Mira was currently cleaning around the Fairy Tail guild hall. She was currently washing some dishes as her mind started to wander off.

Mira: 'I wonder when Ryu's gonna come back. It's been over a month now. I really hope he's safe.'

Lucy: You're thinking about Ryu right?

Lucy spoke behind Mira startling her and almost making her drop a plate.

Mira: LUCY!

Lucy: Oh, sorry Mira! I just saw you starting off into space and figured I should say something.

Mira: Is it that obvious?

Lucy: I mean, you two are together and it has been a while since he came back, so it's perfectly reasonable to be worried.

Raito: Mira, you don't have anything to be embarrassed about.

Aqua: Yeah, we're pretty worried too.

???: And mostly cause he was going to one of the most Barron places in the world.

The voice who spoke to them was Keith, who after leaving Grimoire Heart decided that the place he truly wanted to be was Fairy Tail.

Lucy: Wait, how dangerous IS the Yunzabit Wastelands?

Mira: Well it's impossible to live there because the harsh weather fluctuations.

Lucy: Like what exactly?

Out of nowhere Natsu and Happy came in full trolling mode.

Natsu: Like thunder storms the rain down lightning so strong you'll die without knowing what happened!!

Happy: Or heat waves that are known to fry little scrawny women with no resistance!!

Lucy: AHHHHHH!!!!

Hiro: Okay guys I think that's enough scaring Lucy.

Keith; But in all seriousness, Yunzabit is one of the most hellish places to be. It's were Hades trained me for a little while. Even he and I could last a few days at a time.

Gray: I mean Ryu's gone you against Acnologia and come out of it alive, he could survive that long right?

???: Why don't you ask me yourself?

All of their heads turned to the entrance of the guildhall where a familiar male stood with a bag slung over his shoulder.

All: RYU!!!

Ryu stood there shirtless wearing jeans that were torn in places. Since the last time they saw him he had grown even more in muscle definition, if at all possible.

Ryu: Sup guys!

Mira ran time him and hugged him tight.

Ryu: I missed you too Mira.

Hiro flew to Ryu as he hugged his arm.

Ryu: Hey Hiro.

Hiro: Welcome back Ryu!

Raito: You don't have any idea what you missed while you were gone.

Shojo: Well we're all ears.

Ryu: Yeah I have a feeling it's not that good.

TIME SKIP!!

Everyone came and caught Ryu up to speed about the events that transpired while he was away.

Ryu: Hold up, what you're saying is the Oracion Seis came back even stronger than 7 Years ago, and I missed the chance to slug Cobra, or Eric now in the face?

Raito: Yeah pretty much.

Ryu: OH COME ON!!

Keith: Didn't think you'd be the type to hold a grudge.

Ryu: He double teamed me and poisoned me, Of course I'm still a bit pissed off.

Lucy: Anyway off the topic of us, what took you so long to get back?

Ryu: Well once dad tested my strength he was almost impressed but that wasn't good enough for him. So for the past month he trained me like a dog.

Natsu: You mean the entire time you were training?

Ryu: Yeah. Lemme tell you that man is just unreal. His strength was on a completely different level than I've ever seen.

Mira: He's that powerful?

Logius: More than you can think child.

Ryu: The craziest part is, he was holding back the entire time. He's easily stronger than Acnologia.

Erza: Your father is that strong?

Gray: If that's the case then the next time Acnologia comes around we can ask him for help.

Ryu: Yeah that's out of the question.

Wendy: What?!

Carla: Why would that be?!

Ryu: Simple, he said no.

Aqua: HE WHAT?!!

Raito: The hell why?!!

Ryu: In his words "You can't rely on your old man to fix your problems. Acnologia fell onto your hands the minute he invaded Tenrou".

Makarov: Is that so?

Ryu turned to see Makarov and smiled.

Ryu: Hey Gramps!

Makarov: Good to see you're back in one piece Ryu. And as for your fathers reasoning I can only say he's quite the strange individual.

Natsu: Sounds like he'd fit in pretty well in Fairy Tail!

Shojo: Destructive, kind, not afraid to fight for his loved ones, yeah he fits the bill.

Victor: Well don't leave us waiting, what kind of training did you do?

Ryu looked up into the air thinking back to Bahamut's training.

FLASHBACK!!

Bahamut: DOOOOOOOODGE!!!!

Ryu was currently dodging fireballs sweating like he had a bottle of water poured on him.

Ryu: CAN WE DO SOMETHING ELSE?! I'VE BEEN DODGING YOU'RE ATTACKS FOR HOURS!!!

Bahamut: If you think this is bad wait until I shift into Maximum Overdrive! HYAAA!!

Bahamut increased the speed of his attacks getting closer to hitting Ryu.

Ryu: WHHHHHHHYYYY?!!!

TIME SKIP!!

Ryu was balancing on a stone spike sharp to the tip just on the top of his finger.

Ryu: Grrrr.....

Bahamut: Don't loose concentration. If you do in a battle, the enemy will take the opportunity to strike.

Ryu: The hell does that have to do with me being under a thousand sharp spikes?!

