Somewhere...

"Apparently, they've come back."

"What are you talking about?" Two men, one with blonde spiky hair and the other with dark hair talked amongst one another as a warm breeze pushed the clouds above their head.

"The core members of Fairy Tail that disappeared 7 years ago." The blonde-hair one spoke, a smile on his face.

"I'm not interested." His companion spoke without any emotion whatsoever.

"Don't lie to me, Rogue." The first one turned to look at him. "Especially when you looked up to Natsu and Sora that much."

"That was a long time ago." Rouge replied.

"Man, talking about 7 years ago really makes me nostalgic..." The man continued, wiggling his arm for a minute. "I was this small back then. Ah! You were Gajeel's apprentice back then, right? Man...Gajeel was really scary!"

"Don't cling onto the past, Sting." Rouge stated calmly. "Those people were not there on the path we took."

"I FOUND YOU!" They looked up to see this soldier running towards them, his bow drawn. "DIEEE!" He let the arrow sail towards Rouge's turned back. Fast as lightning Sting's arm shot out and caught the arrow. He then proceeded to chew on the tip before he ate the entire thing. Puckering his lips he released a small attack which created a giant hole in the side of a rock wall. The soldier stood there shivering as Sting got up slowly, patting the dust from his pants.

"Ooh? You let your bad side slip out a bit, didn't ya?"

"S...So it was them...they're..." The soldier whimpered as he felt their piercing gaze on him. "The double dragons of Sabertooth...the White Dragon, Sting...and Rouge, the Shadow Dragon. The Twin Dragons!" Scared out of his wits he quickly scrambled for his life.

"Hey, hey." Sting said as he looked behind him at the mountain of corpses laying on the ground. "Are you going to just abandon your comrades? You're really scum."

"They're a Dark guild, after all..." Rouge folded his arms across his chest with disappointment.

"Where did Lector and Frosh get off to?" Sting asked as he looked around for his friends.

"We were just doing a bit of reconnaissance." A voice spoke and two feline creatures strolled up to the humans with smiles on their faces. One of them had red fur with a blue, sleeveless button-up vest while the other one had green fur and sported a pink frog-suit. "Yo~ It's the fire dragon, the solar dragon and iron dragon...and we won't be second best to the sky dragon—"

"Fro thinks so, too." Frosh added with happiness.

"Right?" Sting knelt down with a wide grin.

"There was one report that interested us though. Turns out's that there's actually another dragon slayer apart of their guild."

"Another dragon slayer, huh?" Sting thought with a smirk. "Interesting..."

"But don't worry about that." Lector said as he raised his paw for a high-five, which Sting returned. " After all, you're the most powerful Dragon slayer, Sting! Yup!"

"I think as of now," Sting commented as they walked off back to their own Guild. "I'd definitely be able to beat Natsu and Sora."

"Yeah, of course you would! Yup!" Lector cheered by his side.

"Wanna go have a duel with them? Rogue?" Sting asked him.

"Not interested." was the reply as Frosh agreed with him.

----------------------------

Fairy Tail Guild...

"Sabertooth?" Natsu asked as the group sat around the table. It's been two weeks since the return from Tenrou Island and already the rumors of their return spread like wildfire across the country. One of the local newspaper reporters rushed to get the scoop on the details of their endeavors. As to make up for 7 years of lost time, every single member partied their hearts out every single day.

"Who are they?" Sora asked, interested.

"They're currently the strongest mage guild in Fiore." Romeo explained, "Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale even disregard them...."

"I've never heard of them." Gray spoke nonchalantly.

"They weren't anything special 7 years ago." Alzack said.

"You're saying they grew suddenly over these last seven years?" Lexi looked at him.

"It started when their guild master recruited five very strange, but very capable mages." Max spoke from the table over.

"5 people alone made that much of a difference?" Lucy asked.

"Ohh? I like his style." Natsu grinned.

"Yeah, no kidding." Sora agreed

"So what rank does that leave our guild in now?" Wendy asked just out of curiosity.

"Oh boy." Kiki sighed.

"You really wanna know?" Happy made a frown on his face.

"You haven't heard yet?" Carla stated with a sigh.

"I kinda figure as much..." Lucas muttered.

