Everyone in the Fairy Tail Guild was celebrating in the Inn with Ryu being the center of attention.

Gajeel: Come on spill it man! How were you able to become a Dragon like that?!

Natsu: I wanna do it too!!

Ryu: Well you can say it's sorta my true form.

Keith: True form?

Ryu: Yeah, I'm already half Dragon. This right here is the form I stay in. Dad taught me how to remove the spell that limits me to my human form on me.

Aqua: Hold up, did he put a spell on the three of us?

Ryu: Yeah, but we need the right amount of strength to be able to handle it. With his training I barely was able to get there. If I didn't I could've gone wild attacking everyone.

Erza: I see.

The door was kicked down by Raito as he was definitely ticked.

Raito: If I ever ride a mine cart again it'll be too soon!

Ryu: What took you so long bro?

Raito: YOU JACKASS!!

Ryu: Consider that as payback for the prank when we were kids.

They started walking with Keith Lucy and Gray following. Raito went in front of them raising an eyebrow.

Raito: Did I not say Dragon Slayers, or did you three get Lacrima's in you the past day?

Azure and Karma were in bandages kneeling in front of the Sabertooth Master Jiemma.

Jiemma: Well Azure, Karma, what should I do with the two of you.

They both stayed silent with Azure honestly not caring.

Jiemma: I thought you two were true Dragon Slayers. You seemed to love reminding everyone along with Sting and Rogue.

Azure glared up at the giant man.

Azure: I don't ever recall using my title to show my power.

Karma: Azure shut-

Jiemma: Oh but you always had said you were unbeatable, even by me. Isn't that right? So imagine my surprise when you were both beaten by one man. Dragon or not. What do you have to say for yourselves?

Karma: ... You spelled it out clearly. Ryu was simply strong than us. He somehow brought out the power of an actual Dragon easily beating us.

Jiemma got up stomping in front of them.

Jiemma: That sounds like the words of a weakling. This that what I'm hearing? WELL?! I don't remember asking for your pitiful excuses Karma. And I never asked for either of you two to embarrass me like that!

A purple aura came around him scaring some of the members.

Jiemma: You've disgraced our name: As the Mightiest Guild Alive!!

Jiemma reached out to attack Azure but found himself holding his stomach in pain. This was from Azure who had his fist planted firmly there.

Azure: Tch.

Karma deadpanned before getting up.

Karma: *Sigh* I was getting sick on the sorry act anyway.

Azure got up having heard just about enough of Jiemma standing face to face with his black aura raging around him.

Azure: Think you can take a monster like him on than go on ahead. Just know that if I can't beat him than your life is his for the taking.

He was about to kick at Jiemma but stopped when he heard a voice.

???: Come on Master can't you cut them a break?

This was said by Mona who was with Lector.

Lector: I mean sure they lost once but think of all the other times they won us big battles.

Sting: Hey, Lector!!

Azure: Both of you get back!

Mona: I mean you've gotta realize that if he never loses Azure can never get the motivation to become even stronger. Can't we just let this one loss slide?

Jiemma: Who the hell are you two?

Lector: Huh? What do you mean Master, we're both members! We've even got the Saber Creat to prove it.

Azure: I told you two to get back now!

Jiemma seemed to become furious at the sight of their guild crest.

Jiemma: This is a total abomination! Who dared to defile the Sabertooth Guild Mark by putting it on not one but TWO cats?!!

He fired a magic blast at the two and in a purple flash they were gone. That right there broke both of the Dragon Slayers mindsets.

Sting: NO!! LECTOR!!!!

Azure: ... Mona?

Tears began to form in Azure's eyes as they fell onto the ground. Karma looked around frantically before Glen grabbing her. Soon enough Rogue did the same for Frosh.

Glen: K-Karma, I'm scared!

Karma: Just stay close to me Glen, I won't let him hurt you.

Sting cried out covering his face. Azure wasn't able to let out a sound as images and sounds of his old friend went in his mind.

Glen: Hey Azure!

A moment played in his mind when he had first met the fluffy Exceed.

FLASHBACK!!

Azure a kid Azure who was about 12 was walking through the woods just minding his own business when he heard a punch of dogs barking. He didn't really mind until he heard a scream.

???: HELP!

He was confused before waking to the sound. He saw what seemed to be a fluffy cat that could stand on two legs cowering for three rabid dogs.

Azure: 'Mmmm... Screw it I'll be nice.'

