Gajeel's fight...

"Two different...types?" 'Shadow' spoke as he looked at Gajeel's transformation. The iron dragon slayer stood proudly, cackling even, with the dark shadows surrounding. This must be the first time he was witnessing a duel-type dragon slayer...that or he was surprised that those two elements, shadow and iron, went well together.

"He absorbed the shadows!?"

"He looks like a monster!"

"Well, he was always kinda like one." The Fairy Tail mages all commented as they watched their comrade fight.

"Here I come!" Gajeel smirked as he rushed towards Rogue. The shadow slayer tried to attack him like before but Gajeel became a shadow, appearing from behind and retaliated with an Iron Shadow Dragon's Club. Growling with irritation, Rogue disappeared as a shadow as well and the two of them streaked across the ground and along the walls before racing side by side.

'What!?' Rogue yelped as a shadowy hand reached over and pulled him out from Gajeel's shadow. 'He's pulling me out of the shadow...' The iron slayer gleefully smiled as he took the lead, smashing Rogue's body against the wall and even into stone pillars.'There's no way...this Gajeel...'

"Vanish!"Gajeel yelled as he threw Rogue through the roof. "Iron Shadow Dragon's Roar!" Taking a deep breath he unleashed a powerful, explosively blast that shot towards the sky.

"AAAAHHH!" 'Shadow' screamed as the magic engulfed him. Once it had died down, Rogue came crashing towards the ground defeated and Gajeel had turned back to his normal self, bruised and bloody from his fight.

"The fight is over! Gajeel wins!" Chapati announced as the audience cheered for his victory. "The point goes to Fairy Tail!"

"Hehe...so this is Rogue's current limit." 'Shadow' chuckled.

"Huh?" Gajeel looked to see a dark entity escape from Rogue and vanished before he could move. "That sly bastard."

"Stop!" A voice said and he saw Frosch standing between him and Rogue, his body trembling with tears in his eyes. "Rogue will die. Stop."

"The fight's over, I'm not gonna do anything." Gajeel stated as he sat down to rest.

"Fro..sch..."

"Rogue! Rogue!" The Exceed hurried to his partner's side, putting his paws on his chest.

"Why are you here...?" The slayer asked in a confused manner. "Uh? My body feels...did I ...lose...?"

"You..." Gajeel muttered as he gazed at the slayer. 'He doesn't remember what happened? That dark shadow...what the hell is it...'

Underground...

"Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!" Natsu shouted as he jumped into the air, and then ignited two streams of fire from his hands, subsequently swinging such streams at the army and blowing most of them away.

"Solar Dragon's Blazing Path!" Sora yelled, as he shot forward and attack the guards with blinding speed. "You guys really are persistent."

"Sliver Dragon's Roar!" A powerful blast of sliver flames flew out of Lexi's mouth as she pushed the invading forces back.

"Regulus Impact!" Loki added his own techniques, throwing guard after guard out of the way with his magic.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!" Wendy roared, summoning a strong gust of wind that threw her opponents off of their feet.

"How many of these people are there?!" Lucy grunted as she watched more guards appear after some were knocked back.

"We shouldn't have taken this way." Future Lucy fretted, trying to avoid getting hurt.

"It's ok, we have magic." Carla stated calmly as she watched the battle calmly.

"Carla, it dangerous. Stay back." Happy said trying to act brave, though he was shaking.

"You too." Lily told him.

"Neppaaa!" A voice spoke, getting Lily's attention immediately. "Paaan!"

"Lily, look out!" Lucas cried out.

"You again?! You damn alcoholic!" Kiki snapped as Lily blocked the acid from touching them with his blade. The guards were all cheering at the sight of the Order of the Hungry Wolves.

"Don't underestimate the kingdom's executors." Kamika grinned.

"Indeed, Kamika." Cosmos spoke from her side. "That scary one isn't here."

"Tai Taai!" Uosuke spoke as some of the guards carried him into the battle.

"I understand your philosophy." Sora turned to see Kama walking towards him, his face exposed since he wasn't wearing his mask. "But now you will hear mine. I'm not going to let you sinners escape this castle alive."

"You are one stubborn, stuck-up piece of shit." Natsu muttered as he ignited more flames and looked around. With the Executors present, the guards ramped up their courage and attacked them with gusto.

Somewhere inside the castle...

