Tuly Town...

"Looks like we made it to a town." Sora said, as he stretched his arms.

"Roger that!" Lucas said fro atop of his head.

"Let's just stop here for today..." Lucy said as she, Sora, Natsu, Lexi, Kiki and Happy arrived at one of their destination points labeled on the celestial mage's notes. They journeyed far south of Crocus in hopes of recovering the scattered members of Fairy Tail.

"this feels like such a nice day." Lexi commented.

"Aye!" Happy agreed before looking over his shoulder at the quite one of the group. "What's the matter, Natsu?"

"Hmmm..." The dragon slayer responded as he stared up at a nearby structure.

"Ah, that's the clock tower you broke once, huh..." The Exceed commented as he looked up at the object as well.

"Yeah...it's great they got it fixed..."

"It makes a really weird boundary line now though..." Kiki spoke.

"Yeah..." Natsu thought about it for a minute before stating that he should destroy it again just for old time sake. "I wanna see how big it can get!"

"Oh no you don't!" Lucy snapped, hitting him in the head with the rolled up pieces of paper. "You really miss the old chaotic days don't you?"

"There's not enough action here! After all that training I did...!" Natsu protested in a loud voice, feeling that the serene gentleness was getting on his nerves. "How the hell did those people win the Grand magic games! It's a joke! So much for crushing Gray and challenging Erza and Laxus when we were back together again, argh!"

"He's off on his little rant again..." Lucy sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose in annoyance.

"You'd get used to it." Lexi told her.

"Sora, Lucy, both would do for now." Natsu commented, peering at them from over his shoulder with a glint in his eyes. "Fight me!"

"Hehe! I'm up for it." Sora smirked.

"'No way'..." She replied before humoring him. "...is what I'd like to say to you but...I've been doing a little training myself you know..."

"Oh. You have?" He asked her in curiosity.

"Yeah, she even managed to stay on equal ground with Sora for a while." Lucas replid.

"I don't think I'd be able to beat you at your best but...would you like to have a sparring match?" Her hands were already on her keys, a challenging smile on her face as her blood boiled. She's been hoping to show him her own improved powers and demonstrate just how good she had become.

"Hang on." Sora tensed up and his senses were on high alert, his eyes darting back and forth in wonder.

"What's wrong?" She asked him, knowing that anything he picks up through his sense of smell was always on point. "Eek!" She yelped as he blew a Solar Dragon's Roar right between her legs without warning. He waited for a few minutes, tiling his head to the side before grinning broadly.

"Heh." He smirked, knowing that he took out the group of thieves on the outskirts of town without a sweat. "Nailed them."

"Hey!" Lucy frowned at him with pink-tinted cheeks. "What was all that about huh?!"

"Sorry about that, Luce." Sora said, rubbing his head.

"Nahh, don't sweat it!" Natsu replied, still smirking to himself. "It got handled."

"I've become quite strong too you know!" She told him to which he replied that he lost interest in having their little battle, pissing her off a little. The seven of them continued wondering around until they found an inn and decided to rest. They huddled in a room to go over the plan thoroughly.

"Eh?! You don't know where all of them are!?" Natsu and Happy asked her in unison when she told them that she was just going off of what she had gathered.

"But I thought you kept up wit information on everyone." Lexi said.

"Well yeah, I did keep an eye out but it was impossible to get everyone at the same time in the same place..." Lucy replied, propping her legs up on the table in front of her while Sora's leaned against a wall.. "You of all people should know."

"Yeah...I understand."

"But first things first, we have to reach Magaret town which is south-east of here..." She pointed to a map so that the two could see where they were headed off to. 

"That's Lamia Scale's town apparently..." Lucas sitting in Lucy's lap.

"Lyon and Jura's place huh!" Natsu grinned as he cracked his knuckles in anticipation. "Just the people I need for a fight!"

"And the doggy-guy too!" Happy added.

"Yeah, but guess who else made it into...that Lamia Scale we're talking about?" Sora smiled and the seven of them hurried to Margaret Town just in time to see the very same guild hosting their annual Thanksgiving parade. The streets were backed up as the townsfolk crowded around the guild but luckily there was room for the three of them near the end.

"Coming up, the ace of Lamia Scale!" Yuka Suzuki announced as the crowd cheered and applauded. The Lamia Scale member hadn't changed much since a year ago during the Games. "Lyon, presents his ice performance!" The silver-haired man stood on stage and started his routine off by creating a dozen or so ice doves. Once they were high enough into the sky, he waved his hand and they scattered into little ice shards which sprinkled down like snow. Following suit, the ice mage used his magic to create little ice bunnies that hopped around much to the delight of the town people.