"Absolute last place. A super tiny weak little guild. The weakest guild in Fiore." were the responses.

"Kaaahaaaa!" Natsu laughed as he placed a foot on the table. "Heh sounds great! How interesting! I'm looking forward to the chance to try and climb our way higher! How many opportunities like that do you get?! I'm getting all fired up now!"

"But we have a problem." Gray spoke from where he sat. "We are too weak in this world now." Lucy and Wendy nodded their heads in agreement since they were there to witness Natsu having trouble getting a victory from Max. The mages who were gone for 7 years were not ready...and they knew it. Lexi's fingers slowly curled around the glass of her drink to the point where cracks were appearing. Suddenly she looked up to see that Mira was giving off some of her demon aura and she uncurled her fingers before she broke the glass. Smiling, Mira proceeded to return to her bartender duties. Apparently Mira didn't like to pay for anymore new glass cups since the guild was...currently broke.

"I hate to admit it, but it's the truth." Sora said as he looked at his hands. "It's been a while since I lasted trained."

"Is there anyway we could get stronger?" Happy asked.

"As well as become the number one guild in Fiore? There must be something we could do." Lily added. Suddenly Romeo's face lit up with excitement as if he remembered something really important.

"We should go and enter that event!"

"No we shouldn't!" Makao snapped and he and his son got into a dispute. The rest of the guild immediately joined in, squabbling and debating whether or not Fairy Tail should go and participate.

"Going? Not going?" Natsu watched his comrades with confusion. "What are they talking about? Sounds like Lucy's constipation issues..."

"What are you doing telling everyone that?!" She shrieked and hit him on the head with her fist, causing Sora to chuckle.

While you guys were gone, an annual festival was created to decide the number one guild in Fiore, Natsu!" Romeo explained. "All the guilds of Fiore get together and compete with their magic power. It's called, the Grand Magic Games!"

"Well I'm game!" Sora grinned with interest. "This is the perfect opportunity for us to show them that Fairy Tail hasn't lost yet. We'll train and get to the top!" Every member from 7 years ago agreed with him as they cheered.

"But...do you really think you can win with your magic power as it is now?" Makarov growled with doubt, rubbing his chin as he tried to list the pros and cons.

"Good point..." Lexi muttered.

"If we win," Romeo grinned, "the guild gets a 30,000,000 jewel prize!"

"We're going!" Makarov announced without a second thought, leaping to his feet and ignored Makao's voice of protest.

"I'm all fired up!" Natsu roared as he spewed flames from his mouth. "When is this event happening?!"

"In 3 months!" Romeo said.

"That's plenty of time!" Natsu smashed his fists together, "We'll get ourselves in shape by then, Fairy Tail will once again be the number one guild in Fiore!"

The Great Magic Games, a festival that features many different kinds of magic competitions is the one great even that decides the number one guild in Fiore. Having resolved to enter, the Tenrou gang realized that they have been unable to match up with the battles of the current time due to the span of seven years. So as a preparation for the games, they held a training camp by the sea.

--------------------------

Seaside...

"Alright!!!" Sora and Lucas yelled as they jumped into the air.

The Tenrou gang all sported their swim wears as they frolicked on the sandy beaches. Lexi was walking around the shore while sipping out of a coconut with Kiki by her side, the Exceed happily sipping through a straw as her tail twitched back and forth.

"You guys!" Always the "mother figure" of the group, Carla was the first to speak, "We didn't come here to play!"

"Aye sir!" Happy spoke beside her.

"Dressed like that..." Droy commented when he looked at them, Charla had snorkeling gear while Happy had his inner tube and a swimming cap on, "Even if you say that..."

"Of course we understand..." Erza smirked. "Having some variety is key! Playing well, eating well, sleeping well..." She gleefully got into the water and started to swim.

"Of all the Tenrou gang this is it?" Lucy asked as she held onto a beach ball. "I feel like we're missing a few people."

"Well Mira's group went to the mountains...Laxus and his crew went somewhere..." Levy said.

"You know I haven't seen Gajeel nor Lily since we came here." Carla said as she floated on her inner tube.

"They said it was some sort of secret training!" Levy puffed her cheeks up in mild anger. "I tried to go along with them, but they turned me down..."

