Ryu POV!

Ok readers so this is probably the last time you're seeing from my view cause screw all of that. Let me bring you up to speed on things since the author is to Lazy.

NeoFang: JUST GET ON WITH IT BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND!!

Ryu: Ok so we had to go through a little thing with some crazy lady who created an artificial Dragon wanting to destroy the continent first! I was pretty pushed off when I came back from my job and saw that the place was being destroyed before I blasted that thing to smithereens. The Guildarts came who's actually stronger than me himself and I'm pretty ashamed to admit he got the drop on me and smashed me into the ground. Then last but not least, we went to this world called Edolas which it turns out that at least some point there was a version of us. Unsettling to me I was a a crazy Fairy Tail hunter who when I actually got serious against, really wasn't a challenge. Then it turns out that OUR Lisanna was alive and was sent to Edolas when she nearly died from Elfman. And also Gajeel got himself his own Exceed named Panther Lilly. And if you are wondering what that is, it's basically a thought to be divine race in Edolas since they're the only beings who could use magic. And after we defeated a fake metal dragon there too, curtesy of my Royal Magma Dragon Roar, we returned to Earthland. Everyone but Mystogan, who was actually the Edolas Version of Jellal. The Exceed's also came with us going free into the world.

I took a massive breath from using so much of my own before looking up.

Ryu: That good?

NeoFang: Very.

Ryu: Phew. Long ass filler arks avoided.

3rd Person POV!!

After Ryu's explanation, we went to bed ready for the S-Class Trials. And with a full night of rest, and the sound of a chicken yelling, he woke up bright in the morning. He yawned before getting off of his bed and stretching.

Ryu: Today is gonna be a REALLY good day.

Shojo: And why's that? Because you get to beat the living hell out of everyone like Jotaro with Star Platinum?

And through her time with Ryu, Shojo became self aware.

Shojo: Yup.

Ryu: It's not just cause I get to violently attack any Wizard that wants to become S-Class, though that's REALLY a nice Bonus, but it means that another person could be added to the Elite Ranks. The Cream of the Crop. The Greats of Fairy Tail!

Shojo: Wow Ryu. I had no idea you were that poetic about this kind of stuff.

Ryu: I can be sometimes.

He immediately started punching the air around him before putting on his clothes and looking up at the sleeping Hiro.

Ryu: Hiro, wake up buddy.

Hiro: Mmm... Five more minutes.

Ryu: Come on, the S-Class Trials are today man.

Hiro's eyes immediately shot open as he dropped into the ground with a much louder than usual.

Hiro: Oh right, you guys never saw me like this!

Ryu: Oh right. Hiro actually got a little power up in Edolas to let him do this.

Hiro: This right here, this is my human form! It even makes me stronger!

Ryu you're still the same old Hiro though. Minus the extra height.

He placed his hand on the now 5 foot tall Hiro.

Hiro: Anyway lets go!

Both Hiro and Ryu gained devilish grins just thinking about the Trials and the trolls.

Hiro: GOD I love today!

Time Skip brought to you by Ryu and Hiro laughing maniacally.

Ryu and Hiro were flying through the air enjoying the breeze and smell of the sea air. Through the entire time, the two smiled like children. The other S-Class Wizards were on a boat.

Erza: You must be really excited for this years trial Ryu.

Guildarts: Yeah no kidding. He's been smiling since we got on.

Ryu: I just haven't been this excited for a long time. Not only do I get to kick the asses of anyone who's unlucky enough to cross my path, but I get to hunt everyone down!

That right! Thanks to his Godly Sense of smell, and his ability to track down practically anything, Ryu was acting as a man hunter for the second faze!

Mira: It's nice that you get to have a little bit of extra fun but don't you think going man hunter on everyone else is a bit extra?

Ryu: NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST!!

Hiro: Mira, it's Ryu, what did you expect to hear?

Mira: I dunno!

Erza: So do any of you remember your first S-Class trials?

Hiro: I do!

Ryu: Like it was Yesterday! You Mira and I had to duke it out.

Guildarts: Oh yeah! I remember that!!

Erza and Mira looked as if they remembered as well with slightly annoyed expressions.

Mira: You won just because of your flight and you know it!

Erza: I agree. And you used ridiculous tricks!