"Woah! Bunnies!"

"It's so cute!" The children especially appreciated the performance as they picked up the ice animals with glee.

"Next, Toby's imitation show!" Yuka introduced the next contender as Lyon bowed in gratitude to the cheers he had received.

"Oooh!" The doggy-guy Happy was talking about rushed up to the stage with excitement. He was still missing a sock on his foot but it was hanging around his neck like a necklace. "This is an imitation of me when I'm crying! Oooon...Ooooon...Oooon..."

"An imitation of himself...?"

"Huh!?"

"Is that even an imitation?" Some of the audience members looked at each other in confusion.

"Apologies..." Lyon quickly got up and dragged his teammate off the stage.

"Hey, it ain't over yet!" Toby snapped as he tried to wrestle out of Lyon's grip. "I still have another act to perform! Unhand me!"

"Don't get angry, man!" The ice mage told him.

"N...Next up, an oriental dance routine by our very own Master!" The curtains parted as the old hag, Ooba Babasaama, stumbled out in her kimono and two fans held elegantly in her hands. After she ended her performance with her spinning technique she looked out to see that the audience members weren't amused.

"I'll strip now!" She shrieked and started to loosen up the fabric.

"EEEEH!?"

'Oh dear god...' The spectating Fairy Tail members cringed as a shoulder was revealed. 'It's slipping! It's slipping!'

"Apologies." Once more, Lyon had to intervene and drag his own master off the stage as she shouted similar that Toby shouted not too long ago.

"Next, the one you've all been waiting for..." Yuka continued as he felt the excitement from the crowd building up. "Our guild's very own angel...the Sky Sisters! Chelia and Wendy!" The crowd roared with approval and even whistled to their hearts content as the two girls stood on stage with angle wing props attached to their back.

"Aww, they look adorable!" Lexi smiled.

"Wendy was always really good friends with Chelia." Lucy commented as the two girls performed their musical number, Angels got me loving till Death.

"What the hell is she doing..." Natsu commented as he watched the performance with a shocked expression on his face, too confused and horrified to chant along with the other love-struck fools.

"Huh, it kinda sticks in your head, forever..." Happy added.

"They'r pretty good." Kiki commented.

"Wendy isn't the only one that's in another guild..." Sora explained to him. "Everyone needed jobs..."

"That's not what I meant..." The dragon slayer said as he clarified what he meant with a sour expression. "Why the hell is she on stage forever-ing!"

"Forever!" Happy and Lucas flapped their paws wildly, already drawn into the song.

"Ah, that's...Lamia Scale's Thanksgiving!" Lucy told him. "It's something like a thanksgiving parade for the people of Magnolia. To let the people get a feel of the guild and stuff..."

"We're taking Wendy back from the dark side!" The fire dragon slayer swore tearfully.

"Well, it's not like she's doing anything bad..." The celestial mage commented dryly.

"Huh? Where's Carla by the way?" Happy wondered as he looked around for the white Exceed that normally accompanied Wendy on her travels. "She isn't on the stage..."

"Maybe she's in the crowd somewhere." Lucas shrugged.

"I knew you guys would come soon..." An all-knowing voice spoke up behind the team and they turned to see a small girl with cat ears on her head and a tail coming out behind her. She had on a white-collared shirt that was tucked underneath a miniskirt and her tie sported a cat's paw print. She grinned at them with a familiar smile before brushing her hair behind her shoulder. "Sora, Natsu, Lexi, Lucy, Lucas, Kiki and...Male cat...oh sorry...Happy."

"They're all getting so excited over the parade." From the shadows, a group of mysterious characters stared out as the festivities came to a close.

"Love, Love till death!" One of them sang, dancing around much to the annoyance of the others.

"Shut up." The leader, a male with a weird bobcut hair and snake-like pupils hissed. "Tonight will be the night we lay down judgment on Lamia. The bloodfest starts now."

Lamia Scale guild...

"I don't wanna do something that embarrassing ever again..." Wendy stated in a small voice, her face red from her performance. She was so embarrassed that steam started to rise from her head.

"It was really cute though!" Chelia commented with a small smile as she held a cup of water in her hands. "Oh, you're so loved, Wendy..."

"Someone's here for you, Wendy." Lyon announced as he entered the room with a small smile, getting a confused look from the sky dragon slayer as she looked past him to see her visitors.

"Yo!"

"It's been so long!"

"You're looking well!"

"Long time no see!"

"How are ya, Wendy?!" The seven Fairy Tail mages greeted as they entered the room with bright smiles on their faces.