He walked over before kicking all the dogs away from the small cat. She opened her eyes seeing Azure. Another moment of silence passed as he started walking away. After 30 seconds he looked back seeing the same cat there. She was started and went behind a bush. After a moment Azure walked forward to her crouching down petting her head.

Azure: Hey, I'm not gonna hurt ya.

???: R-Really?

Azure: Course not.

She looked seeing him have a genuine smile.

FLASHBACK OVER!!

Azure: GLEN!!

He cried out his first friends name with pain in his voice.

Sting: What did you do?!! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!!!

Jiemma: Oh quit your whining. They were just flee bags that got what they deserved.

Azure: AHHHHHHH!!!!

He began to glow in a Dark Aura as the ground shattered. Minerva stepped back feeling the immense pressure he was giving off as everyone else was terrified.

Jiemma: This strength is- UGHH!!

Before he could finish Sting had thrusted his fist through Jiemma's heart. He turned back and saw Azure was done just standing moving out of the way for his opposite to attack.

Azure: HRAAGH!!!!!!!!

He let out a breath attack that completely engulfed Jiemma erasing every trace of him while also blowing the side of the guild away. They both had tears of utter rage falling from their faces.

Karma: 'I don't know weather to be terrified or a little turned on.'

Azure covered his face still saddened and in pain.

Guild Member 1: Now way! They took down Master Jiemma!

GM2: Try more like obliterated him! There's not a single trace of him left!

GM3: What are we gonna do?!

Minerva: Well done.

They looked back to see Minerva walking up.

Minerva: My fathers rein of terror has ended, and not a moment too soon. I'm not sure which one of you did the job, but it's clear to me one of you have to become the new master.

Sting: But I can't-

He was cut off by Azure's seething anger as his hand was covered in darkness.

Azure you think I'm gonna be Master of a guild who's master killed my best friend?! You must be out of your damn-

He was stopped from a hug from behind. This was from Karma.

Karma: It's not worth it...

His hand tightened up a bit before he relented calmly calming down.

Minerva: Rejoice the both of you. The strength that each of you have now belong to each of you you alone. That power was the very reason Ryu had such an edge on you Azure, and through that surge of emotion losing Mona you gained power that far eclipses any of the other Slayers.

Azure: ... I don't care about this new power.

Sting: Yeah... What's the point in having it if we had to lose our closest friends?

Minerva: Don't worry boys, your precious friends are still alive.

Their eyes widened hearing that.

Ryu: Raito, you still haven't explained what we're down here for.

They were all in a mine shaft looking around.

Raito: Well, more importantly...

He threw a barrage of icicles at rocks with Lucky Keith and Gray coming out.

Aqua: You followed us?!

Lucy: Uhhh, yeah...

Keith: I'm too curious to pass something like that up.

Wendy: I'm not sure how to feel about this.

Raito: Let em at this point. But if you guys try doing this shit again when I tell you not to...

He turned around and glared at them.

Raito: Your dead.

Lucy: GOT IT!!

Gray: Geez, what's the big secret.

Raito: Your about to find out.

Ryu sniffed the air smelling something VERY familiar.

Ryu: You guys smell that?

Natsu: Yeah...

They arrived in a bigger area of the cave that seemed to be littered with giant bones.

Aqua: These are...

Happy: All these used to be Dragons?

Carla: There are so many!

Lily: If you ever wanted proof that they existed, here it is.

Raito: I'm not sure if the corpses of dead Dragons would be safe for normal Wizards to breathe in. Hence why I told you morons to stay back.

Lucy: AH!!!

Happy: Who knows, maybe we'll find Igneel and Draden here.

They all did that as Wendy began to chant an incantation. After she was finished a green light shone around her.

Gray: Is it working Wendy?

Wendy: I'm trying to find one but residual energy is weak.

Natsu: Well keep-

Soon enough a green portal appeared above Wendy as a giant scaled hand came out. After that an entire green Dragon came out roaring scaring nearly everyone.

Raito: That's a Dragon alright.

Ryu: Yup.

Dragon: AHAHAHAHA!! Even in death scaring the pants off of humans is Hilarious! My name is Zirconis, they called me the Jade Dragon back in my day. I'm impressed you were able to conjure my-

Keith: Skip the formalities and the ass kissing.

Zirconis: Hm, not one for having much fun are you?

Keith: Not really no.

Carla: Can you tell us what happened here?

Happy: We were wondering why there were so many Dragon bones lying around.

Lily: Learning their fate is why we summoned you here.

