Last time Cyrus ended up in combat on his way to the Edolas Capital. He was ambushed by Edolas Soldiers and Erza Knightwalker. Luckily he was saved and by his Edolas Counterpart and is now on a direct course with Edolas's Royal Capital!

Cyrus was starting to get really annoyed, he had now been walking for three entire days straight and still hadn't arrived at the Royal Capital yet. "I swear that when I get there I'm bringing the entire place down brick by brick! Unfortunately for them, Mystogan had Edolas me give me that pill and I have my magic back!" Cyrus thought to himself as he let a small smile spread across his face. After reaching the top of another hill he finally found the Royal Capital under the night sky.

Cyrus also noticed that a battle against the Edolas army had already started. Who else was fighting then Lucy Heartfilia and the entirety of the Edolas Fairy Tail Guild.

             Cyrus looked down at the battle in front of him as it appeared that despite putting up one hell of a fight, the Edolas Fairy Tail couldn't keep up with the army's seemingly endless numbers. "So they started the party without me? Gotta admit I'm a little offended, ah well time to bust some heads!" Cyrus said as he jumped down before making his way through the Edolas Fairy Tail members. Eventually he got to his world's Lucy, who currently had one of her Celestial Spirits, the one in question being Loke. "We'll look who finally decided to show up." Loke said as he shot a smirk at Cyrus.

          "Bite me lion boy! You have no idea what I've been through past few days!" Cyrus snapped back, but shot Loke a smirk of his own. "Never thought I'd be happy to see you Cyrus. Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy are fighting the king and his mechanical dragon." Cyrus turned to see the Gray Fullbuster from his world standing nearby.

"So we just gotta hold off the king's army? As usual those dragon slaying knuckleheads get to have all the fun! Oh well, guess I'll just have to make do with all these small fries!" Cyrus said as he cracked his neck before turning to face the Edolas army. "What hope is there? For every soldier we take down another three take his place! We're beat!" Edo-Natsu said in a completely defeated tone as he looked down at his feet in fear.
"Oh would you relax pinkie? You all were able to work up the courage to come out here and fight, now your bravery is about to get rewarded!" Cyrus said as his unnerving smile spread across his face. "Your just one guy, I doubt you could do much to turn things in our favor." Edo-Lucy said as she gave Cyrus a stern look. Cyrus looked over his shoulder as a dangerous gleam flashed in his green eyes that scared the Edolas Fairy Tail members. "There are a few things you didn't take into account blondie. I have my magic back, I haven't eaten or slept in three days, and most importantly I'm extremely pissed off!" Cyrus said as his smile grew even wider.
Cyrus stepped in front of everyone as he faced the oncoming legion of Edolas Soldiers. Cyrus clapped his hands together in front of him as a large silver magic circle appeared under his feet. "Besides sometimes all it takes is one thing to turn the tides of battle!" Cyrus said with a cackle as Mercury began pooling out of the magic circle under his feet.

"Other me, what's he doing?" Edo-Gray asked in fear at the sudden burst of magical energy coming from Cyrus and his magic circle. "Let's just say there's a reason he was given the title of the Quicksilver Devil in our world." Gray said as even he was intimidated by Cyrus's burst of power. The large pool of Mercury began to shoot high into the air forming a giant wave. Cyrus separated his hands before raising them high above his head as the Mercury only grew more violent in its movements and seemed to take the form of a serpentine monster with a furious head. "Leviathan of Raging Quicksilver!!!" Cyrus shouted as the Mercury Leviathan shot towards the Edolas soldiers with its mouth wide open.

             The Edolas soldiers were completely brutalized by the sharp teeth in the Mercury Leviathan's mouth. Those who weren't in the path of the beast's jaws, were shredded by the beast's raging liquid metal body. The leviathan ripped through the army's line sending soldiers flying in all different directions as the lucky few to come out unscathed scrambled to get into some kind of attack formation. "What in the actual hell is this guy?!" Edo-Juvia shouted as all of them were stunned by Cyrus's power magic spell. Lucy turned to smile at her Edolas counterpart and the counterparts of her guild mates. "He's one of Fairy Tail's S-Rank Mages!" Lucy said with a confident smirk before looking back at Cyrus.
The Mercury Leviathan finally dispersed leaving behind pools of Mercury that started to evaporate into gas. Cyrus let out a satisfied sigh as he looked over his handiwork and the terrified soldiers. "I'll tell you what today is already way better then the last three I've had!" Cyrus said as the Edolas Fairy Tail members looked at him in both fear and concern. Gray and Lucy just smiled as their mission just got a whole lot easier. "Big sis!" Everyone turned to see Edo-Elfman looking at Edo-Mirajane, who was currently doing her best to fend of a few of the Edolas soldiers that survived Cyrus's attack.

Edo-Mirajane failed to notice two soldiers attacking her from behind, however before their Spears could skewer her, they were slashed in half. There standing behind zero-Mirajane with Suigin drawn was Edo-Cyrus, who's face was obscured by his hat. "Well it's about time you showed up to lazy bastard." Cyrus said in a snarky tone at his counterpart. "Apologies, it seems the king didn't take the news of my return very well and sent platoons of soldiers after me." Edo-Cyrus said as he made sure that Edo-Mirajane was unharmed from the soldiers.
               Edo-Cyrus walked up to his counterpart as he sheathed his sword and looked over the reinforcements approaching them from land and sky. "It appears the king has no intention of surrender, shall well stop the enemy in their tracks?" Edo-Cyrus asked as that dangerous gleam shined in both their eyes as smiles spread across their face. "I thought you'd never ask Silver Flash! Let's topple this army!" Cyrus said as he heard a gasp from behind him. Edo-Levy stepped forward and looked at Edo-Cyrus in disbelief as tears welled up in her eyes.
               "B-Big brother? Is it really you?" Edo-Levy asked in what sounded like scared hope that her brother could still be alive. Edo-Cyrus shrugged off the top half of his robes as it now hung at his waist. Edo-Cyrus then tossed his hat high into the air as it landed on the ground behind him. "Hello little sister, I'm sorry I took so long to return home. We have much catching up to do, but first allow your big brother to protect what you care about." Edo-Cyrus said as he gripped the handle of Suigin. Edo-Levy nodded in understanding as tears were still in the corners of her eyes, but she quickly rejoined her guild mates so her brother could fight.
                Edo-Cyrus drew Suigin from its sheathe before gripping it with both hands and directing his attention towards the soldiers flying in the sky on the backs of Legions. "One Sword Style, Blade of Gentle Oblivion!!!" Edo-Cyrus shouted as he preformed a horizontal slash that cut all the Legions clean in half sending them crashing towards the ground.