Ryu: If by ridiculous tricks you mean clever strategies then yeah!

Flashback!

A young Ryu was skillfully dodging the attacks of young Erza and Mira that we're being thrown at him.

Mira: Stop dodging already you little pest!!

Ryu: *Cocky* I'm half a foot taller than you but ok!

Erza: Fight back like a warrior!

Ryu: Well ok.

Ryu caught the fist of Mirajane and sword of Erza stopping them dead in their tracks. He then comically bumped their heads together before swinging his arms and throwing the two girls in the same spot. They both got up and yelled at each other.

Mira: Watch it thunder thighs!!

Erza: You watch where you're going wicked witch!!

Hiro: You really ticked them off Ryu!

Ryu: Just as I planned.

Makarov: You have a good sense of humor Ryu.

Ryu: So Erza, Mira, it that it isn't fun messing with you two, but weren't you both teaming up on me?

Mira: I don't need you to tell me that!!

Erza: Lets get him right now!

The girls proceeded to attack Ryu again with the later gaining another idea for jokes. He flew up high into the air and taunted the wizards.

Ryu: Hey I'm up here! Come up if you're not afraid to loose to just a single person.

This immediately pissed of the girls who in turn flew up to Ryu as he dodged the fist. And just as planned, the girls hit each other. They shot murderous death glares at each other before Ryu landed on the ground.

Ryu: 3. 2. 1~.

Erza&Mira: THATS IT YOU'RE DEAD!!!!

They both started attacking each other much to Ryu's amusement.

Ryu: Hook line and sinker.

Hiro: They fell for it!!

Makarov: Turning their ally's into their foes. Nicely done Ryu.

Ryu: Thanks Gramps. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a contest to win.

Ryu started flying around gaining speed.

Ryu: Magma Dragon: COMET!!

Ryu flew around the two even faster as a tornado appeared. Erza and Mira were caught in the middle of this storm as they lost breath.

Mira: D-Damn it Ryu!!!

Erza: I c-can't... breathe!!!

He kept going around until they were on their knees. It was at that point he stopped flying around.

Ryu: Even when I use full speed, it's pretty hard to do that.

He wiped the sweat off of his head and smirked.

Erza: I give...

Mira: That was dumb luck...

Makarov: You earned the right of S-Class my boy.

Ryu: ALRIGHT!! I DID IT!!!!

Flashback Over!!

Guildarts: That was a day to remember! I laughed so hard I could barely breathe!

Hiro: Kinda like Erza and Mira!

Erza&Mira: ZIP IT HIRO!!

Hiro: Ok.

Hiro slightly zipped up his jacket annoying the wizards.

Hiro: You said zip it.

Ryu: Nice!

They high five'd before everyone saw an Island up ahead.

Hiro: We're here!

Guildarts: Tenrou Island.

Mira: It's still so beautiful.

Erza: We won't be standing there for long.

Ryu: Anyone else feel the Magic power there?

Erza: Yes it is quite strange.

Ryu: Oh well Hakuna Matata.

Time Skip!!

Natsu POV

Natsu: COME ON HAPPY!! This rout!!

I chose rout E thinking that Erza would be there.

Happy: I still think this is a bad idea Natsu!

Natsu: Oh come on Happy have a little faith!

I stood on top of a rock before pointing in the air.

Natsu: I'M GONNA CLAIM THE TITLE OF S-CLASS WIZARD!!! AND I'LL HAVE A BALL KICKING ERZA'S TEETH IN WHILE I DO IT!!!

We kept running until we were at a open space.

Happy: Check it out! The path ahead opens out!

We walked in not being able to see anything. That was until a familiar voice called spoke out.

???: Sorry Natsu, but you ain't going any further than this.

Then without warning, blue magma shot from the sides of the cave breaking the ceiling.

Natsu: MAGMA?!

Happy: OH PLEASE NO!!!

When I looked down, I saw the person there. It was Ryu who had a smirk on his face.

Ryu: Gotta warm you, I've never really been the best at holding back in one of these.

Natsu: NO FREAKING WAY!!!!!

Happy: WE'RE DOOMED!!!!

I started trembling in excitement before I lit on fire.

Ryu: Thats what I like to see.

Natsu: Oh yeah!! Oh yeah now I'm all Fired Up!!!!

