A/N: here's chapter 7 for you

In Magnolia

On top of a grassy hill overlooking Magnolia stands a derelict guild hall that belonged to Fairy Tail. The guild was quiet, almost somber in appearance. Most of Fairy Tail had left after the guild fell on hard times due to their most powerful members dying on Tenrou Island 7 years ago. The doors were then kicked open and in walked a bunch of bandits holding various weapons ranging from clubs to axes. They walked up to a purple haired man who looked to be in his late forties or early fifties he was wearing a white trench coat with brown pants and black boots, and demanded the money they owed them. The others of the group were doing their best destroying the guild hall or harassing the woman of the guild, when suddenly the remains of the door was smashed open causing everyone to look at the entrance to see a bunch of shadowy figures in the door way. The bandits leader then shouted. "Who are you and what do you think your doing". 

The figures then walked into the guild and then came into view causing the members of Fairy Tail to be stunned at what they saw while the other people were looking confused and the leader looked irritated that he hadn't gotten an answer yet. Just as he was about to ask again he was sent flying by a fist encased in jagged rocks, when he stood up and saw the person who punched him, he froze with a  terrified look upon his face, there stood a man of above average height with burning red eyes and short auburn hair with a look as if to say he was going to kill him."I will only say this once leave this place or I will make sure that messing with Fairy Tail was the worst decision you have ever made". The man said with venom dripping with every word he spoke. The bandits then ran out of the guild as fast as they could and didn't stop to collect the money they had come to get. The man then sighed looking at the new guild hall and what was left of Fairy Tail. The rest of the people now came into view and could be identified as the Tenrou Team that was lost 7 years ago.

"We're back"! Natsu yelled. The purple haired man from earlier then walked up to Makarov and said. "Master Makarov I gladly give the guild back to you". He said in a tired voice. "Thank you Macao, what happened while we were away"? Makarov asked. "Yeah we were only gone for a few weeks". Natsu chimed in."No you guys have been gone for 7 years". Macao said causing the Tenrou Team to look at him in shock."Did you say 7 years"? Daniel asked with confusion thinking that they hadn't been gone for that long. "Yes, when we heard that you were missing everyone went looking for you. Other guilds helped too, like Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus but when we got to the island it wasn't there. But we never gave up hope that you were still out there, most of the members moved on after we lost most of our popularity". Wakaba, a tall man with a short brown hair that seemed to be receding and brown beard wearing a green jacket and brown pants, told the group who were still shocked that they were gone for such a long time. 

"Well there's only one thing to do when someone or a group returns after a long time. It's time to party"! Daniel shouted. Everyone yelled and started talking and drinking, a boy with short dark purple hair, with an outfit similar to Natsu's except he was wearing a maroon vest, a yellow scarf and green pants, who looked eleven or twelve then walked up to Natsu and his team, who were sitting at a table at the far end of the guild hall."Hey Natsu". The boy said getting the teams attention."Who are you..." Natsu said but then sniffed the air. "Wait a minute is that you Romeo"? Natsu asked shocked that the little boy he once known had grown up. Romeo then smiled and said "Yep". He then told Natsu and his team that he'd practiced magic to try and keep the guild safe while everyone was gone. 

At the other end of the bar sat Daniel, Ultear and Meredy talking to Makarov, who was drinking a beer, about random topics or what Ultear and Meredy had done in Grimiore Heart, this was still a painful topic for both women as the regret they felt for all the awful things that had been carried out was still fresh in their minds, when a young lady with short purple hair wearing a green dress walks up to the group looking at Ultear and Meredy and asked Makarov. "Master who are these people"? She asked whilst gesturing to Ultear and Meredy. "They are the newest members of Fairy Tail, Ultear and Meredy Milkovich". Makarov replied while drinking his beer. "They still need their marks though gramps, you did say once we got back they would get them". Daniel said after taking a sip from his mug. "I know and we will, Kinana can you get Mirajane to give these two their guild stamps please"? Makarov asked the purple haired girl. Kinana then nodded and went to find Mirajane, Ultear looked at Daniel she then tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention. He then turned around to face her she asked him. "Why did you ask Master Makarov if we could join is guild after all we've done we don't belong in a guild like this"?While tears began to fall from her eyes as they stained her pale skin red from all the tears. 