FLASHBACK OVER!!

Ryu: ..... It was VERY intense, I'm leaving it at that. But anyway off from me, what about Fairy Tail in general?

Natsu: Glad you asked! We're gonna be competing in the Grand Magic Games!!

Ryu: Hold up, THE Grand Magic Games? As in the tournament to decide the Number One Guild in Fiore?

Aqua: Yeah, you've heard about it?

Ryu gave a serious look to everyone as they all waited to hear what he would say.

Ryu: Guys, there's something else I learned from my dad while I trained with him.

Natsu: What is it?

Ryu: There's another Dragon Slayer we need to worry about.

Gray: Another one?! That one isn't in some dark guild is he?

Ryu: No not in a Dark Guild, he's in a real one. But that one person is more powerful than any of you could imagine.

Raito: Well then, who is it?

Ryu had a bead of sweat slide down his face before answering.

Ryu: I don't know the guys name or even the guild he from, but Bahamut told me what I should. The Dragon Slayer is the birth son of Acnologia. He's the Black Dragon Slayer.

Everyone was shocked to hear the news Ryu had delivered.

Natsu: The som of Acnologia?!! You've gotta be kidding me!

Ryu: I know, it's still hard to believe it myself.

Mira: Acnologia has a son? But what does that have to do with the games?

Ryu: Apparently he's going to be entering. That's the main reason why I was training. To stop him from doing anything crazy.

Gray: If he's anything like Acnologia himself than this is bad news.

Raito: But something doesn't add up.

Aqua: I know.

Lucy: What do you mean?

Ryu: Why would the son of the most Evil Dragon be in a Guild? It just doesn't make sense.

Natsu: You're right.

Ryu: Well anyway that doesn't really change much. More importantly, who has the number one spot right now? Quattro Cerberus, Lamia Cale? Or-

Ryu breathed in and resisted the urge to vomit at the thought of such a guild taking their top spot.

Ryu: B-Blue Pegasus?

Aqua: No, no, and you're insane.

Ryu: Ok I'm good now. But seriously, who?

Juliet: It was this guild called Sabertooth. They were just some unknown guild before but then they somehow came out on top. Their Wizards were fierce.

Ryu: Well at the end of the day, we'll still beat em. But anyway, what's the power scaling right now? I know Laxus Raito Aqua Keith and I are still powerhouses, but what about you guys? We've all been asleep for 7 years.

Lucy: Yeah, I mean Natsu almost ended getting shown up by Max of all people.

Ryu looked at Lucy with a normal look before turning away.

Ryu: Yeah considering that-

The realization of what she said then REALLY hit Ryu as he turned back to Lucy with the right reaction.

Ryu: MAX ALMOST BEAT NATSU?!!!

Raito: Ok I was worried there for a second.

Keith: That's the Ryu we know. Anyway we planned to start training at a beach tomorrow.

Hiro: Yeah we have a bit of work cut out for us.

Ryu: A BIT? First off, what did Natsu have to do to beat Max?

Aqua: Remember Lightning Flame Dragon Mode?

Ryu: You're messing with me right?

Mira: I wish we were.

Ryu looked at Natsu dumbfounded.

Ryu: Natsu...

Natsu: OH COME ON JUST SAY IT!!

Ryu: A form that you used against the Guild Master of the Powerful Dark Guild, you used against Max?

Natsu: Ok when you put it that way...

Ryu: We have 3 months before the games right?

Raito: Yeah, I wish we had more time, but I guess it should be enough to get some hardcore training in.

Ryu: Oof... I might have gotten stronger, but most of you haven't been training the last month have you?

Some of the others were about to answer him before realizing that they hadn't been training the entire time they were back.

Ryu: Oh God...

Keith: Well I have, it's all I do to not keep myself from being bored out of my mind. And I'm not slacking so anyone can get the drop on me.

Ryu: That's a little better.

Raito: Well, considering we got the book to learn Royal Dragon Slayer Magic, you ask us.

He held out his hand to reveal pure white ice. Aqua helped her hand to reveal water with a tint of pink.

Ryu: Yep that's Royal. Well now I know some people are ready. And as for the rest of you, you have 3 months to get stronger than you ever thought.

Raito: Hold on Ryu, before we do anything else, I want to fight you.

Everyone was surprised hearing Raito challenge Ryu.

Raito: Let's see what a Dragon God's training has done for you.

Ryu smirked and pointed behind him.

Ryu: Let's take to our back.

Everyone made their way to the back of the guild ready to witness the fight.

Keith: 'Alright Ryu, I want see how powerful you have become. This will show me how much harder I'll need to push myself if I need to beat you.'

Makarov: Let the fight begin!

They both stood waiting for the other to attack. This went on for a full minute with everyone waiting in anticipation.

Ryu: Come on. First move is all yours.

Raito smirked from his cockiness.

Raito: If you insist.

He crouched down before lunging towards Ryu at incredible speeds. He brought his fist behind his back and threw a punch at Ryu. Faster then the others thought possible, Ryu brought his hand up and blocked the punch shocking everyone.

