"Moon Flash!" Erza slashed at Minerva in her Black Wing Armor.

Minerva sneered and met the strike head-on, slashing with her new demon powers. She'd been strong before, but now enhanced, she was capable to deflecting even Erza's attacks directly with barely any recoil. Her War God Magic had also gotten a big upgrade- allowing her to shift her position on the battlefield in the blink of an eye.

That wasn't to say Minerva was getting the better of Erza. On the contrary, her recklessness meant Erza was able to make many smaller blows when her big attacks failed. Slowly, she was whittling Minerva's stamina down, looking for an opportunity to deliver a finishing strike.

"Explode!" With a snap of her fingers, Minerva generated an explosion at Erza's feet, forcing Titania to retreat a ways before requipping again. This time, she came out in her Purgatory Armor.

"Thanatos Blitz!" Erza shouted as she swung her mace at the demon.

Minerva vanished immediately, appearing behind Erza after using her magic to change position with a piece of rubble. She grabbed Erza's shoulder from behind and snickered, "You have no chance! With these new powers I stand above mankind like a- GAHH!"

She shrieked as Erza yanked back her arms from the initial swing of her mace and drove the handle into Minerva's stomach, making her double over in sudden pain. Minerva gasped and managed to keep her balance, but Erza spun around and delivered a vicious kick to the demon's jaw. The blow sent her flying into a nearby wall, creating an impact crater.

Erza glared at her menacingly, "You are naive! Don't assume for even a second that adapting the powers of demons automatically grants you victory!"

Minerva glared back balefully, hate swimming in her one visible eye, "Damn you...!"

A flurry of ice spikes erupted along the floor towards Natsu, forcing him to leap from the floor to the wall, then to the ceiling when Silver's ice burst from there as well. His foot touched the roof briefly, then exploded with flame, launching the Dragon Slayer at the enemy Devil Slayer.

"Fire Dragon's Grip Strike!" Natsu shouted, trying to make physical contact with Silver for a point-blank attack.

Silver lunged backwards to avoid the attack, but Natsu's palm slammed into the ground and unleashed a shockwave of flame his way. The force of the explosion knocked Silver off-balance, giving Natsu a chance to get in close with another quick lunge. The Devil Slayer managed to put up his arms as a defense just before the Salamander's burning fist crashed into him.

"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

The blow sent Silver reeling, blasting him through a nearby wall. Seeing that his opponent was temporarily out of the picture, Natsu spun around to find out what was happening to Lisanna and Mira in their battle against Sayla. It didn't look good.

Now with Sayla's Etherias Form unleashed, there was nothing to restrain her rage- no logic, no sense of battle strategy, no trace of anything even mildly reasonable. She was anger, hate, and destruction given physical form.

He watched as Mira attempted to attack Sayla in her normal Satan Soul, but despite giving it everything she had, not a scratch was left on the demon. In retaliation, Sayla let loose a shriek that created a positively devastating shockwave. Mira was blown away along with Lisanna, who by now was just trying to stay on her feet and look for some kind of an opening.

Natsu snarled as the sisters cried out in pain and rushed Sayla, "Hey you freaky bitch, over here!"

Sayla spun around and met his fist with her hand, grabbing it and squeezing so tightly that Natsu felt his knuckles crack. He hissed in pain and bared his fangs at her as Silver walked back into the lab.

The Devil Slayer took in the sight of Sayla with the Salamander in her grip and shook his head in a reprimanding manner, "If you knew what was good for you, you'd have avoiding trying to get in close with Sayla when she's like this."

Natsu ignored Silver and instead focused on the demoness in front of him. The two of them had locked eyes and were glaring at each other as Sayla continued to crush Natsu's fist even as it burned furiously. The Dragon Slayer let out a furious snarl to which Sayla answered with a hiss. It was a stand off to see who would back down first, but more importantly for the Fairy Tail mages, it bought them precious seconds to come up with some kind of a plan.

Lisanna struggled to her feet and glanced at Mira, who was gasping on the ground after receiving yet another direct attack from Sayla. Things were definitely going badly. If the battle continued like this, it was only a matter of time until the two demons weakened Natsu enough to inflict severe injury. Unless the sisters could muster enough strength to bring one of them down, Natsu would be forced to take on both Silver and Sayla at once. That was too much, even for the Salamander, in his already battered state.