"You tried to go along...?" Lucy covered her mouth as she giggled. "Oh...Levy...?"

"N...No...!" The blue-haired wizard waved her arm up and down with frustration, "It's not like that at all! Come on already! Give me a break, LuLu!" They proceeded to have a water fight while Jet and Droy watched. The team had fun to their hearts content all morning but in the afternoon it was full on business. Lucy was getting help from Capricorn, Gray and Juvia were training with each other, Levy was helping Wendy read the notes that Gandeeney left for her and Erza was sparring with Kiki and Lucas. Natsu, Sora and Lexi all disappeared to the mountains surrounding the beach for training; there were a couple of times where the mages at the beach could feel the ground beneath their feet shift without warning before realizing that it was just their Dragon slayers practicing their moves. Once day turned into night, the gang retreated to the bath houses for relaxation after a hard day's work.

"Look!" Lucy spoke as she tilted her head up, "The stars are beautiful..." The mages looked to see the millions of twinkling stars in the black sky. It even rewarded them with a small comet that flew across the sky.

"I wondering if everyone else is hard at work training right now..." Levy said as they continued to watch the comet disappear.

"They might be watching the stars like us..." Wendy smiled, "and hopefully they get to see that comet too." The comet flew across the country, reaching the separate groups that went off on their own training extravaganzas but they also looked up in the sky for the treat.

-------------------------

The next morning...

Day two of the training camp and the mages were well rested and had their spirits rejuvenated.

"Wow!" Natsu breathed after he finished his training round and flexed his arms, "I'm feeling so good!"

"As long as we take the training seriously," Gray began.

"we can upgrade our magic power so fast in two days." Wendy finished Gray's sentence as she wiped the sweat from her forehead. Thanks to Levy's help she was kind of able to practice the spells.

"Sounds great!" Sora spoke, stretching his legs.

"Then 3 months is quite enough for us to catch up with this world." Erza smiled as she, Kiki and Lucas took a quick break from sparring. Thanks to the training, both Lucas and Kiki were able to hold onto their Neko forms for longer minutes before turning back to their smaller sizes.

"Ha ha ha! The other guilds' jerks, open your eyes!" Natsu crowed, "I'll show you our overwhelming power after 3-month training!"

"I was worried about the time, and doubted if 3 months is too short." Lucy said as she rested on the sand.

"Now seeing us going so effectively like this, I would say 'Oh, we still have 3 months.'" Lexi chuckled as she sat beside her.

"Princess! Emergency!" Suddenly Lucy was lifted off the ground as one of her spirits appeared beneath her.

"Why are you here!" Lucy stated as she tried to balance herself before falling off, her back hitting the hot sand.

"I'm ready for the punishment." was the response.

"Lucy has been in the Fairy Sphere for 7 years... which means that all of the celestial spirits who made contracts with her were staying in the Celestial realm." Gray spoke as they huddled around the maid spirit Virgo who hoisted herself out of the ground.

"Oh poor spirits! Because of Lucy's fault...Lucy's fault..." Juvia added.

"No..that's not a big problem for us." Virgo said.

"What happened?" Levy asked and Virgo looked really upset about something.

"The Celestial realm is in a crisis of extermination. Please...please help us. The King of the Celestial realm is waiting for you. I'm here to pick you up."

"Sure! Let's go help them! We are friends!" Natsu stated eagerly.

"He's right!" Sora nodded as Lucas jumped on his shoulders.

"Wait! We humans cannot go to the Celestial realm, can we?" Lucy asked, knowing what happened the last time Natsu accidentally went in his fight against Virgo.

"You can enter the Celestial realm in the Celestial clothes." Virgo answered as a magical circle appeared underneath their feet. "Ready to go." Suddenly the column of magic light exploded and shot up towards the sky, taking with it the Tenrou group minus Jet and Droy. Yawning its big mouth, the portal dumped them one by one into the Celestial realm. The mages quickly got to their feet and looked around in awe. There were a lot of planets revolving in the sky and each on of them represented each of the celestial beings.

"Is this the Celestial Spirit world...?" Lucy said.

"Thanks for coming," A booming voice spoke over their heads as the King himself presented himself to them. "my old friends."