Daniel looked at Ultear cupped the side of her face with both of his hands and replied. "The reason I asked him if you two could join is because I could see that what you were doing was hurting you on the inside and you regretted everything you had done, I believed that you deserve to be somewhere and with people that can make your life mean something once again". Ultear tried to hold back her tears but could not as they began to fall faster this time, Daniel then pulled her into a hug which she gladly accepted. Daniel turned to look at Meredy who was crying just as much as Ultear was Daniel then held out one of his arms for her to join in the hug, Meredy didn't hesitate as she joined in on the hug.

"I shall protect you two as much as I can even if it costs me my life". Daniel said he then let go of both Ultear and Meredy, he leaned towards Ultear and kissed her on the lips surprising her, Meredy and everyone in the guild who was watching the whole event take place. Ultear flinched at the contact at first but soon began to melt into the kiss and after a minute of kissing the two then breathlessly parted lips so they could draw air, Daniel looked into Ultear's red eyes with his own bright blue eyes. 

"Well that was something" Daniel said in between breathes."It sure was and it was amazing" Ultear replied while breathing heavily and blushing.The entire guild then erupted into a thunderous applause and the guys came over to congratulate Daniel and the girls did the same with Ultear. Mira then gave Ultear her guild mark, a blue mark in the middle of her back, whereas Meredy got a pink mark on her upper thigh. 

The guild party went on until the early hours of the following morning. The members who were still conscious went back to their houses. Daniel, Luna, who had been hanging out with Happy, Carla and Lily the entire time, Ultear and Meredy walked out of the guild hall laughing about events that happened at the party like Natsu losing a bet to Gray and having to sing while dancing on a table and Macao, Wakaba and Makarov losing to Cana in a drinking contest. "So do you ladies want to stay with me because I assume that you don't have a place to stay"? Daniel asked.

"That would be lovely". Ultear said while holding Daniel's hand.

Meredy nodded agreeing with Ultear. As they walked up the stone pathed streets of Magnolia they arrive at a modest looking two storey house with a bright red front door. Daniel reaches into his pocket and grabs a key and opens the door and turns the light on. As Ultear and Meredy walk in they see a nicely decorated kitchen with a fridge freezer, multiple worktop counters coloured red and an oven with 4 cooking rings on the top. They walk though an archway to see a large black leather couch, that could comfortably fit  four or five people on it, and a big 45" lacrima TV. Luna meanwhile had flown upstairs, landed on his bed in Daniel room and fallen asleep. As Ultear and Meredy walked to the stairs to see Daniel waiting for them. 

"If you'll follow me I'll show you where your rooms are". Daniel said ushering them upstairs.

As they reached the upstairs they walked along the hall way to a bedroom, on the way Daniel pointed out where the bathroom is, Daniel then opened the door to reveal a double king sized bed with a wardrobe and full length mirror. "This is your room Meredy". Daniel said with a smile on his face. Meredy looked shocked at first but then smiled and hugged Y/N thanking him as she heading into her room. "Goodnight you two". Meredy said winking at the two of them and closing her door."Goodnight Meredy". Daniel and Ultear said together.

"Now to show you your room Ultear". Daniel said and began walking only for Ultear to grab his arm forcing him to stop and look at her."I think I'd like to sleep in your room". She said while smirking. Smirking back Daniel replied "Really now, well I think I can arrange that". They then walked to Daniel's room as Daniel opened the door, the room looked a lot like Meredy's except it was a bit bigger and had an ensuite bathroom. Daniel and Ultear then changed and hopped into bed cuddling each other. "Goodnight Ultear". Daniel said yawning, he then kissed her forehead and fell asleep. Ultear chuckled and replied "Goodnight Daniel". She then nuzzled into his shoulder and fell asleep.