Zirconis: I have no interest talking with you humans.

Ryu: How about the next Dragon God then?

Zirconis: What are you-

He looked at Ryu a little surprised.

Zirconis: You... No it can't be...

Ryu: Your thinking I look like Bahamut right?

Zirconis: How do you know that name?!

Ryu: I just told you, I'm the next Dragon God.

Ryu transformed into his Dragon form shocking Zirconis.

Ryu: I am Bahamut's son, along with the two at my feet's talons being my siblings.

Raito: WHAT THE HELL?!!!

Aqua: S-So this is his Dragon form huh?

Lynx: Definitely scary, but cool at the same time!

Zirconis had his jaw dropped and his eyes wide out of his head.

Ryu: Well, do you plan on speaking anytime soon?

Zirconis: F-Forgive my insolence your majesty!!

Ryu: Forgive and forget I say. Now can you explain what all these Dragon Remains are doing here? And don't elaborate too much.

Zirconis: Of course my Lord. Well, this was caused by the Civil War of the Dragons.

Ryu: The war?

Raito: You know about there being a war?

Ryu: Yeah I was trained in a tiring history by the old man too. Though I don't know too much about it.

Zirconis: Anyway, after the Dragon Slayer Magic was created, one man in particular became something of a Wild Card, a nearly unstoppable force of Nature.

Ryu: Wait, the scent I picked up earlier...

Zirconis: He bathed the countryside in the blood of our kin. The very mention of his name still scares me. This man slayed countless Dragons and soaked in their blood. He used his powers so often, that his skin turned to scales. His teeth: Sharpened into fangs, and he stopped being human all together.

Lucy was terrified making sense of what he said.

Lucy: Are you saying, he turned INTO a Dragon?

Ryu: Now I understand exactly why these are here, and who's the cause of this.

Zirconis: Despite his human origin, he became the King of all Dragon kind.

Ryu: The Dragon of Apocalypse: Acnologia.

Natsu: ACNOLOGIA?!!!

Raito: You mean that monster was human?!!

Ryu: That's not good. It's been 7 years since we've seen him. It's only likely that his strength has increased.

Zirconis: You mean even with the power you've awakened to now you are unsure if you can beat him Lord Ryu?

Ryu: 'Lord does have a nice ring to it.' If I had been awake a year sooner, then I think I would've been able to defeat him easily.

Raito: 'Big words but they might have so truth.'

Ryu: Thanks for the info.

Zirconis had a toothy smile on his face.

Zirconis: If your anything like that father of yours you should definitely be able to.

He started fading away after those last words.

Natsu: What's happening?!!

Aqua: The only thing I can think of is he probably made peace being able to confide what was bothering him.

Wendy: Well either that or seeing- AHHH!!!

She looked at the giant Dragon form of Ryu.

Ryu: Something wrong Wendy?

Wendy: N-No way, Ryu?!

Ryu: Of course it's... I'm still in my Dragon Form aren't I?

Lucy: You forgot?!

Soon enough Ryu went back to normal sighing in relief.

Ryu: Better?

Wendy: That's what you look like as a Dragon?!!

Ryu: Uh huh. Anyway-

Gray: Looks like we've gotten ourselves into a situation.

Lucy: L-Let's pretend we didn't here any of that ok?

Natsu: There's only one thing I wanna know... DOES THIS MEAN WE'RE GONNA TURN INTO DRAGONS TOO?!!!

Gajeel: HOW SHOULD I KNOW?!!

Wendy: BUT I DON'T WANNA!!

Aqua: Oh, thanks for being so considerate guys. Not like there are 3 right here.

Natsu: Oh right... My bad.

Ryu felt a Magic Power nearby but the others seemingly not noticing.

Ryu: 'Future Aqua?'

Raito: Ryu, what's up?

Ryu: ... I'll be right back.

He snapped his fingers stopping time flying to where he sensed the future version of his sister. After 4 seconds he unpaused time with Future Aqua jumping seeing him appear like that.

Future Aqua: Stop doing that.

Ryu: Never. Anyway, why can only I sense you?

Future Aqua: Have you really never noticed? I have a more Pure Demonic Magic Power. It's hard for normal people to sense. And even then you were always able to sense the smallest amount of Magic.

Ryu: Touché. So what is it?

Future Aqua: Did Zirconis tell you?

Ryu: Uh huh.

Future Aqua: Good. Now I'm going to tell you exactly what's gotta be done tomorrow.
