Ryu's POV

When we finally made it back to the guild hall Natsu about to kick the door down and I did it with him.

Natsu: WE MADE IT BACK ALIVE!!!

Happy: WE'RE HOME!!

Ryu: Welcome to Fairy Tail Lucy!

Guild Member: So I heard you two went all out in Hargeon Natsu and Ryu! Had to go starting trouble-

But before he was able to finish his sentence Natsu kicked him right in the face and sent him flying.

Lucy: Why did you do that?!

Natsu: You lied to us about that salamander! I'm gonna kick your but!!

Guild Member: HEY DON'T GET MAD AT ME!! I'M JUST PASSING AROUND A RUMOR I HEARD!!

At that comment a vain busted in my head.

Ryu: IF IT WAS JUST A RUMOR THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO IN THE FIRST PLACE?!!

Guild Member: YOU WANNA FIGHT?! LETS GO!!

I then sent him flying across the guildhall with one punch.

Happy: Now now you two, I think you need to calm-

Hiro: HAPPY WATCH OUT!!

But he was to late with his warning. Happy was elbowed then went bouncing around.

Then as usual there was a big fight in the guild hall which I managed to slip out of for a quick minute.

Lucy: I can't believe it! I'm actually standing in the Fairy Tail Guild Hall!

???:So Natsu's finally made it back, Huh!!

Narrator: This is Gray Fullbuster, a very talented wizard but he tends to, well, he has a bad habit of taking off his cloths.

Gray: It's time we settle things once and for all!

Ryu: Have some decency dude.

???: Gray your cloths.

Gray: I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT!!

Narrator: This lovely lady is Cana Alberona. She holds the title of, Fairy Tail's heaviest drinker.

Cana: *Sigh* See? I don't date then men here because they have no class.

She then proceeds to drink from a barrel of Beer.

Ryu: ...I won't even say it.

And then I saw Lucy staring in aw at seeing Cana drink so much.

Gray: FIGHT ME NATSU!!

Natsu: NOT UNTIL YOU PUT SOME CLOTHS ON!

???: It's only noon and you two are whining like spoiled babies.

Narrator: This Brute of a man is Elfman. A muscle bound wizard who believes that all you need to solve a problem, are two strong fist.

Elfman: I'M A REAL MAN!! YOU WANT ME TO PROVE IT TO YA?!!

Lucy: I can't believe your encouraging them.

Then Natsu and Grey turned around and knocked Elfman away with a punch.

Lucy: They knocked him away that easily?!

???: Geez it's so noisy around here.

Narrator: This is the lady killer Loki. Ranked high on the most eligible wizard bachelor list.

Loke then got hit in the head with a cup.

Totally not hypnotized girls: Are you okay?

Loke: I'm gonna go fight now. Only to protect you though.

Still not hypnotized girls: Good luck Loke!

Lucy: He's definitely off my list.

Ryu: You have a list?

Lucy: What the heck is wrong with these people? There's not one sane person in the whole place!

Ryu: Ok I might be immensely strong but I'm still sane. That's just cold.

Lucy: Oh, right. Sorry.

???: Hello, are you new here?

She then turned around to see who it was, and boy did she get a surprise.

Fangirl Lucy: IT'S MIRAJANE!!IN THE FLESH!!!

Narrator: This is Mirajane, a beautiful wizard who is known for her bikini clad photo spreads in sorcerer weakly magazine. She is currently an employee at Fairy Tail.

Lucy: Don't you think we should try and stop them or something?

Mira: It's always like this around hear, I just leave them alone. And besides-

Ryu: MIRA GET DOWN!!

Mira: Huh?

Before Elfman crashed into Mira I pushed her out of the way and tossed Elfman to the right.

Ryu: WHO THREW THAT?!!

Mira: Thanks Ryu. I owe you one.

Ryu: Don't worry about it. Now if you'll excuse me.

I then ran and drop kicked Natsu and Grey to different sides of the Guild.

Ryu: Watch it you two!!

Then out of nowhere somehow Grey got back and about to kick me but I dodged and sent him back at Natsu, then Natsu strived Grey of his underwear and sent him flying at at Lucy.

