we're returning to the guild.

Gray: What?! But if you heard the basics, you must know about the situation the island's dealing with!

Erza: What about it?

Theo and Gray stare at her in shock. You try to break out of your ropes but it does you no good.

Erza: I'm here to bring back those who broke guild rules. I don't care about anything else.

Theo: Haven't you seen what's happened to these people?!

Erza: I have.

Gray: And you plan on just leaving them like this?!

Erza: Their request is on the request board of every guild. This is a job meant for those who officially take it.

Gray: Erza... I thought you were better than this!

Erza's eye twitches, an expression you've learned to associate with trouble...

Erza: You intend to break the rules as well?!

She draws a sword and points it at the ice wizard.

Erza: Then you'll be punished as well.

Theo reaches for his Seiken but Gray grabs the blade, causing his hand to bleed.

Gray: Do whatever you want! This is the path we're taking! There's something we have to do here!

He throws the blade away from himself.

Gray: So if you want to stab me in the back for that, go ahead!

Gray leaves with Theo right behind him. Erza grits her teeth and she turns to glare at Lucy, Happy, and you.

Y/N: Erza... Just calm down...

She cuts the three of you free.

Lucy: Huh?

Erza: Let's go... No one's listening to reason here! So we'll get this job done first!

Lucy smiles.

Erza: You're still going to be severely punished...

Y/N: Of course...

Meanwhile, Lyon sits in a chamber in the temple he's been working from.

Lyon: How pitiful... You're all that's left?

He looks at Toby.

Lyon: Those Fairy Tail pests aren't half bad...

Toby: Can... We keep the fact I beat myself between us?

?????: This could threaten Deliora's revival.

Lyon: Zalty... I didn't see you.

Zalty, an old mask wearing wizard smiles.

Zalty: This evening we will pour all of the moon's magic in and free Deliora. But if the Moon Drip is interfered with... Deliora will remain frozen.

Lyon: I should've handled everything from the beginning.

Zalty: You're facing Fairy Tail's Salamander and Saber.

Lyon: Informed as always... But they can't defeat me.

They feel the temple around them shake violently.

Toby: An earthquake?!

Lyon: What is this?!

They see Natsu on the ground floor as holes form in the ground.

Natsu: I'm used to wrecking stuff without thinking. But actually trying is pretty hard. Now the moonlight won't get underground to that demon!

Lyon: How dare you, you upstart...

Natsu launches himself at the group, hitting Lyon in the chest with a headbutt. Only for the wizard to shatter into ice shards. Lyon used an ice copy to take the hit so he can attack Natsu, only for the Dragon Slayer melts the ice attack.

Natsu: Fire Dragon Roar!

Zalty raises a hand and the ground under Natsu crumbles, sending him falling.

Lyon: What did you do?

Zalty: Forgive me. But I can't let you die before Deliora is revived.

Lyon: You think he can kill me?

The area around them begins to freeze over.

Lyon: I am Sub-Zero Emperor Lyon. The only wizard who can defeat Deliora. I will not be shamed by a brat like him!

Back to your group, you join Theo and Gray heading towards the temple to try to find Natsu and discover that your pink haired friend has tilted the temple.

Theo: I will never be unimpressed by Natsu's strangely smart tactics. Now the Moon Drip shouldn't be able to reach Deliora.

A group of Lyon's followers charge at you.

Y/N: Damn... You guys find Natsu! I'll keep these guys busy! Henshin!

Brave Dragon!
Storm Eagle!

Rekka Battou! Dragon Eagle!

You transform and fly at the followers.

Gray: Let's move!

Theo and Gray arrive to the fight between Lyon and Natsu.

Gray: Hey, Natsu. Let me handle him.

Natsu: You already lost once!

Gray: This is the final battle...

Lyon: I'm surprised at your confidence.

Gray: Ten years ago, you blamed me for Ur's death... But you put your own people in danger... Ordered the murder of the villagers... And you try to melt that ice! I won't let it happen! You and I will receive our punishment together! Lyon!

The Ice Wizard crosses his arms in front of him.

Lyon: That position!

Theo: No... Gray! Don't do it! There has to be another way!

Gray: If we don't stop Lyon now, Ur's sacrifice would've been for nothing! That's why I'll end this now!

Theo: But using Iced Shell?!

Natsu: "Iced Shell?"

Gray: Turn the islanders back to normal right now and leave with your minions! This is the one chance I'm giving you!

Lyon: You're using that spell as a theat... Pitiful!

Icy energy erupts around Gray, knocking Theo backwards.

Gray: I'm serious. It doesn't matter how many years pass... Nothing will change the truth that Ur's gone! I know that! And I'll take responsibility for it! And that's why... I'm ready to die right here!

Theo: Gray!

Gray: So answer me, Lyon! Are you going to die here with me... Or do you still want to live?!

Lyon: Try it! You don't have the courage to die!

Gray closes his eyes briefly.

Gray: It's too bad.

Natsu: No!

Gray: Iced Sh-

Natsu: You idiot!

Natsu runs over and punches Gray, stopping him from casting the spell.

Gray: Natsu...

Natsu: I'm not gonna let you cast that spell, so you can just forget it! We're a Guild, we can stop this guy together!