Cyrus then created a giant version of his Quicksilver Cannonball before tossing it at the ground troops. "Quicksilver Meteor!!" Cyrus shouted as he tossed the large sphere of Mercury at the soldiers as it exploded catching all of them in the blast radius. "So this is what your capable of? I must say I am impressed with your abilities Earthland Cyrus." Edo-Cyrus said as he now stood back to back with his counterpart. "Right back at you Silver Flash!" Cyrus said before he and his counterpart launched themselves back into combat once again.
                Lucy noticed that her Edolas counterpart seemed shell shocked by what she was currently witnessing. "Still taking it all in?" Lucy said with a small chuckle to her counterpart as she patted her on the back. "I thought you Earthland guys were freaks of nature, but apparently people from Edolas are just as bad." Edo-Lucy said in a still completely dumbfounded tone. Lucy let out a laugh to her words before giving her a pat on the back. "Don't worry you get used to it after awhile." Lucy said before a loud crashing was heard from the battlefield. They turned to see destruction in the capital and a large golem creature had arrived to kill them.

Cyrus looked at the large golem creature with a slightly amused look on his face. "So what's this thing? Some kind of defense mechanism?" Cyrus said as he looked the golem over from all angles. "In a way your correct, this is a Lacrima Golem. It's an automated defense system for the capital. The large amount of magic your releasing must have woken it up." Edo-Cyrus said as he readied Suigin for battle. "All of you get inside the capital! My counterpart and I will hold this monster off!" Edo-Cyrus said as all of Edolas Fairy Tail rushed into the city along with Lucy and Gray.
               "So what's the plan to take this thing down?" Cyrus asked his counterpart as they now stood alone against the golem. "The Lacrima's powering its joints are its source of power. The problem is that all of those crystals absorb all magic attacks." Edo-Cyrus explained as he knew this was going to be a difficult battle. "That's perfect isn't it? Look can you destroy the crystals if I make you an opening?" Cyrus asked his counterpart as he received a nod in response. Without another word, Cyrus charged towards the Golem as he prepared a spell. "Quicksilver Jet-Stream!!" Cyrus shouted as he aimed his arm at the golem's chest. A high pressured beam of Mercury was fired from Cyrus's arm.
              The beam of Mercury slammed into the golem's chest as it began to absorb the magic, but Cyrus kept firing his attack. "Alright Silver Flash your up!" Cyrus shouted to his Edolas Counterpart, who already jumped into the air with Suigin drawn. "One Sword Style, Dance of a Thousand Blades!!!" Edo-Cyrus shouted as he slashed at the golem before landing behind it and sheathing Suigin. All the Lacrima Crystals were cut into millions of tiny fragments as it collapsed onto the ground, out of commission. Cyrus walked up to his Edolas Counterpart before giving him a high five.
               "That was freakin solid! Let's go see what all the commotion is." Cyrus suggested as both him and his counterpart ran into the capital only to find buildings destroyed and the Anima in the sky, sucking all the magic back to Earthland.

"It appears the magic is returning to your world, this is good. The people of Edolas have relied on magic for to long. It's time to stand on our own two feet." Edo-Cyrus said as he looked up into the sky. "Yeah question is, what's got everyone all freaked out?" Cyrus said before he was tapped on the shoulder by his Edolas counterpart. Edo-Cyrus pointed towards Mystogan and Natsu, who was dressed like a demon fighting. Cyrus let his smile spread across his face at the site of this. "Salamander you pink haired moron, that's genius!" Cyrus thought to himself as he realized Natsu was playing the villain to make Mystogan look like the hero. Both fighters delivered a punch before Natsu collapsed in defeat as he was surrounded by a glow.
"It appears your time is almost up in Edolas. It was a pleasure Cyrus McGarden." Edo-Cyrus said as he held his hand out for a handshake. Cyrus shook his hand as he gave him a smile. "I could say the same to you Silver Flash! Although you'll have to excuse me, there's something I need to take care of." Cyrus said before running off as Edo-Cyrus watched him go. "Other me you truly are an interesting individual, take care back in your world." Edo-Cyrus thought to himself as he watched his counterpart go off in search of something important.
Cyrus found Lisanna in the middle of saying her goodbyes to Edo-Elfman and Edo-Mirajane. Both him and Lisanna were now floating in the air as the Anima's pull was only getting stronger. "Ready to go?" Cyrus asked as he floated up next to Lisanna who turned to look at him with tears in her eyes. "Yes, I'm ready to go home." Lisanna said as Cyrus held out his hand to her, which she quickly took. "Please make sure she gets reunited with her siblings!" Edo-Mirajane said as she watched them be pulled higher into the air. Both Earthland Mages waved goodbye before being pulled into the Anima and back to Earthland.

So now the fight in Edolas is over! Although we still need to see our favorite guild return home safe and sound! Also what will happen in Edolas now that all the magic is gone?