Grey: Give me back my underwear jerk!!

Lucy was freaking out trying not to look at Grey.

Grey: Excuse me miss may I borrow you underwear.

Lucy: AS IF!!

Loke them picks up Lucy bridal style.

Loke: These guys are so insensitive a woman has need-

Then Elfman uppercuts Loke.

Elfman: REAL MEN SPEAK WITH THERE FIST LOKE!!

Then Natsu kicked Elfman in a different direction.

Natsu: I told you ta bud out!!

Happy: Aye!

Hiro: Make it end!

Cana: Ugh It's so loud. So much for having a drink to relax.

Cana then pulled out one of her cards.

Cana: that's enough you guys. I suggest you knock it off.

Gray: Oh yeah? Says who?!

Elfman then activated his beast arm.

Loki: You guys can be such a nuisance.

After he said that Loki began to charge up his Ring Magic.

Natsu: I'm ready for ya!

Then Lucy grabbed Happy and Hiro and used them as meat shields.

Lucy: They always fight like this?!

Happy: Uh Huh!

Hiro: Pretty much.

Lucy: You don't seem worried!

Ryu: That because when things get like this, there are 3 people who break things up. One being-

But before I could finish that sentence a giant foot stomped down stopping the commotion.

???: Would you fools stop bickering like children?!!

Lucy (Clearly terrified): HE'S HUGE!!

Then everything got so silent you could hear a small cough.

Mira: I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were still here master!

Master: Hrng.

Lucy: DID YOU SAY MASTER?!!

Ryu: Yup. This is Master Makarov

Natsu: HAHAHAHA! MAN TALK ABOUT A BUNCH OF BABIES! LOOKS LIKE I WON THIS ROUND! NOW COME OVER HERE AND FIGHT ME RY- AH

Then gramps stomped on Natsu.

Ryu: Ya know if he didn't do it, I would've.

Then he turns to Lucy who is freaking out beyond belief.

Master: Well, seems we've a new recruit.

Lucy: YES SIR!!

When gramps shrunk down I couldn't help but snicker at Lucy's expression.

Gramps: Nice to meet ya.

Lucy: He's tiny! This little guy is really in charge hear?!

Mira: Of course he is! Allow me to introduce the Fairy Tail Guild Master Makarov

Gramps then jumped up and flipped onto the rails, but hitting his head on the way. He then clears his throat

Gramps:You've gone and done it again! Ya bunch of Clauds! Just take a look at how much paperwork the Magic Council sent me this time! This the biggest pile of complaints yet! Have you lost your minds?! All you kids are good for is getting the higher ups mad at me!

We all felt bad, especially me cause I knew that half of those came from places I accidentally destroyed or covered with magma.

Gramps: However...

Gramps then set the stack of papers on fire.

Gramps: I say to heck with the Magic Counsel!

He then tossed the flames away then Natsu jumped up into the air to eat them.

Gramps: Now listen up. Any power that surpasses reason still comes from reason right? Magic isn't some miraculous power. It is a talent that only works when the flow of energy inside us, and the flow of energy in the natural world are I perfect synchronization. To preform magic, one must have a strong mind and the ability to focus. It should take over your being and come pouring out of your soul! If all we worry about is following rules then our magic will never progress! Don't let those blowhards on the Magic Counsel scare you! Follow the path you believe in! CAUSE THAT'S WHAT MAKES THE FAIRY TAIL GUILD NUMBER 1!!!!

The Guildhall then began to cheer and I only smiled and put my hand up in the classic Fairy Tail way only using my thumb and index finger.

Time skip to Lucy getting her Guild Mark while Natsu tries to hit Ryu but missing every hit while Ryu is casually drinking a glass of water.

Mira: There. Now your an official member of the Fairy Tail Guild.

Then I could hear Lucy fingerling while I dodge Natsu's punches and kicks.

Lucy: Hey guys look, Mirajane just put the official Fairy Tail mark on my hand!

Ryu: Congrats Lucy.