3rd Person POV!!

Ryu: Good to see that you're eager for a beating.

Hiro: Remember Ryu, don't go over- You know what I'm being a hypocrite. Go nuts!!

Ryu: Alright Natsu, just let me get a stretch in. Don't wanna knock you out to fast.

Ryu started stretching as Natsu didn't want to wait.

Natsu: Screw waiting! I'm ready to fight ya right now!! Fire Dragon: IRON FIST!!!

Natsu charged at Ryu with his fist on fire. In sight of this, Ryu put his hand up catching the attack.

Ryu: Alright that was good enough. Let's start.

Ryu brought his arm back cocking back for a punch slightly scaring Natsu.

Ryu: Royal Magma Dragon: Scorching Fist!!

He nailed the punch of magma straight into Natsu's stomach sending him into the sky.

Ryu: That Hiro, that is what you call a little overboard.

Happy: NATSU!!!

Hiro: Don't worry Happy, he's gonna come down in a second.

Ryu: Any second now.

And just on time, Ryu heard the sound of Natsu's voice.

Natsu: *Distant* FIRE DRAGON-

Ryu: You guys better hide behind something.

Natsu: ROAR!!!!!

Natsu let out a breath attack that cloud be seen everywhere on the Island. Ryu didn't nothing moving as he stood there and took the attack. Natsu landed seeing a whole lot of fire and some ash panicking.

Natsu: GAAAAH!!! I DIDN'T MEAN TO TURN HIM INTO ASHES!!!!! I'M SORRY!! I'M SORRY!!! I'M SO SORRY!!! AHHHHH!!!!!

Hiro: Relax Natsu. In case you forgot-

Ryu swiped his hand blowing away all the flames.

Ryu: The last time we fought, your Fire wasn't very affective.

Happy: WOAH HE'S STILL FINE!!

Ryu: Natsu I've stood in the middle of a volcano before, fire ain't a problem.

Natsu: Well that's fine by me! Cause that means I can go all out!! Hope you're ready cause here I come!!!!

Natsu went towards Ryu ready to start punching as Ryu smirked.

Ryu: Feel like it's been a while since we did this.

Flashback!

Ryu: You're not gonna beat me Natsu.

Natsu: Yeah well I'm not planning on loosing!! Fire Dragon: Iron Fist!!

A kid Natsu charged at a young Ryu who instantly grabbed the him by the back of the shirt and flipped him over his shoulder into the air.

Natsu: AHHH!!!

The spectators Gray, Hiro, Happy, Erza, and Mirajane all laughed seeing this.

Gray: HA!!! Looks like you couldn't handle the heat!!

Mira: Thats was so funny it hurts to laugh!!!

Erza: I'm sorry but it was quite comical!

Ryu: Well now that that's done. Let's go Hiro.

Hiro: Alright!

As Ryu walked away with his bag in hand Natsu quickly got up and ran at Ryu who's back was turned.

Natsu: I'M NOT DONE YET!

Natsu going for another attack but Ryu without even turning around back fisted him right in the face. He slowly fell back until hitting the floor

Ryu: Now you are.

At this point, Gray and Mira were on the floor laughing uncontrollably.

Gray: AHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Mira: Total knockout!!!

Erza: Well the result wasn't unexpected!

Natsu got back up again charging at Ryu. Ryu seeing this slightly smirked as he threw I'm his bag up in the air.

Ryu: Hold that for me buddy.

Hiro: Sure thing!!

Ryu caught another punch from Natsu before kneeing him in the stomach. Natsu continued to push past the pain and went on with his assault.

Ryu: Even after taking 3 of my shots you're still ready for more. I like that.

Ryu this time put much more effort into a punch landing on Natsu which made him go back but keep standing.

Natsu: C-come on! I'm still s-standing!

He was shaking all over as Ryu looked at him.

Ryu: Alright Natsu, you impressed me. You can challenge me whenever you want. And every time I'll accept your challenge!

Natsu smiled hearing this before fainting.

Ryu: But I don't intend on holding back.

Flashback Over!

Ryu: And I don't intend on loosing!!