"Natsu! Sora" Wendy cried out with joy as she gave them each a hug, tears leaking out of her eyes. "Lucy! Lexi! Lucas! Kiki and Happy too!"

"Grown taller, haven't you?" Natsu grinned as he patted her head.

"Not really...I haven't changed at all, actually..." She told him as she wiped away the tears.

"I see..." He hoisted her over his shoulder and proceeded to carry her out the door much to her surprise. "Alright, so we'll be taking you back then!"

"HEY!" Lyon and Yuka spat, seeing the dragon slayer walk off. "Don't just take one of ours just like that!"

"Let me explain..." Sora said before he began to Wendy their plan.

"You're bringing back Fairy Tail..." Wendy stated as the group sat down for some snacks. At this point, most of the Lamia Scale members were huddled around to hear what the conversation was all about. "And getting everyone back together..."

"Yeah...the Master's been missing over the past year...I'm sure it's got something to do with the disbandment..." Lucy explained.

"Yeah, apparently he got in a lot of trouble with the council over some things..." Lyon spoke as his brows narrowed. He's heard a few things here and there in regards to the Fairy Tail master so he knew that he can't deny any rumors or information.

"The council!?" Natsu spat with worry. "That doesn't sound good..."

"Maybe he's dead already?" Happy said from where he sat on Wendy's lap.

"I doubt it's his time to kick the bucket." Lucas deadpanned.

"Yeah...you guys were up in the mountains the whole time so it isn't strange that you don't know..." Lucy chastised them.

"You can't be the master of a guild if you're part of the council, no...?" Yuka asked from where he sat at the table. "That's why they chose the Ten Wizard Saints as the councilmen."

"Woah! Really?" Lexi said in surprise.

"Jura became one too!" Toby barked angrily, grinding his teeth together.

"Stop getting so mad." Yuka told him. "It's bad for your health."

"Ten Wizard Saints ehh...they must be really strong..." Natsu grinned as he imaged himself having the greatest fight of his life. "I wanna fight them...so badly..."

"So, the Master too..." Kiki said.

"He should have but he went missing." Lucy glanced at Natsu who states that Makarov probably ran away before turning to look at Wendy.

"Well, the old man aside...come with us, Wendy..."

"U...Um..." The sky dragon slayer looked down in hesitation before smiling slowly. "I'm a part of Lamia Scale now. I can't go with you guys."

"...Huh!?"

"Wendy?!"

"Why!?" The four mages stared at her incredulously when she refused their offer. Even a couple of Lamia Scale members looked equally shocked at her decision.

"You don't have to feel indebted you know." Lyon said as she shook her head at him. "We knew this day would come..."

"Oooon...we will feel lonely without you!" Toby sobbed uncontrollably, wiping his own tears with his arms.

"Don't cry, man." Yuka stated, patting his teammate with a hand. "Don't cry."

"What do you mean, Wendy!" Natsu stood up, knocking over his stool as he stared at her. "Explain yourself!"

"This is her decision." Always the voice of reason, Carla walked in still in human form with her arms folded across her chest. "Can you stop being so forceful with her?"

"Carla..." Wendy breathed as she watched the Exceed standing up on her behalf.

"Why the heck are you human!?" Natsu exclaimed, wondering Carla why she was in human form instead of her usual Exceed form.

"Is this your true self...?" Sora asked.

"Or is that your Neko Form?" Lucas asked, which Kiki was curious to know as well.

"Oh this? Transformation magic. I learn it." The Exceed explained, puffing out her chest with pride. "It helps me strengthen my magic and also my psychic powers..." She leaned to smile smugly at Happy. "What do you think, Happy?"

"Hey, I went training too..." He told her, his fur slightly ruffled due to her teasing tone. "Learned how to...not eat...as much...fish."

"What exactly did you do there..." Lucy questioned with a quirked eyebrow.

"Are you sure that's what you want, Wendy?" Carla directed her attention back to the slayer, turning back to her Exceed form which Happy commented that she looked cute.

"Mmhmm." Wendy smiled much to the disheartened expressions on her former friends' faces, dipping her head in a nod. "This is what...I want."

"No way..." The Fairy Tail mages muttered in shock.

"Good grief." Lyon sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose with worry.

Viper inn...

"Well, that was....surprising." Sora mumbled in a dead tone.

Their visit to Wendy left the seven Fairy Tail mages...lifeless. They were utterly shocked by their friend's declaration to stay and not go with them. Sora and Lucy laid on the bed, the three exceed sat near the bed, while Lexi and Natsu sat in a chair without a word. Sensing that he needed to lighten up the mood, Natsu grabbed Happy and proceeded to tickle the underside of Lucy's foot with the Exceed's tail.