Natsu: Yeah Welcome to the guild Luny, YA!!

Lucy: ITS LUCY!

Ryu: Alright I think thats enough Natsu.

Natsu: Why?! You getting tired?!

Ryu: No its because you haven't hit me once so far and you still need to train allot more if you wanna hit me. And plus your still holding back.

Natsu: Alright then! Ill just have to go all out!

Then Natsu started to go even faster with me smirking and actually using my hands to block him.

Ryu: Thats the the way. But-

I then dodge his punch and then grabbed his hand redirecting it to the floor.

Ryu: Your still gonna have get stronger before you can make me get a little serious.

I then jabbed him in the gut making him lie down on the floor putting him out of the fight.

Natsu: You... Win. Again...

Ryu: Well you've been getting stronger these last sessions. You actually made me use my hands this time.

Lucy: Wow! I didn't know you were so strong!

Hiro: Better believe it! Ryu is as strong as they come.

Ryu: I just train hard. Even you can get this strong Lucy.

???: Why hasn't our dad came back yet?

I then turned to see to familiar looking kids talking to master.

Gramps: You two are really starting to work my nerves Romeo and Juliet.

Me: if you thought I was gonna pass up the chance to make a Juliet in this story you were wrong. And by the way she is 11 in this series and Romeo is still the same age. You'll find out why in soon. And no she's not a love interest. For Ryu anyway.

Juliet: He said he would be back in 3 days. And he's been gone for over a weak now.

Gramps: If I remember correctly they took the job on Mount Hakabe.

Romeo: THAT'S RIGHT AND ITS NOT TO FAR AWAY FROM HERE! SO WHY DOESN'T SOMEONE GO LOOK FOR HIM?!

Gramps: Listen kids your old man's a wizard! And like every other wizard he can take care of himself! now go home, have some milk and cookies, and wait!

Romeo: JEEEEEEERK!!

Romeo then punched gramps in the face. And the two of them went out of the Guildhall.

Juliet: I HATE YOU ALL!

Lucy: That gotta be tough.

Mira: I know it sounds like the master doesn't care, but he really is worried-

But before she could finish talking Natsu punched the request board and I smashed a table in half.

Nab: Hey what are you doing. You almost broke the board Natsu.

Gramps then sigh's from what he knew we were about to do. The 4 of us then walked out of the Guild with our bags. And I while is walked out there were singe marks on the floor.

Nab: This doesn't look good master. You know how they can be. They're probably going to look for Macao.

Buck: When will they ever grow up.

Nab: Who knows? All going after Macao isn't going to do anything but hurt their pride.

Gramps: Remember Nab we can't choose anothers path. Just let them be.

Lucy: Why did the two of them get upset.

Mira: Probably because they all have allot in common. I think Ryu and Natsu see themselves in the kids. Just because we're members of Fairy Tail, doesn't mean we don't have our own problems. We've all had our fare share of suffering and loss.

Elsewere

Me and Natsu were on our way when we saw Romeo and Juliet.

Natsu then patted Romeo on the head and I did the same to Juliet.

We then made our way to the mountain.

Time skip to Ryu Natsu and Lucy going to Mount Hakabe with Natsu puking his guts out while Ryu flew outside the wagon.

Natsu (In serious agony): Ugh... Why did you come with us?

Lucy: I thought you could need some help. Wow you really do have a serious case of motion sickness don't you? It's just another reason to feel sorry for you two.

Natsu: What's that supposed to mean?

Lucy: Oh! Nothing! Forget I said anything.

I then sighed and looked at Lucy.

Ryu: Mira told you didn't she?

Lucy:Yeah...

Ryu: Don't worry I'm glad you know.

Flashback to the guild.

Lucy's POV

Mira: Many years ago Natsu's father left and never came back. The same thing happened to Ryu too, but he has more too his story than that.

Lucy: Huh?

Mira: Well technically it wasn't there real father's but the ones who raised them. They were actually dragon's

Lucy: THEY WERE WHAT?! So Natsu and Ryu were both really raised by dragons?!

