Last time we got to see Cyrus in action as he took on an S-Rank Quest! Now he's headed back to Magnolia town and the Fairy Tail Guild! What awaits him there?

Cyrus walked towards the top of a hill with his backpack on his back as he was nearing his destination. "Not far now, hopefully I won't get roped into one of those idiot's brawls." Cyrus thought to himself as he finally made it to the top of the hill and looked down at the town below. Magnolia, the home to the Fairy Tail Mage's Guild.

"It's still so funny to me that such a serene looking town is home to the rowdiest group of morons this side of Fiore." Cyrus mumbled to himself as he made his way towards the town entrance. Cyrus made his way through town as he got a few glances from passerby as they knew him from the Guild.
               After close to half an hour of walking, Cyrus finally arrived at Fairy Tail, although it looked different from how he remembered it last time he was here.

"Looks like Gramps did some remodeling. Did these idiots finally bring the whole place down with their brawling?" Cyrus said to himself as he walked through the gate before standing in front of the door to the Guild. Cyrus let his trademark unnerving grin spread across his face as he swung both doors open as everyone turned to look at him.
               "What's up assholes?! You guys miss me?!" Cyrus shouted as he received glares from most of the people in the guildhall. Cyrus looked over the glaring faces as his smile grew wider, somethings never really change around this place. "I must have some kind of secondary magic. Everyone is partying and having a good time, then the moment I walk in it's like someone died." Cyrus thought to himself as he tried to contain his laugher the best he could manage. Cyrus's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of someone running towards his location.
                A girl in an orange dress with short blue hair that matched his own ran up to him. He dwarfed the girl in the height department as she stood at four foot, eleven inches compared to his six foot, three inches. This was of course Levy McGarden, his baby sister.

Levy quickly tackled her brother into a hug as Cyrus caught her and returned the gesture. "Big brother your finally back!" Levy said happily as she snuggled into her brother. Cyrus ruffled his sister's hair as his seemingly already huge grin somehow got better.
"What's up half pint? Looks like I missed remodeling day!" Cyrus said with a laugh as Levy puffed out her cheeks angrily at him. "Who are you calling a half pint?!" Levy growled as she began punching her brother repeatedly on the chest. "You of course! I told you that I'll stop calling you that once your grow at least another foot!" Cyrus said as Levy only began to punch him more which only caused him to cackle more. Cyrus grabbed Levy before throwing her over his shoulder as she shrieked in embarrassment. "Put me down you big oaf!!" Levy squealed as she tried to free herself from her brother's grasp to absolutely zero success.
                 Cyrus smiled as his sister struggled to break free. "As your big brother it's my job to make sure don't cause a scene half pint!" Cyrus said with another laugh before he set his sister down in a nearby chair before stepping back. "You silver bastard, fight me!!" A boy with pink hair and a flaming fist shouted as Cyrus turned to see Fairy Tail's very own Salamander, also known as Natsu Dragneel.

As Natsu's flaming fist was about to connect with Cyrus's chest, his entire turned into Mercury before a large hole was formed in the center of his torso. Natsu's fist went through the hole as the dragon slayer looked at Cyrus in complete shock.
               "Natsu, I know your not the brightest, but if you don't extinguish your fist...well the entire guild might fill up with poisonous gas." Cyrus said darkly as Natsu noticed that gas was already coming off of Cyrus's torso from his fire making it evaporate. Natsu quickly extinguished his fist before removing his arm from the hole in Cyrus's torso before stomping away while grumbling in complete anger as little spurts of fire shot out of his mouth. "That knucklehead has guts, to bad he doesn't have the brains to back it up." Cyrus thought to himself as he looked around for the guild master so he could report.
"Oi brat! You really need to be more careful with that deadly magic of yours! You do know there are kids in this guildhall!" Cyrus let out an annoyed sigh as he turned to face Macao, who was giving him one hell of a death glare right now.

"Oh I'm sorry Macao, I didn't take into account someone would be dumb enough to bring their young child into a guild full of rowdy, battle happy dumb assess." Cyrus said in his usual snarky tone as Macao lunged at him, but stopped before he could attack him. "Dammit, I swear if it wasn't for your hazardous magic I would beat you to a pulp." Macao said before storming off in a huff similar to how Natsu did mere moments ago.
Cyrus found an empty table at the corner of the guild where he didn't have to be worried about being bothered by anyone. "What's taking Gramps so long? I swear the longer I stay here, the more annoying the eyes drilling into the back of my head get!" Cyrus thought to himself as he tried to ignore the fact he was practically in everyone's crosshairs. "Hi! Your Levy's brother right?" Cyrus looked up to see a blonde haired girl that he most certainly never seen around the guild before.