"I have to do something..." Mira groaned, pushing herself up to her feet and watched for an opening. "I must wait for my opportunity..." 'Ever since we were little, every single villages we ended up in threw us out because of my demon powers. Traveling the lands we finally made it to Fairy Tail where the master treated us with kindness but I was still unhappy...So I tried to disappear, hoping that Lisanna and Elfman would live a better life without me.'

'What I didn't realize was that they learned magic almost similar to mine and they were so eager to show me their process. Of course, it wasn't fully solid...' Mira let out a small chuckle when she remembered the found memory, Lisanna turned into a pig and Elfman's bear arm turned into a giraffe's arm. 'I still have problems believing how foolish I was back in the day...'

'Like how you protected us with your power...' Elfman's younger voice floated through her head. 'We'll protect you with ours.'

"Energy Blast!" Seilah spoke, letting forming kanji circles around her hand so that a third eye grew on either of her open palms.

"Fire Dragon's Shockwave!" Natsu countered, slamming his right foot down to release the firey tremor which caused the demon to lose her footing, her attack missing its intended target and making her let go of Natsu. The blast of energy roared past the dragon slayer, its destructive force obliterated whatever was left of Hell's Core.

'This is getting annoying...' Seilah thought as she regained her balance. 'I need to finish them now!'

"Fire Dragon's...Wing Attack!" Natsu roared the user produces a large stream of fire from each arms at the demon. Mira, Lisanna and even Lamy tried to stay avoid it as the blazing 'wings' swirled around them.

"Tch..." Seilah braced herself against the burning attack, noticing that her arms and legs were getting burned with fire. "Hot...so hot.." She shivered before knocking out of the flames, leaving a pile of embers laying around her feet. "Don't tell me that's the best you have to offer?"

"Are you...taunting me?" Natsu growled angrily, feeling his blood boil while his arms were engulfed in flames again, itching to rip and tear the demon to shreds.

"C'mon." Seilah wiggled her finger, gesturing for the slayer to attack. "I'm right here." Roaring with anger, Natsu rushed forward, engaging with the demon in a hand-to-hand combat. The flying of fists were so fast that even the spectators had a hard time following every single blow.

"Rarrrh!" Natsu pulled his right hand back and aimed the punch for the demon's head. However Seilah dodged it at the last minute, getting underneath the extended arm and ended up going in close to the slayer's exposed front.

"Natsu watch out!" Lisanna yelled as the demon pressed the palm of her right hand against the dragon slayer's stomach and unleashed her Energy Blast at point-blank range. The blast was enormous and it sent the slayer crashing into the wall with a follow up explosion.

"It seems by making him angry, it clouds up his judgment and he becomes a bit reckless." Seilah mused as she looked at the newly created hole. "Thus...making his attacks predictable to evade or counter."

'There's my chance!' Mira jumped at the opportunity, latching onto the demon's leg by wrapping both arms around the limb. 'I thought I didn't want this power anymore but...' She tightened her grip. 'If it can help me protect my dear family...then I'll use it to become a demon or whatever else!'

"Oh, I didn't even see you there. How many times do I have to say that Take Over has no effect on me?" Seilah asked wearily, glancing down at Mira clinging to her right leg as if her life depended on it.

"Mira!" Lisanna yelled from where she was pinned to the ground by Lamy, the bunny girl taking the opportunity to get the upper hand and launched a sneak attack. "You should get away! Run!"

'At least a part...' Mira prayed silently.

"This is...Let go!" The demon realized what the elder sibling was attempting to do and quickly shook her off by slamming her foot down to produce a massive shock-wave.

"Wah!" Mira yelped, tumbling back from the blow and laid there on the ruined ground.

'Why did I feel tired!?' Seilah questioned with horror, her breath coming out ragged and strained. 'Was I about to be taken over? Despite being an Etherious?' She looked up in anger as Natsu helped Mira sit back up; the dragon slayer had an arm around the white-haired girl's shoulder and was growling at the demon. Taking the Energy Blast head-on did considerable damage, the flames flickered weakly and the exposed stomach area was still smoldering. 'Those two are extremely dangerous! I must erase them from this world right away!'

"Mira!" Lisanna yelled as the demon started to power up an attack, struggling against Lamy's hold.

'I must believe in my power. I must believe that it will protect my family!' Mira thought as she gently touched Natsu's hand that was resting on her shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze for reassurance.

"Demon Eye release!" By charging energy into her hands, two inscription-based wings form around Seilah's arms, and an eye appears on each palm much like when she prepares her Energy Blast attack.

"She's gonna win!" Lamy chuckled gleefully as she held Lisanna down.