Gray: No way...

Natsu: He just caught Raito's punch like it was nothing!

Wendy: Is this real?

Ryu: You're gonna have to try harder than that.

Raito: Fine by me.

Raito not even backing away readied his other fist for an attack.

Raito: Royal Ice Dragon: FREEZING FIST!!

Raito threw his fist which was shrouded in mist towards Ryu face. With ease apparent to everyone there Ryu dodged the blow. He then brought HIS fist back readying his own attack. Raito tried to break loose but found that Ryu's grip was stronger than an anaconda.

Raito: 'Damn, what the hell is this?!!'

Ryu's fist was covered in blue magma as it spiraled around.

Ryu: Better brace yourself!

He landed a solid punch on Raito's stomach making him cough saliva. He released his grip in time of Raito to go flying back from the force of the punch. This shook everyone watching as Raito landed right in front of them looking how Natsu usually does after a fight with Ryu.

Ryu: AH!

Gray: HOLY CRAP HE'S OUT COLD!!

Lucy: HE'S BREATHING RIGHT?!!

Natsu: THAT WAS FROM ONE PUNCH?!!

The people who were most surprised were Aqua and Keith.

Keith: Guys-

Aqua: Yeah, I saw it too.

Erza: It may not have been a normal punch, but still the amount of force that was concentrated on that one point was incredible. I'm surprised he didn't break a rib.

Shojo: Good Grief Ryu. Do you not know the words "Hold Back?"

Ryu: I thought I did!

Logius: That settles it, you are DEFINITELY to much like your father.

Ryu hurriedly ran over to Raito who was still on the ground confused on what happened.

Raito: What the heck just happened?

Ryu: Long story short, I tried a new move on you, and I ended up putting to much force into it.

Raito: Ok then mind telling me what the hell you were doing to get that strong?!

Ryu: Well, that's a story for later. Wanna go another round?

Raito thought for a minute before getting back up.

Raito: I better not pull my punches with this one. Everyone, stand back.

Aqua immediately knowing what Raito was about to try jumped. Most of the Exceed's also figured out what he was planning as Victor hopped over too him.

Victor: Umm, Raito, let's relax! There's no need to-

Aqua: EVERYONE BACK AWAY NOW!!

Raito began to power up blowing everyone away. His pure white aura began to grow as he put his hands together.

Raito: Dragon's of Ice of the Light and Dark, grant me the power to slay all foes in front of me.

Shojo: Uh Oh.

Logius: We should stop this fight now.

Ryu knew what this chant meant as he rushed forward and stopped Raito by separating his hands.

Ryu: Ok I think that's enough Raito. If that fight escalated any further, one of us probably would've ended up in bad shape.

Raito: Come to think of it... Yeah that was probably overboard. We'll just call this a draw.

Aqua let out a sigh of relief.

Aqua: At least the guild is safe.

Lucy: What was he about to do?!

Keith: Something that he managed to beat me with.

Ryu: But I gotta day Raito, I didn't think you'd learn that on your own.

Raito: To be honest, neither did I. That was gonna be the second test run. Keith was the first and let's just say, it was bad for both of us.

Ryu: Well, that settles it, some of us are DEFINITELY ready for the games. Everyone else, start training first thing tomorrow morning.

All: Right!!

Mira: And what do you plan to do Ryu?

He looked at Mira and smirked.

Ryu: Question's what YOU'RE gonna do Mira.

He winked making her blush.

Mira: Smooth~.

ELSEWHERE!!

A girl with Red hair was standing next to a tall male with black and white hair.

???: So, did you hear the news?

???2: Depends, what kind of news.

???: Don't play dumb. I'm talking about how Fairy Tail is entering the Games this Year, and how Ryu and Raito are back.

???2: Then yeah, I have.

???: It explains why you have a smile on your face. You always were a big fan of Ryu.

???2: Yeah maybe, but he's like a bug beneath my boot now. There's no one who can defeat me.

His blue eyes went yellow with his pupils becoming slits. Suddenly an archer with black arrows came out of nowhere.

Archer: There you are! DIE!!

He shot an arrow at the back of the individual's head. Right before it could land, he caught it without even looking back shocking the archer. Shocking him even more he began to eat the arrow.

Archer: He's Eating the poison tipped arrow! Don't tell me he's-!!

After finishing the arrow he burped before putting his hand behind him shooting a black beam towards the archer. The male turned around to see that the Archer was still standing but beside him was an explosion.

???2: Ah Damn. I guess I half assed that one to much. His arm is still there.

Archer: It really is them! Blood Dragon Karma! And Black Dragon Azure! The Strongest Members of Sabertooth!!

He ran off in terror knowing he would die.

Karma: Well I guess you didn't wanna join your  allies down here did ya?

Karma gestured to the dead bodies of the Dark Guild they had taken down.

Azure: Smart, but cowards really can't live when I'm around.

Karma: Let me.

She helped up her hand creating a red sphere sadistically smiling.

Karma: Buh Bye.

Alright you all see why Ryu trained so long. Until the Next One!