"Co...Colonel Arcadios...!?" One of the guards in the palace stuttered as the man walked through in his battle armor. As soon as he slipped away from the group, he went directly to his chambers and changed clothing since his was burned away by the lava.

"Why are you...here...?"

"You were charged for rebellion against the kingdom..."

"Where is the Princess?" He asked the three guards, towering over them.

"Ah...well..." The guards looked at one another, unsure if they want to answer.

"Where is she?" Arcadios repeated coldly, glaring at them.

"On the last floor..." One of the guards feebly replied and they watched the man walk off without a pause in his steps.

'There's something I have to make sure of...' Arcadois thought as he continued. 'Those weren't the tears of a liar.' He remembered when Future Lucy was crying after Sora promised that Fairy Tail will change the future.'The one who is lying...is the Princess.'

Back to the battles...

"Juvia!" Gray yelled as he avoided Lyon's attack, somersaulting backwards as the icicles crashed against the ground. The rain woman had jumped into the river underneath the platform they were battling on and awaited his command.

"Yes Gray!" She raised her arms and willed the water to rise.

"Shotgun!" Gray shouted and, utilizing the water that she had provided, used his Ice-Make magic to solidify it. Taking aim at his opponents, he released his attack in the form of sharp, thick spears of ice.

"Sky God's Dance!" Chelia said, rotating her torso and extended her hands. A massive, swirling current of black wind appeared and shielded them from the ice.

"Nice, Chelia!" Lyon praised her. "Attacking us with Juvia's water...how dirty." He growled and attacked Gray again, sending the Ice mage tumbling back.

"Was Lyon this strong before?" Juvia asked.

"That may not be the case but, their teamwork isn't working too well." Gray grunted. "We still have a chance to knock them out."

'What pressure.' Laxus frowned as he, Orga and Jura faced off. Ever since the Ten Saints man showed up, the three of them were busy watching and waiting for someone to make a move.

"Jura, I want to see you go all out." Orga proclaimed, getting the Saint's attention. "Do you have the guts to stop this?" He started to conjure up his black lightning attack, storing it in his arms.

"Hmm..." Jura commented before facing his opponent, ignoring Laxus for a minute. "Fine. I'll play your little game."

"Can you block it?" Orga smirked again. "Let's who's magic is stronger: A Saint or a God Slayer!"

'This guy is preparing a trap...' Laxus watched closely with interest.

"Lightning God's Charged Particle Cannon!" Orga roared, shooting out the black electricity from his hands. However in that split second, his attack missed the target and Jura's fist smashed into his face, knocking him into the ground. Laxus, the announcers and even the audience stared with their mouths opened in shock. "I remembered your fight on the first day." Jura said calmly, looking at his knocked-out foe. "I ended this right away."

"H-He's a monster! He beat that Orga!" The audience cheered as Lamia Scale obtained one point.

"We can't do it." Makarov trembled at the sight of Jura's strength.

"What are you saying, Master?!" Evergreen snapped.

"We believe in Laxus!" Freed stated with confidence.

"Laxus will be able to surpass Jura!" Bixlow added. The said lightning dragon slayer gritted his teeth as Jura turned his attention onto him.

"I've always wanted to fight you once. Makarov's..."

"Alright." Laxus said, cutting him off. "Stop there. Here you're not an old guy with some fancy title and I'm not someone's grandson." He took off his jacket and glared at Jura. "We're just two men."

"Nice eyes." Jura grinned. Shrouding himself with lightning, Laxus rushed forth and the Saint was waiting for him. With one swing of a hand, he had Laxus on the ground in a second just like Orga.

"Once again, only one blow..." Chapati shuttered.

"I don't know what to say..." Yajima added.

"Wow..." Matoh agreed with them.

"In this world there is always someone stronger than you." Jura smirked.

"I know." Laxus grunted as he got up. "But someone I like to look down too." He struck Jura with a strong punch under the jaw in retaliation. "They might be just here at my feet."

"OOH!" The Fairy Tail mages roared their approval at his counter attack.

"Not bad!" Jura smirked as he willed the earth to rise underneath his opponent's feet.

"Lightning Dragon's Heavenward Halberd!" Laxus conjured up the weapon and threw it at Jura.

"Talus!" The Saint exclaimed, the stone shield rose up to take the hit, resulting in a giant explosion. Bursting through the two combatants traded blows with their bare knuckles without yielding to one another.