"Vanish!" Seilah roared, spreading her wings and flew at them with rage.

"Your Macro..." Mira spoke as Natsu stood in front of her, taking a defensive stance at the approaching demon. "...is able to give orders to people that you've put under your control once...right?"

'Was that the reason why I felt tired?!' Seilah thought with surprise. 'Did she...take over just my power...?'

"That's why I ordered this." Mira grinned, sensing the demon's hesitation.

"It's useless!" Seilah spat as she rammed into Natsu, the dragon slayer dug his heels in as he pushed against the massive amount of energy, eyes narrowing dangerous as she held the demon in place. "Only I can use Macro on me!"

"Elfman...come where your family is." From the ceiling, Elfman in his Beast Soul mode came thundering down and smashed his fist against the demon's head. Natsu somersaulted backwards and watched Seilah get floored...literally, her arms raised to keep out the massive amount of dust and smoke.

"Elfman..." Lisanna whispered with relief as Lamy backed up in fright.

"I'll...protect my sister!" Elfman spoke confidently as he got out of his Beast mode.

"Gray should be keeping the enemy busy over there." Lucy pointed out as she walked behind Sora. The two of them made it to the lower levels of Cube and the blonde was currently tying a piece of fabric around her breast since her shirt was damaged in the fight.

"I think Mira is also somewhere on this floor." The dragon slayer said, his nose twitching as he sniffed the air in hopes of catching her scent.

'Can you hear me?!' A sudden voice crossed through the minds of all the Fairy Tail members, even the ones that were in the middle of their life-or-death battles.

'Warren?' Gray thought when he heard the voice, ceasing his attacks against Ki-su.

"You scared me!" Lucas exclaimed as he continued to fly back towards where Makarov and some of the other mages were.

'I can hear you.' Warren replied through his telepathic link. 'Did something happen? Just so you all know, Mira is safe, she's with us.'

"Sorry for making you all worry." The eldest sibling said as she leaned in close to Elfman, tired and worn out. Lisanna was sitting right next to her two older siblings with a grin on her face. Natsu and Happy, the latter arrived with the others, just grinned at each other.

'Natsu, Elfman and Lisanna are here too.Warren continued to relay the information.

"Ooh!" Sora exclaimed with a smile while Lucy breathed a sigh of relief at the good news.

"Hey, Warren, can you make it so that everyone hears my voice?" Lucy asked.

'Yeah...wait a second...' Warren used his magic to transfer the ownership to Lucy for a minute. 'Okay, you're on.'

"Lexi, Wendy, Kiki and Carla stopped Face!" Lucy proclaimed happily, pressing two fingers to her temples to relay her thoughts. "We crushed the enemy's plan!" Outside the Cube, the rest of the Fairy Tail members cheered with happiness. "Regarding what happened after-wards..."

"Can the Master hear this too?" Lucas asked as he continued navigating his way around the Cube.

'Lucas? Wait a second.' Warren transferred ownership to Lucas so the Exceed could speak.

"We met the soul of Master Hades!" The Exceed said once he was cleared to speak.

"What!?" Makarov exclaimed while some of the members nearby just glanced at one another in confusion.

"He said that even though we could stop Face...it's not over yet..." Happy continued, "Hades said to tell you to 'Release the light'..."

"The light..." At this the guild master turned pale as he realized what Hades wanted him to do. 'Lumen Histoire!?' "What does that mean!?" He yelled.

"Don't scream..." Warren whimpered, his ears ringing at the sound of Makarov's loud voice.

"I don't know either." Lucas replied.

"Warren?" Lisanna asked when the man suddenly sat up erect, his entire body tingling. Suddenly he let out a horrified scream as if someone was taking over him.

KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~

What's this sudden noise?!" Gray stated with annoyance at the high-pitch sound going through his head.

"Warren!" Erza shouted, keeping her eyes on Minerva to make sure the demon Sabertooth woman didn't attack her blind spots.

"Wizards of the Fairy Tail guild. Right?" A cool and unemotional voice floated through their minds, getting their attention immediately. There was no way they were listening to Warren anymore. Whoever was talking to them was someone far more sinister and ruthless.

"Someone interfered with Warren's conversation!" Jet exclaimed with horror.

"Who are you, bastard!?" Natsu snapped.

"The King of Hades, Mard Geer." Mard Geer replied calmly, two fingers against his temple as he continued speaking. "But you don't have to remember that. Since you have no tomorrow." Removing his fingers from his temple, he swiped his hand to the side in an elegant manner. "Alegria."