The girl took notice of his obvious confusion as she decided to continue introducing herself to her friend's older brother.
"My name is Lucy Heartfilia, I joined Fairy Tail a couple months back. I'm close friends with your sister, strange that she never mentioned you." Lucy said in a friendly tone as she waited for Cyrus to respond. "Look blondie, if you couldn't tell I'm not very popular around here. My magic is Mercury, so I'm a literal walking health hazard." Cyrus said in a matter of fact tone as Lucy looked at him in surprise. "Everyone is so nice here though, why does your magic get them so angry with you?" Lucy asked as she couldn't begin to wrap her head around the information.
Lucy then noticed one of Cyrus's green eyes through his hair as it had a dangerous gleam in it. "Well it doesn't help that if your dumb enough to get near me when I'm fighting and you get caught up in some toxic gas I can't be bothered to give a damn!" Cyrus said as his unnerving smile spread across his face that sent a shiver through Lucy's entire body. "I-Oh would you look at the time! I should get going!" Lucy said in a panicked tone before quickly taking her leave. "Associating with me will only cause you trouble blondie." Cyrus thought to himself as he noticed Levy shooting him a scowl for his whole conversation with her best friend just now.
Cyrus let out a slightly annoyed sigh as he knew he was gonna here about this later from his sister. "Great now half pint is going to give me an earful." Cyrus mumbled to himself as he leaned back in his chair lazily. He was about to let himself begin to daydream when he felt a very familiar set of eyes burning into his head. Cyrus looked up to see his fellow S-Rank Mage and the bartender, Mirajane Strauss glaring at him.

Cyrus cracked a devilish grin as he stared Mirajane right in the eye as her glare didn't intimidate him slightly.
"Now I really feel welcomed after seeing your glare Mirajane, I must be the luckiest guy in Fiore considering I'm the only one who consistently get you to glare at me like that." Cyrus said with a small chuckle as Mirajane slammed her fist down on the table. "Now is not the time Cyrus! You've been gone for months like always and while you were away the guild got attacked twice!" Mirajane said in complete frustration and annoyance at Cyrus's attitude. Cyrus snorted before leaning back in his chair lazily. "Your all still alive, I fail to see the issue Mira." Cyrus said in a borer tone as he looked at her.
Mirajane let out a frustrated sigh as she knew there was just no reasoning with Cyrus. "Fairy Tail is a family Cyrus, you help family when their in need!" Mirajane growled as her glare intensified. Cyrus's smile turned into a glare as Mirajane flinched slightly as she had never seen him angry, even if she couldn't see his eyes. "Family? What does that make me, the junky uncle that no one invites to the get togethers? Then when he does show up, everyone is pissed off he showed up in the first place?" Cyrus asked as Mirajane's eyes widened in shock.
"C-Cyrus, you are a member of Fairy Tail and that makes you family." Mirajane tried to assure him as she reached out a hand towards him, but he slapped it away. "Bite me Mira, I know how everyone feels, my magic is dangerous. I might as well just assume the position right, but hey I like being an insufferable asshole!" Cyrus whispered to her before walking past her in search of the Guild Master. Mirajane watched him go with a worried look in her eyes. "Cyrus, what caused you to be so standoffish with everyone? You were like that when we were kids." Mirajane thought to herself before getting back to work before she thought to much.

Guild Master's Office
Cyrus sat across from a short elderly man with a large grin on his face, this was Fairy Tail's Guild Master, Makarov.

"Man I really missed a lot huh gramps?" Cyrus said as he leaned back in his chair in thought. "Yes, much has happened since you've been away these past few months. Please try to not start a fight with Gajeel, he has truly changed." Makarov said as he worried the S-Rank Mage might attack his new guild mate. "Look if Levy is cool with him, then I'm fine with him. So you really kicked Laxus out of the Guild?" Cyrus said in both surprise and what could only be described as being impressed with Makarov's actions with his grandson.
"It had to be done, now let's talk about you shall we?" Makarov said as he smiled at Cyrus. "I'll take another couple of quests and be on my way again." Cyrus said as he was about to leave, but Makarov used his magic to make his hand giant and block Cyrus's path. "Actually Cyrus, your going on mandatory vacation! Your sister is worried about you and frankly so am I. You need to start spending more time around the guild." Makarov said as he let out a good natured chuckle. Cyrus looked at the old man in complete disbelief at what he had just heard.
"You can't be serious gramps! You want me to stop taking jobs?!" Cyrus said as he still couldn't believe what he was hearing right now. "Yes and that is my final work on the matter, now go back to your house and rest. You might wanna clean first, the entire place is probably covered in dust!" Makarov said with a laugh, but Cyrus wasn't listening. "I'm stuck here at the guild and can't go on jobs. This fucking blows!" Cyrus thought to himself as he knew the next week was going to be a complete hell for him. He was trapped in Magnolia by the orders of his Guild Master and there was nothing he could do about it.
