Disclaimer: Hey guys! Firestorm40 here with a new chapter for you all. This more like a sneak peek that an actual chapter. I was actually using the beginning of episode 176  to write this. This is where Sora and Natsu fight against the 10000 dragons. So without further ado, Enjoy!

Chaos. Chaos was the only way to describe the scene before her. Two days ago the only problems she had were the two losses she had with Flare and Minerva and now she had 10,000 dragons roaming EarthLand. To say the least she was no longer upset over her losses. She had never thought she would end up in a situation like this. Rubble was all she could see. As far as she knew, there were no buildings left standing. Her friends were nowhere to be found. At the moment she felt helpless and alone. She didn't even know if her friends were alive; all she could do was hope. Fires were spread out across what used to be the kingdom and explosions popped up every five seconds. Looking up there was no longer a sky, all anyone could see were dragons; 10,000 to be exact.

"I can't believe it...." Lucy muttered. "They're all gone."

Tears lined her eyes as her thoughts drifted to where her friends were. Suddenly, a red dragon came flying at her. It stopped in front of her and inhaled. She knew what was coming. She was battered and broken and too weak to get up. Lucy closed her eyes as she waited for the impact of the burning fire but it never came. She opened her eyes and looked behind her to find none other than her than her orange haired boyfriend protecting her while her pink-haired friend was eating the fire. She couldn't have felt more relieved and grateful for the fact that Sora and Natsu was alive, safe, and had just saved her life.

 "Sorry we kept you waiting, Lucy. Cocky lizards...." Lucy was shaken out of her thoughts at Natsu's words cut through her thoughts and she looked back to see the pure hatred on his face.

Sora kneeled down next to Lucy, never taking his eyes off of the dragon in case it decided to strike again, "are you okay?" He asked. Lucy noticed he had blood dripping down the right side of his face.

"Yeah. I have a couple bruises but I am good. I am completely out of magic energy though and don't have my keys" Lucy told him.

"Don't worry, Luce. Just hang back for a bit." Sora said as he  kissed the top of her head before getting to his feet and stood beside Natsu as the dragon that attacked Lucy stood in front of them, roaring.

"Listen up, bastard!" Natsu yelled at the dragon. "You just picked a fight with the wrong guys! We're Natsu Dragneel and Sora Lionheart of the Fairy Tail guild! We're Dragon Slayers!"

Sora punched his fist with a cold glare. "And we're here to do just that."

Suddenly, a few more dragons came down at hurled fireballs out their mouths at the duo, seemingly consuming them. However, Sora and Natsu flew out of the flames went to attack with Sora facing 500 on the left and Natsu facing 500 on the right.

"Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame!" Natsu shouted as he threw a large fireball at one dragon while shooting streams of fire at another. He then saw a third dragon coming at him, sharp teeth bared. Natsu jumped over the lizard's head and ran across it's back before he used the dragon's tail to launched him high into the towards a another random dragon. He ignited one of his hands and then swung it in an arc, striking the target with his fingertips, leaving a flurry of flames in his wake. "Fire Dragon's Crushing Fang!"

Meanwhile, Sora was also holding his own against the massive creatures. "Solar Dragon's Wing Attack!" He jumped forward and blasts any dragon close to him with rays of sunlight from his palms. He then somersault in the air as his hands glowed white and golden before he released small ball orbs, shooting like missiles from his hands towards the targets.

"Solar Dragon's Missile Spheres!"

The orbs launched across the sky and hit several dragons that they came into contact with. Seeing a random dragon flying below him, Sora dove down towards it and engulfed his arm in solar light. "Solar Dragon's Blazing Hammer!" He then drove his fist down upon the dragon's head and with great strength and power, sent it hurling down towards the ground with a massive crash.

Seeing the two duo facing the swarm, tears began to roll down Lucy's cheeks. "Guys...it's no use." She sobbed as she sat there. "Please stop."

Soon, Sora and Natsu hopped on top of one of the dragons and stood back to back, shooting out solar light and fire respectively at any dragon that came near them.

"We're not giving up that easily!" They shouted and continued to shoot down dragon after dragon.

They were so focusing on the other dragons that they didn't see the one that attacked Lucy coming at them, until it blew fire at both of them and shot them off the dragon they were standing on.

"Ugrh!" The dragon slayer cried out as they hit the dragon with a crash.

"Sora! Natsu!" Lucy shouted, worrying about the two.

"We ain't quitting...We refuse..." Natsu declared as he climbed to his feet and rubbed wipe his cheek. Soon, the dragon that shot them down came flying towards them with a loud roar.

"...There's no way we'll run or turn back." Sora said, before he spit out some blood and drew his sword from his scabbard. At the same time, Nastu ignited one of right hand in flames.

"DO YOU HEAR US!?" Nastu yelled as he and Sora shot towards the dragon with so much ferocity. "YOU'RE DEAD MEAT!"

"BRING IT ON, YOU OVERGROWN GECKO!" Sora shouted, clenching his blade tightly.

"SORA! NATSU!" Lucy screamed out as she saw them launch at the dragon with battle cries.

After that, there was a loud roar before everything went blank.

There you have it! A quick sneak peek of what's coming. Sorry if it was a bit short, but I think it was a great stopping point.