"What!? The ground is..."

"This is bad! The gravity field vanished!" Every single mage on the outside of the Cube yelled and screamed as the entire structure morphed and transformed.

"Someone save Laxus's team."

"Hold on to something!"

"Argh! I'm sinking!"

"What's going on?!" Gray snarled as red substances latched onto him and the more he struggled the more the gooey red material dragged him down into the messed up floor. Ki-su stayed absolutely quiet as he watched the Ice mage struggle from behind his mask. "M-My body is being...sucked by something..."

"The walls...and the floor..." Lucy mused as she and Sora realized the change immediately. The whole hallway was writhing like a living thing and before they knew what was happening, Sora and Lucy were flung to the ground. Sora immediately grabbed Lucy and held her above his body while simultaneously letting as much of his solar magic as he could loose in an effort to slow the petrification.

Despite the intense Solar Dragon Slayer Magic, Sora's body was being consumed from below. His whole back was already trapped. He bared his fangs in defiance, determined not to let Lucy fall prey to the curse even if he was taken himself.

Lucy had thought for a moment that they were both safe until she glanced down and saw Sora's boots completely enveloped. Her eyes widened, "Sora, it's got you!"

"I know," Sora growled as he released more of his power, "But it's not going to get you. Don't touch the ground until it solidifies!"

"You'll be trapped!" she cried.

"I can't get loose," he let out a frustrated snarl, "Whatever this stuff is, it's heavy duty. You have to get out of here when it's stopped and get reinforcements!"

Lucy shook her head, "I can't just leave you like this!"

"You're right," Sora managed to grin, "You gotta give me a kiss for your good luck since I can't move."

"Wha..." Lucy gaped at him, "This isn't the time for-"

"You can do this," he told her, his face serious again, "I have complete faith in you."

She found that the ground beside Sora had solidified now and moved off of him as the petrification began to fully consume his body. Lucy realized it was speeding up as he stopped using his magic power and quickly knelt over him for a brief kiss, "You better stay alive, or I'll beat you up."

"I will. I promise."

Gh!" Erza growled as she was also trapped by the goo from where she was fighting against Minerva. "What's this thing...?"

"I won't let you go, Erzaaaaaa!" Minerva yelled as she lunged towards the trapped mage, hands outstretched.

"You..." With one last glare and an attempt to stake the woman with her sword, Erza didn't say any more as the red material covered her entire body, sealing her mouth shut.

"Don't get separated!" Elfman yelled as he held both his sisters close with one arm.

"My body...is sinking..." Jet and Droy exclaimed.

"Damn!" Natsu growled as he pulled and struggled against the binding.

"Natsu!" Happy cried out as he did the same.

----------------------

"Someone...help me...!" Lucas shouted. Apparently he flew a bit too fast and careened right into the material without a second thought, his wings flapped weakly as he felt his strength leave him. The gooey projectiles continued to fire arbitrarily throughout the building, adhering onto anything they touch and eventually spreading across the entire fortress. Anyone, wizards of any kind, caught by these substances remained in a suspended state permanently until they are freed by someone else.

"Lord Mard Geer, if you do that even our guild's soldiers will be..." Kyouka spoke with worry.

"...Corroded..." The man smiled as he stood up from his throne. "Sacrifice."

"Damn Tartaros!" Minerva bellowed as she watched her opponent get trapped by the gooey substances. "Return Erza! She's my prey!"

"Death and Resurrection. Despair and Hope. What a foolish race." Mard Geer commented as he walked towards the door with the Book of END in his arms, the heels of his boots clinked softly against the tile floor. "This cube itself is like a huge prison. The inside of the Plutogrim."

The Alegria of becoming a part of it...he's using such boring curses." Silver commented as he looked out of the windows of his room. Apparently, he left Natsu's group after Sayla was beaten. "We probably won't meet again." Suddenly he narrowed his eyes a bit, feeling a disturbance in the force. "Hm? This magic..."

"Apparently one person...was able to escape Alegria." Mard Geer stated with a frown as he and Kyouka both felt the small amount of magic that was still alive.

"Ouch..." Lucy yelped as she tumbled out of a tunnel. After being separated from Sora, she felt the wind carry her somewhere within the Cube and popped up in another uncharted area. "What is this?" She exclaimed as she looked around with horror at the weird walls and other weird features. "What happened?"

"There's a one in 1,000,000,000 chance...that's some good luck..." Mard Geer smirked to himself. "Or bad luck? Considering she's left alone in Hades."