Mira: When Natsu was a little boy, a dragon found him wandering the forest. He took him in. and taught him all language, culture, and magic. But one day the dragon disappeared and never returned.

Lucy: So the dragons must have been Igneel and Drayden!

Mira: Yes, and they live for the day they see them again. It's kinda cute, don't you think?

End of Flashback

Ryu POV

Ryu: Alright so I guess you know Natsu's story and part of mine then.

Lucy: Wait I only know part of-

Ryu: Oh look, we're here.

Natsu then cheered when they stopped from that moving hell.

Natsu: ALRIGHT!! WE STOPPED MOVING!!

Ryu:  Good thing thats over. Any longer and you might have puked your guts out.

Driver: I'm sorry but this is as far as I can take you.

Ryu: Don't  sweat it, its better this way. Alright Lucy just be prepared when you get out cause it might be a little-

They then exited the wagon with Natsu being fine, Lucy looking like she was gonna freeze, and Hiro and Happy trying not to fly away.

Ryu: ...Cold and windy.

Lucy: Were the heck are we?!! IT LOOKS LIKE A FROZEN WASTELAND!!

Time skip to the 5 of them walking through the snow.

Lucy: Why is it so cold?! I know we're on a mountain, but its summer!! There shouldn't be anywhere this cold!!

Natsu: Thats what you get for wearing light clothing.

Lucy: Oh please! Neither of you can talk! Now hand over those blankets!!

Natsu: Man she just kept on talking huh?

Happy and Hiro: Aye.

Lucy: Oh I know.

She then pulled out a gate key.

Ryu: So thats what kind of wizard you are. 

Lucy: Open, Gate of the clack constellation: Horologium!!

After shows finished a big clock came out of nowhere.

Horologium: Tick Tock.

Natsu: A clock, oh woah!

Happy: That is so cool!

Hiro: So she is a celestial wizard.

She then says something but I couldn't hear it because of that clock.

Natsu: What? I cant hear you.

Horologium Speaking for Lucy: She says I'm staying in here and I'm not coming out.

Natsu: Then why'd you bother to come with us?

So you really cant handle the cold that well huh?

Horologium Speaking for Lucy: What kind of crazy job would force Macao to come to a place like this?! She inquires.

Natsu: You shoulda asked that before you came with us.

Ryu: He went to slay a Vulcan, its basically a big harry ape monster.

And at that I could tell she was scared out of her mind.

Horologium Speaking for Lucy: I want to go back to the guild!! She proclaims.

Natsu: go ahead and be my guest I say back.

Happy: Aye.

Ryu: Lucy you should stay. Don't worry, that Vulcan won't last a minute against me.

After a minute of searching, I smelt something coming our way.

Ryu: EVERYONE!! MOVE!!

Natsu jumped away when I I yelled, then a giant Vulcan came down from the sky trying to smash me into the ground, but I blocked it by holding one of my arms up in the air.

Happy: That's a big Vulcan!!

Hiro: They aren't usually that big!

Then he paused for a second and grinned. then he ran over to Lucy.

Vulcan: Me like human woman!!

Natsu: So it can talk huh?

Horologium Speaking for Lucy: Don't just stand there, hurry up and save me! She yells furiously.

Ryu: Tch! You ain't getting away that easily!

I then sprouted my wings and flew past the Vulcan.

Ryu: Magma Dragon: Scorching fist!!

I then punched the Vulcan so hard it got sent back to were we were before, and got knocked out in the process.

Ryu: Looks like I but a little to much strength into that one. Oh well.

Lucy: It was more than a little!!

Ryu: Hm?

I then looked to see the trail of desolation that was left after the punch.

Ryu: Heh heh, looks like I did it again huh Hiro.

Hiro: I guess thats what happens when its you.

Lucy: Wait, wasn't this monkey supposed to tell you were your friend is?

Ryu: Nah, I already know were he is.

Lucy: Huh? Where?

Ryu: Just look over there.

I pointed to the Vulcan and she looked confused, but after a flash of light, the Vulcan was gone and Macao was there.

Natsu: Macao!

Lucy: So your telling me that big perverted monkey was your friend?!