"Pfft...pffft...Ahhahhahahaha! That tickles!" The celestial mage stated with a laugh before angrily punching them both, leaving huge steaming bumps on their heads. "What the hell are you doing, you creep!"

"Well...who'd have thought things would turn out this way..." Natsu grumbled, rubbing his head with a hand. "Dang Lucy, you hit hard."

"Aye..." Happy agreed.

"I wonder if everyone else feels like Wendy..." Lucy looked away with a worried expression. 

"If that's the case, who knows how many would be willing to come back." Lexi spoke up.

"I won't give up!" Natsu growled as he stood up with a pissed off expression. "I'll just have to kidnap her!"

"Stop it!" She stopped him from doing something really stupid. "If you do that, she might not wanna come back at all!"

"Then...what can we do?" He asked her.

"Just wait." Sora told him, resting a hand on his shoulder. "If Wendy decides not to come back, then we should respect her wish and move on. We can't force her."

Meanwhile in Chelia and Wendy's home, the two girls were getting ready to get some sleep but something was gnawing away at the red-head. After watching the conversation between Wendy and the other two, she assumed that the girl would love to go back to her former guild but the opposite happened.

"Hey, Wendy..." Chelia spoke in a soft voice, noting that Charla was already sleeping soundly on Wendy's pillow. "About this afternoon..."

"Yeah...I won't be going anywhere..." Wendy told her with a small smile. "Besides, Sherry's getting married and leaving soon, isn't she...If I left you now, you'd be all alone..."

"I'm not alone..." Chelia replied as she remembered that her elder sister was indeed tying the knot soon with her man. "I have the others at Lamia Scale...the members of the guild I love so much." She smiled. "A friend isn't one that will...make another stay out of pity..."

KA-BOOM~ KA-BOOM~ KA-BOOM~ KA-BOOM~

"What's all the noise?!" Carla stated irritably and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes with a paw.

"It's coming from the guild!" Wendy exclaimed with horror, looking out the window just in time to see the guild under siege by a multitude of explosions. Changing out of their pajamas, they hurried on the scene just as Lyon and the other members were evacuating the townsfolk.

"What's with all the commotion!" Natsu roared as he, Sora, Lexi and Lucy thundered onto the scene from the other side of town.

"It's as you can see..." Lyon replied after freezing a monster that came at him from above, tossing the frozen corpse aside without mercy. "A group of monsters got too close to the city and began attacking!"

"Huh?" The dragon slayer frowned, staring at the ice-mage with wide eyes. 

"What monsters?" Sora asked.

"We've always been rivals since way back, our guild and theirs..." Chelia said as she and Wendy joined them. "Orochi's Fin sure has fallen quite far to be using such cheap attacks..."

"They must've seen it as an opportunity now that Jura isn't here..." Wendy deduced while Carla added that because of the Thanksgiving festival, the guild had left their guard down.

"Lyon!" Yuka yelled as he hurried back from evacuating the people. "This is only one small faction! We've got a large group coming from the west side!"

"About a hundred thousand!" Toby claimed much to everyone's surprise.

"The city won't stand an attack like that!" Lyon cursed while Ooba couldn't contain her rage after hearing the news.

"So it seems that a monster tamer has appeared with that damn guild." Lamia Scale's master spoke as she sensed a huge amount of monsters rushing the city. "Taking him out should be our top priority at this moment!"

"But we can't go anywhere near him with that many creatures around..." Yuka stated before Natsu suggested attacking from the sky.

"Will you lend us a hand?"

"Sure!" Sora replied. "It's been a while since I had a good fight."

Natsu grinned when Lyon asked them and threw his fist into the air with glee. "I'm burning up! Let's go, Happy!"

"Aye sir!"

"Sorry, Natsu!" A voice called out, stopping the dragon slayer in his tracks.

"Gah!" Natsu cringed as Chelia latched onto Happy instead, her foot colliding with the dragon slayer's face. Apologizing for her actions she urged Happy forward while stating that she and Wendy will save their guild together.

"Ouch!" Sora winced.

"Wow..." Lucy blinked before looking at the fire dragon slayer still laying on the ground with a footprint on his face. "Are you okay, Natsu?"

"She hijacked Happy..." He mumbled, his body tingling with inner rage. Getting back on his feet, he glared at the retreating forms and took off running after them with his fists in the air. "GIVE HAPPY BACK YOU THIEF!"