Gray stares at Natsu, the wizard who he always fights with... And smiles.

Gray: Right.

Theo notices something off...

Theo: The temple... It's back to normal?

Natsu: How?!

Zalty: Ho ho ho!

Natsu: How'd you do that?!

Zalty runs away, likely to resume the Moon Drip ceremony.

Natsu: Get back here! He chases the old wizard, leaving Gray and Theo to fight Lyon

Theo: Let's do this!

Lion Senki!

Theo: Henshin!

Nagare Battou! Lion Senki!

Blades: Lyon... Before we continue, you need to know something.

Gray: Ur is still alive in that ice. Iced Shell turns the user into ice but as long as that ice remains, it contains the caster's life. So stop melting it!

Lyon: Don't you think I know that?

He goes to stab Gray but Theo knocks the ice sword away.

Lyon: As for you! YOU TURNED YOUR BACK ON OUR TRAINING!

Lyon launches his ice dragon at Theo who guards to prevent major damage.

Lyon: FOR WHAT?! AN INFERIOR MAGIC STYLE?!

The living ice slams into Theo again and the swordsman gets knocked to the ground.

Lyon: UR WOULD BE ASHAMED!

The dragon goes in for the kill but the Swordsman of Water suddenly swings Nagare, shattering the icy construct.

Theo: You're wrong... Ur motivated me to follow my own path.

(Flashback)

We find a much younger Gray and Lyon traveling with a black haired woman.

Lyon: Looks like Deliora has destroyed another town...

Gray notices something.

Gray: Ur! Look!

He runs over to a younger Theo. The boy's glasses have a broken lens and he is covered in injuries.

Ur: Stay with me!

Theo: Deliora... It destroyed everything...

From that day on, Theo joined Lyon and Gray in Ur's teachings. One day, an older man walks up to the group when they're in a town to buy food.

Man: Excuse me, may I speak with the four of you?

Ur: Oh? What's going on?

Man: Forgive me... But I had to stop you to discuss this.

He holds up a familiar blade, Nagare. The blade glows a faint blue.

Man: I'm afraid I'm growing too old to continue as a Swordsman. This sword is one of the legendary Seiken and I think one of your boys here might be the next Swordsman of Water.

Ur: What?

Man: The sword will react to the one it deems worthy. All they have to do is place their hand on the handle.

Lyon: No way! I'm perfectly happy where I am!

Gray: Same!

Theo stares at the blade. He takes a hold of the handle and the Seiken glows an even brighter blue.

Theo: W-Woah...

Man: It seems Nagare has chosen you. But I'm afraid you'll have to come with me to my Guild to train.

Theo: I'll have to leave Ur?

Man: I'll give you time to decide.

That night, Theo is up late.

Ur: Can't sleep?

She sits beside him.

Theo: Just... I feel like I have to do this but... I don't want to leave you or Gray or Lyon. You're like family to me.

Ur: ... I can't tell you what to do in this situation. Just... Do what you feel is right.

Theo: ... I understand. Thank you, Ur. And after I finish my training as a swordsman, I can always visit.

Theo hugs her, not knowing that's the last time he'll ever see her.

(End of Flashback)

Theo: I ended up in Fairy Tail. I went down my own road. I carry this sword because it is the responsibility I have been given. But I couldn't have made that choice if Ur didn't motivate me!

He gets up and takes a deep breath.

Theo: So I swear... By the Suiseiken, Nagare, to beat you!

He sheathes the sword in his Driver before pulling out the Peter Fantasista Wonder Ridebooks as well as a new book.

Lion Senki!

Tenkuu no Pegasus!
Katsute souhaku no tsubasa o motsu shinjuu ga ten-kara kagayaki maiorita...

He places it in his Driver before drawing Nagare once more, taking on a fully armored form.

Nagare Battou! Aoki yajyu (Aoki yajyu) no tategami ga (No tategami ga) sora ni nabiku~! (Sora ni nabiku) Fantastic Lion~!! Nagare Sansatsu! Konpeki no tsurugi ga kiba wo muki ginga wo seisu!

Blades: Gray... Let's end this... Together!

Gray: Right!

Lyon: Ice Make... Snow Tiger!

Lyon makes a giant tiger out of ice but Gray quickly counters.

Gray: Ice Make Prison!

The tiger is trapped in an ice cage, unable to break free.

Gray: I told you. One handed ice make has bad balance. Ice Cannon!

He blasts Lyon with a cannon made of ice while Theo flies at him, slashing in a fierce yet controlled style.

Nagare Battou! Pegasus! Lion! Peter Fan! Sansatsu Giri! W-W-W-Water!

Blades: Hydro Vortex!

Theo delivers a final strike that leaves Lyon unconscious. But their victory is short lived as a horrific roar echoes across the temple.

Blades: No... Deliora...

The duo find Natsu standing off against a now free Deliora.

Gray: No! There's only one way to stop it!

He goes to cast Iced Shell but Natsu stands between Gray and the demon.

Natsu: I told you... I won't let you cast that spell!

He charges at Deliora and the two punch at each other. Their fists collide but Deliora falls apart.

Blades: No way... Deliora's body must've grown too weak since it was trapped for so long...

Gray and Thei look at the melted ice that was their former teacher.

Gray: Ur...