Ryu instead of waiting for Natsu to get over to him met him half way. They both threw punches as their fist collided. It sent a mini shockwave through the cave as they both continued to slug it out. And it was a one sided massacre in Ryu's favor. Every punch Natsu through he dodged and countered with his own. This continued with neither one letting up in their assaults. That was until Ryu elbowed Natsu in the stomach sending him back.

Natsu: THERE!!

As Ryu pulled his elbow back Natsu took advantage of the slight opening.

Natsu: Dragon Slayer Sacred Art! Flame Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade!!!

Natsu jumped forward with fire surrounding his hands as Ryu smiled.

Ryu: 'You've grown.'

Natsu swung his hands as a vortex of flames went directly at Ryu who put his hand out to block the attack. From the attack, Ryu was sent back 5 feet and had a small scuff on his hand.

Happy: Oh no he's still fine!

Hiro: That was really cool Natsu!!

Natsu: ALRIGHT!!! Thanks Hiro!! And Happy just look! I moved him back a few feet! Not to mention his hand!

Hiro gave Natsu a thumbs up as he was still in his human form.

Happy: By the way Hiro can you teach me how to transform sometime?

Hiro: I'll show you after all this.

Ryu: Well Natsu, you took an advantage in my opening and actually made me resort to blocking your attack. Safe to say I'm impressed.

Natsu: Thanks!

Ryu: So as you're examiner, I say you pass.

Natsu: No way! I'm not gonna leave this place until I beat you up for real!

Ryu sighed hearing this.

Ryu: I was afraid you'd say that. I guess it can't be helped.

The ground around them started to shake shake as Ryu started to glow in a blue aura.

Ryu: But I don't think you'll wanna keep going once I show you my true power.

Happy: The grounds starting to shake.

Hiro: Here it comes...

Ryu: If you truly want to walk the path of Magic, and even reach its peak one day, you gotta have something that you still lack.

Ryu's aura flared up as it shot into the sky.

Ryu: I'll show you.

In the aura Ryu entered his Dragon Force blowing back Natsu as he landed on his back. The winds continued to grow as magma came from the ground into the sky. For Natsu all he could see was a massive black figure standing inside of the aura with red eyes. By mustering up all of his willpower Natsu forced himself to run at Ryu until the latter sharpened his gaze on Natsu instantly stopping the Dragon Slayer. Natsu looked into the red eyes of Ryu seeing the incomprehensible power lying behind them before dropping to the flor on his hands and knees.

Natsu: I... I accept defeat.....

Natsu was on ground ground shaking in fear from Ryu. True, genuine fear of him. Soon after Ryu reverted to his base form looking down. Happy looked to have tears in his eyes for the well being of his best friend's mind.

Happy: Natsu.....

Ryu: 'Maybe Dragon Force was too much.'

Shojo: You think?! You practically scarred the poor guy for life!!

Ryu: That was the smart thing to do Natsu. I respect anyone who has the courage to stand and fight their enemies. BUT. The wizards who truly have a chance of being great are the ones who know when to stand down. Remember Natsu, there's nothing wrong with being afraid. Even I myself face fear too. But, that's how we learn our weaknesses. That's how we progress and conquer that fear. You gotta know it to become a stronger, and gentler person. Necessary if you wanna be part of S-Class. Now that you know what you needed, you pass dude.

Natsu gasped hearing this as he looked up to the smiling Ryu.

Natsu: But... I didn't... beat you.

Ryu: Don't argue. You proved that you had not only the strength in this test, but you also had all the rest.

You extended out his hand to Natsu still vibrantly smiling.

Ryu: Let me tell you one last thing. Having powerful magic doesn't wrap up the battle. The thing that I respect about you most of all, is your drive to win. That undying desire for victory. I'm telling you cause I'm the same way. Like you, I hate to loose. Like I said years ago, I'll accept your challenge anytime.

Natsu has tears falling down his face as he suppressed the urge to cry out loud. He took Ryu's hand as he pulled him right back up.

Alright everyone that's it! I bet you didn't see this one coming! Natsu was the one to fight Ryu instead of a sibling battle! And since I just felt like it-

Ryu: ZA WARUDO!!! TOKIWA TOMARE!!!! Hey guys!

Shojo: This idiot is about to get the power to stop time. This could possibly end very badly but whatever.

I'm still right here fine...

Ryu: Uh oh.