"Wow..."

"He's keeping up with Jura..."

"This is the guy that defeated Raven Tail all by himself." Even the audience were locked in on the battle with excitement.

"Laxus..." Makarov said as he watched his grandson．

"You didn't expect him to be so strong, right?" Mavis smirked. "Your face is saying just that. They all grow up. The youths that are going to live this era."

"OOOOHHHH!" Laxus yelled as he willed a strong lighting attack to strike his opponent.

"Well...I'm seriously astonished." Jura complemented him, his clothes were slightly burning. "It's the first time in years that I feel this excited."

"You're a monster like everyone says..." Laxus replied before closing his eyes. "What would you say in such a situation? Natsu, Sora...." After a minute he reopened his eyes and grinned. "I'm getting fired up and psyched.."

"Come." Jura smiled. "Let's fight until one of us falls!"

Underground...

"What is...this?!" Wendy yelped as she felt tentacles wrap around her arms, preventing her from moving.

"My plants!" Cosmos grinned as she created some more. "Aren't they cute?"

"Wendy!" Lucy exclaimed as she rushed to the girl's side but since she didn't have the same strength as Mira, she couldn't break the girl out of the binds.

"Pan...Paaan. Shwaah!" Neppa laughed, swinging acid magic everywhere."Melt down. Melt down!"

"Shit! My body!" Lily stated as he turned back into his small form. "I ran out of energy!"

"So did we!" Lucas and Kiki said as they also returned to their small forms.

"Come and get executed!" Kamika smiled.

"We're not going to last any longer!" Loki shouted as he blocked an attack from one of the guards. 

"Damn it!" Lexi yelled.

"Surrender sinners!" Kama ordered.

"Shut the hell up with that crap!" Sora yelled at him, kicking a guard out of the way. 

"I'll execute you and the army all together!" Natsu roared.

"What's that?" Happy said.

"A shadow?" Carla asked when she noticed the dark thing that attached itself to Uosuke's shadow.

"Uwaah!"

"Gyaah" Suddenly screaming could be heard from the back of the guards prompting everyone to stop fighting.

"What's happening?!" Kama turned around in confusion.

"A shadow's swallowing them..." Kamika stared in horror before realizing that she was about to be swallowed up as well, the dark thing already up to her waist. "What is this...?"

"Wait...No..." Cosmos yelped right beside her. The rest of the Executors were no where to be seen, already washed away by the mysterious shadow.

"Grab my hand!"

"Eh?" The two of them looked to see Sora reaching out to them. He cloak his body is solar light, with Lucas' help, flew to them and held out his two hands for them to take.

"C'mon, grab my hand." Sora urged them.

"Sora, what are you doing?" Lucy yelled at him. 

"Are you out of your minds?! They're our enemy!" Natsu shouted.

"This magic isn't going to last long." Lucas warned, beating his wings powerfully. "Hurry up and make your decision!"

"Like the blonde said, why should we grab your hand?" Kamika asked. "That means we'll be indebt to you."

"I don't care about that!" Sora yelled. "Let me help you!"

"You can't show us mercy!" Cosmos added. "What if we turn around and execute you when you aren't looking? Aren't you at least worried that we'll backstab you?"

"Bunch of...stupid idiots!" Roaring, he grabbed their hands and pulled them straight out of the shadow much to their surprise. "Don't just throw your lives away for nothing! You got that?! Everyone has the right to live, friend or foe alike!"

"Spra! Are you okay?" Wendy asked as the four of them returned to their side, Lucas' magic disappeared so he plopped to the ground. Suddenly the shadow reared up and attempted to attack Kamika and Cosmos again but Sora stood in its way.

"Stop attacking them!" He yelled at it, using the Solar Dragon's Talon to push back. "Leave them alone! What did they ever do to you?! You already claimed their comrades, what more do you want?!"

"What's going on here!?" Lucy asked as the shadow retreated to swallow up the rest of the remaining guards who managed to sneak away, their screams of help died as they were dragged into the darkness.

"That shadow...." Future Lucy muttered. "I never felt this before...it didn't happen like this."

"What's going on!?" Natsu yelled.

"I have a really bad felling about this whole entire thing." Lexi murmured, as she looked at the dark shadow. 

"Something big is about to happen." Sora said, tensing up. "Get ready!"