"So that's the Celestial Spirit King." Sora said.

"I've heard that the Celestial realm is in serious crisis...please tell me how we can help." Lucy spoke. For a second the King looked at them in silence and then he chuckled.

"Lucy, you and your friends!" He bellowed and all of the spirits that belonged under the ownership of Lucy, gold keys and silver keys alike, appeared before him with grins on their faces. "Welcome back from that time skip! Let's party!" To say that the group were shocked was a complete understatement. They couldn't believe what they heard; they just stood there dumbfounded and utterly lost.

"The crisis of extermination?" Lucy looked at Virgo after finding her voice.

"Heh heh." She nodded her head with a grin. "I lied."

"You kidding me!" Lucy raged.

"Ahahahaha! Moooooo! Sorry to trick you." Taurus laughed.

"It's a surprise for you and your friends, baby." Cancer added.

"We wanted to celebrate your return, and this is our plan." Capricorn said.

"We'd like to celebrate with you all, but we're not able to go to the human realm all at once." Lyra explained.

"Then we decided to bring you here with us, sorry." Aries smiled lightly.

"We won't do it again."

"Yes! It's a special case." Aquarius smirked as she held onto Scorpio's arm. Lightening up, the group decided to join in on the fun and soon the banquet hall was filled with laughter and delicious food. The mages were each in their separate conversations with a different spirit but all in all everyone was having a great time. Soon the sound of music filled their ears and they turned to see Lyra playing the harp. As she sang, mages and spirits alike danced, ate to their hearts content and probably took pictures for great memories. Lucy smiled as she watched everyone having a great time and memories from her childhood up to seeing her parents' gravestones flashed in her mind.

"Thank you, everyone..." She spoke as tears ran down her face. "I love you all..." The King smiled and they continued to party.

"Um...We had a really good time." Erza said as the group were preparing to depart.

"I've had the best food in the world!" Gray patted his stomach in appreciation.

"Same here." Lexu said with a smile.

"Did you eat them?!" Natsu howled in anguish after Aries and Cancer told him what he was eating. "You really ate them!"

"Is this for me?" Levy asked with a grin as Ho gave her a book from his library.

"I...I like the clothes..." Wendy added, giving a twirl.

"My old friends, we are always by your side." The King spoke as the spirits gave them a proper send off.

"We'll be your excellent partners." Scorpio said.

"Call us anytime." Capricorn added.

"I'll go to the guild to see you." Loki promised.

"Everyone," Aries spoke as the rest waved or smiled good bye. "please take care of Lucy!"

"Don't worry, we will." Sora said with a toothy grin.

"Great!" The King nodded his head, "All the stars will bless you on your way, my dear friends!" With a wave of his cloak, the spirits disappeared leaving the mages by themselves.

"You are truly loved by all of them." Erza commented as Lucy wiped away her tears.

"They are all my precious friends." was the response.

"You're truly one of a kind, Luce." Sora said, putting his arm around her.

"Okay! We've enjoyed such a good time, let's go back to continue training!" Natsu grinned, eager to get back into the swing of things.

"Sure! We must be strong enough to beat other guilds in 3 months!" Gray replied with less enthusiasm then the fire-head was exhibiting.

"By the way, there's one thing that I forgot to tell you." Virgo stated impassively as the mages got ready to go back. "Time goes at a different pace in Celestial realm."

"Does that mean that 1 year here equals 1 day in the human realm?" Lexi asked.

"Then it is a dream zone for training?!" Natsu and Gray asked excitedly.

"Actually it's the opposite." Virgo said as she warped them back to the beach. "1 day in the Celestial realm equals 3 months in the human world." The group stood there, speechless once more as the wind blew around them.

"WWWWHHHAAATTT!?" Sora yelled.

"Hey you all!" Jet roared as he and Droy walked up to them. "We've been waiting for so long."

"The Grand Magic fight battle will be held in 5 days. You must have been training very hard!"

"It's all over!" Sora, Erza, Natsu, Lexi and Gray groaned as they face-planted the ground with irritation. Wendy started to cry , Levy stood in shock and Lucy was standing there shaking her fist towards the sky.

"Mustache Bastard! Give us back the time!"