Happy: Yeah, he must have been taken over.

Lucy: What do you mean taken over?

Happy: He used a takeover spell on him.

Hiro: You see Vulcan's survive by stealing other peoples bodies. There evil body snatchers!

Ryu: Ok lets get to somewhere we can treat his wounds.

I then transformed back into my Humanoid dragon form.

Ryu: Alright, lets go up into that mountain.

Happy then latched on to Natsu and flew him up to my level.

Ryu: Ok Hiro, think you should fly Lucy up.

Hiro: I gotta get Macao up there. So either you fly her up, or Lucy Is just gonna have to walk up.

Lucy: Huh?! Ryu, please! I don't wanna walk all the way up there on this freezing cold mountain!

I then groaned.

Ryu: 'Screw you Hiro.' Alright get on.

I then landed and knelt down so Lucy could get on my back. She then got on.

Ryu: Just hold on tight.

Lucy: Ok.

I then started flying up.

Happy: He loooooves her.

I then shot a glare at happy that could kill a Vulcan 100 times over, then Happy started flying faster.

Ryu: 'Am I the only one who can see that Natsu is the one that likes her?'

Time skip to Macao waking up.

Ryu: Come one Macao, don't die on us here!

Natsu: You have to kids waiting for you to get back home!

I then heard him groan and open his eyes.

Macao: Natsu, Ryu?

Natsu: Your Okay!!

I then gave a slight smile of relief knowing that he was alive.

Macao: I'm so pathetic. I defeated 19 of those brutes. But the 20th, thats the one that got me. I'm so angry with myself, I'm embarrassed to go home and face Romeo and Juliet.

Ryu: Don't beat yourself up about it Macao.

Natsu: Yeah! You beat 19 of those things.

Lucy: No way!!

Lucy Thoughts: There were 20 of the giant monkey things? And he took on the job all by himself?!

Natsu and I extended out our hands for Macao to grab, and he did.

Ryu: Now lets get home.

Time skip to everyone returning to Magnolia.

Natsu: HEY GUYS!!

A sad Romeo and Juliet looked up to see us with their dad back.

Romeo and Juliet: DAAAAD!!

The two kids both tackled him in a hug making him collapse.

Romeo: YOU CAME BACK!!

Juliet: I'M SO SORRY DAD!!

Macao: No, I'm sorry I made you worry.

Romeo: We can handle it, cause we're a wizards kids.

Macao: The next time those kids pick on you two heres what I want you to say: Can your old man take on 19 monsters? Cause mine can.

I then saw alright smile on both of there faces before we were off back to the guild. I then heard there footsteps come to a halt and heard them take deep breaths.

Romeo: NATSU!! HAPPY!! RYU!! HIRO!! 

Juliet: THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

Natsu: No problem kiddo's.

Ryu: I'll always help when I can.

Happy&Hiro: Aye!

Juliet: LUCY!! THANKS FOR HELPING THEM BRING OUR DAD BACK!!

She then just blushed and waved a picture of a goodbye and saying your welcome.

As we were walking back to the guild, I felt like I needed to ask. Lucy the question.

Ryu: Hey Lucy.

Lucy: What is it?

While we were taking care of Macao, did you doubt yourself when you heard he took care of 19 monsters.

She then gasped in surprise.

Lucy: HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT?!!

Ryu: Cause I can usually feel a guild members doubt. So yeah good luck hiding anything from me.

She then sweat dropped.

Ryu: And by the way, if you have your own style, like mine or Natsu's dragons layer magic with is for close combat, or your magic which lets spirits fight for you, its always good to master that way of fighting first. So until you feel like you've gotten as good as you can get with that magic on its own, then you could try doing something else, like adding some sort of whip or something. So just keep that in mind.

She smiled after I was finished with that little peace of advice.

Lucy: Will do.

Ryu: Welp after I spend some time in the guild hall, I think me and oak are gonna head back to our place.

Lucy: Were do you live anyway?

Hiro: Oh just a house in the forest, kinda nice.

We then entered the guildhall being welcomed by the warm faces of everyone.
